Bloomingdale's has been around since 1861, opening their first location in New York City. This world has definitely changed so much since 1861 and we have seen a shift to online purchases in the last few decades, so it is good to see Bloomingdale's still here on the Mall at Millenia. This Bloomingdale's has a good selection (which you would expect from a department store) and the store is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this particular location of Bloomingdale's.

Dear Bloomingdale's Customer Relations,…read more I am writing to formally express my disappointment with how my gift return has been handled and with the customer service I have received throughout this process. I received a pair of Tory Burch sandals as a birthday gift from a close friend. Since the size was incorrect, I followed Bloomingdale's return instructions and mailed the item back using the prepaid return label provided by Bloomingdale's. The original gift receipt was enclosed in the return package, as instructed. After weeks of trying to resolve the matter, I was repeatedly told that Bloomingdale's could not locate my returned item. I spent a significant amount of time contacting customer service, explaining the situation over and over, yet no one was able to provide a satisfactory answer or resolution. I have now learned something even more upsetting. Instead of issuing the merchandise credit to me, the gift recipient, Bloomingdale's refunded the value of the item to the original purchaser--my friend who gave me the birthday gift. This mistake has put me in an incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing position. Not only have I lost the approximately $200 merchandise credit that rightfully belonged to me, but Bloomingdale's actions also risk damaging a personal friendship. My friend may now believe that I intentionally returned their birthday gift, which is both hurtful and completely contrary to what actually happened. This situation was created solely because Bloomingdale's mishandled my return. I trusted Bloomingdale's to process a standard gift return correctly. Instead, I have experienced poor customer service, a lack of accountability, and an outcome that has caused both financial loss and unnecessary personal distress. I respectfully request that Bloomingdale's immediately investigate this matter and issue the appropriate merchandise credit to me. I also ask for an explanation of how a properly submitted gift return was processed in a way that refunded the original purchaser rather than the gift recipient. I have always expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer care from Bloomingdale's. I sincerely hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Shaparak Moshksaran

The men's section has some fun, unique gadgets and novelty merchandise, of which I selected a few. There are some discounts throughout the store, making things more reasonably priced. I do have a Kohl's charge card, so I had my 40% off coupon ready to go in the app. Always nice to see how much you saved on that receipt. This was my first visit since the checkout area has been altered. It is now similar to some other retailers, a winding line that has customers corralled into a path surrounded by more stuff to buy. I don't love it, but it is effective seeing as how I grabbed an additional item. I believe 7 registers were open. There was a wait to get there, though. A manager apologized for the delay. He helped direct customers to the next available register. Angie, the associate who completed my transaction, was very friendly and upbeat. Overall I felt they handled the busyness adequately.

This location is quite small. They do have a Disney collaboration selection in store which makes it better than a lot of the other shops in Disney Springs that are without anything specialty. TB actually does quite a bit of employee education so tjat each can spake with authentic authority in most of pieces offered. On this most recent visit, the first woman I spoke with whom was older, probably working. Part time regiment job wasn't really aware of what was asking about and had a bit of an issue with the iPad (which are funny-I can say from my own experience). She was perfectly nice and I didn't mind as I looked for the item to show her. But a much younger co worker stepped in to "help" & we were able to find the item, but she was kind of rude to the older woman. It was sort of joking way, but it rubbed me the wrong way. There's no need for that. It really kind of belittled a person who was doing their best, the store was not busy, and no one asked her to step in. I'm local so if I need to go to a physical store, I typically go the Millenia location which is larger and has much less foot traffic in general. Unless I'm looking for Disney items for my husband or family members specifically, you may consider doing that as well.
