Went in store to buy a piece of material for our deck, they didn't have it so they had to order it. It was paid for and we were told it would be in the following Monday. It's now been 2 weeks and we've heard nothing about being able to pick it up but I can go online and buy the same piece and get it shipped to my house in two days. Wouldn't recommend purchasing from here unless you have no time constraints and want to spend time chasing down your order! read more

I ordered a pricey riding lawn mower recently. It was delivered when I wanted it and the mower is great BUT ..it was delivered uncovered and very dirty. It looked like it was sitting outside for a long time. The armrests are even faded. Not happy with Lowe's "customer care". read more

Prices and selection is decent. Mainly go for the plants. Customer service is a hit or miss. One of the people working by self check outs (name tag: Bev I think) is horrendous. She has zero customer service skills and was very rude. Which resulted in the low rating. read more

The store has a new store manager and service is much improved since visiting in the summer. It also looks cleaner, more organized and the shelves are full. The Christmas selection was outstanding with probably 40 artificial trees on display to choose from. We were there on Black Friday, Santa and an elf greeted us, there was only a short wait in the check out... way better than other stores we shopped. We bought a dishwasher that was almost half price after all the discounts AND it was in stock for us to take home. We will definitely be back, it was like a new store experience. read more

Excellent selection and decent quantity in stock. They also have a good selection of brand-name high-quality tools. Too bad I even had to leave one star. Went to buy several appliances and walked around for over five minutes and only one older guy was sitting at a desk and he never spoke. I kept looking around and he never budged or offered any help. Just sat there collecting his pay without doing a thing. Well. Guess what Lowes loss was Menards gain. I won't be back to be treated like that. This isn't how you treat customers whether they are spending even a dollar let alone several thousand. I had an issue with a product that was not part of their normal return/exchange process - the product was dead out of the box - and the manufacturer was not supporting the product or providing Lowe's with an RMA to return the defective product. The corporate and store staff stepped up to the plate to support their customers, and have gone above and beyond to get me a working product. The second one they ordered (to replace the DOA unit) was damaged by the common-carrier shipper, so they ordered a THIRD unit, which has just been delivered, and WORKS! Amazing staff; very friendly and knowledgable, and willing to get issues solved. read more

Our new windows and door were installed professionally by Joe, a qualified installer working for Lowe's. He did a wonderful job. He put plastic over the window openings while working to keep dust and bugs out of our house. We are completely satisfied with the new windows and installation. Another nod to Lowe's customer service. We got new blinds for those new windows. Those I could up my self, so we bought them from the store and brought them back. Carol was the store associate that helped us find the right sized blind for each window. Here's where good customer service ends and above and beyond begins. When we opened one of the boxes, there was no mounting hardware. I called the store and talked to Carol. She asked what exactly we were missing and said we could stop by and pick it up. I said it was a 40 mile trip I didn't want to make again today, and asked if they could send them to me. She told me she would bring the parts out to my house later that day. 2 hours later she arrived with the missing hardware. This is why Lowe's is my favorite home improvement store. read more

A good store for household items and tools. I get a lot of gardening supplies here, too. Although I can usually find stuff cheaper at Fleet Farm, especially vegetable and flower seeds. I do not buy bedding plants here because I am waiting for Lowe's to announce that they are not using neonicotinoid pesticides on their plants. Nothing worse than putting out flowers that kill your bees. There are times that you can make major purchases and not pay interest for year to 18 months. We have never paid a penny on interest on our purchases. Just don't miss a payment or they'll bill you for the total interest you would have avoided. We've had their crews put in our kitchen floor and our outer doors. Both jobs were botched. The kitchen floor buckled and the doors have a noticeable gap that makes our outer glass doors ice up and freeze shut on occasion. All in all a decent store to shop for anything but food and automotive supplies. Ask an employee where something is and they will drop everything and walk you to it. I like the fact I can buy lumber or plywood in the store and not have to drive into a yard to pick your stuff up, like Menards and Fleet Farm. read more

Washer came defective from the manufacturer. Lowe's stated they could replace it in 3 days. 3 days turned into a week. When asked if another store had it in stock and if they could get that and deliver it to us we were told yes and transferred to the "store manager" (actually the delivery manager). He then lied and said no other stores had any. When pressed for the truth he then said they were only displays. This was also a lie. I told him they can pick up both washer and dryer and refund our money. This is the 3rd appliance we returned to Lowe's out of four as well as a severely botched carpet install. Will not return. Spend your money elsewhere, it isn't worth the hassle. read more

I placed an order for 30 bags of mulch to be delivered to my home. Delivery window was today from 12:30 - 4:30. So we waited. Then it was moved to 5:30. Ok, no biggie. I called the store and the only thing the Customer Service Representative said was "the flatbed isn't back yet. That's all I can tell you." So yeah, her title is a misnomer. At 6:00PM I check the order and see it was moved to 8:00PM. Ok, so my dinner plans are now canceled. I just signed in to check on the order once again, only to find out the RESCHEDULED IT TO MONDAY. You couldn't CALL ME - especially since I called the store 2 hours ago - to let me know you weren't coming AT ALL????? I have gardeners here waiting on this delivery and now NONE of it will be here until Monday? Manitowoc Lowes, YOU SUCK. Amy Tim (store manager) should be ashamed that this is the level of service you offer. Absolutely astonishing that this is the way I was treated today. Lack of training, lack of service and lack of common decency. Someone should have called me. Disgraceful. read more

I went there today to return my 1 year old shrub that was dead. One person waited on me while another looked on. She keyed it in (I had my reciept) she said it was 4 days past 1 year so they would not return it. I went on to say that over the years we had spent boat loads of money there. The girl looking seemed to enjoy saying it was too late. I left the shrub and walked out. I came right back in hopes of speaking with a manager. I asked where the plant was and she pointed to the garbage and told me if I wanted it, it was right there. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was rude and would not budge. I told her the one workedrwas very rude and at that time the other worker said I was rude. I simply wanted a refund or a lowes gift card. I ended telling the manager how I worked retail for many years and never treated customers the way she did. Lowes is losing a good customer because I will never shop there again. Placed an order online, where it gives you two options for pickup: curbside (which I chose) and service desk. Very little signage outside the building to point out where curbside is intended (it's just the normal loading zone, NOT the "pro parking"). Sat outside the store for 20 minutes AFTER marking myself present for pickup in the App. Finally went inside to service desk...where I found several employees just sort of milling about, doing very little. It's amazing that they knew immediately what I was there to pick up, but proceeded to blame me for having to come inside to get my order. Not sure how that works... also not sure why nobody could bring it out to my vehicle like I opted for during checkout online. Don't offer a service that your employee's are too lazy and/or incompetent to handle. read more

Just bought a new lawnmower a couple days ago and the gal that helped me answered my questions without even thinking about the answers. She new her stuff.. Last year I bought a new stove and the same thing happened the staff new what they were talking about and my stove is still working great and I love it. Lowe's has been a good store in the past. I live 25 miles away but make the drive often... that's where the good news ends. I went there shopping for a GE chest freezer that was out of stock. They had a Midea freezer in stock that the salesperson represented as a top quality freezer by "the biggest freezer manufacturer in the world"; and at a great price too. So I bought it. Also paid for the deluxe Lowe's warranty. Installed it and a week later filled it w meat..running fine so far. A week later - two weeks after I picked it up it turned off & top layer of meat thawed. I unplugged it & reset & it was fine (yeah, I should have dumped it then). About two weeks later - 1 month & 1 day after I picked it up.. same thing. Called Lowe's, quick reply - one moth & 1 day it's not our problem, call Midea. Oh you bought the Lowe's warranty? Call back in a year, till then not our problem... I've left messages for the store manager 3 times w no response... So - be very careful buying anything more complex than a hammer & nails from this Lowe's.. something isn't working. So what did Midea do? After hours on the phone & about 20 emails -- absolutely nothing! But this note is about Lowe's. read more

They do not stand behind their products, they pass the buck to the manufacturers, and offer abysmal discounts to "compensate" for a horrible experience. I won't work with them again. purchased a Greenworks snowthrower. Used it twice. It quit working. cleaned it up the little bit it needed, tags were still on it mind you. Nicole, Head Cashier, followed policy to the absolute letter and said I could not exchange it for a new one because i did not have the receipt. I asked if there was a way to make an exception, was told absolutely not. I now have a $300 paperweight. Terrible service and absolutely no interest on their part in helping me. Policy is policy i guess. Other retailers will at least try to find a way to make the guest happy. I will not be doing any business with Lowe's in the future unless this is resolved. If I could have put negative zero as a rating I would ! Stay away from ordering fence materials from them, they have a twit of an installer named Ryan Rezak, guy has serious attitude issues and stomps around like a baby. Blamed me for a repair on fence gate that I need to have done, claims he can't repair it until sometime in 2020. Seriously ! Now says he won't warranty my gate because I made a layout change during install. That had nothing to do with gate, and he claims he didn't want to do the job in the first place because I am located an hour drive for him. anyways, well he did install it and got paid, this was a 4800.00 fence job, i now have a gate that's broke and he won't fix it. Lowes is god awful at handling complaints, I now have to hire someone else to fix it and hope that I will get reimbursed for my out of pocket costs. STAY AWAY FROM LOWES , THEY HAVE AWFUL INSTALLERS FOR FENCING, very unprofessional people . I am really disgusted by this experience and sorry that I went there in the first place. read more

I would give this store a zero if yelp would allow. We had a dryer purchased approximately 3 maybe 4 weeks ago. The delivery date was set and they failed to deliver after we had made arrangements to be home all day as Lowe's cannot give a time of delivery. We rescheduled the delivery which we could not do as it was over a week wait and we would not be able to be home. I spoke with the manager Harvey who stated call me when your in town and we will make it happen that day and time that I could do. I called Tuesday and scheduled for Thursday. I asked Harvey if he could guarantee the delivery be in the morning, he stated it would be in the morning. Guess what it's 2:30 and I still do not have a dryer. I called the store and spoke with Rachel who stated she would have to check with Harvey, her boss as he was doing this deal. She stated she would message him and let me know what he said. I understand Lowe's has there money from me and also has my dryer. I wish that this store was honest and did the job that they were hired to do. Now that we have wasted multiple times and costed us money, Lowe's gets a sale. I can say I will not go back to this store again. Depending if Lowe's in general reaches out maybe Never to a Lowe's again. It's 412 now and this is a review update. Still no dryer read more
