Here's the thing about Bloomingdale's. It can, absolutely be a store that's too pricey for words. As a matter of fact, when I was growing up, bloomingdales was known for two things: 1. Only rich people could shop there 2. Splash the mermaid learned how to speak English there in less than a day So, it wasn't until a co-worker of mine told me she got a beautiful Karl Lagerfeld dress for less than $50 at a super sale they were having that I finally decided to step foot in this place. Turns out she was right. I ended up getting a very beautiful dress myself for around the same price. Since then, I've gone quite a number of times. Heck, I took my mom there the last time she was in town, and she had the same attitude I use to have at first. She kept telling me: "No mi'ja, that place is too expensive! Why would you go there?" Until we hit that sales rack and I got her a very elegant, and beautiful shirt for a fraction of the original price. Now, in order to find these gems, you HAVE to be willing to spend time looking around, but I promise it'll be worth it, but I mean, if you want to pay an exorbitant amount, you can find that quite easily too. On a side note, they have a coffee/juicebar on the first floor in case all that shopping works up a thirst. read more

4 Stars for a department store that is verrrrry pricey, but you get what you pay for! I am normally far too "thrifty" to shop at Bloomingdales, but on two occasions needed a dress last minute and needed it to be impressive. Luckily, I happened to shop there during their 40% off friends and family sale this second time and only had to sell one kidney to afford the dress I bought. A few thoughts: - The staff is friendly and very attentive. The sections are broken up by designer, but everyone is open to helping get a fitting room started or searching for a random dress you saw online. I even had to ask someone to zip my up into a dress and they were totally cool about it. - I love the fitting rooms on the second floor. They've been painted by local artists to give some kind of affirmative quotes. - They I've a one year return policy as long as you keep one big, bulky tag on the garment. One year seems a bit overkill, but is after shop for you. read more

I love Bloomingdale's. Trendy quality stuff but reasonably priced. Whatever - I shop here. Last time I was in the store Catherine checked me out. Super sweet. Saw her again today. She's a doll. Today Ngolela helped me out while wedding party outfit shopping with the dressing room, recommendations, and checking me out. She's very nice and was thankful to have her as a shopping buddy today. Both girls are great. Lucky you have such a friendly, sweet staff. That's not always the easiest to find. I ended up coming back because I forgot Spanx. Had never worn them before and Nina Hutchins was totally helpful. We found my correct size quickly and it wasn't as stressful of a process as I thought it would be. Apparently there are no personal shoppers at this location as there are at other Bloomingdales. I called the store's main number and no on answered. I went to dresses asking if there were personal shoppers and was told that anyone could help me. I asked to be called to schedule for the next Friends and Family sale but never received a call. I purchased a new wardrobe of over $3,000 elsewhere. read more

Two story anchor location at Millennia Mall. This location is always clean and well organized. They have staff everywhere and they are always quick to greet people and offer assistance. I was on the hunt for makeup and candles and walked through the makeup area to see what was on offer. They have tons of brand name options from Chanel to Dior to Tom Ford. Depending on what you liked they most likely have it. They rarely have sale or discounts on perfume so if you are a bargain hunter, this store probably isn't for you. In the upside the outlets are around the corner from the mall! Overall: A Clean and well stocked with the expected brand name jazz. read more

Just like location, location, location, is very important - so is customer service. This particular Bloomingdale's - located within the Millenia Mall in Orlando - is very lacking in customer service personnel. In the area with family and friends, I stopped at Bloomingdale's as I had a gift card that had been burning a hole in my pocket for almost 2 years. Use it or loose it they say. And not necessarily the value of the card, but the actual card itself. I spent almost 15 minutes in the men's skincare section waiting on someone to help me with a purchase. At one point, I even had someone paged. Another 5 minutes before someone arrived to help me. At least my kids had a good time running wild through the store. No one around to say anything to them... This is the second time I've had to leave a negative review for this location for bad service and it's to the point that I'd rather drive to the location in Aventura than return here... such rude associates all around. Last time it was in the women's department and this time it was in perfume/cosmetics. I'm done giving this location my business, save yourself the hassle and find the brands you like elsewhere. I wouldn't normally think to review a department store but this Bloomies is the bomb.com! Outside of coming here for the usual shopping spree this location hosts such fabulous events! Who would have thought, an event inside a clothing store?? I've now been to 2 of Bloomingdale's events. The first being an influencer dinner which was hosted in the Home Decor section of the store. It's was fantastic! They partnered with a local brand The Dinner Party Project and Earls Kitchen whipped up an amazing meal. The influencers sat at 3 gorgeously decorated dining room tables that were stationed in various parts of the store. We chatted about branding, social media, fashion, food and rounded out the evening with a goody bag so awesome ladies would likely fight over it if there weren't enough for everyone. But don't worry there were plenty ;) The second event was one I went to last night. Bloomies worked with the Orlando Arts District to "Entertain Your Brain With Art" and transformed all of their fitting rooms on the second floor into masterpieces created by Orlando's finest. It was fantastic. They did a mix and mingle with complimentary light bites and cocktails and then led everyone on a tour of all of the dressing rooms. You were able to chat with the artists and hear the inspiration behind their creation. Not only does this store sell all the best brands but they make a serious effort to connect to their local community and that's what I love to see in a store that I'm going to spend my money in. read more

Love this store. Granted I can not afford to shop here, but I love the store. I was browsing the store as I was going to a dinner in a restaurant near by and had time to kill. The store is nicely decorated including the entrances to the restrooms. Nice relaxing armchairs with beautiful wall paintings. It is Bloomingdale's after all. There were several employees who approached my friend and myself to make sure we did not need assistance. Not overbearingly either. Good customer service. The gowns were gorgeous. They had several spring items out already and they were just lovely. Bright and airy colors with bags and shoes to match. I love that they had the whole outfit together to show what it would look like. Actually they were having what I thought was a good sale going on. You just need to be a smart shopper to shop here and you can find a good bargain. I know I will be back. 37/365 in 2017 challenge read more

This is my favorite department store in Orlando! They carry great quality name brands from clothes and shoes to items for your home. Yes, these name brands come with a high price tag, but other than Chanel cosmetics, I have not once paid full price here. I'm here to tell you, they have some really awesome sales! I've purchased countless items here for my home: dishes, Wusthof knives, silverware, sheets and towels, just to name a few. Really great prices on everything! The dishes are a 12 piece setting with hostess completer set and I picked them up for $99. If memory serves me correctly, I paid $149 for my 10 piece Wusthof knives which run around $400 at Williams and Sonoma. I've grabbed Ralph Lauren sheets and towels when the sale price was comparable to off-brand sheets and towels you can get from Walmart or Target. I love when they have sales on their shoes and they have some major sales. Once I got a pair of Coach shoes for $30 some odd dollars which were originally over $100. One person mentioned the poor customer service here. I've never had bad service, persay. The employees have always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, there have been several occasions when I've had to go in search of someone to help me. Maybe they are just understaffed? It's never bothered me though because when I've had to go to another department in search of assistance, they always get someone from the department I need quickly and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. I never know what I'll find here. I come to Bloomies often to just look around with no intent on purchasing anything. Usually I'll find a really great deal and walk out with a Big Brown Bag anyway! I had two wonderful experiences here at Bloomingdale's! One day I forgot my Hermès Apple Watch in the fitting room and didn't realize over a week. I went to customer service as soon as I figured out I left it there. Yes! They had it! I was so happy that I found it! On the way back to the parking my boyfriend and I went through the jewelry section and I saw a cute little diamond necklace. Since it was a week before Valentine's Day my boyfriend bought a necklace for me. My sales associate was Michelle and she was very helpful, kind and sweet! She explained to me about the story behind Roberto Coin collection and I just fell in love with it! I wanted to wear my necklace at a choker length so needed to adjust the length of it. She was very nice about it and also got it done by next day and shipped it over night for me! Unfortunately the length was wrong and had to go back but I got it back within a few hours and just because i had to go back to the mall again I got an extra gift from my boyfriend! Haha Anyway I prefer Bloomingdale's over Neiman Marcus. I never had a good experience at Neiman Marcus but I have never shopped at Bloomingdale's because of the location. However now I know where to shop! Oh and I got $200 reward because we shopped during the promotion! I feel super lucky! read more

I've been here several times before i decided to write this review. I use to get my Clinique face wash items from here but getting ignored 3 times is enough. I've been here on several different occasions. I go looking for my items and when I have a question about something there is no one there. One lady seen me waiting while she was helping a customer and said nothing. I'm not asking her to stop assisting her first customer, I just wanted her to acknowledge me by saying "Ma'am I'll be right with you after this customer and thank you for your patience"......instead I got her back turned toward me and she was 6 ft away from me. Just rude. I've had other experiences like this as well in here. Also they don't have a big perfume/cologne selection as Macy's. If you are at The Mall of Millenia and you are going through the front entrance of the mall, go right (Macy's) not left (Bloomingdales). read more

I went here on a Sunday at 6pm and they close at 7pm. I only went to get a swimsuit. After finally finding the only small they had. I waiting 20 minutes for her to try to ring up the swim suit. I ordered one online in a small but she couldn't figure it out and I had to move to another register. They had to ring up the online and the one thing I got at the store in different transactions which added more time to already at this point 30 minutes of buying a swim suit. Once she was finally done since it was 7:10 they locked me in the store. I had to walk all the way around outside the store because they would only open one door on the opposite side of the mall. I bought a $100 swimsuit for the worst customer service ever. I would recommend Macy's over this place any day. read more

I love Bloomies as much as the next girl, but this store is not up to par with the rest of the chain. The service is awful. There are so many empty checkout desks and registers with no one behind it. There are always long lines to check out when you finally find someone behind a register. The contemporary woman's section is usually a mess. The dressing rooms typically are filled with clothes with leftovers from the person who used the room before you. The woman's dress section is pretty limited. Also, the store is smaller than other Bloomingdales. I love the new juice bar though! read more

I placed an order online on a Friday before 5pm. The website gave me an option to pick up my purchase at a local store and noted that if I placed my order before 5pm I could pick it up in store. I called the store to make sure they had the item and then placed my order. My order confirmation stated that the estimated pickup date was on the same day. So I made my way to the store expecting the order to be ready by the time I got there. There seemed to be a lot of confusion when I arrived. It appears this way of same-day pickup is a new thing. I was told to go up to Customer Service to pick up my order, but when I arrived the guy did not have any package waiting for me. I asked whether I could go downstairs to just get the item since I've already paid for it. He assumed I could, so I was sent back downstairs again. He was not very enthusiastic about helping me to resolve the issue. Once I got downstairs and spoke to an associate, they had no idea what to do. So we finally went back upstairs with the item to work with customer service again. This time around, a more helpful and enthusiastic lady worked with me to resolve the issue. It turns out that the store and online shop are on different systems (well duh) and someone in the fulfillment center needed to process the order, then the store would be notified. Whoever was at the fulfillment center had already gone for the day, so that is why the store had no idea about my order. We ended up canceling my initial online order and I bought the item at the store. I think I caused all the trouble myself, but most of the people at the store were helpful (except the first guy at customer service) and resolved the issue. The worst place to order. I called customer service almost 2 months ago because I have rewards I wanted to claim which their online website will not give you credit for. My order was declined after a month of waiting. I called again a week ago to redo the order... again with customer service that is very difficult to understand. They were supposed to overnight my order. Until now I still did not get my and its been 2 weeks. I called again early this morning and got the automated system. Placed the order number I received via email from Bloomingdale's to get an order status and it is not there. I will be calling them now the 3RD TIME! worst place to shop!!!! Called the 3rd time and called the millenia mall store this time to place the order. Went there with a friend, she was looking for a pair of jeans. We couldn't find her size, then we couldn't find a sales rep.... I looked everywhere, waited at least 5 minutes for no one to be found! I could not believe it! I had to walk all the way to the men's department to find somebody else that finally looked for the girl in charge of the denim department. I didn't think I would get that kind of service at Bloomies. Very disappointing. They didn't have her size in any of the pairs my friend liked. Very frustrating! read more

I've stopped in here a few times over the years when visiting Millenia, but I never usually stay that long. My sister is getting married soon and this is one of the places she registered, so since I had some free time on my hands I decided to drive down an peruse the options. After climbing my way to the third floor I started to assess the situation. I'm one of those people who likes to use the registry as a suggestion but have a lot more fun finding something to complement the couple. And not to boast, but I'm usually pretty good at it. In this case, my (future) brother in law and I have very similar tastes so I picked something from the registry but found some espresso cups as well. They registered for an espresso machine, but failed to register for cups!! The third floor is expansive and most of the areas are clearly marked. The registry desk is tucked away in a corner so I didn't find it until after I had already logged into the website to peruse they're website. Bloomie's does have wifi, but it's not the fastest, so do yourself a favor and find the desk. There were a few sales ladies on the floor, but I had gotten there shortly after they opened, so there weren't too many people walking around. No biggie for me as I like being left to my own devices. read more

Nice store but the service is spotty. Sometimes I get the five star treatment, sometimes the associates don't even know which day it is. Some seasoned associates there are professional and extremely helpful whether you're spending or not. But others are borderline incompetent. Went looking for fine jewelry today. The salesman with whom I worked previously was busy, so I was handed off to someone else. She didn't really have much information and wasn't very personable, sweet as she was. At least she asked someone for help, but he didn't know what was going on either. Finally then the manager stepped in and my experience got much better. I'm not a fan of the corporation that owns Bloomingdales and Macy's, but at least Bloomingdales maintains some level of customer service. It really depends on the sales person here. The strength here is in the selection of designers and merchandise. You get an incredible range of choices, especially in women's clothes. Their home goods department is a cross between the practicality of a Macy's and the "something special" element you would find at a Neiman Marcus, although not as upscale or unique. This is a solid store, but not exceptional. It's beautiful and clean, and a pleasant enough experience to make it worth the drive. read more

I like to say this's the store I shop for years. I love everyone working there except this guy representing Hermes cologne working at the floor there and this's True story I spent a lot of money at this store and hermes cologne my favorite for years and yers but this guy is very rude and very unprofessional with very very bad attitude and always treat me and my family very bad and if there's free gift with our products he refuses to give to us and for sure because our names and one of the people working at the store told us this's clearly he don't like you guys. The funny thing I went to the division manager and complained about this guy 2 times and I told him I will let everyone know you have person like this with this behaviors working on your floor and nothing happen. Yesterday I went at store and I spent a lot of money buying Armani staff and some other staff for my wife and I went to buy hermes cologne for 500$ and it's clear we are at the season of gifts and it had a lot of gift items and he told the girl working there no gifts to us. 500 hermes cologne every month and he refused yesterday to give me gift. I have to let everyone know this's 2017 and we still have people think this way specially in Big store like this. Bloomys is my favorite store and I come to this one while visiting Orlando since we don't have one here in Las Vegas. Bought some Michael Kors shoes here last week as an Xmas gift for myself and the staff was super nice accommodating when I wanted to wear them out of the store LOL. read more

I used to work in the Millenia Mall and ended up falling in love with Bloomingdales. I am pretty sure I would shop there more than I shopped at the store I worked at! The women's section always has great sales including Aqua and Free People. I am actually pretty sure that eventually everything goes on sale (so keep an eye out for your favorite items)! I am not sure how to begin talking about the shoe section. I am basically friends with everyone who works there. They always let me know when things I like are on sale. I really love all of the employees in that department. Not too aggressive and always always willing to help! Another department with great sales is the handbags! Every now and then there are some great items on the handbag clearance tables! And don't worry about getting hungry when you shop- there is a delicious ice cream store right at the entrance. I'm not a super sweet lover, but their treats are always unique and very rewarding after a long day of kick-ass shopping!! Pretty sure I can live at this Bloomingdales. read more

My daughter and I were shopping in Bloomingdales/Millenia Mall (Orlando) this afternoon (I in the Mens dept, she in the Aqua Depot upstairs). While I was looking in the the Hugo Boss dept I notice 4-5 sales people chatting in the dept, it was 3pm/store not busy (note my closet at home is full of Hugo Boss) not 1 person walked up to ask me if I needed help. I continued over to the John Varvatos shop and tried a couple jackets on - again no one approached me. Finally, I rec'd a hello when I tried on a Burberry Jacket as a side note from a sales person going to dial the phone. I finally left and went upstairs out of frustration and to meet my daughter. As we were leaving after my daughter bought several items in the Aqua dept and said "the service here is horrible" and continued to explain "I was walking around with an arm full of clothes looking for a fitting room and several sales people passed me and not 1 asked if I could get you a fitting room". I had not told my daughter yet what I experienced downstairs. This is obviously a STORE MANAGERS PROBLEM - it is in more than 1 dept. BTW, we walked down to the Hugo Boss store where I bought several items - never be back at Bloomingdales - they need to get it right - its called customer service. read more

Bloomingdales overall have a good customer service but it's pretty expensive to shop there. My husband and I started looking around to buy my wedding ring and band, and we meet Patrick. A clean and solid choice for shopping. The range of brands is great. There's is a range of products, spread out in a pleasing manner. When I encountered the staff, they were normal sales associates. However, it felt like a JCP or a Macy's, not like a Bloomingdales. It was our first time shopping there, and we couldn't find what we were looking for and a fitting room and there was not an employee in sight when we needed them. I ended up finding a great color. I wish I remembered the sales girl's name, because she was so kind, and very patient.
