Though prices are higher than at HEB or a big box, I continue there for the advice & availability of things like compost and rooting stimulant, and find the crew under Mark's daughter to continue the good advice; and the somewhat higher price but greater variety and knowledge plus my pricing for customers of 1/2 the retail price of their plants bought there make it work out very well for me; and I've just bought my second Sweet Bay for MY OWN yard, recently, when the first, which made great chicken soup, froze during one of the frequent "SnowVid '21," SnowPocalypse '23," deep-freeze events... And bought sage plants for an office building I maintain in West Lake Hills, also...

This is a hidden gem and it took me a few years to discover them. Prices are cheaper than the big box nurseries and the quality of their plants is much better. All of their employees are very knowledgeable and equally helpful. I do like that they have a great selection of potting soil and fertilizer and they provide guidance regarding which to use based on your purchase. I've purchased a number of roses, a dwarf magnolia tree, and a number of potted plants and all are thriving. The dwarf magnolia is at least 12 - 15 feet high now. These folks are a great alternative to the big box store at the corner of 183 and Chrystal Falls.

I've purchased a variety of succulents, philodendrons, pothos, snake plants and other less common houseplants from her. All of my plants thrive. Charged a lot and when they messed up and…read moredumped rocks before outdoor lighting was moved/adjusted, the business claimed they were "uncomfortable" moving the lighting. The problem with this excuse is that 1/ They never communicated that to me and 2/ That's the excuse you want to go with for not doing something you said you would? Seriously. Rocks were just dumped over the lights and no correction was made. They didn't even attempt to correct the issue but rather sent me nasty emails when I held back $300 of a $11k project. DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY. If, for no other reason, they just don't take ownership for their mistakes and wipe their hands of the entire matter.

Our landscaper, Pedro's Landscaping bought 47 Italian Cypress trees in September to install in our…read morebackyard and now 4 months later we have 47 dead trees. I don't know what our landscaper paid, but we paid almost $9K for these trees. Checked with both my landscaper, Pedro Abundis and Danny at Circle D on what can be done to replace the dead trees and neither company will help or take responsibility for the loss. We are just out 47 trees. Both companies do not guarantee or warranty the trees. We spent a lot of money on our landscaping with Pedro's Landscaping and the lack of customer service is just bad business. I will not recommend either company to any more of my customers, friends, neighbors or family. I am really disappointed.
