Lucky for me, that shop was Forema and they have not succumbed to the Park Avenue tax (which only exists in my head and not with the state or city) so there were affordable options! There are plenty of racks of clothes and gifts but what called to me was the jewelry. Each piece was unique and there was something for everyone. Though it leans pretty boho chic, I imagine even the preppiest of sorority girls (Rollins) would find something to fawn over. I ended up buying a few necklaces, each priced at under $20, and a few tiny rings. Though the necklaces aren't real gold or silver, I see similar designs at stores nearby (and online) for ridiculously inflated prices. One necklace I wore even into the shower eventually lost its gold sheen and turned a dark silver, but I actually dig the look and am still happy with it. Overall, I'm thankful for a place on the avenue that caters to a broader economic audience at least.

They were having a lil pre-valentine event and I was nicely greeted with chocolates and champagne upon entering and given their sales deets. It felt nice and bouje to get to sip while shopping and it was a perfect Friday afternoon for it. They are suppose to be having it a few more days this week along with the salon across in on the fun to show different hairstyles. I may have to swing by for that because in dire need of a trim. Anyway I ended up buying a few nice clothing pieces from both their stores that were on sale/marked down that felt reasonably well priced. The ladies there are personable and welcoming. I also like how the fitting rooms have the really long mirrors and on every wall you get a good sense of the look. I would reccomend Sofie and Trey for any elegant events your attending, it's hard finding dresses but this store is where it's at for this and I think does a good job of having decent amount of choices. 4th & ocean is more for your everyday style and il def be back when they get in their spring collection to see what's in store.

I'll go see what it's about after my coffee. I'm glad I wandered in and looked around. The two ladies there were very nice and informed me of the sale they had going on in the back room. It is a very pretty little boutique, that not only offers women's clothes, but also for kids and of course accessories. That's what I ended up getting, a nice new makeup bag that I needed, and some hair accessories. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

I felt a little overwhelmed in this store due to the amount of items inside and also the small space. There are several racks of clothes but I wasn't sure how they were organized. The walls are lined edge to edge with glassware, art, knick-knacks, ets. The prices were very reasonable, with $1 and $5 sections. The shop was otherwise very clean and tidy. I was greeted when I walked in by a shouted hello, but the store owner's pleasantry stopped there. Nothing else was said to me while I looked around this tiny shop. There was also loud church/gospel music playing with "I Love Jesus" lyrics and the shop owner was singing loudly along. It was honestly very disconcerting. If you're a hardcore bargain hunter/thrifter this could be your place, but overall it was not for me.

The store is small and you could easily drive past the entrance but they have a lot of great items in here for a fair price. They have a lot of clothes packed in this store, so it's a bit hard to shop in here when there are a lot of customers, but they have a good selection. The main problem is there is no dressing room available to see if anything fits and the there are no returns, so if you do buy something be prepared to make the best of your purchase once you get home. Something else I should note is there is no customer restroom available. There is minimal furniture available for purchase, but they have some decent chairs for sale. There were some paintings, a very nice full-length mirror, some jewelry, watches, books, lots of knick-knacks, plenty of kitchen wares, and some cooking equipment available. All the items we inspected were in great condition and being sold at a fair price. We purchased three Christmas inspired coffee mugs that we have been using every day during the season ($2 each). We asked if she could sell them to us for a slightly lower price and she was firm on the pricing, so take that into account when shopping here. The store owner and her daughter were very friendly and informed us of the deal they were offering on clothes that day but we didn't purchase any clothing during this visit. All-in-all, a great store to check out if you are in the area shopping everything thrift.
