It works!! No squeaks or creaks, and completely solid.

I'll give 4 stars for the store, and 5 for the service. Why was I there? I had a king size bed sitting on 2 twin bed frames (long story involving kids and multiple moves to different states), with a big gap in the middle where the mattress started to sag. The crappy twin frames were metal and squeaked and creaked and made all sorts of noise. I'd had enough and decided I was going to get a new bed frame. Too expensive, no idea when any bought online would actually arrive during this pandemic, so I hit up Pinterest. Looked doable. Headed to Lowe's with just a rough idea of what I wanted and hubby's measurements of the mattress. Angelo saw this lost look on my face and helped with EVERYTHING I needed, including doing calculations, which screws I would need, choosing the right size lumber, cutting the lumber and plywood, and problem-solving for the most cost-effective way to do it. He was swamped since this is Easter weekend and everyone's stuck at home for COVID-19 (so people are getting home projects done), but he always came back to check on me and make sure I left with everything needed to do the job. Angelo was amazing. He never made me feel like I'm some dumb blonde (can't tell you how often I'm made to feel like an idiot at a hardware store because I'm a woman). Like I said, he had to keep running off to do other tasks or help other customers, but he always came back to check on me and was an excellent communicator. All in all, I spent half of what I would have on a cheap store-bought frame, my kids got to learn to hammer nails, and we had some quality family time making something useful together. Since they were so busy, I ended up spending a lot of time in the lumber department. There's a woman (can't them her name) that works there that is so nice and friendly. You could tell right off the bat she knew what she was doing. I saw her help several other customers, which meant working through her break time. She never complained about it - she enjoyed helping people get the materials they needed for their projects, and made me laugh. Matt was helpful as well. Even though the lumber staff was being pushed to the limit, he was jovial and relaxed and put everyone around him at ease. Because of this crew, I feel so much more confident doing DIY work and I can't wait to go back and bring more Pinterest ideas to life!

Why does Lowes offer curbside pickup? But they always require that I go into the store to pick-up?

This brand isn't carried in the big box shop down the street. Sure enough they carried it. Overall, it's a nice little community hardware shop. Anyway, it's compact inside. The aisles are narrow. Hubs and I meandered about looking for the cleaner. I was momentarily distracted with the gift section. Shelves were stocked with a diverse selection of hardware merchandise. We walked by three staff while on our search. Finally we asked two of them that happen to be speaking to each other. They told us where it was. Hubs and I walked over and sure enough it was where they said it would be. The pricing was on par to other hardware stores. Like it or not, they close daily at 5pm except Sundays which they close earlier at 4:30pm. Plus they no longer have bathroom access to customers. The sign on the front door states no public restrooms and the nearest ones are at the library and at Detert Park. The library is in the next parking lot and the park is about .4 miles down the street.

I returned on the 14th and was told they have a no return policy on tools . I was not advised of that when I purchased it . The manager said maybe the battery was dead . I went to my truck and got another battery and a DeWalt skillsaw and brought them into the store and showed them the saw worked and then put the battery in the trimmer with the same result . Their policy and lack of support is not in line with me . I will not shop there any longer . I will also tell my friends and clients to go to Lowes .

I thought they must've thought they were 2.5g bars and didn't realize they were 5g bars and was mistaken.. nope they genuinely offered me $300 total.. it was the most egregious thing I've ever heard in the history of precious metals dealing.. then I started looking at prices of their products and everything was ridiculously overpriced and after reading the reviews I'm not surprised as they are all terrible.. this business clearly does not do proper business practices and I do not recommend them.. if you're looking to buy/sell precious metals, jewelry, coins etc go across the street to Trassare Jewelers.. they're all stand up guys who do fair and proper business you won't regret it!

Seemed like just another jewelry-cum-pawn shop rather than an antique store so we almost passed it by. There were a couple women in the ring section trying on the most god awful looking rings. One actually said, 'I don't like that one it isn't big enough' all the while wearing rings that would only look appropriate on the finger of Gozer, the giant red eyed woman from Ghostbusters. Why oh why do some women still think size matters? We almost left but wandered into a backroom where some of the more exotic pawned items were on display including guitars, clarinets, other musical instruments, and various other oddities. You can find many interesting items here including some very old guns, some very new jewelry, a couple pieces of antique jewelry, and other sundry items. Upon leaving we noted the 25% Off Everything sign for February only. I wonder if anyone who had pawned their precious belongings would have gone back to reclaim any had they know about the sale. There was a really nice item in the back that I might have to go back for but I'm keeping that little bit a secret. Don't want any collectors who read this to find out.

Getting near check out I spotted some beautiful plates with hydrangeas on them that I thought would make us both happy . We I went to check out I couldn't tell if the cashiers line was as open. Cody, the cashier, sort of answered me that he was. I had to separate our orders apart for payment and it caused a long line. When it came time for the dishes I asked if he could wrap them. His reply was brisk and he said he would wrap them in the 2 small dish towels. I questioned it cause I really didn't want our previous dishes to break. I suggested tearing up a bag and wrapping them. He ignored me, so I started doing it myself. I realized this wasn't working so I just let him do it. At this point I did ask him "how would you wrap these if they were for your mom"? At which point he responded angrily "What does that have to do with anything?" Meanwhile I'm thinking I'm trying to nicely wrap these for my mom So they don't break, At this point I shut up and let him finish. He angrily finishes checking me out, overpacks my bag, and throws the receipt in. I'm a bit it shock by now and load the bags into my two carts and struggle to roll them to my mom. I go back and ask the manager who had watched all of this and she responds "we don't wrap dishes". I get to the door with our two carts and can't roll out the door because of the tall poles that don't allow you to go through. At this point two nice young men and one woman offer to help us carry the bags to our car. I start to cry and am grateful for their offer. Not one dollar tree staff offered to help us. Meanwhile the bags the clerk has packed are breaking and falling apart while these nice people help us. When I get to my next destination in town I tell what happened . The person says was the cashier a young man with curly hair? They knew exactly who the cashier was and referenced an incident from 4 years ago!! Needless to say I will be returning the dishes so I'm not reminded of this yucky encounter. I am forever grateful to the kind people that helped us carry our bags
