This Dollar Tree has a decent craft section. Better than the nearby Walmart, which is very limited. The employees are friendly and helpful. This is the only Dollar Tree I've been to that sells wine and it was only 1.50! I'll be back for yhe Jelly Jar wine it was pretty good. read more

As I walked out the door I broke into tears... I went with my 90 year old mother who had a lot of shopping to do. I ended up having to push two carts. Getting near check out I spotted some beautiful plates with hydrangeas on them that I thought would make us both happy . We I went to check out I couldn't tell if the cashiers line was as open. Cody, the cashier, sort of answered me that he was. I had to separate our orders apart for payment and it caused a long line. When it came time for the dishes I asked if he could wrap them. His reply was brisk and he said he would wrap them in the 2 small dish towels. I questioned it cause I really didn't want our previous dishes to break. I suggested tearing up a bag and wrapping them. He ignored me, so I started doing it myself. I realized this wasn't working so I just let him do it. At this point I did ask him "how would you wrap these if they were for your mom"? At which point he responded angrily "What does that have to do with anything?" Meanwhile I'm thinking I'm trying to nicely wrap these for my mom So they don't break, At this point I shut up and let him finish. He angrily finishes checking me out, overpacks my bag, and throws the receipt in. I'm a bit it shock by now and load the bags into my two carts and struggle to roll them to my mom. I go back and ask the manager who had watched all of this and she responds "we don't wrap dishes". I get to the door with our two carts and can't roll out the door because of the tall poles that don't allow you to go through. At this point two nice young men and one woman offer to help us carry the bags to our car. I start to cry and am grateful for their offer. Not one dollar tree staff offered to help us. Meanwhile the bags the clerk has packed are breaking and falling apart while these nice people help us. When I get to my next destination in town I tell what happened . The person says was the cashier a young man with curly hair? They knew exactly who the cashier was and referenced an incident from 4 years ago!! Needless to say I will be returning the dishes so I'm not reminded of this yucky encounter. I am forever grateful to the kind people that helped us carry our bags read more

Worst experience in my LIFE I went in to go get some supplies I got to the cashier Micheal I understand he is an old fella but he was just disgustingly rude to me for no reason! He had accidentally scanned an item twice and the lady in front of me asked him to make sure to void it I tried to put the dividers between mine and her items to help him out, he got frustrated at me and told me to stop rudely so I did, the lady asked micheal again to make sure that he voided out the accidental item he got frustrated at her and rolled his eyes and scuffed. It was my turn he greeted me and asked for a bag I told him yes he proceeded to scan all my items and didn't put anything in a bag so I had asked him for one as he scanned my last item he roughly tossed it to me and said "you're a real nice lady ARENT you" with attitude and disrespectfulness I haven't never experienced this in my life I hope you guys do something about this I felt so uncomfortable!!! read more

This dollar tree I love because it has most stuff that I need but also they need better employees. They are slow checking things out as a cash register and don't direct you to th correct aisle. read more

This store is going down hill in a rush. Got treated like trash today by an employee. I think his name is Ray, red hair, wears glasses and a man bun. I was next in line in a long line, he decides to open a register, help an older man directly behind me, I understand I would rather he get served first anyway. I start gathering my stuff to go to his line and he points out two pretty ladies and takes them ahead of me. I get it, he's a young guy and wanted to take care of the ladies. I got it. When I place my things down, he says, "I'm actually closed" and walks off. Another customer in line says to him" you should have taken him *me* first" He replies to her "there's a closed sign" which was already there when he decided to help the two others I mentioned, then he walks off and flips his hair lol! Not a good look Dollar Tree. Get your act together, this is a small town and everyone knows everyone. Tried getting in touch with corporate to give feedback but they aren't interested in it. They were well stocked and had stuff for graduation that I needed. I would have paid three times the price elsewhere for the stuff I got here! They even had balloons and fancy weights to go with them. The cashiers were helpful and friendly. I shop here regularly for cute little gift items that won't cost you a lot. Their greeting card selection is the best in Jackson! I would give five stars except some of their foreign food items can be questionable. Check those expiration dates! read more

This is just a update I have still had no response from corporate management or anything on my experience I'm still out the money but more then that Its frustrating . Also way to go on a little boys birthday balloon's he goes in picks out his dozen and is excited and never gets them because you mess up and have them ready days later in your store with my name on them hanging down for everyone to see thank god it wasn't for a surprise party then they could have blown that as well. but good to know they are screw ups we got a party coming up for 300 people for a 80th birthday party and guess who will drive out of town to a 99 cent store yep that's us. But hey it was no loss to the dollar store we spent alot on a little boys birthday party of 20 people can you imagine on the loss of this next party and everyone there after and everyone Else's who we can inform of the service we received and our product we were charged for and never receiver. Horrible Dollar Tree... Management is terrible. I overheard the manager tell an employee to dump hazardous waste outside in the dirt in back of the store. I couldn't believe what I heard. Managers are extremely rude to employees and customers. I will never step foot in there again!!! read more

In my experiences with the Dollar Tree in Jackson, CA. I must say... "Bravo". This store has come a long way. There are fully stocked shelves with so much variety of things we use everyday. Great brands, didn't over spend (at all) and I don't even like to shop! Great customer service! Line went fast! I was impressed! Keep it up DollarTree. read more

Admittedly I haven't been to many other stores of this kind, but this one would seem to be pretty typical of the genre and seems to have relatively friendly staff and apparently does serve a need here locally, I'm assuming. This store in Jackson Ca has really gone downhill. Its dirty and the employees are not presentable. The lines are always extremely long because there is hardly ever more than one checkout open. I was there today and there was stuff all over the floor and the windows were filthy. The check out people get stuck with long lines and the other employees are standing there chatting, not helping their team mate. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful. Considering the increase of sales and customer flow to this store, I would expect it to be in better condition with staff more educated in retail and customer service.. read more

The store is what it is. A local Dollar Tree selling cheap made in China goods. Same as Wal-Mart and Target just cheaper. What I find disgusting are the spikes along the ledge on the outside above the entry. Spikes to keep birds from landing. OK, if you have to kill every living breathing thing in an otherwise ugly, ugly parking lot. But to leave the dead birds on the spikes is disgusting. Mall management problem? If Dollar Tree pays rent they have a right to demand a less sickening curb appeal. read more
