Let me just say it was the worst shopping experience I have ever encountered in any kind of spiritual / Crystal shop with my family. The man in the office kept poking his head through the doorway just to watch us. Even our kids were asking why they keep looking at us. He came out of the office and straight up to me and offered to take my basket of items, which I was going to purchase, to be held at the register. His exact words were "I don't want you to get finger cramps from holding the basket." Already feeling offended, I then say in return, "oh I guess that means it time for me to check out." He then says he's not trying to rush me but we felt rushed the whole time because all eyes were on us the whole 30 minutes we were in the store. Photo is included on what was in my basket, which wasn't heavy at all to cause any finger cramps. How does that make sense? Wouldn't you want customers to buy more products? Also, the lady behind the counter tells me that the item on sale was to be paid with cash or debit only. I told her I was paying with debit for all of my purchases and then she rudely asks me for my ID which isn't required when using a debit card. Kind of a funny way to run a business. She checks my ID and says thank you Veronica in a very rude way. I asked her why do I need to be carded to use a debit card and she said because she doesn't know me and I could be doing fraud and if people can hack the pentagon they can hack your card. THESE WERE HER EXACT WORDS. Kind of a weird answer. What business actually knows all their customer's names? Lol This is ridiculous. I'm glad I spent less than $20 in this damn store and will never return. And I will make sure to tell all my friends and family not to go there either. This is not a way to run a business.

Even though its mainly geared to the "man cave", be the cave a multi million dollar mansion, trapper shack, or suburban track home... that's not to say you can't find items for the non man cave. The items are not cheaply made or gaudy kitsch, plus the items vary in price points to affordable through to the "say what?!" price. The inventory runs from new to vintage refurbished. Plus the owner always has some unique one of kind finds. Last year, he had a vintage restored warehouse scale. Currently, he has a stand up copper clad weather vane mechanized clock.. unique and beautiful piece. Darn I wish I took photos. But I get totally lost and forget to the each time. They didn't verbally tell us all sales final no returns, but we were expected to see the two small approx. 2 inch circles on the counter saying "All Sales Final." All sales final is not printed anywhere on their receipts. They refused to refund us for the item, so as a result of a $25 item they have lost a valued customer. Doesn't make a lot of business sense to me, but it's their loss.

Took the guided tour at the Kennedy Gold Mine. Both myself and my boyfriend had not been to the…read moreKennedy Mine other than passing by it when in the area. They have a large outdoor area that has some of the old equipment on display. There is also a small museum area and gift shop. They have a cute little area with trinkets you can purchase. They staff was very friendly, greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived. We had about a half hour before our tour started so we browsed the museum. There is a restroom located outside the museum in a building just across the walk way. Our tour was just over 90 minutes and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. The tour started in the museum, we watched a video on the mine as well as learned about the placer mining and hydro mining. We visited a few buildings around the property, saw how the large rock grinders work and the machinery used to extract the gold from the sand. How they tested samples. We were able to see the engineers office, the pay station, safe, office and bunk house. They have a small building dedicated to the 47 lost in Argonaut mine. It was really cool seeing all the machines they used and getting a history of the Mine back in its operating days.
