Purchased a microwave oven combination for well over $4000. Paid $390 to have it installed Was told by the sales person who sold it to us that we had 30 days once it was installed to make sure that we liked it. Or if we didn't want to keep it, we could return it, get a different one or get our money back. That made sense. Ordered it on December 10. They could not get it installed until January 21. When it was installed, the turntable from the microwave does not go around. Since it was installed last Wednesday prior to the cold, we waited until the weather got better and we contacted Lowe's today of Georgetown. Told them that we wanted to return this item and get a new one as we did not want to have a brand new item start being serviced We were told that we only had 48 hours to make that decision. Both my wife and myself were told in the store by the sales person that it was 30 days and when the installer came, he said try the unit read the instructions. We have 30 days. Contacted the appliance department and they could've cared less Asked to speak to the appliance manager named Krista, who refused to give her last name or employee number and started out by telling us that it was 48 hours and the sales clerk who sold it to us, was not there to defend themselves We asked the manager what that meant as we were not looking to get into an argument with anyone. We just simply wanted to return it rather than have service on a brand new item. She said she wasn't going to be abused that way. We did look at the contract and way down at the bottom it said 48 hours if it wasn't on a Lowe's charge card. Not complaining just advising every single consumer out there to either record or have them put it in writing whatever it is they tell you because you can't believe them We have said this to ourselves a number of times whether it be on a car, an appliance, a camera, tickets by a sales person who tells us these things and we don't ever check. We just simply believe them. This was the last straw. In the future, we will record all of our interfacing with the purchase of a high dollar item, and if they promise us something, we will ask them to put it down in writing and sign it. We used to feel embarrassed, pressing sales, people on questions and you call into their character by asking them to write it down or the trigger to record the sales process, but we have been burnt so many times. Last time we will buy from Lowe's or anything. There are other small businesses as well as other stores to buy merchandise from. Hopefully this advise this other shoppers before they too, are told something that is not true and they cannot prove it. Something to think about read more

This brand new Lowe's home-improvement store has been built in Georgetown, Texas. It's right across the street from Costco. It has a wonderfully big parking lot and a beautiful structure. It is clean. It is bright. It is inviting. It has a lot of wonderful plants in the nursery, although time is of the essence because fall is coming, so buy your plants now. There are a lot of people to help inside to find your home improvement needs. They have a beautiful appliance section, including refrigerators, bathroom, sinks, even floor rugs. You can have your keys made there or you can rent a carpet cleaner. They have automatic checkout, which is very convenient. The store is big and it is clean and it is well stocked. The prices are very good. They give a 10% military discount! This is also a great place to recycle. I highly recommend this store read more

This just opened and is bigger than Georgetown's Home Depot so I can't help being impressed with the sheer scale and the fact that they have just about everything you could need for any home project. It's quite a long walk end to end and everything is shiny and new since the store was just built from scratch. I like the fancy built-out kitchen examples and the garden center has a huge selection of plants and supplies. You'll find acres of lumber, hardware, paint, lighting, tiles, and tons more. I didn't expect it because I think of Lowe's as a hardware store but they even have things like a pet food aisle and appliances. I haven't compared prices, but I appreciate being able to go into a store and get anything I need at a moment's notice, and I can definitely do that here. read more

New beautiful store and very friendly staff but the signage is horrible. No signs off the freeway. No signage available as to the main entrance. There is one tiny Lowe's sign that is covered by overgrown weeds and grass. We tried to go in a back way because we missed the first exit off 35. You actually have to get off on the exit before inner loop going south. There is no back entrance if there is once again there is no signage. In my opinion the store will end up loosing a ton of business due to poor signs and directions. read more

So far, this Lowe's is challenging the generally low-bar for home improvement stores in general, and Lowe's in particular. Perhaps it's the honeymoon period after the new store opens, but I'm generally impressed so far. As one might expect, this new store is well-stocked, and fully staffed. The staff are generally very helpful, except for one fellow named in the lumber department who, while ultimately providing some useful help, was a bit brusque. Time will tell as staff changes if they can hold the line on the high bar they've set at open. read more

This new Lowes home improvement store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate. The workers are so friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience really pleasant. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot--the customer service and store layout just feel better to me. Plus, the location is super convenient since it's right beside Costco. Highly recommend! Currently, they have great deals due to their opening. A lot of selection availability with different brands. They also have military discount. read more

I am so disgusted with this Lowe's store. I ordered new blinds in home decor. When ordering they asked if I wanted the blinds delivered to the store so they could be inspected prior to coming to my home and the installer would bring them with him on installation day. The blinds came directly to my home instead. That was the first mistake! Then when The installer went to install the blinds they were wrong, missing parts. They told me that same day the blinds would be reordered, Now Weeks later my blinds have still not been reordered. I keep getting the run around and no one in this store knows who to go to about the problem. Totally ridiculous! The person in home decor does not know what he's doing. They just keep apologizing but not fixing the problem. The sales person Tells the customer one thing (which is obviously wrong) then back peddles because he made a HUGE mistake. I'm so disappointed, frustrated and disgusted with this store already and they just opened! read more

Appears to be a nice store when you enter.. but whatever you do don't ask a blue shirt employee for help. Michael , the blue shirt scoutmaster, will fuss at you and tell you to find a red shirt employee. Then tell you if you have a complaint take it to the front desk. I tried to find someone but no one to be found. . (And yes I've already called your customer service number). Maybe put up a big sign when you enter that says "blue shirt employees are just for display". Thank you Home Depot for helping me find what I needed. read more

We are so happy Lowe's opened a store in Georgetown, Texas. It is bright, clean and well organized. There are lots of choices to choose from. ALL of the employees were very welcoming and eager to help us find things. We checked out at the Garden Center and Ian R. was friendly and eager to assist us. It was a great experience. read more
