Thought I died and went to teenager prom heaven. Gowns, gowns, ball gowns as far as the eyes can see. I fantasized myself in them, but do you know at what point reality smacks you in the face and punches you in the gut? When you tell yourself "WTF I am too old to wear these!" Yes, ouch. But that didn't stop me from looking and appreciating all the fashion. This 5-star rating was on the sheer amount and selection of ball/prom gowns stretching as far as the eyes/wallet could see. I'm from Hawaii and I've never seen such an extensive display of formal wear. I'm thinking it's because Florida also has a large Spanish population where Quinceanera plays a role in the need for fancy garb as well. Another reason this 5-star rating is in place is because of the luggage. The actual reason we were here was to buy another suitcase (not to look at gowns). We already had one full-sized suitcase, but had to buy another one. Why, you ask? Because I bought too many gifts for others. Because the 80's Cruise gave us too many free swag, including two back-pack cooler chairs (not complaining), because I purchased three pairs of shoes, because I went to Goodwill in Ft Lauderdale and purchased 5 dresses, because on the 80's Cruise I gathered enough candy and swag to bog us down by 10 pounds. The sales lady was super nice and helped me with a cheery disposition. Macy's has always been a go-to for luggage on sale, and a large selection. I was going to go to TJ Maxx or Marshall's, but I cannot find a consistent supply of Delsey Luggage, my favorite. I took a picture of the Delsey Florence Luggage as a cool feature, but I can't do a see-through suitcase, it would be too much of a pain trying to hide my bags of Mike's Hot Honey popcorn from TSA and luggage handlers. read more

As we walked around the store, we encountered other store employees who were also friendly and willing to help us find what we were looking for or eager to assist with a sale. I had to drive to this location, due to needing to return a Christmas present. This is the closest Macy's to me, and it's my favorite. It's not around the corner, but gave my mom and I the excuse to get out of the house. When we arrived, we pulled into the parking lot and found a spot. I definitely underestimated the amount of people that were at this location. Obviously a lot of people are in Orlando for vacation, people are also returning Christmas gifts, and shopping. First we went to the jewelry counter, so I could return the ring I received. I was planning on exchanging it for a larger size, but unfortunately they had none in the store or online. I took some time to check out the different jewelry counters to see if there was anything I wanted to exchange the item for, but nothing was speaking to me. The woman who helped me was nice and quickly handled the return. We then spent some time walking around the three floors of Macys. I will say, this wasn't a fruitful trip. The sales they had going on before Christmas were much better than the sales they had going on after Christmas. We wound up leaving with no purchases. read more

Macy's can definitely vary from mall to mall and even in their stand alone locations. This Macy's is on of my favorite to go to for a variety of reasons. The 3rd Floor - This is where I spend most of my time here. They have all the cool kitchen stuff, luggage, some furniture and other stuff too. I miss the Nespresso Boutique where you could go and get some Joe to wake you up. Sales - When they have sales, you can really find some great deals, especially if you have a Macy's card. Size - This is one of the larger Macy's in the area. It has 3 floors and is pretty expansive. Finding a restroom can be a challenge, but if you crap your pants, you can buy new ones! People - I've found the people working here (and most Macy's) to be helpful, especially during check-out when looking for additional deals. The Mall - The Mall itself is awesome too. So when you're at Macy's, you can also visit many other stores to find things you may not find at the Macy's. read more

Employees at MAC and Chanel are racist against covered women..... My wife and sister had an appointment at MAC that was confirmed weeks ago, today when we walked in, we had very different answers, first employee said the appointments at 11:30, then we came back, the manager and the other employee said they don't take appointments, and very busy because they have two waiting at the counter and one another appointment at 12:00, so I asked YOU JUST TOLD ME YOU DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENT ONLY WALK-INS, but now you are saying you have an appointment at 12:00, BS. I came back at 12:00 and the employee is taking care of non covered woman. Chanel said they don't have anyone to do the makeup, but 10 minutes later she is taking care of another non covered woman. read more

I had a personal shopping appointment with Christina that was phenomenal. To be honest, I thought I would have a few "misses" to return once I got home and did a fashion show for my family. Every single piece was a win. Christina really took the time to understand my needs and help me fit my body. It's not easy! I'm two different sizes for top and bottom. Christina knew what would work and I enjoyed the big smile when something I put on was right on the money and flattering. The only problem I faced was that the Spring collection wasn't fully out yet and so I will need to go back to get less wintery bottoms. Christina offered to help a second time- why wouldn't I? I've never been a fan of Macy's but my husband wanted to go look at their suits for work. Upon walking in I was actually impressed by the vibes & Christmas decor. I needed to use the bathroom while we were there and when I went to wash my hands, out of the 10 soap dispensers there wasn't a single drop of soap. Not only could I not wash my hands but that means that all the female employees in there are walking around with filthy hands. Also, the battery for their smoke detector in the men's section needs to be changed because it was beeping. read more

Not recommended in any way whatsoever. They are a mess,and they know it ... but do little to correct the errors. This seems to be a challenge at multiple Florida locations. Loyalty program errors on offers are an expected thing for several years. Sizes are jumbled. On occasion, luggage will have a sign "See associate for pricing" which (to me) makes no sense. Some sale tags will show Original Price higher than what is printed on the original tag right there. Sales associates at registers can also clearly show an attitude of I Don't Care. I suggest you shop elsewhere. This location could be on borrowed time. I'd like to see it go away. read more

The millenia mall Macy's is where usually come to shop so this time around we came to do our annual late Christmas shopping, and we had quite a few items to purchase. We wanted to get as much out of our discounts, thankfully we found a very helpful Lady named Hong at the children's department. She was very knowledgeable and patient and helped us check out our big purchase, getting as much for our buck! I wish all the staff at Macy's enjoyed their jobs as much as she does! Walked around the second floor twice looking for a fitting room. One was completely full, two were not but the sales associates working the fitting rooms were unwilling to make eye contact, let alone speak, and all rooms were locked. Not a great experience. read more

Due to this lovely Florida winter my boyfriend and I needed to invest in some winter coats. The women's area had a section filled with different coats from different high end brands and all of them were discounted 50% off. That was an awesome deal since most of them were easily over $200. I picked a lovely wool peacoat and then we made our way to the men's area downstairs. My boyfriend wanted a peacoat as well and that was found in the men's suit area. That is also where we met Mr. Geiner. He was a very attentive sales associate who measured my boyfriend for the best fitting, answered all of our questions and even gave great recommendations. Now, the men's area offered 60% off their coats with an additional 15-25% on top of that. So my boyfriend got a ridiculously nice coat at an amazing rate and thanks to Mr. Geiner it was a smooth process. The level of customer service he offered is the kind of service you want in any establishment. read more

Macy's is a store I frequent and in my opinion is the last great bastion of that wonderful tradition of the department store. Macy's is an iconic American brand, their parade is renowned, and they have become a fixture of the American landscape. But they are certainly not just an establishment living on their laurels. This particular location is located in the upscale Mall at Millennia and has three stories to indulge your shopping urge. I strongly recommend shopping at Macy's. This store has really gone downhill since it opened years ago. I used to enjoy shopping there and sampling the Nespresso coffee bar upstairs. Sadly, they no longer offer this and I miss it. It was so convenient for dropping off my recycled pods, trying different blends, and buying coffee. What a shame for both companies. As for the store itself, why is it so hot in there during the Summer???? Yes, it's Florida and it's very hot outside. Other stores manage to keep their stores cool, so why can't they? Macy's - Entrance - Department Stores Near Me - Orlando, Florida

So disappointed in Macy's as a brand. What happened to Macy's being a shopping destination? At the store 45 minutes after it opened and not presentable, this is not how you open your doors to your clients. The lack of Major brands is alarming. The amount of clothes I saw on the floor tells me the staff does not take pride in the establishment. This all lends to poor management and corporate taking profits and cutting back on the labor force. This is a poor representation of a once grand brand Macy's. I have noticed the decline in Macy's for several years but this is horrible. When corporate is making profits and does not present its brand it tells me you are not putting your client first. Clothes on the floor, broken tile, exposed floor electric plugs, broken doors, broken floor trim from carpet to tile, broken door knobs, escalator not working and no warning sign (OSHA) violations just piling up. Not having product. I went to 3 major beauty brands and was told you where out of a staple product.? What the what is going on and how do you allow this to happen. Maybe thats why you are in the process of replacing your CFO. Lets hope the new leadership values the shopping experience as much as profits. read more

I had some time to kill between errands and stopped by Macy's in the Mall of Millenia. They had a big sign at the entrance to wear a face mask with a hand sanitizer station next to it. I arrived moments before they opened and the hand sanitizer was empty. The store was nicely organized by designer. I found a lovely pair of everyday heels in the shoe department. No sales were listed but I bought them anyway. The sales associate was overly quite and did not make eye contact but she did bring the shoes out quickly from the storage room and moved to the cash register at lightening speed. read more

The hesitation of offered services and lack of pleasantries were enough for me. The selection was varied however for the cost I think the value did not match their merchandise. Macy's is not really a shopping destination anymore. They don't answer the phone at the Mall of Millenia location. This store has better housewares and the Florida Mall location is better for clothing. This store has a Nespresso coffee boutique on the third floor. That said I think their brick and mortar is now almost an extension of their website and the service is commensurate with that experience. When you walk in the door you see all these signs with huge percentages off but I find the best deals in their "Last Act" areas. Each department has their own clearance outlet section and coupons will not apply to this merchandise. Years ago they would ship this to an outlet but now they host it in store in the Last Act racks. These items are close to or at the lowest Macy's price. You have two weeks to return these items for a refund and no further discounts apply. Many times I promise myself I will only look but then I find something that is such a deal. The clothing price reductions are great especially at the change of the season. Intermediate mark downs may have occurred but you can tell if it is last act because the blue markdown tag says last act. The dressing rooms are open and I prefer to purchase exactly what fits me so I am hoping these Macy's locations survive. read more

Large, two-story location that's an anchor at Millenia Mall in Orlando. They have tons and tons of merch here and it's easy to spend a bit of time looking through all that's on offer. I especially love the shoe section and MAC store here. They regularly have shoe clearance racks that have a good number of options. I wear a larger shoe size, being on the tall side. I've gotten some real deals here with the discounts. I love the MAC store in here, it's a small location but it has all the normal product and there are several staff members manning it, so getting personalized attention here is pretty easy. Overall: A Plenty of options for anyone! Check sale and clearance racks for deals. read more

I love this particular Macy's! They always have such great sales going on. Even if I just walk in to browse around, I always find something. I don't think I've ever walked out of here without making some kind of purchase. I'm also really big into Coach bags and they have a huge selection here. Again, they often have Coach bags on sale and sometimes on clearance. I picked up a $400 bag here once for $50. Now that's a steal! If you like Coach, make Macy's a regular stop if you're at Millenia just to see what sales they may have going on. Once, I found a Dooney bag on sale here I knew a friend of mine would have to have, but she wasn't coming in from Jacksonville until the next day. I sent a picture text to her of the bag and I was right... she absolutely wanted it. Since it was the last one, the sales woman was kind enough to hold it for my friend until she arrived in town the next day. No matter what department I'm in, I never have trouble finding assistance if I need it and the sales associates have always been friendly and helpful. Great job, Macy's.... Keep it up! read more

A huge Macy's, in a HUGE mall. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. I specifically came to look at their lingerie department, to help a friend out with bras (Yes, it's a reoccuring theme with me.. ) and was not thrilled with their selection. Their department was shoved off into the back corner, not well organized and quite frankly - even though there was a sale going on, the floor staff seemed as though they could not be bothered to be helping, except to ring stuff up. We did find what we were looking for, but not through anyone's help but our own. read more

Ok. So here I am writing about a 7-eleven. Why? It's really not so great, but location and most clientele aren't horrible. I've never ever felt unsafe here, just to be clear. So......what's the beef? It's a combination of 3 factors: 1: bathrooms are bad...:I'm talking downtown Orlando 7-eleven nasty bathrooms 2: the store is rarely at proper stock levels and if you go in around 1am or after you'll see the fresh delivered stuff sits on the floor.....if come back in the am it's usually still sitting there on the floor in the same spot. I only mention this because on 2 occasions they were out of an item but I could see it in their delivery stuff and both times they told me that stuff was hands off until further notice. I'm sorry.....what did you say to me? 3: 50/50 employees. Either good or terrible; there is no middle ground. I've had a girl throw $10 in ones (cash back) because after waiting in line over 5 minutes she decided her friend should go in front of me. I said no thanks I'm next and she flipped out. I didn't want to return for a long time and when I did I've yet to seen her since then. Hopefully they have replaced her with someone l less volatile. So....not so great. There are some good ones in SE Orlando but that's there and this is here. You can go in and you'll be safe. They just aren't up to par. read more

I placed an online order on 10/6/22. Received text and email stating order would be delivered 10/7/22. Today is 10/9/22 and all tracking information states due to arrive 10/7.....spoke to Jen who just kept apologizing. Told her I need to cancel my order that is still in a UPS facility in TN as of 6:56am om 10/7. She was not able to do that and I then spoke to Nathan (supposed supervisor) who assured me YOUR ORDER WILL BE AT YOUR ADDRESS ON OCTOBER 17TH. Yes, that's correct 10 days from date of order. And, no he couldn't cancel it either. All items will be returned along with mt credit card cut up. So disappointing but now I understand why they are closing so many stores. read more

I had just visited the Louis Vuitton store nearby and walked into this Macy's to see if there was anything here to buy. I love shopping at Macy's, because I have had a long history of buying with them because I like the clothing they sell and the service they provide. I have been noticing, though, that not all Macy's are created equal. Some are better than others. In regards to this Macy's, is possibly the largest I have ever walked into (3 stories)... nice decorated store. Unfortunately it seems that it lacks any sale options, everything is marked at full price and honestly more expensive than I have seen in other stores... must be geared for tourists. read more
