I went to Lowe's on 25th and Post rd. I was having an issue with an electrical problem in my home. I came across a employee, Ed Banks. I explained my problem to him and he immediately had a solution. I followed him to the right department and found just what I needed. This is the type of customer service that makes people return to your store. Thank you, Ed Banks. P.S., and give this guy a raise!!! read more

Returned an Induction range almost a month ago. I still have no credit on my account for the return. Sent e-mails to two managers at the store with no return email. I have sent corporate an email with no return email. I had to protest the charges with Synchrony to receive my credit. Horrible customer service. I have been a life long shopper there, but after this I will go to the Home Depot across the street. read more

I was greeted when I walked in. The staff was helpful. I went to browse. I'll be making a purchase later this week.

Went in a few days ago to buy some things and wanted to use my veteran discount. The gentleman at checkout was very helpful but told me I'd have to sign up online. Easy enough. Lowe's signup was not working. He didn't know what to do but directed me to customer service. They were completely apathetic and didn't even try to help me. "Just keep trying". Yeah....great customer service read more

We are using Lowes for our patio door and anyone thinking of using them, may want to reconsider! We have been waiting 3 months now and still no door. The first 2 1/2 months we found out the sales person NEVER submitted the order. Even though I had contacted him at least 3 times asking what the hold up was. Now, after finally hearing from them Aug 1st to say someone should contact us by Aug 7th and still nothing, I called them again today Aug 13th. The nice lady who I spoke to this time, at least was sympathic and apologized. She called the manufactor. The manufactor says they are waiting for parts needed to make the door. My husband is using a wheel chair, it does not fit through our current door so that makes it hard to enjoy the patio we had put in last year. I wonder if they would have had the needed parts back in May had the sales person actully subbmitted the order? This was way to expensive to start with and now we are paying interest on it as well! If you are planning to have your patio door replaced, you may not want to go through Lowe's Home Improvement read more

I needed some door & drawer replacements on my kitchen cabinets that I purchased at Lowe's in Madison Indiana. The Lowe's in Madison told me they could not order for me even when I told them the manufacturer said to call them and they would walk them through how to do it! I called this Lowe's and talked to Tony in kitchen cabinets and he was very helpful and got them ordered!!! And at a reasonable price!!! read more

Horrible customer service. Horrible process knowledge of staff. Will never patronize Lowe's again. Will strongly discourage others as well. They have yet to make right a horrible experience. read more

I've visited this store a couple times now when I've been looking for EGO tools. Both times they were the only Lowes close with the desired product. Located just off I 70 and post road, it's easy to get in and out. read more

My daughter and I went to Lowe's, on 25th and Post, to find a keyless lock for her front door. A passing rep used the intercom to request assistance on aisle 14. No one came to help us. Ryan, an employee, who was off the clock doing some personal shopping saw/heard us talking and took her personal time to assist us. I was ready to go, as this is not the first time I was ignored, in this store, when I needed service. Thank you to Ryan. She did not have to assist us and we would have never known she was an employee. It's that kind of customer service that allows me to spend my money at Lowe's. Ryan is a special person she even assisted us by getting the lock from the cage and deactivating the security tag that was not deactivated during checkout. Kudos to you young lady as you made a bad experience turn into an experience worth sharing. read more

5 stars for the loading guys in the garden section, I got a whole bunch of heavy pavers and huge bags of dirt and they helped load it into the cart then into my truck. Friendly and helpful! Best experience I've had at this Lowe's so far read more

Today, we had a delivery window between 8am-noon. The delivery arrived outside that window at 7am. Woke me up with a call at 7am and doorbell. Spoke no English, blocked my driveway while unpacking the freezer, pinned in my daughter that was leaving for school, rushed to switch out the freezer, acted impatient with any questions and left the freezer beeping while plugged in. When asked about the beeping, they just motioned to the manual!!! Terrible service! Just hire an English speaking person with a truck! read more

If I could give this store and company as a whole negative stars, I would. In May 2019 my mother purchased a suite of GE (junk by the way) kitchen appliances from this store. As well, she bought the 5 year extended warranty. She had a horrible time with delivery. Now the microwave quit heating. When trying to submit a warranty claim they denied it because salesman rang it up as a 2 piece laundry warranty. However, he charged her for the 2 piece laundry warranty 2 times. He told her that all 4 appliances were covered. I have been fighting with Lowe's for over a week about this. Today I have been on the phone literally over 4 hours with their warranty people. Still nothing!!!! DON"T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM LOWE'S!!!!!!!!! read more

When I first saw the reviews for this location I was a bit hesitant, but the stove I wanted to purchase was available in store here. I wanted to see it before purchasing online. The store was easy to navigate and find the stove section. We were quickly helped by an associate named Chad. He was so helpful. The stove I was looking at was cheaper online so I was going to purchase that way, and just had a few questions for him to answer. He immediately offered to price match the online price (Lowe's online price) and helped with all of my questions! He was extremely helpful and made the process very painless! I'm so thankful for his great customer service!! They do home deliveries, but don't install the stove. They do offer that service for an extra fee. Just a heads up! read more

We have always enjoyed shopping at Lowe's for our home needs. All of our appliances have been purchased at Lowe's, and today we were there shopping for a new stove. The sales associate revealed to us that Lowe's no longer allows military veterans a 10% discount in major appliances. What a disappointment that was especially since we are also going to purchase a garage-ready refrigerator when we re-do our garage this Spring. We have decided to research our options at Home Depot and Best Buy before we purchase any appliances now. So, any of you military veterans out there, keep in mind that Lowe's will not give you a break toward your appliance purchases anymore. read more

I always have a good experience at Lowe's. I appreciate their passion for service, taking care of veterans, and usually having the products I'm looking for in stock. I always run into friendly service personnel regardless of age. They do a good job at answering questions and helping when needed. Keep up the great work! read more

Placed an order online. It arrived within the window given. However, Lowe's charged us TWICE!!! That's 2 time!!!!! Once when we placed the order and again when we picked it up. We called CS and they tried to blame the bank. Hello - you had to send it twice for the bank to charge it twice. Lowe's then proceeded to tell me we would get our $ back in 3-10 business days. That's some shady shit right there. I informed them I was turning them over to the bank for fraudulent activities and we would never order from them again. I read other reviews where they charged some customer's 3 to 4 times for same order. Anyway, when we went to pick up our order they tried to tell us it wasn't there. We made them look again. SURPRISE! They found it. Instead of loading our appliance on a cart, Lowe's try's to drag it threw the store. SMH is there no one left who has common sense or a brain?!? In short don't buy on line! read more

After spending $1300+ on flooring and ordering a nose transition for my stairway last week, I though I would call and save myself the 10 mile round trip and call Lowe's on E. 25 th st. This is the worst Lowe's we ever had the misfortune of going to. None of the employees were friendly or helpful. Not a single one. Lines out the door and staff that blatantly ignores you when you try to ask for help. The phone rings off the hook too, you can't get ahold of anyone here. We left feeling very defeated and frustrated, we will never come back. read more

Came here to buy an oven for our new house and we were in and out within 15 minutes! Chad in the appliance department was so extremely helpful and polite when helping us and answered all of our questions and more. Lowes is your standard mega hardware store. Of the major three, this is the one I choose to go to. Menards is great for cheap products, but the quality is lower. Home Depot is where you go if you want the same thing Lowes sells, only you want to pay more money for it. Lowes has a pretty good return policy and decent selection. They tend to have good plants, but they don't compare to your local nursery. Bottom line is they are a mega store shipping in products from all over the place. I find the closer you get to the front of the store, the less the employees know. So if you have a specific question, head to the back of the store and find the employee that's stocking shelves or wandering out of the back rooms. If you ask people for help at the help desk, you'll likely be directed to the people in the back of the store. read more

The appliance salesmen actually know about appliances!!! Byron was so helpful even though we are out of the area. Very great.

I don't normally review large chain/big box type stores, but Lowe's needs it. It is truly remarkable how poor their customer service is. You can be in the store for an hour and leave without anyone asking you if you need help finding something (which you always do). We've had multiple cashiers not say a word to us when checking out, either because they're on the phone or just flat out ignoring us. I just can't get over how BAD it is every time I'm there. The only reason we come to Lowe's (and the only reason it doesn't get a one star review) is that they occasionally have something that we need that Home Depot doesn't have. Another reviewer mentioned that Lowe's is cheaper than Home Depot, but we've found the exact opposite to be true. In general, we tend to avoid this place like the plague. read more

This place has the most horrendous customer service. The manager Amanda was so rude and insulted to my partner. The employees do not do their jobs, and throw each other under the bus. I saw several cases of unprofessionalism within the staff that made several customers angry. I do not recommend coming to this location. Also Amanda claims that she is new when she has been with the company for almost 6 months. An elderly woman needed help with lifting a box and no one would help her. read more

We are frequent visitors of this Lowes. The setup and navigation is similar to other stores. The story is generally clean and items are most often in the right location. Stir associate are generally helpful but there have been numerous occasions I've had to search for someone or was pointed in the wrong direction by a rushed or uninterested associate. read more

I was looking for a propane tank and called Lowe's when a local Ace Hardware didn't have the right size. The first customer service agent was great! Welcoming and friendly. She transferred me to another department and the worker who picked up the phone was having a conversation for about 10 minutes with another worker. She briefly asked about propane to the third worker and then started using what sounded like a forklift. I was on the phone, listening to her work for 15 minutes while I drove to a Home Depot, was helped by a worker, and purchased my propane tank. At about 18 minutes I just hung up the phone with Lowe's. read more

Do not even consider going here, even if it's close and convenient. I am telling you that you will just waste your time. Half the time you call curbside or ask about the status of your order they don't even answer the phones. If they do answer you can hear them talking to another customer and then they put you back on hold. I bought a grill on a Thursday, wanted it assembled. Got a call that it would be ready Saturday or Sunday. The weekend came and went and no call. I patiently waited until finally I had got through on the phone on Tuesday. Turns out it still hadn't been assembled. The lady wouldn't even let me speak. I asked to just forget the assembly and that I would just pick it up. She then hung up. This Lowe's is so ghetto. If I knew that my experience would be like this I would HAVE never put in an order. read more

Lowe's is a case study in the economics of shitty service. As in, if you eat up enough market share and offer enough things to make your business indispensable, you can employ the laziest, least informed workforce possible, abuse them to the point where they become hostile to customers, and people will STILL shop there. Why? Because we need that one thing that we can't get at our neighborhood store or Home Depot. read more

Don't know what has happened in this store ten years ago it was a awesome store. Now all you see is crinkled upset faces. Employees that are so unhappy you want to actually try to save them. The new management is oblivious to the unhappiness and tension within the store. The management needs to really rethink their stance and think about their employees and customers. read more

About a month or so ago, I purchased 2 cans of paint from this Lowe's store. When I went to paint the room today, I realized they did not give me 2 cans of what I requested. Called to inform the store before I returned, as no I longer have the receipt. They told me to come in and they would fix it. When I arrived I was told since it was already mixed (apparently they mixed it off white or something) I would have to purchase a new can. I told them it was their mistake in not giving me the right can before. I was told I would still need to buy new paint. Told them to keep the "mistake can" and left. I will not be returning. Disappointed as I frequently shop at Lowe's. No longer... Waste of money and time. Cassandra Ames read more

They usually always have what I need. I agree with others that the store layout is similar to other locations. More open check out lanes would be great. The downside I have is the lumber area compared to other Lowe's locations. This one always seems to be in some sort of disarray making it hard to find what you need. read more

I have shopped this Lowe's for maybe 20 years and for the most part have found their employees and products to be superior to their competitors. Total ineptness... started planning a bathroom remodeling project with Lowes in April 2011. Contractor referrals received from Lowes either did not show up to do the estimates, or showed up and did not follow through on providing the estimates. Orders were misplaced repeatedly. Items purchased for later pick up were lost. It is now August and we are ready for the toilet to be picked up for installation. Lowes is now wanting verification that we did not take the item with us at purchase. We just got a call from the non-Lowes contractor that we hired stating that Lowes ran through their old security camera tape and verified we did not take the toilet at purchase. How can I politely say numbskulls?!! Total aggravation with this store on Post Road... avoid it at all costs! P.S. When I told the "customer service" employee that it was their responsibility to figure out the mess, she responded that she did not have to take this kind of talk from me!! Gee, honey, I was just getting warmed up! read more

I made a large purchase of a fence on 6-25-18 I paid for it with my Lowe's Card to get the 5% off. Then I came in the next day to pay my Lowe's card off with my debit card so I wouldn't get charged interest. The lady charged my debit card $607 and said it didn't go through. Turns out it did go through and I called the Lowe's credit card company, called the store, and then finally went in to the store. And none of them did anything for. So I finally have to call my bank to see if I can reverse the charge. Thanks for waisting hours of my time lowe's I think I'll be going to Menards next time.
