My dad and I went here for a quick visit to get shaving cream. I remember this was one of the department stores that have the Art of Shaving brand. We went to the perfume and jewelry area, and asked someone if they had that brand. We were pointed to another area that got us closer. Another attendant was able to help us, and find the brand we are looking for. They exactly had the Art of Shaving sandalwood cream, and it was at the regular price of about 35 dollars. We still bought it. The attendants were very helpful and friendly. I love that the store looks upscale and more organized, unlike Sears and JC Penney nearby. While the prices are a bit more expensive, the store and staff justify it. They have the more upscale brands. My dad and I will be back to get more of the shaving cream when needed, and get upscale clothes when there are sales. Overall: A because the customer service is great here. read more

Even though the store was busy, the sales associates were very helpful and I didn't have to wait long to be acknowledged. I also rounded up for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Stopped in really quickly to Macy's yesterday evening. I needed some plain earrings for work so I headed straight for their backstage area; I picked up some Nikola Parisi set of three studded earrings for $10; I also picked up some footed leggings for seven dollars. I always like shopping here and everyone is really nice - it is kind of hard sometimes to find an employee that works in the area but as soon as you found someone then you can easily check out. 10/10 I also have the Macy's point system so when I spend money at Macy's I get coupons and discounts etc. read more

I am a fan of Macy's and this particular location is housed in the Florida Mall. Macy's is an iconic brand and this location is a good representation of this well established department store chain. As I have said, I am a fan of Macy's. I've heard people say that it is expensive, but it is no more expensive than any other department store and some of those department stores honestly should be classified as competitors of Walmart and yet they still want to charge comparable to Macy's. The staff here is friendly and professional and I can usually find something in these stores that I never knew that I needed, but now I cannot live without. All in all, with this location's convenience by being in a large mall only adds to its attraction. Overall, I am going to give this place an overall score of five stars and my recommendation. read more

Trying to get in touch with someone at the Florida Mall location is next to impossible! I called the phone number (407-854-2300) to try and get the Manager to compliment an employee that provided outstanding service to me the previous day. However, the automated menu did not provide an option to speak to the manager. It provided only department connections (women's; men's; jewelry; etc.) so I tried several departments in an attempt to reach management (using the menu options). Each time, I was put on hold as I waited about a minute to talk to someone. The automated message would come back on and stated no one was available and requested I go back to the menu and selected another department. After several attempts and no department picking up the phone, I hung up in frustration. It's sad that you can't even connect to a live operator (that option is not available in the menus I went through). Very disappointing for a major retailer not to have a system that allows you to connect to someone in a timely manner. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, inside the store it was very stuffy disorganized and rude customers. There were clothes thrown in the floor fitting rooms closed limited cash registers opened the list could go on. I've always loved going to Macy's and shopping there. Most stores tend to have pretty much the same offerings. This particular Macy's had much more in men's clothing than I am accustomed to in my hometown. I appreciate having more to choose from. The department was well organized and the fitting room was very clean. Not to mention there was also a men's restroom actually near the fitting room. The employees were quick to help and very efficient. I don't necessarily need an excuse to visit but if given an option I would visit this Macy over any in the general vicinity. read more

Macys got my credit report without authorization that lowered my score. Then they lowered my credit limit after I have paid perfectly on time for 10 years!! That also lowered my credit score! I absolutely love Macy's and wish we had one in Jacksonville. Having easy access to Macy's is one of the things I miss most about living in Orlando; lucky, we visit there at least once a month (usually more). I don't do a whole lot of clothes shopping at Macy's. I mostly shop for handbags and makeup. Love they have sell the Michael Kors line of makeup here; that can be difficult to find. Anyway, this means I don't usually leave the first floor. Customer service is always top-notch here; at least in the areas of the store where I do the majority of my shopping. I always have at least one person come up to me smiling, asking if I need assistance. When I do need assistance, it's easy for me to find someone. I don't have to trek all over the store looking for an associate. They have a nice selection of both Coach and Michael Kors handbags (two obsessions of mine). The only drawback is it's located in The Florida Mall, so you're going to find a lot of tourists here. I also always see a lot of children who aren't being watched by their parents and they are just let loose to roam the store. On my last visit here, there was a little girl playing with the Dior makeup without a parent in sight. So, overlook things like that and it's all good. read more

Called 800 number to Philippines they were clueless. After an hour finally reached Supervisor-who said max was $100. Classic bait and switch. A large location for the chain, you can find this anchor store on the far end of the Florida Mall, on the same side as Dick's Sporting Goods and Dillards. If you are looking for something specific, this place can be a touch overwhelming since it is so large. It has a ton of merchandise. One of my go to sections here is the "last chance" area, where you can find clothes at 50-70% off depending on the item. This has been a great place to find cheap deals. I found a great Star Wars AT-AT shirt for just $8 on my last trip. The perfume and jewelry sections are a great place to find gifts. And they usually have some kind of offer going. Downsides are that the staff are hard to find, and are usually only at registers. So, finding any help is pretty much not gonna happen in the clothing areas. The perfume and jewelry sections are a bit easier to find help. Bathrooms are kinda hit or miss with cleanliness, but have never been horrible. Overall: A Tons of options, sorta hard to find help, depending on what you are looking for. read more

The Florida Mall isn't my favorite spot to go shopping, but the do have a lot of stores that may not be in the swanky Millenia Mall. That being said, this Florida Mall location is my 2nd favorite in town, w/ Miillenia being number one. So, what's the big deal? One Macy's is another. Not really. If you shop over at the Millenia Mall you'll find some undwear brands targeted for gay men (they are great undies, but that's their marketing dollars at work) but you can't find those at almost any Macy's, but Florida Mall does carry a larger selection of more fashion forward mens clothing. The biggest and most annoying thing is this----- DOES ANYONE WORK THERE? I literally walk around for 10-15 minutes sometimes trying to find someone to take my money so I can leave. There is never anyone to help you and long gone are the days of someone going back to get you another size. You're lucky if yo get a changing room not overrun with someone else's mess. The last chance section is where it's at and why you spend the time going through everything.....it's all 70+ % off! I got a pair fo Seven for All Mankind jeans for $26 - For Real! Retail was nearly $200 on final clearance at $26; best of all I found it in the shirt section. Parking is tough at this mall. It's bing and spread out, so that means the lot is the same. Try the mens entrance over by the Florida Hotel. You can usually score a spot fairly easy there. read more

It was busy!!!!! Otherwise thou I had a good experience. I had to go to the service counter to pick up some goods. The staff was helpful and my pick up was super simple... the guy asked how my online order was. Like was it easy to follow etc. I told him it was cool. No issues. Easy and you get updates of your order randomly... so after I left there I found myself at the Cologne displays.... oh no... well $_____ dollars later I left. I usually gravitate to Macy's because of the huge petite selection. It can sometimes be very frustrating looking for stylish clothes that fit correctly in some stores, but not here. . . Since I loathe shopping for clothes IRL, I usually just order online and have the clothes shipped to me. Recently, however, Macy's allows the option to order online and pick up in store. Now, this is win win for me. I received a text alert when my items were ready for pick up, and since I paid online, all I have to do is go to the pick up order counter with my ID, and my bag is packed with all items in it--ready to go. I ordered around 9pm and received the text at 7:30 am the order was ready, so in this case, it was super quick. Online pickup is on second floor where the mattresses and bedding is located, right near human resources. I had to ask 3 different people where to go before I finally found it, but now that I know where my order can be picked up, it's on! Macy's' I love you! read more

This Macy's is more like a Wal Mart....the lighting is hideous and the bathrooms are the most disgusting and poorly maintained I have ever seen. The first floor bathroom near the women's department has 3 stalls; one is marked "out of order", another had the stall door falling off so you can clearly see the person using it, and the third (handicapped) had no toilet paper, paper towels, or soap! Upon walking out I saw one of the women who works at the makeup counters cleaning her brushes in the sink. I don't know how clean they could get considering there was no soap.... I wish they would clean up their act, this used to be a nice place to shop. read more

This Macy's really treats you like garbage if you look a certain way. I got followed TWICE while on the second floor. And then I got questioned heavily on why I was using my Macy's money that I earned from another store...This was a very horrible experience and I will NEVER shop at Macy's again. Why would I shop at a place that is SO high in prices when I can shop at other stores and save $15-$25 bucks. Poor Burdines, how you've not changed. I appreciate this Macy's location for multiple reasons: the parking, the helpful clerks, and its location within the mall. When Florida Mall added this section, I was glad to see Burdines was an anchor store. I always liked Macy's and appreciated that they carried the same products throughout their other-named stores. Of course, it's a bit crowded with all the tourists but it beats most of the other Orlando area locations for completeness. read more

Don't make it to the Florida Mall very often, but I desperately needed a dress for an upcoming wedding. Clothes shopping is a challenge for me because of my size. After looking at several stores at beautiful dresses that didn't come close to fitting me, I ended up at Macy's. Finally, I found a decent selection in my size. I brought a few dresses to the fitting room to try on while the attendant was arranging clothes on a rack. She completely ignored me, so I walked by her and began to try them on. One of the few that I brought in the room was perfect, so I went to give the other two to the attendant. She wasn't around, so I struggled to put them on the one rack, which was full. She walks by watching me struggle to put the dresses up. I smile at her, and say hi, and she keeps walking into the fitting room. I then begin to search for a place to purchase the dress. The nearest register had a long line with zero cashiers. I continue on to the second nearest register with one cashier helping a customer with a complicated exchange transaction. Fifteen or so minutes later I complete the purchase of my dress, which rang up at a much lower price than the one on the tag. To summarize: Five stars for selection and value. One star for customer service. read more

So if you just absolutely hate going to the mall, you can shop on Macy's online. I ordered an item and the whole process went very smoothly and was quick and efficient. It was easy to find what I was looking for online. The checkout and payment process was simple. The item I wanted was available for buying online/pick in store and was clearly shown on the website. My item was listed on the website as available and in stock for pick up at the Florida Mall. I was given clear instructions on how to pick up in the store. After I placed my order online, I was notified by email and text message nine hours after that my order was ready for pickup. When I arrived at the Florida Mall, there were designated parking spot for customers using buy online/pickup in store. How cool is that? The store has a dedicated pickup counter for buy online/pickup. The pickup counter was adequately staffed. The associate had to go in the back to get the package. The store associate completed my pickup transaction accurately without any issues. The whole process took two minutes. I am extremely likely to use this service at Macy's again. I will recommend this service to others who don't like mall shopping. read more

Really shocked to get closely followed while in two different sections of the same store by two different associates (including Mehar in women's purses and another female associate in luggage) Mehar literally would not leave our sides so that we could peruse the clearance table of Coach and Kors purses. How can I try on a cross body bag if you're at my elbow? I can afford to shop ANYWHERE! I don't need to be made uncomfortable when shopping. Today I was on line in front of the fitting room when a sales lady came in with a customer and walked right by me and gave him the only available fitting room of the two on that area. When I complained she just said I am sorry I did not know but she never asked me if I was on line. I left my two pairs of Levi's jeans, went to another store and saved almost $25 in my purchased. I was very mad but at the end I was happy to save some money and that this sales lady had so poor customer services. read more

This Macy's is second only to Millenia. They usually have a decent selection of items, and when I visited they had more designer brand sale items than Millenia, which I visited on the same day. Staff was very prompt to take my items and open up a dressing room. I don't always make it down here, but when I do I always walk out with a purchase. I am happy to see the store is open again. This is my favorite Macys in Florida. The first thing I saw walking in was a hand sanitizer station and the employees were all wearing masks. I saw several employees cleaning counters. I had placed an online order for my daughter's birthday and pick up was really easy.
