No one has called, called Lowe's 4 times, spoke to the PALS? dept, spoke to a scheduler at 10am, who said she would get back to me in 10 minutes! 4 hours later I called again, got her again and they say they can't come out until Friday! They can shove their carpet! I've been trying to speak to a manager, they transferred me to APPLIANCES, and when I said U needed to talk to a manager in carpeting, she put the phone down and walked away, leaving me hanging!! ZERO stars Lowe's Jackson CA's answer to anything that is wrong is to force the home owner to have to take another day off from work to have the whole appliance replaced. They do NOT check to see if all the parts are included before installation. Missing "kick board" to bottom of dishwasher was missing. They replaced it with a used one. It has taken them OVER 3 weeks to tell me they may have to replace the whole dishwasher because they are to lazy to contact the manufacturer to get the missing piece. RUN as fast as you can from here. Sadly, you will need to go else where out of the county to get your appliances. read more

Why does Lowes offer curbside pickup? But they always require that I go into the store to pick-up?

Our refrigerator went out so went to this Lowe's to by a new one. We found one we liked and got help from the sales person. Turns out it wasn't in stock so we asked if we could buy the floor model because we needed it right away. He checked with someone and found out we could. We paid and set up delivery for the next morning. We live up in the mountains with no cell service or internet so I specifically told that to sales person and gave him our land line number. We waited all day for delivery but nothing. I finally called the store and they said we couldn't buy the floor model and tried to reach me on my cell and email so theycanceledtheorder. WHAT THE HECK!!!. Very poor communication and lack of caring. We had to have one shipped from a warehouse two days later. Meanwhile our food is spoiling. Unfortunately there is no other place to buy appliances up there. read more

A few weeks ago, I visited this Lowe's from out of town, looking for a couple of patio chairs. A saleswoman (Meeka), who was working nearby, saw me looking at the chairs, stopped what she was doing, and asked what I was looking for and if she could help in some way. She helped guide me to a different place and look through everything until she found a chair that was just what I'd described. She couldn't have been nicer or any more helpful, and the same was the case with April, who was passing by when I had a question about the chair. What makes this store worth skipping, is that they will only open one checker at a time, thus attempting to force everyone to use one of the four self checkout counters left open. For years, non Lowe's employees have been saling strawberries in the parking lot. Never any problems until now. I asked a Lowe's employee why they can't sale in the parking lot all of the sudden. I was told it was because two customers said the strawberry salespeople were saling aggressively. The only aggressive saling I've seen have been from the Sunrun solar company salespeople at the front door. If anyone needs to leave, it's those guys. I stopped shopping at Home Depot years ago because they couldn't separate politics and business, unfortunately. Perhaps it's time to move on from Lowe's if this kind of behavior continues. You can probably guess the ethnicity of the people saling the strawberries, and the motives of the two people who complained. Very disappointed in those customers, and especially, in Lowe's. I started shopping at Lowes decades ago because it was a step up from Home Depot. Clean, organized and lots of checkers and help. Skip to the present and now you are lucky if you can get a checker. You have to go through the lumber section most of the time to get one. Lowes today provides very little customer service and acts like you work for them. I dont think they treat their staff much better. When I can I try to use the Jackson Ace Hardware where they try to really help you. It's sad but true. read more

This store took over SIX MONTHS to order all of the correct parts after they were fighting back and forth with cabinet suppliers Lowe's wouldn't pay! Their dropping of the ball delayed our kitchen for over six months and costs us thousands in delays. Lowe's store manager started not returning our calls, dept managers wouldn't call us back and we were left in the meanwhile with an incomplete kitchen! we gave Lowes MONTHS to do the right thing and they continually put their heads in the sand. Kept telling me they were sorry this was taking so long but didnt do anything to fix the problem. Cabinets were delivered end of June. they just now got finished almost 6 months later. I'll give 4 stars for the store, and 5 for the service. Why was I there? I had a king size bed sitting on 2 twin bed frames (long story involving kids and multiple moves to different states), with a big gap in the middle where the mattress started to sag. The crappy twin frames were metal and squeaked and creaked and made all sorts of noise. I'd had enough and decided I was going to get a new bed frame. Too expensive, no idea when any bought online would actually arrive during this pandemic, so I hit up Pinterest. Looked doable. Headed to Lowe's with just a rough idea of what I wanted and hubby's measurements of the mattress. Angelo saw this lost look on my face and helped with EVERYTHING I needed, including doing calculations, which screws I would need, choosing the right size lumber, cutting the lumber and plywood, and problem-solving for the most cost-effective way to do it. He was swamped since this is Easter weekend and everyone's stuck at home for COVID-19 (so people are getting home projects done), but he always came back to check on me and make sure I left with everything needed to do the job. Angelo was amazing. He never made me feel like I'm some dumb blonde (can't tell you how often I'm made to feel like an idiot at a hardware store because I'm a woman). Like I said, he had to keep running off to do other tasks or help other customers, but he always came back to check on me and was an excellent communicator. All in all, I spent half of what I would have on a cheap store-bought frame, my kids got to learn to hammer nails, and we had some quality family time making something useful together. Since they were so busy, I ended up spending a lot of time in the lumber department. There's a woman (can't them her name) that works there that is so nice and friendly. You could tell right off the bat she knew what she was doing. I saw her help several other customers, which meant working through her break time. She never complained about it - she enjoyed helping people get the materials they needed for their projects, and made me laugh. Matt was helpful as well. Even though the lumber staff was being pushed to the limit, he was jovial and relaxed and put everyone around him at ease. Why is the staff so rude! I practically live in this place but never feel welcome. I have tried to "kill them with kindness " but always end up walking out angry or frustrated. Yesterday was perfect example , the line was long so I literally organized my cart. All the upc symbols were lined up so scanning would be super easy! I get to the cashier and I let her know ,"I got everything all lined up for you !" She looks at me grumbles something about inventory and scanning and proceeds to pull everything out throwing it all over the place . A few items ended up under the check out counter that she just left there . When I said something she looked at me like I was supposed to pick it up for her!!!! One item was supposed to be free with a purchase and I wanted to make sure it was discounted properly.... Well, I made a critical error, I asked her to make sure it was taken off!!!!!! WOW! Note to self NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! She was not happy and told me to wait and find out . Hmmmmm ok! So all the checkout was done and it was time for the card. I asked again... her response was great, "I don't know you can look" That was my last straw. I had enough so she got back what she was giving! I tried so hard to take the high road but there are times when people need to be called out!!! What a day at Lowe's ! Oh for those of you that are thinking why didn't he ask for the manager? Why advertise curbside pickup if its not more convenient than going into the store yourself? I ordered 4 items for curbside. 2 cans of paint, a board and a garden hose. Apparently they don't have the hose in stock (sure would have been nice to know that when ordering), and the board they picked me out was so curved I had to run inside myself to swap it out. Waited 45 minutes, checked in at curbside, and only after calling the store did anybody come out, which took another 15 minutes. All the staff I've interacted with in the garden section and curbside are so incompetent that it's shocking they even have jobs. The amount of brain cells between these people could probably be counted on one hand. read more

I am beyond disappointed in Lowes. I bought a matching GE Profile Washer and Dryer at the beginning of the year. The washer, for lack of a better word, is horrible. It doesn't get clothes clean. It has a sensor on it and high end bells and whistles, but it doesn't even put enough water in the tub to get the items completely wet. I've even tried using the deep fill option, but it doesn't clean properly. The clothes are supposed to "bloom," in an action that happens because there is no agitator...but all it does is shift them from left to right, there is no other movement. I tried texting with the Lowe's online support, but they say that they are not responsible for it, that it is a manufacturer issue. I was then give several numbers, but they were either for scheduling of a repair, to check the status of a repair, renew a plan, or make a payment on a contract. Nothing to speak to someone about the issue of it not cleaning. Why doesn't Lowes stand behind the product that it sells? Isn't that what brings customers to your store, and creates return customers? All I want is a washer that washes clothes the first time! Is that too much to expect? Shouldn't there be someone who can help me troubleshoot the issue? The sales person really talked up this model as being one of the best! There was no issue with her doing that, but once out the door, there is no follow up, and I don't get any support trying to contact the manufacturer (which I really shouldn't have to do because Lowes was the representative for the product!) Probably the worst customer service Lowe's possible. I did an online order, all they had to do what deliver my pellet smoker. They delivered the wrong model, I paid for a bigger one they gave me a smaller one. Then no one will answer the phone when you call or they hang up on you. Okay going from the worse to the best!!! So we went back because we needed manure for our garden (yes ) we were dreading going back here but we thought we'll maybe it's not an appliance so it won't be so bad. Well at first we could not find a big flat cart but an employee walked by said can I help you with a smile and got us a flat cart. So we go to get the manure and there's only 3 bags but the same employee came up asked what we needed and said no problem let me get it for you and he loaded up in our truck. Come to find out he's the store manager (Terry I believe was his name). Not only was he super nice there was a security guard that went out of his way and was also so nice. (Didn't get his name). With employees like these we will definitely not feel like we can't go back there so thank you Lowe's for hiring wonderful employees like this. We will definitely be back. read more

My husband went in to buy a cut of carpet and was told by an employee only one guy could do it and was on lunch and know-one else could help. So my husband left for an hour and came back. The male employee, returned from lunch, said "oh we are out of that carpet come back tomorrow when it's in stock." The next day my husband came in and the same guy was again on a "break" and another employee said "oh man he will be out in a bit." Fifteen minutes later my husband was told, "oh yeah he will be out in a bit." A half hour my husband waited until the store closing in 15 min alert went off in the store. My husband couldn't find anyone to talk to in the whole store so unfortunately left without any purchase. The evening staff is the D squad for sure. Why such horrible customer service Lowes?! If I could give a zero I would. My elderly parents purchased a generator from Lowes during the PG&E outage. Two days after purchasing the generator it failed. We called the store to exchange the generator. My mother was told by a employee that they would be 75th on the list for a new generator. We tried to explain that we purchased one already and we should not be 75th. The employee said, "that's not how we do things." I personally returned the generator today. I asked to speak to a manager. The poor lady in customer service tried for 20 minutes to find a manager to no avail. Finally when she called for a "loan" for her register to complete our refund a manager arrived. I told him I worked for a company who has a relationship with Lowe's and it was unacceptable to be placed 75th on a list after purchasing a defective item. I explained that if I as a manager told a customer with my same complaint that they would be 75th on a list my COO would fly out to fire me... the Manager Mike told me his COO wouldn't.. I further told him that my facilities in the Bay Area wouldn't order anything from Lowe's going forward. Shockingly he said, "do what you have to do" wow! Ok Mike I will. De' j Vu I scheduled a service call for a broke down refrigerator 1 yr. 4 mo. Old. The vendor is the infamous A&E located in Dallas they schedule contractors ..they cancelled me the same day. I called on Monday and they have no one in the area..hmm there's Stockton, Lodi and Jackson. A&E tried there standard bag of tricks well give u an appt. A month out, knowing they have no one in the area, won't show up in a month, if I'm stupid enough to wait. Since I've dealt with this BS before in TX and I'm familiar with A&Es practices... I'm not buying this crap.. I again called Lowe's and get the same runaround..now a specialist will have to find a vendor..Really? I'm not the only person that's tried to use a warranty in Valley Springs? Lowe's really? I have a valid warranty and can't get Service!! I'll call Lowe's regional office. Same crap in TX. Then they had to get installer set up, took 4 months after they finally showed up it was wrong color carpet, they promised me id have everything installed and finished in one day. A fella showed up ALONE, said his helper didn't show up, so we told him wrong color, i came back in house after contacting lowes the first time, he ripped out all my carpet and cut it up so he couldn't re install it. Told him, we canceled carpet for now, cuz Lowes said we'd need to reorder to find the correct color (white) which they showed me white then out of 3 samples they showed me, i chose the lightest brightest white one they had what showed up was a light brown. A shade lighter then what s WAS in my house. Nothing close to the samples. I called spoke w manager, they said they were actually upset w me that i wouldn't let them install what they brought at a discount, " i wasn't being reasonable"" we aren't replacing your carpet, we aren't picking up all the ripped out carpet and pad so two days later it still sits out in my front yard, the installer talked me out of installing what he had w him, think he didn't want to by himself. To begin with, he took off said hed return to pick up everything he ripped out. Still sitting out front, im handicapped no way can i do it, I've called corporate 4 times now each call has no recolection of previous call so each call tells me i have to give them 24 hours to respond, but store mngmnts gophers told me " since i canceled their contract to install its my problem now and will not even remove the old stuff in ny yard, i called a different carpet store in sac. Before i told them ANYTHING he asked by chance is this lowes in Jackson?i asked how'd you know? DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES!!!I purchased the appliance package and spent over $3000!!! This was a gift to my 82 year old Mother after my Father passed away on Thanksgiving last year. First of all I did not know that installation is extra $500. So after they dumped appliances on my old Mothers lawn, We were confused. We had to call everyday and finally got a install date. My husband and I took off work and drove 1 1/2 hrs and no one showed up. When we called they said they knew nothing about our install. So set up another date and, GUESS WHAT? No one shows again! So after my husband got very upset they set another date and this time they showed up but Fridge front doors were not put back on right which resulted in Moms food spoiling($400 in meats). Microwave was tilting forward so plates slide into door. We called thinking someone would care!! I mean this is appalling right?? NOT!! Apparently this is just another day at lowes!! They said we have to buy another fridge and when they deliver that one we will get refund?? How does that make sense? If you couldn't get it right the first time why would we give you more money??? So now they said they will refund us our $ afetr they charged us 2xs for 1 fridge and how is it they can pick it up in 1 day but cant deliver for weeks??
