Was at the Men's check out booth. Waited 10 minutes just to have the casher tell the couple in front of me that they he had to recheck everything because of a "card." I only had one item I needed to purchase. Instead of offering an apology, he snuffed it off. I left the line and the item behind. He yells, "Thank you sir. Have a nice day." My response, "You're not welcome for your insincerity and apparently my money is also not welcomed." An apology could have worked. Calling for help would have been best. Yes I went today to shop for house furniture and bedding. I have to say I came in contact with a handful of employees there and Debbie in the bedding department stood out the most. Very polite, informative, patient, professional, and just outright top-of-the-line employee. Need more like her within Macy's. read more

OMG! Christina Macy's Personal Wardrobe Stylist is AMAZING!! I've avoided buying clothes cause I've gained so much weight. I could never find a size that fit me right. I'd have my husband come and help me and we'd end up in a fight. Lol. I've never used a stylist before, but I felt desperate, so I booked an appointment. Christina interviewed me to understand what I like, and get some basic information. I didn't even know what size I was. Christina took me "shopping" with an empty rack, which filled with brands that she knew well. Besides style, she was careful on the cut of a garment and how it would look on me She spent 3 hours working with me. All no charge!! She wasn't a pushy sales person, and would tell me if something was a hit or if it was a miss. She also educated me so I could shop better myself. But I have no intention of ever shopping by myself with her there to help!!! Thank you Macy's for taking care of your customers so well! Forget online clothes shopping, I'm sticking to Macy's!! Picked up an online order the other day and the store itself is immaculate. I couldn't believe it was a Macy's. However, a pleasant environment does not outshine lousy service. Leroy at the "at your service" section spoke as if he was reading a script and was overall pretty unfriendly. I will likely not return to this location. read more

When comparing the Macy's at Westshore and this one then you will want to come here only. Much cleaner large, two-story location. they have plenty of items to shop here. My wife like the dresses and so that is where we spent our time. They have nice deals and clearance areas all over. For this mall it is one of the best deals to shop. read more

A fancier Macy's location as it is part of the mall at Millennia. They frequently have sales and the store is pretty expansive. I generally do not need much help with anything so I cannot comment on how the service is at this location. They have multiple floors and their own Starbucks cafe right inside the store. It is also connected to the mall on the 2nd floor so if you need additional stores, it's easily accessible. read more

This Macy's has to be the worst I have ever dealt with. Not once, not twice but THREE times I have ordered online for pick-up at this location and order is never completed in the timeframe specified online. I understand in our times of technology glitches occur, orders may be missed, more people are dependent on systems completing orders but when you have HUMANS who refuse to actually check on order status, commit to true customer service and do what they were hired to do, there is where the problem lies!! I gave two stars for the folks in cosmetics because I have never encountered an issue when purchasing makeup or perfume. Other departments could use some real customer service training! read more

They have really cute dresses (my sister is obsessed) but they don't have great size inclusions. And everything is undersized. Their size 14 is rlly a size 12. Would be wonderful if they just included more sizes. The higher sizes are in a bunch of cheap and ugly dresses, or really expensive(like $200+) and barely cute. read more

I love macy's this trip was to do returns only as the items I purchased online did not work. Two of the three items I had was for the kids dept of which I did not have a reciept. That was not a problem as the sales associate just swiped my card And scanned the item and it came up. No hassles no questions asked. A seamless returns. The next return was in the shoe dept again I had the receipt no questions asked And was done. I was in and out within 20 min. Love it also the sales associates I felt with on the clock an off the clock were amazing read more

Macys delivery is bad, in fact Macys people lie so much about delivery times that their noses are a mile long. First it was 10:30-12:30, then 2pm, then the drive had a heart attack and canceled his loads. Now I want to be a good person, but I found out the driver didnt have a heart attack he was running late and it was Saturday and wanted to get home. So, another lie? So here is the deal dont buy any furniture from Macys, they lie all the time about delivery. I waited an entire day, took off work and then they wanted me to take another day off work to get the delivery. I think Macys should at least offer a rebate for the lies. Dont buy from them unless you pick it up yourself otherwise its all lies. BTW: they outsource the delivery to other companies to save money. I wont be shopping at Macys every again. read more

For being in Millenia Mall you would think they would have better facilities. Ladies bathroom was a mess and not properly maintained. Reminded me of a restroom in a KMart. Tacky flyers taped all over the stalls and walls in restroom. You would never see something like this in Nordstrom or Saks. Ladies in fragrance were not very friendly, which was surprising considering it was Mothers Day weekend. read more

Macys Personal Stylist-Millenia Mall, Orlando, FL I hardly ever post reviews, but something has literally changed this formerly-only-online-whenever-possible shopper's life. And this is LONG, but I think many other women will relate to. I happened to walk into Macys at Millenia several months ago with my boyfriend, and somehow he wandered into a little room beside INC just to sit down for a few minutes while I was forced to shop for something in particular. I'm not in the greatest of moods when doing that, so he did the right thing. In there, he struck up a conversation with Christina Harvey, the resident Personal Stylist who explained to him that this was the room where Macys offers a personal stylist service which is a 100% free service. Yes, you heard me right...FREE. You will definitely want to buy the clothes she picks out for you though, but there's no obligation. I took her card and still waited a few months to call her, but I finally made an appointment after many particularly bad choices of some clothes I purchased online. I arrived for my appointment and had a consultation about what I like, (still cynical about how this would be because I've ordered from Stitch Fix, and Nordstrom stylists online, and no one could fit me correctly so I would have to send it all back, and I hate shipping stuff too lol). Then she took a large cart with us and we went shopping. I didn't have to carry anything. I didn't have to look through every single item of clothing on every rack. She knew where she was going and she knew what was available, what would fit my figure, what clothes were the style I asked for, and brought several sizes so I didn't have to get dressed multiple times and go switch something out. We took everything back to the special VIP-like, fancy fitting room that had a FAN in there (I am 50 years old, so not all of you will be so excited about that, but some of you will understand) and you could move around in. I tried everything on, and if it didn't fit, she went right back out and got another size for me. She evaluated the outfits and helped me put them together. She brought me water. It was glorious. I didn't get the "shopping headache" I always got before because I had spent 8 hours shopping, trying on item after item in a hot, tiny fitting room. I wasn't angry when I left because I couldn't find the right thing like I used to be. I got several pieces for work that I feel so amazing in, and now am not so hesitant to go out and see my customers (whereas before I felt frumpy and stayed behind my computer as much as possible). I honestly have a different take on work now, and feel like I am selling even more because of the air of confidence that wearing such cute and stylish clothes, has given me! I have worked with Christina twice now, and probably will never order clothes online or shop for myself again- as long as Christina can do this for me! Oh, and get this- she even got me a discount on EVERYTHING. Honestly, I hope that Christina knows that this service is so much more than just a personal styling service for clothes. I went Mother's day shopping at Macy's. I couldn't think of what to get my mom. However, I did picked up a whole bunch of random stuff I needed of course. My friend Lala & I would love to thank a few associates for their assistance. They went above & beyond the call of duty. Kiosha- Thanks for cleaning up the spill in the dressing room. Lala made a huge mess & you didn't make her feel like klutz she is. Kamila- You had patience with Lala & I when we took an hour to complete all of our transactions. Dolly- You are a Rock Star! Terrible customer service! I called the store that I wanted and instead kept getting customer service at a one 800 number. They would try to put me through and the phone just kept ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing and nobody picked up and eventually the call disconnected me. This has been going on now for two hours!!! This is horrible customer service! I am a platinum card member. I've been a customer of Macy's for a very long time and this is not acceptable behavior! The customer should not get a one 800 number when they're trying to reach the store. They should get a live person to transfer the call to the appropriate department in the store. Just like any other department stores around but with prices much higher, they do have lots of sales and the store is nice but to expensive for my taste. This entrance point thru Macy's is also good because you Can get in the mall easier but parking by Macy's is hard to find. read more

Came in to pick up a bathing suit so that we could go to aquatica. After searching for a while I found the one I wanted. When I was ready to cash out, I didn't really know which cash register I should go to, as there weren't really anyone standing at one, so I asked a man named David who was working at the jewelry counter if he could point me in the right direction. He told me to give him a second and to follow him as he needed a register that could remove the security pin from the bathing suit. We followed him for a minute or so to a different register. He proceeded to ring me out and told me to have a great day and to come back. David thank you very much for going beyond your duties to help me out rather than just sending me in search of someone else. read more

Macy's Is my jam and my jelly. I love the store simply because of the great deals I get on quality clothing. Last Act is my home. For those who don't know, last Act is the sections of the store where the clearance items are. Every department will have a last act section and that's where the magic happens. The clothing is so deeply discounted that it's crazy. Whenever I have a formal function like a wedding or something I always go to Macy's and look at their clearance Formal Wear. Why would you go anywhere else? I bought gowns that were originally $200 for $25! I just went the other day and bought a $285 heavily beaded beautiful gown for $68. I can't wait to wear it. Why you can't combine any coupons you have with last Act but they're plentiful coupons will make any full price item reasonable. Oh and their shoe sales are amazing. Everyone has their store that they frequent. For some its JCPenney's , for some it's Target. My sweet spot is Macy's. I suggest you give it a try. The Florida Mall location is good. The one at Fashion Square mall has a whole floor of last act items. The Mall of Millenia has a great selection of clothing. Try your luck and let me know how you do! read more

Restroom is not available to customers at all over the Macy's store?? Was going to shop at the store after restroom break, the sales staff said all restrooms are not working!! Update: it's been over a month and half and customer service says they refunded the money but I have to call my bank to see why it's not showing up on my end. My bank says a refund was never initiated. So I had to have my bank handle the matter and taking this charge off. read more

What the hell, Macy's! The holidays aren't even here yet and the store looks like Black Friday has come and gone already. I believe this is the newest Macy's in the Orlando area, and it always looks like crap. The fitting rooms are a mess with clothes strewn all over the floor. None of the doors lock, which makes trying on clothes stressful since you have to keep people from walking in on you. I've worked retail, so I understand there are busy times, but come on! This was a random Thursday evening in October. And not the only time I have gone to this location and dealt with the mess. Time to start staffing the ladies department. The sales floor is a junky mess. If I wanted to dig through racks I would have gone to TJ Maxx. I expect more of you, Macy's! read more

This Macy's really never disappoints. I always find *something*. The sale racks are plentiful, though sometimes they seem to be full of clothes I'd never really wear. The last time I was here, I "checked in" via Facebook and got an extra 20% off at the register, which was nice because I couldn't find anything on clearance I liked. read more

This is probably the best department store in the city. Huge selection of designer and ordinary brand clothing. And they run massive sales all the time. $$ Cha-CHING $$ You can usually compound sales prices with coupons in the mail to get items for sometimes up to 90% off. There's a woman working in the Polo section who is so hot! I think she went on her lunch break around 12 today. Didn't get her name or relationship status. :( I found some sweet suede shoes in dark green I may go back for. The lady in that department was nice enough. She was climbing all over the seats trying to influence me to buy something. This store would be a 5 if it got rid of all the goddamn golfer wear, and expanded their sleek, modern fit lines. read more

I love Macy's. One stop shop for everything you could possibly need (from a woman's standpoint). This location is the best in the city as far as my opinion goes. Their selection of handbags way surpasses that of the locations at Fashion Square and Altamonte Mall. The salesladies do tend to follow you in handbags but as a person coming from a retail background, I know that they have a quota to make so I don't take it personally. The cosmetics/fragrances area have practically every name brand you can think of . There is a Sunglass Hut located in this store. And if you buy sunglasses here, you can also get your new sunglasses cleaned at any SunGlass Hut store. As well as make exchanges if need be. The womens' shoe section can be very overwhelming especially when they have those clearance racks up. It's a free for all and I've seen some women get a little too pushy for that last size 8 . I would much prefer to stop by after work during the week and avoid those crowds. The womens clothing takes up the entire 2nd floor. Most times I don't even browse through because I don't have the patience or because my husband is with me. There are some great deals to be had so if you come, leave the husband at home and wear some comfy shoes to maneuver through the racks. They also have a Petites section which is nice. Not everyone is a 5' 6". If you sign up for the Macy's credit card, be prepared for sale flyers to be mailed to you every week. There is always a "one day sale" so don't kick yourself if you miss the sale that week. It will happen again next week. They also offer e-receipts when you make purchases so no need to kill another tree. This store also carries mens clothing, kitchenware, housewares and furniture but as you can tell from my review, I only focus on me when I visit this store. read more

When I think of Macy's I get nostalgic, silly really but I occasionally like silly; the final chapter of the Latin American literary classic Empire of Dreams by Giannina Braschi takes place at Macy's flagship store at Herald Square in New York City, where the heroine Mariquita Samper works at a makeup counter and dreams of becoming a star; Miracle on 34th Street, a 1947 Christmas film written and directed by George Seaton, takes place in New York City following the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, as people are left wondering whether a department store Santa might be the real thing but we all know the real Santa lives in Lapland. This Macy's is at one end of this Mall and the allegedly more upmarket Bloomingdales at the other. This particular Macy's has free wifi that partially worked on my phone. It's quite a big store but I have to own up; I wasn't impressed by most of the stuff on offer still It was nice to see the Christmas decorations. read more

I'm not a fan of the big sales that everyone runs to. Simply because must of the time the sales are that great and I could possibly go online and find the same items cheaper. While walking through the very nice Mall of Millenia, I decided to pass through of one my favorite stores. This Macy's had 3 floors!! Yeah Me Liked!!! It was very clean clothes weren't thrown everywhere and the selection is one of the best I've seen by any Macy's I've been to. My mission was to look at some luggage for a future trip I have. While I don't get easily impressed by the 50 and 60% off signs my eyes got wider and wider as I kept noticing them all over the store. As I was looking for luggage I came across an all leather backpack retailed at $675! I am a sucker for a leather and this backpack was speaking to me. A very friendly sales associate came over and asked if I wanted to price it due to the sales they were having.. I thought hell why not, even though I won't be able to justify buying a $300 backpack for myself to my wife lol; and that's only if it was 50% off. Low and behold when she scanned that tag and the discount came up 75% off!! I purchased and ran before she changed her mind! If there are sales like this all the time I'm definitely returning. I almost felt like I stole the bag but receipts don't lie! read more

Probably the best kept and stocked Macys in central Florida. Whenever I need something in particular, say a dress for an event, and I don't want to rummage thru several stores, I come here first. I usually succeed in my search. The store is huge, lots of areas or sections of clothes to look thru. When I said best kept, I am referring to the store itself. I find the fitting rooms usually lack attention as clothes are not cleaned out of each dressing room. And many times we have to wait for a cashier in the juniors area. But being able to find what I need is more important than pushing aside clothes in the fitting rooms. I will continue to shop here as long as its here. read more

Macy's is my favorite department store since I was a kid for the same reason it is today: you can find a great selection of good high quality products and the prices are usually pretty good with great sales. Since I live in Jacksonville and there is no Macy's there this is our go to location since we go to Orlando for the theme parks and friends who live in the area. This store is consistently clean and well maintained. The sales staff are friendly and helpful and the mall it's connected to is very nice as well. read more

I took my Lancôme product back to see why I was breaking out. She said it may be the sun screen. I told it's been awhile so she doesn't have to exchange but wanted to know about other product that I can use without the side effects. She said she can exchange so waited and let other customers go first because I am exchanging I didn't have the first priority for about 35 to 40mins then she tells me she is going to get in trouble for exchanging because I used it too much so I said it's okay and I don't want her to get in trouble. And then she said she will do it - going back and forth.. finally she grab someone to confirm that they can't exchange the product. I never open to see how much I used up but they made me feel so bad like I was trying to take advantage of them or something. The person who came to confirm rolled her eye and was so disrespectful simply said we can't exchange because you used it too much. I simply told them to keep the product and walked away. By this time I been there for an hour. I recently moved from California and have been a long time customer of Macy's. My husband was so upset when I told him about the incident the day after he called the manager and assistant manager said "why didn't you call the same day?" Seriously?? The manager suppose to call back but we never heard from her either. Such a disappointing experience with customer service and we won't be returning to this location or Lancôme department. read more
