No soap and toilet paper all over the floor
Tom A.

This store was super packed when I came in (three days before Christmas) and the bathrooms were very dirty and had no soap and toilet on the floors. There was a lot of items on marked down and lots of sales and stuff to look at. I know normally Marshall's stores are clean and organized but when we came it's it was a mess in this store. You can find great Christmas gifts here and things for your home. Overall the value of Marshall's is like Rose but a bit more expensive.

Had a great experience at this Marshalls near themillennia mall. We mapped out our route of potentially five Marshalls locations that we were going to visit in our pursuit to find this one specific towel, which I found only one of in the Florida mall, Marshalls. We were quite lucky to find it in this, the first Marshalls that we visited. The store was quite clean and very well- stocked for the holiday. Kayla was a very nice and a friendly associate at check out.

If you're wondering why I am looking for more sunscreen, it's because Hawaii has banned sunscreen that's not reef friendly, and I totally get that, but I'm not going swimming - I am miles and miles from the ocean while I slog around in my jungle of a backyard hacking down invasive vines and pulling troublesome weeds, so I needed Target to help me find something to prevent skin cancer. Not only will you find products to help you ward off skin cancer, but you'll also find psychedelic orchids and Krispy Kreme donuts! WOW wish the Targets in Hawaii was this insane - the only way we locals get Krispy Kreme is flying to one of the other islands other than Oahu, and we will never have such amazing, crazily colored orchids in Hawaii either (trade secret by Florida orchid growers). One of the workers helped me out so much at the check out that I actually tipped him, now that's service! The Starbucks Coffee in this particular location had the ubiquitous Pistachio Frappuccino that Honolulu International Airport's Starbucks didn't have, so another plus.

The place was not crowded at all, so we just went to the aisles and got whatever things we needed. Since it is a Super Target, you could also buy groceries. Thus, I did get a chicken enchilada and chicken caesar wrap as well. The chicken enchilada was nothing special as it was mostly bland and the chicken looked processed, but the chicken wrap fared better with better quality chicken, fresh lettuce, and flavorful caesar dressing. The prices are between Walmart and Publix points, but a decent value for the quality given. What was also good was there wasn't much of a line to get a real cashier, so we were able to check-out and pay quickly. The cashier was also very friendly and polite. Parking was quite large and not difficult to find a spot. I find Target slightly better than Walmart if you are willing to pay a little more! Overall: B

I was a regular at Brio Italian Grille, they are no longer there. After 20+ years they closed their flagship location at Millenia. I was bummed because I wanted to have dinner there. I never really know how to rate malls because I mean, they are just malls. If they are not visibly…read moredying and hanging on for dear life, they usually have something for someone at some point throughout their time span. The Mall of Millenia falls comfortably in that category. While it is a mall that offers more higher-end shopping experiences, it still has a handful of affordable fashion retailers as well as numerous restaurants and eateries that can cater to just about anyone. Parking is ample - even on BUSY, sale days or holidays. They are home to local favorites like the Apple Store - which is always BUSY no matter the day or time. They are home to the Cheesecake Factory, The Capitol Grille, Earl's Kitchen, P.F. Changs, among other restaurants and eateries. They have, at a minimum, three Starbucks for the Starbucks fanatics. They have numerous notable department stores like Macy's and Bloomingdale's (both at opposing ends). And of course, they house Gucci, Marc Jacobs, YSL, just to name a few of the many luxury brands they have to offer. They have H&M, Urban Outfitters, Aldo, Warby Parker, and just SO MANY places to name. They will also be home to one of my favorite stores, Zara, soon enough - which I cannot wait for. I tend to frequent this mall in the evening to avoid some of the daytime crowds. Staff, from store to store, varies, but for the MOST part, they have been helpful and kind. Some of the higher-end stores do not give you weird vibes when you walk in to just look around - which is always a good thing. There's nothing worse than feeling like you are unwanted in a store. On busy days, the check-out lines can get long depending on the store you are in. However, most of the time, they are staffed well, and you are in and out. All in all, this is a pretty good mall. Did I mention, they have a small postal service area on the ground floor if you need to mail/ship out anything. I really do not have any negative experiences that turned me away from this mall as a whole. Now I've had some negative experiences with staff in certain stores, but again, those moments have been so few and far between. I will continue to patronize this mall. Also, it's pretty close to home - so it is convenient. P.S. I do miss when they were home to Crate & Barrel - it was one of my favorite stores for home décor. However, they left many, many moons ago.

I fantasized myself in them, but do you know at what point reality smacks you in the face and punches you in the gut? When you tell yourself "WTF I am too old to wear these!" Yes, ouch. But that didn't stop me from looking and appreciating all the fashion. This 5-star rating was on the sheer amount and selection of ball/prom gowns stretching as far as the eyes/wallet could see. I'm from Hawaii and I've never seen such an extensive display of formal wear. I'm thinking it's because Florida also has a large Spanish population where Quinceanera plays a role in the need for fancy garb as well. Another reason this 5-star rating is in place is because of the luggage. The actual reason we were here was to buy another suitcase (not to look at gowns). We already had one full-sized suitcase, but had to buy another one. Why, you ask? Because I bought too many gifts for others. Because the 80's Cruise gave us too many free swag, including two back-pack cooler chairs (not complaining), because I purchased three pairs of shoes, because I went to Goodwill in Ft Lauderdale and purchased 5 dresses, because on the 80's Cruise I gathered enough candy and swag to bog us down by 10 pounds. The sales lady was super nice and helped me with a cheery disposition. Macy's has always been a go-to for luggage on sale, and a large selection. I was going to go to TJ Maxx or Marshall's, but I cannot find a consistent supply of Delsey Luggage, my favorite. I took a picture of the Delsey Florence Luggage as a cool feature, but I can't do a see-through suitcase, it would be too much of a pain trying to hide my bags of Mike's Hot Honey popcorn from TSA and luggage handlers.

As we walked around the store, we encountered other store employees who were also friendly and willing to help us find what we were looking for or eager to assist with a sale. We did have a bit of trouble finding cooking oils, and after asking some associates, one lead me to cookies, while another bluntly took told me the correct aisle. At least the store looked pretty clean and organized. We didn't go to the the other sessions than the groceries, so didn't see much of toys, electronics, fashion, or other items. We got so lucky to find a checkout counter with an attendant immediately. She acted nonchalant, but still polite enough. They didn't check our receipts after leaving, so we were able to get out without issues. As mentioned, this store mostly cater to tourists. Since it is open from 6AM to 11PM most of the time, it's a quick way to get any items missed or needed. For locals like me, it's pretty packed and can get a bit uncomfortable.
