My review is for Walmart pickup. It was my first time doing it. I ordered one item and waited 35 minutes for it. A car next to me ended up arriving about 15 minutes after I did and they got their stuff first. I had to literally stop an employee and ask them if I could cancel my order or if something was going to be coming my way soon. The employee said that they were really busy probably because of the super bowl but I'm not sure why someone who got there after me was served before me. Especially when I'm only picking up one item. If you're interested in being held hostage, I would recommend pick up, otherwise avoid it all costs. read more

This Walmart tends to have everything you could ever be looking for, so as long as you can ensure potentially long lines because all of your neighbors likely have the same thought as you with visiting here. There are lots of check-out registers, so just hang in there and you'll be out with all your stuff soon enough. This is a super-Walmart, so there's everything from a full-blown grocery store here, to a home goods section, to a complete pharmacy, big-screen TV's, automotive section, toy section, hunting / fishing section, and most / all of my daughters' school supplies for the upcoming school year. This Walmart is pretty well-lit on the inside. This is my closest Walmart Supercenter (E Colonial) and I try to avoid it like the plague (too soon?). Occasionally, I "have" to come here for something and when I do, I try to get in and out as quickly as I can. For my Walmart needs, I prefer the Neighborhood Market stores for groceries and the Lake Nona or Goldenrod store (near the airport) as those are newer and nicer. They have all the same things as other Walmarts, but it always just seems more messy and cluttered and generally unpleasant. I would go out of my way to go to a different store if I had the time, but sometimes, it's just more convenient to stop here. So I'll just navigate the crappy parking lot, figure out which doors are open, and hopefully get a cart! read more

Buyer beware! Possible scam with delivery driver. I purchased a mattress topper for $125. It was in stock at the store and delivery was free. The item (it's a king size and big) was never delivered to my house. I walked the neighborhood in the middle of the rain and strong wind from Hurricane Helene . No other doors match the pic they delivered it to supposedly. I called 7 times and use the chat feature online 3 times. Every person I spoke with said I was in the right and it will be refunded. It had to go through some other team and they email back the decision. They denied my claim and stated I signed for it. Even though they have evidence that it was put on someone's porch and no evidence of my signature. I got no where fast! I think it's scam and now I'm out $125. read more

This particular Walmart, located on East Colonial Drive, is often crowded and I cannot say that it is always a good shopping experience, but I have found myself here more than once or twice pretty much for the convenience. Service is not always the best, but I however I cannot honestly say I've ever had and exceptionally horrible service here. It is more so that Walmart does not pride itself (nor is known for) their customer service. Would I recommend here? This is my go to Walmart because it's the closest and it's not a "neighborhood" one which tend to be smaller. This location is always busy and I see tons of workers but see more self checkout or greeters (they literally have someone just stand there to handout masks) then actual cashiers; it's also hard to get an employee to help you look or grab something....it's like they disappear when that happens lol I've never had problems with my food; like being spoiled or moldy, usually the things I want are in stock..well besides bread, it goes up and down. I remember bread being out for almost a month before and now it's pasta but that at most grocery stores now. This is also my go to place for money orders because it a dollar and I think it goes up to a $1,000 for one which is nice since Publix only goes up to $500 so I usually have to get two money orders...I'm a cheap skate and don't wanna pay another dollar lol XD Also, the other reviews talking about college stuff...YES! Eek, messy and chaotic location. From the parking lot to the inside of the store it felt unorganized and just rushed and weird. We were here for a pop-up event that was in the parking lot. We decided to go in for a few essential needs like baby food, juice and waters. It is a huge location with a layout similar to the chain's other super sized locations. Most items were in the correct aisles and had some signage around. The merch walls are so high it's difficult to see any signage towards the back, so I had to go on memory of the layout from other stores to find the baby section. They did have a large variety of options in the baby section and clothing area. Be sure to read the pricing label as many items were moved around and not necessarily directly above the correct pricing. The clothing section was crowded and overpacked. We were using a cart cause of the little one and it wasn't able to fit through half of the different areas. My husband just ended up standing with her while I did a quick once through on my own. They have a ton of self check out registers, but they are packed in and limited on spacing. It has a single lead in line that goes to about ten machines. There was an employee up there, but she was chatting with another employee and not directing the line or helping customers. It was kind of a free for all. Overall: D We got what we needed, but we left feeling like it was just a chaotic and messy experience. This is honestly why we stopped going to the super store versions of these a long time ago. read more

In an emergency, I needed to find a specific tire as mine blew up on the road. It is an expensive one so I looked online. Walmart had the best price and time of delivery. I downloaded the app, created an account, even signed up for Walmart+. I got the notification that the tire had arrived at the store and was ready for pick-up. They did offer installation but needed an appointment and the earliest one was a week out, so I found another place to install it for me. I arrive at the store, get to the auto care center, talked to an associate and asked for my tire. He disappeared in the back for 10 minutes. He comes back and asks for my name and order number. I showed him the order with my name on the app. He goes again and disappears for 15 minutes. The tire shop to install my tire is about to close and I'm driving in my small spare. Still no tire. So I called customer service. They asked to talk to the associate but he had gone and disappeared again. Other customers are now lining up. I finally found another associate so she could talk to the rep on the phone. The associate did not speak English well enough to understand each other. Still no help. Still no tire. The shop to install it is already closed. I eventually requested an order cancellation, which the rep said he couldn't do and gave me another number to call. A complete waste of my time, money and effort. Walmart employs the lowest IQ individuals, completely inept and incompetent. I cancelled my subscriptions, deleted my account, deleted the app and will never shop at this Walmart again. read more

The "order online and pickup in store" process was a mess; they weren't good at navigating customers to retrieving their purchases. The product I ordered was damaged. A hole price was broken off of it. Shouldn't someone inspect boxes that have been previously opened? It was an hour of wasted time and aggravation for me and I have no intentions on returning to that location. Walmart is always very packed! Low prices but usually low quality environment. Produce is at times rotting in packages. Like for example I noticed that the tomatoes were green and fuzzy on part of it. Masks are recently required. They do not wipe down carts before passing them on to people. This review pertains to the pharmacy which we had the misfortune to have to deal with today due to my mother who's visiting from another state and she ran out of her blood pressure medication. She called Friday, gave all her information and they confirmed that the medication would be ready in an hour. We arrived about four hours later and they told us that they had actually run out of that medication and that it wouldn't be ready until three days later. "Well, why didn't we get a phone call saying as much?" "oh... Ask the head pharmacist" "Well, where is he?" She went over there, a few words were exchanged, he looked up at us and couldn't obviously be bothered because she came back and said: "Sorry, there's nothing that can be done" "We understand that but why couldn't we get a phone call to go somewhere else instead, you can't work something out with another Walmart?" "Ummmm.. yeah, the medication isn't available..." An apology was never given, no offer to call the order to another walmart was never made. This is my regular Walmart to go to! The staff isn't very attentive but they always have what I need for my groceries and at a reasonable rate you can't complain! They have self check out which is a big deal for me, I haven't had any issue in coming to this Walmart besides it can get a bit busy on the weekends particularly Sunday night. The reason why is because of its proximity to UCF so it's a lot of college kids. Also this Walmart has a McDonald's in which I think it's a plus. read more

I bought some tires thru their Black Friday deals. Normally I have not used Walmart for tires. however, Tire pricing was so good and I need them for my car. So I ordered them online had them sent to this store. Called made an appointment for Saturday at 8am. Arrived and was told 3 people had called out and it would take longer. Don't like it, but can it is what it is. So I wait....... an hour after my appointment I find out they skipped me for some reason. New guy behind the counter starts hustling and we locate the tires and he helps get my car completed. Once the car was brought in it did take a long time to get 4 tires changed. Asked the customer desk and they said you have to go to the contactless pickup spots and check in via app, they can't just give it to me there for whatever reason. I've visited this Walmart several times. It's sometimes hard to find someone to help you look for something; but the building is always clean for the most part, and well organized. I usually like to grocery shop at this location or buy my flowers. The fruit seems to be fresh every time I buy it at this location. The cool thing about this Walmart is they will price match you, which is always nice! I have found several items that aren't priced correctly, or I tell them another store has it for cheaper and they don't hesitate to ring up that item at the price you stated! I make a lot of jokes about how you go to Target to pay a little more to avoid a whole lot of Walmart. That said, the staff here at this location are exceptionally nice. I've had a few (I don't really go in many Wally's and won't probably ever now that they have the 2 day shipping thing) occasions to head in and I was actually quite pleased with the staff here. The sad part about bagging on Walmart is it is more on the customers than the store itself in many instances. However, it does get messy and the lines are often long. That's on the store. read more
