A few of the buildings seem vacant and one looked like it was falling down. My little one asked me what happen to it...she told me it was about to crash down. She also believed the boat captains lived in all of the buildings by the water because they look like wood shanty's. I didn't have the heart to tell the truth so I went with it. It is fun to walk up the boardwalk because there are some great views of the river. You can also check out the fishing boats too. Some of the captains will talk to you because they are trying to drum up some business. It would be fun to go out and do some sport fishing but maybe on my next trip, hopefully it won't be another 18'years. There are also some great places to eat here too. My personal favorite is the Mucky Duck Shanty for a Sheboygan Brat. It is the best deal in the area for $3.95 with chips and slaw. A pint of beer is $2.50 and that's a normal price...no need for a fake happy hour here. There are also other places too for coffee, ice cream, burgers or brunch. Just search yelp when you get here because there are a ton of great reviews. There is also plenty of parking in the lot. If it's full then you will see two hour street parking for free. There is also a bathroom at the north end of the pier but it is open seasonally. So if it's summer you are in luck but in winter you may be denied. If your passing through Sheboygan then stop on in. It is only about 3 miles off the main highway and you will have a great time too.

Always good to know unless it's the wrong season!

I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! They also have fun workshops to build your own bouquets and seasonal wreaths. Highly recommend them as a quality, ethical florist.

They were gorgeous - the perfect shade to match the rest of the color palate we were using for the service. When we arrived at the funeral home we were VERY disappointed as the roses clearly were NOT lavender. They were pink (and my Mother hated pink!) I asked several of the guests what color they thought the roses were, and they all agreed they were pink. When I spoke with the manager the next day, I was told the roses they used were their "standard" for Lavender or Purple roses. I shared that they definitely were NOT the lavender roses we saw and chose in their cooler when we placed the order. I shared that I was disappointed and asked if there was something he could do to make it right (like a discount of some sort?). He said there was nothing he could do as they provided the product we ordered. I did give them two stars, as the arrangements WERE beautiful and they did a fantastic arrangement in a Tanqueray Gin bottle that we loved. But we were heartbroken with the pink roses.

Funny thing was, the day I did that, there was a shark attack on my home break near where he was surfing and I would have been out there in Morro Bay if not for my WI trip. Whew! So I guess there was a reason I went to Sheboygan, and there was a reason I went to EOS to rent a good board (not some foam piece of crap like you get at most rental shops on the coasts) that was epoxy and got the lowdown on the best spots from the nice woman at the counter holding the door past 7 p.m. on a Friday night for me. And while the surf was nowhere near movie quality, I did catch a couple ankle slappers the next morning and got the stoke from WI of all places. I followed that up with a Packers-Eagles game in Green Bay's Lambeau Field, and I have to say it was an unforgettable weekend. Long story short, I have to thank the crew at EOS for the freshwater stoke. Thanks again to everyone there. I crossed another goal off my list because of you guys. And, it's true, they do have barrels big enough to fit a VW. I have the t-shirts (if not the gopro photos) to prove it. Stoked! B
