Longer Yelp version Positive feedback: I did not know anything about adjustable foundations when we started out. However, after going through a 30 day try out and return for refund from a Big Box mattress retailer in Folsom, I became self-educated. We went to Robert at American Mattress in Jackson and told him our current bed status and need for improvement. We settled on a Serta Motion Signature Adjustable King set with two 'twin ex long" Serta I Series Honoree Super Plush Top mattresses. We were in a spot, because the original return left us with only a Queen to sleep on and my wife's mobility was a factor. So Robert arranged for a loaner bed system for us to use until the new mattress/foundation was delivered within a week. His installation crew was very polite and professional even through delivery days presented bad weather and a long steep driveway. As far as pricing and buying local Robert was very price completive with the big box mattress store from the Valley. Robert was very flexible and patience with us and always exhibited professionalism and patience. Slight Nutural feedback: There web site could use more end user information about 'industry jargon" and a "definition glossary" with visual examples of what the "vast matress"size configurations are. Their names, dimensions and visually what they look like.

    I bought a couch from Dunlop a few years back and had great service along with incredible pricing…read morethen. I was in the market for a recliner and after checking out some furniture stores in the Sac area, I'd remembered Dunlop and how easy they were to work with. They have a huge selection of recliners to choose from. Toni helped me out and she was fantastic- very low pressure and didn't hover like they do at Lazy Boy furniture. I was able to try out several recliners, then brought my kids to try them, then finally my husband, who will be the King of the chair. Again, very low pressure and friendly service. We found the best power, leather recliner. The price was discounted due to a teeny cut on the back, hardly noticeable. I'm so happy with our purchase. Plus, they delivered just 2 days later (Lazy Boy said 2 weeks if in their warehouse, or 2 months if we had to order a chair) and it was free! I, once again, highly, highly recommend Dunlop Furniture!

    We wanted to support a local company, so we chose this store when purchasing a new couch. My wife…read morehas been experiencing back pain from our current couch, so replacing it was a necessity, not a luxury. We placed our order in November and were told delivery would take 8-12 weeks, and that we would receive a call once it arrived. After 8 weeks passed with no communication, I called and was given a delivery estimate of February 15. That date came and went with no call. When I followed up again, I was told there was a delay and that the new delivery time would be mid‑April, and once again, that we would be contacted when it came in. No one called. On April 3, I called yet again and was told the couch was finished and would arrive early the following week, with delivery to be scheduled by April 10. Once again--no call. I finally went into the store on Monday, April 13. At that point, they cited the war as the reason for delays, even though all of the promised delivery dates were before the war even began, which felt like a weak and convenient excuse. They assured me they would call within a week (by Monday, April 20) if the couch did not arrive. At my request, they issued a 10% refund. And once again--no call. What was advertised as 8-12 weeks has now stretched into over 20 weeks, with zero proactive communication from the company at any point. Every update we received required us to call or physically go into the store. We went couch shopping because we genuinely needed a new couch. We were never told it could take over five months with no delivery and no updates. At what point does taking payment without delivering goods become unacceptable? This experience has been extremely frustrating and reflects very poorly on their business practices.
