Macy's is the worst store! I'm not just talking about this Macy's, but the whole company. We bought a bed frame from Macy's about 7 years ago and also got the Worry no More warranty with it. If it's not used then you get the money back as a gift card to use in the store. At least that's what we were told. Well, in reality there is nothing you can actually buy with this refund. It's comes with so many terms and conditions that is completely unusable. We will never buy anything from Macy's again. Ever. This company should be ashamed of what they have turned into. read more

Love this location! Selection of items is wonderful in all departments (3 floors!) and staff is very helpful. Each department carries extended selections from designer lines, you'll find things at this location that you won't find at any of the other Orlando stores. If you are looking for something to give as a gift, this is the store! We registered for our wedding here, the process was quick and easy...aside from our having to choose from so much. Exchanging items was not a problem. The clothing departments for mens and womens are huge. Men looking for suits should check out this location, the salesman have a keen eye for what looks good and will work within your pricepoint. Tailoring can be done on premise and the suit we purchased and had altered here was wonderful. The ladies departments are extensive, if you are looking for dresses, accessories or shoes for a special occasion, this is a great location. read more

I don't usually shop at the Macy's at Millenia because to me it almost a little too big. If I want that much selection I can just shop online, right? This store is huge, and if you are just shopping for say, a new shirt, you could spend an hour in here. Because of the way the store is divided by brand you have to keep roaming from section to section... it gets a bit annoying to me. I would really like to just see a department full of shirts, you know? Anyway, I find the smaller Macy's stores to be much more manageable. But say you have free time to kill and are just shopping for the sake of shopping, then this is probably fine. I recently went shopping here with some relatives and while I didn't find anything myself (I admitted defeat and gave up quickly), they managed to find several items. And they had coupons. The coupons were a nightmare. It took at least 15 minutes to check out. The coupons had tons of exclusions and the cashier had to read the fine print on everything. It was a mess. (They had a combination of coupons from the Macy's credit card and regular discount coupons.) In the end some of the coupons weren't accepted. I think they paid more than they wanted. I was just happy to leave the store. read more

The overall brand Macys as far as their brick and mortar stores has been inconsistent. Many Macys are closing here in O-town. If you do need to go to Macys, the store, I recommend this one at the mall of millenia. You still get that great consumerism shopping feel of a true department store. It's 3 stories and all the things you need are here. That being said, I think they must have a lot of staff turnover. As far as the kitchen area, prices are not readily visible, so we had to ask someone each time what the price was. The salespeople didn't seem knowledgeable in the menswear section, and definitely didn't understand their sales, so again, it was "let's see what it rings up at" I wanted to browse watches, just truly looking and two sales people were clocking me and so over eager to help, it made the shopping experience uncomfortable. I was afraid to pause to just look at something for 30 seconds they wanted to pull everything out of the case. anyway, Macys is A-okay but I continue to mourn the loss of the traditional american mall culture, where shopping was an activity! read more

My review comes in 2 parts. I would give 1 star to the staff at home department specifically where coffe cups are and fine china. Terrible service. Went to purchase espresso cups. Was told they were in the back. 20 min later they were still in the back and they couldn't find somebody's to go get them. 35 min later, still no cups. Ended up going to nespresso where somebody had some different ones in stock and on hand. Later on my daughter wanted a stuffed animal and the lady on the kids side (boys clothing) was super nice and helped me find a sweater and was very polite and quick. So overall I guess 3 stars. macy's will always be macy's, it's a fantastic store but they do have to give better service. read more

Millenia Macy's is one of the dirtiest stores I've seen in a while...I can tell management does very little to encourage store clerks and personnel to keep up with the store's appearance in the tableware section. There was food all around the bottom of the table set with very wrinkled green tablecloths. These tabletop cloths could have been easily steam pressed when setting the products. "Wooden" floors were scratched and dirty with bits of cereal around one tableware sale section that had some STAKK (brand) boxes placed on top...A broom could have quickly done away with this floor mess. 3 floors and only 2 sets of restrooms! Trying to find the restrooms is very difficult if you are not familiar with the store layout. The women's restrooms were smelly and dirty. I felt like I was at an amusement park rather than department store. The changing station does not have a restroom to use so I had to wait even longer with my daughter. read more

I'm not a big fan of shopping at malls & unfortunately department stores are only at malls. That being said, I came to this store a couple weeks ago with my bestie in search of a special dress for a special wedding. Shopping for special occasion clothes truly stresses me out, but I found a fabulous dress, shoes, light sweater, & clutch!!! Easy Peasy!! Because there was such a great selection I decided to open a credit card. This might be giving an easy place to shop for all my Christmas & other present needs! Fast forward to today. My boyfriend really dislikes shopping. I mean REALLY DISLIKES shopping!! We parked at the entrance that allowed us to walk directly into the Men's Dept. Two salesmen were standing in the suit department like they were just waiting for us! :-) Geiner was our salesman/associate. Geiner was awesome!! I explained my boyfriend had lost quite a bit of weight & his suits were not fitting him any longer & we truly needed a nice sportcoat, shirt, & pants. He was on it! The last few times I've been in Macy's at Millenia Mall I've not been impressed. I love the clothing but the employees leave much to be desired. I always wait a very long time to check out, can never find an employee for help, and they are generally rude when I find one. Yesterday, I was buying a few items with my young daughter in the children's section and one of the employees cursed while speaking to another employee-right in front of me and my daughter! I was appalled at the behavior and lack of professionalism. Very disappointing. I'm not sure who is hiring these people but they have very low expectations. read more

Not the store it used to be. Customer service is very lacking here. There used to be a time where every employee would greet you even if it was for the perfume spray you didn't want but not now. It is hard t even find someone to help you. The store is made up of mostly clothing, shoes and makeup in my mind. And lots of overly expensive jewelry. I was given a gift card for the store. I had no idea what I wanted and decide to walk around the store. The clutter got to be sooner than I expected. I made it halfway through the first floor and found a fitbit. Of course they didn't have many in stock to select from and the employee seemed bothered that I was asking her which colors she still had in stock. She also was upset that she had to walk to the counter as there was no on else in the area to help me. If they tackled their customer service issue and had employees who seemed like the they to be there maybe they could come back to there old glory. read more

This is one gigantic Macy's. If you can't find something here you just aren't looking. The space is huge and clothing racks are absolutely crammed into every corner. Fair warning, it would be a nightmare to try and get through this place with a stroller or wheelchair but I was in heaven. Parking is of course an absolute nightmare on the weekend and I've witnessed multiple hit and runs in this parking lot so leave the good car at home. read more

Macy's, and specifically this store located in the Mall at Millenia had been our go-to Department Store when we needed outfits for a variety of occasions. Unfortunately, we will need a new go-to store as their salespeople have gotten more and more ridiculous over time. On our most recent visit, we were asked at least 4 times by different salespeople in a mere span of 30 minutes if we needed help with anything. These were not the friendly, "just let us know if you need help." These were, "let me take you directly to the cashier even if you're not ready so I can get my commission." We told them that we were fine and just browsing. Funnily enough, when we did need assistance in the Fitting Room, none could be spotted. Perhaps they still have one of the better selections out there for the price range, but I'd rather find a more relaxing store to shop in. Especially since shopping is stressful enough as it is for me. The only reason I'll be returning to this particular location is to make a visit to the Nespresso Boutique. Mmm...coffee. read more

This store was really busy. I think they had labor day sales going. I did not find anything in particular that I was looking for, but my brother found a number of good deals. They had a lot of overstock clothing for the sales that were going on. There is also a Bloomingdales in this mall that I would have loved to have compared this department store to. read more

All the staff at this Macy's are willing to help and approached me and asked if I needed any assistance. But there was one associate that stood out to me the most, MICHAEL ! Michael, from the bedding department, he made my shopping experience very pleasant for my boyfriend and I. He answered all our questions and guided us everywhere! I just want to say Alanis at the makeup counter (girl, you helped me out more than you know!!) is the bomb.com! She helped me find a primer for my crazy skin and helped me fill in my brows without looking like a crazy person! I will definitely be back. Came for a specific pair of shoes that they told me they have(called 10 minutes away, saw availability in store from website and app, and their scanner showed available)...then when I show up they don't have them...now have to go to Florida Mall...during post rush hour...and told them they should be giving me some sort of compensation considering it took an hour to get to this point...and probably another 2 for the rest =/ read more

Is a place where you find everything you need with excellent promotions. The sales people are very thoughtful. If you have any problems with anything you buy there, they make the exchange without any problem and if you still prefer they return the money to you. Very good to go shopping at this store. While the inventory at this Macy's is phenomenal its Big and Tall selection is seriously lacking. The once had a great big and all section but recently has scaled it down to only a few racks. I bought my mattress and box spring from Macy's over a year ago. It was to high for me to get on every night. My salesman Richard Neukam 10983309 told me I could exchange it because that's what they do but he never informed me until it was delivered that I would be incurring an additional charge for new delivery and old bed pickup. They again like when the first bed was brought out not on a Macy's truck, now I know why. They said that they had to charge a fee for bringing the new one out and can't take the old bed back after it was here for a week. I told them Macy's takes back clothes and other things and resell them. So I got a new bed called Mona East Plush King whatever that means, because plush and comfortable IT WAS NOT!!. It has not been comfortable at all but then I knew I was stuck with it anyway. Within 6 months the bed started sagging around the neck and shoulder area where you lay down. I went to the store in Hoover, Al and the sales woman was rude and gave me a 800 number to call. They said they would have to have someone come out. Since I had to work and they only come to this zip code every so often it took over a month to get here. Reliable Furniture Inspections . They do what ever they can to help stores not to have to take back bedding. This has interfered with my sleep and I fall right into the hole on my bed. They just left and said that the indent had to be 1 1/2" deep, mine was 1" deep. I'm letting everyone know about this incident as I am sure others have also experienced it and letting them know not to buy a bed at Macy's. I figured spending $1,200 for my bed I deserved better treatment. I will also not ever buy anything else there of any sizeable amount. read more

John in the men's suit department is fantastic I came into town for what I thought was business casual meetings but found out the night before it was professional dress. John set me up with a couple good looking suits, shirts, ties, and shoes. Spent an hour passed his work hours to make sure I was set. Such incredible service and I walked out paying less than 50% of everything due to the sales and discounts! Great job John! read more

I really honestly don't believe many people work here. I am a man so I usually just shop in the mens section, shoe section and on occasion the housewares. I live downtown so this is a pretty convenient mall for me to get to and I have visited this store at least 20 times in the past year. Each time it gets more reassuring to me that I don't want to go back. For starters, I have never been greeted by an employee or asked if I needed help, I actually have hardly seen any employees on the floor when I'm shopping. Most of the times I have seen them they are quite busy talking with each other, even seeing me and not even acknowledging my presence. I'm not much of a clearance rack shopper and do enjoy wearing higher end clothing and not all against throwing down 250 bucks on a pair of jeans and get frustrated when I'm searching around with an idea of something I want but I have no one there to help me. The store is kind of a mess and clothing is just strewn everywhere. Terrible organization. I've been in search of shoes and since I am a 13 1/2 do require most of the time for some help on getting a size to try on. Nope. No help in that department either. Of the 20 plus times I go in here I am always hoping and looking for a better experience but each time it reaffirms to me that it was actually worse than before. What inevitably has happened 90% of the time I am so frustrated I leave the store and go to one of their neighboring stores Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales knowing that I'm going to pay even more of a premium for the same product but get much better customer service there. The sad part is I'm probably not the only one. I love macys and I hold a card with them that has a very high credit and would love to spend the moolah, but there just seems to be no one there to help me with that. Anna Christina at the Mac makeup counter was amazing!!!! I have gotten my makeup done about 15 times and always went home and washed it off. I was in my best friends wedding this weekend and decided to try getting my makeup done again lol. Anna Christina was wonderful she was patient and understanding about my anxiety hahaha as time was an issue as well. Needless to say I was extremely pleased and didn't wash my makeup off as it was PERFECT!!!!!! I would recommend her services to anyone :) read more

The store is huge, and there were some good bargains. The staff, however, were completely useless. They couldn't seem to do a simple job of scanning items. They were scanning all sorts of different bar codes, one item, they overcharged me for and then it took forever for them to go and find another item from the store that was the same price to scan that through the till. I must have been stood there for 20 minutes and there were two assistants attempting to check out my items. I think Macy's need to train their staff a little better. Also, my partner has an issue with another member of staff, he found some jeans with no tag, when he asked the assistant how much they were, the assistant made a price up. When he took them to the till, there was a price tag in the pocked which was half the price what the assistant had told him. For a large organisation, it would appear that Macy's are not very customer focused. read more

I am a frequent customer at Macy's and it is one of my favorite department stores. With that being said, a few days ago at the Macy's makeup department specifically at the Macy's impulse stand. I had a not so great experience. It took 20 minutes to wave someone down for assistance and when I did get the first girls attention she knew zero information about the brand I was asking about and it was her specific department. She was also not very friendly and passed me along to another sales associate. The next girl was smacking her gum in my face as I was trying to check out and I had to wait till she was done texting on her phone till she could check me out. In my opinion that is just unprofessional. I probably won't shop in that specific stand of the Macy's beauty department again at Millenia. read more

I love to park near this store when I go to the Mall at Millenia. I like to shop the jewelry and often find good deals. It is always helpful to bring a coupon; why shop Macy's without one. I frequent the Estee Lauder counter, and it is a bit small and crowded around the makeup counters in this Macy's, they always have the products I want. The ladies haven't given me any free samples though. At Nordstrom I always get lots of perfume samples. So, if you don't mind being in a confined, crowded space the makeup area is okay for you. Now, I do love the makeup counter upstairs for MAC. They do give me samples and I go back to them for that reason. I love the girls at the MAC counter because they are nice, helpful and they know what they are talking about. They won't steer you wrong, in fact, they make you look better! I like to stop in the Macy's bathroom instead of the main mall bathroom. Sometimes though there is no toilet paper. However, it is wheelchair accessible and I like the privacy better than in the mall restroom. The children's clothing is upstairs and it is not so crowded and I like that. If you watch the sales, you can get nice underwear for the kids for a good price. I think that the clothing for the boys is a little pricey. Regardless of the cons, I still always shop this Macy's, so it can't be too bad. read more
