I am a fan of Dillard's! They carry a brand I love called Free People, so that doesn't hurt. Now when I use the word moderate, it is subjective. I would say that they are moderately/high priced here at Dillard's. Though I would also say it depends on what you're looking at. To me, a good pair of jeans for $100 isn't asking too much. If you're in love with them. Now for their customer service, I think that is one area they are lacking in. No one really seems to want to go out of their way to help a customer. At least this has been my experience. So if this was resolved, I think that they would be five stars in my book! read more

Dillard's needs a rebranding or something... the name sounds like a crap-hole department store but once inside, it's a Mecca of high quality name branded items. It's nicer than Macy's and Big Lots combined! This Florida Mall location is one of the better ones. I love the size of the men's department as they have a nice selection. Great shoe choices and plenty of shirts, pants, and other things to cover our man-parts. And luggage, they probably had some of the nicer brands of any store I've been to. I may end up here once my trusty carry-on craps the bed. This is a normal Dillards Department store and not like the Clearance Center store at Fashion Square. If you like Macy's, give Dillards a try and you might be surprised. Not "crap your pants and have a heart attack" surprised, but better than you may remembers. read more

This particular Dillard's is located in the Florida Mall. With that being said, being in a mall of this size means that parking is not an issue. The staff is friendly and they have a good selection of items. Overall, it was a positive experience. Christmas will be here before we know it and I am trying to do some shopping to finish up on my gift list. My visit to this particular Dillard's was an overall positive experience. read more

I bought a used purse from them. Which they claim was vintage. But what they didnt say was the latch was broke and it would not hold anything. It falls open and everything falls out. I called immedatly the next day, only to wait days for the sales girl to get back with me. She said the manger said no returns on vintage. It is one thing to not return an item, but if it is broke and you can not use it, is another. They did not even offer to reapir it. It was over $2,000. I then went in to show them the purse and they sent a guy that clained was assist manger. He said he would get back to me. He never did. This is bad service and I bet if they asked their wives about the deffective purse they would agree that it needs to be returned or repaired. read more

I stopped by Dillards to purchase a baby gift for a friend. They had a beautiful display of newborn clothes and some accessories. Nothing was on sale and there were no price breaks but the quality of merchandise was very nice. After I picked out a few things i had to go on the hunt to find a sales associate to make my purchase. On the far end of the Florida Mall, this chain has been a part of this mall for a long time. It could use a bit of a face lift, but overall it's clean and well organized. If you have been in one of these chains before, you most likely know where everything is located. Most commonly I go through Dillard's for the shoe section. They always have a great shoe sale section, so I like to browse through there and see if I can find anything I want to take home. Staff is hard to find on the whole, and not always super helpful when it comes to questions. It's also hit or miss as to whether or not a register is open, so you may need to walk around a bit to find one, which can be annoying. In the shoe section area, there is almost always an associate, so try there if you can't find anyone else. Overall: B A bit of an older location that could use some reno, but easy to shop on the whole. read more

Christopher mills some how made me buy a suit effortlessly a few subtle words no pressure involved I asked him 3 simple questions about a blazer and I ended up in a suit he made me feel comfortable and educated me on the proper fit of a jacket helped me pick out the correct colors and never got frustrated with me changing my mind 15 times allowed me time to see I had no clue what I was talking about when it came to picking colors made the experience fun and enjoyable he treated me like I was a valued customer after walking the entire mall I was glad to see his department was neat not full of clutter I can't wait to purchase another suit you can tell when a person loves what they do I appreciated the experience and guidance read more

This is my favorite department store in Orlando. They have a great selection of nicer clothes that are displayed nicely. Their sales are fantastic. They always have super helpful sales people. The lady in purses and hosiery was so nice this morning. Up in BCBG they were great also. Nice to have service at a store. read more

I've never been impressed with this company but according to my online search for an item they were the only store that carried it where I could shop in person. The store is at the mall and appeared to be very clean. Employees were wearing masks but socially distant. I was able to find the department I needed and then asked someone if they had what I was looking for. They helped me search but it seems they are phasing the brand out which would have been nice to know in advance. If you have any perfume allergies this is one of those stores you probably want to avoid. read more

When I lived in Orlando, I shopped here often and always had wonderful experiences with the employees. I buy a good majority of my clothes from Dillard's (always great quality) and the saleswomen were always very helpful. Even when sales were going on, everything was always nicely organized. Since moving back to Jacksonville, I have not been in the store, but just last week I had yet another wonderful experience with this store. There were two dresses in one of my local Jacksonville Dillard's I fell in love with, but they did not have them in my size. They did a search and found they had them in stock at this Dillard's in The Florida Mall in Orlando. I made a call and spoke with Suely in Today's Woman and she was so kind and pleasant on the phone. She located the dressed for me and then took her time to take all my information down and make sure it was correct. I paid for the dresses via credit card over the phone and she said she'd get them shipped out to me and I would receive them within 7-10 business days. I was a little bummed it was going to take that long, but it was ok, at least I was getting my dresses. Surprise! Surprise! When I arrived home the very next day, I had a package waiting for me. She had sent them overnight. I was thrilled! Suely really went above and beyond with customer service. I could not have asked for a better experience. I'm glad to know this Dillard's is just as wonderful as it was 2 years ago when I was living in Orlando! read more

I shopped upstairs on the woman's floor and was offered help numerous times. When I was down stairs in the men's department, in the bathroom there was a man struggling to get his handicapped son out of the bathroom. I went to the polo counter and both of the employees were very kind. It seems the new guy David was the one to run and help the clients to exit the bathroom. This is the kind of world class service I have come to expect from Dillard's I had the pleasure to speak with the female MOD and she said he was the new guy. You can train for many things but kindness and compassion iare something we are lucky to find in our best team members. I shop online these days. I know what I like, and what I want, and love to buy sample sizes of the new products to keep current... pretty much my need to visit a store is limited to none. I'm talking about clothing, make up, household items, my daughter needs. I shop online. Today, I was not feeling good, definitely not a good idea to come to the mall but, I had 3 hours to spare while I wait for my daughter attending language lessons. What a surprise ! I parked to the furthest corner of the mall and the entrance near me was Dillard's. I thought I might take a look for a gift for my aunt. Like I said, k wasn't feeling good (migraine) and didn't want to engage in contact with anyone. As I walked around a couple of sale representatives approached me and I nicely decline any help. No issues here... I got tired of walking around and was about to leave when a representative from Chanel approached me, with the same helpful attitude as the others, and I said, like in the other cases, no thank you. She smiled so beautifully (genuine smile) and I proceeded to tell her that I had a migraine and that I was sorry I wasn't very talkative... also told her that I was looking for a gift. She offered me a temple (forehead) massage as soon as I finished my sentence. She used one of my favorite serums and massaged my temples, then a serum for my eyes and I immediately started to feel better. We spoke about gift options for my aunt, we spoke about ourselves and we laughed. Shared and enjoy each other's company. In a sense it made me miss shopping in stores .... that connection / communication with nice people. Sometimes I don't give credit to people any more ... today I feel I made a new friend and I will be definitely coming back to get products from her Chanel booth. Her name is Lailani Joya, and like her last name indicates she's is a "Jewel" beautiful inside and out and the best of all : a true professional in the beauty industry. Knows her stuff well and I trust her knowledge. Has been a representative from Chanel for more than 10 years so ... go to her if you are new to the brand or familiar. She's the best. They have great selections for all the products that they put in their stores.I have bought dishes and silverware from them and still have them to this day. I know they have a great selection of female products such as make up, watches, and jewelry. They do not have any garden or tool section like sears does. read more

First let me say that on a normal day in Dillard's I can not afford to shop there. But when there's a end of the season sale!?! Honey, this is my store! You can get great quality clothes at an AMAZING bargain. Best of all, you don't have to dig for the clothes. I HATE, HATE, I mean REALLY HATE digging through racks and racks of clothes just to find one good item. All those worries fade away when I enter this store. Everything is always organized and neatly done. Plus the sales people are friendly without being overbearing, #love. In all seriousness, department store shopping can really be a pain in the butt. Hands down has the best men's section in Central Florida! It's huge, giant Ralph Lauren section, all kinds of good sales, huge men's shoe section with Cole Haan, Johnston Murphy etc... service has always been excellent. Terrible customer service. No one was there to attend our needs. There was no announcement for the closing time until the store was closed and we where trapped like mice. Me and my seven year old sister where forced to go out a entrance that was far from our car. After walking through the dark and not safe area we finally reached our car. Needless to say we entered at the food court and the sales lady would not open the door to let us go out. In fact, on our way out of Dillard's a sales person unlocked a door for us. Don't shop at this Dillard's unless u want to be trapped like mice. read more
