Well the young guy got mad so the older guy was told not to help us further... I was going to Lowe's because they were really helpful. Now?

The management team at this Lowe's is amazing. We were looking at some grills and an employee came over and asked us if we had questions in which we did. He was extremely knowledgeable and then let us know he was the store manager. I was so impressed seeing him out on the floor assisting customers. As we were talking an assistant manager joined in. We had a wonderful time just talking about all kinds of things. We then went to the Garden area to grab the items we came for as we debated the grill purchase. After getting and loading up our garden purchase we decided to get the grill. We went back in and another store employee came to assist us. We told him we wanted to purchase the grill. We wanted to just get it in the box and he recommended getting it assembled. He explained how it's more difficult to assemble then you would think. My husband looked it up online and read the same thing on a forum. We were thankful for this associate giving us the heads up. So, we ordered it assembled and to be delivered. I can't wait for it to arrive. I was so impressed with the wonderful customer service we received at our visit today. read more

Bought a washer July 1st. Couldn't get delivery scheduled until the 9th. Took a vacation day so that I could be home for delivery since I work in fort worth. Vicky called me at 9:30 to tell me someone called in so she didnt know if my washer would be delivered. I told her I took a vacation day for this so it must be delivered today! She called back and said it was set for 4 -6. I waited all day and nothing!!! Finally called the store after 6 and Dana said all delivery drivers were gone for the day!!!!! Gave the phone to my husband and she hung up on him. I called back to get her name and she refused to give me her last name or her managers last name. I will never shop at lowes again. Worst customer service all around. read more

This was my default Lowes store for purchasing landscaping supplies, and during the spring season I made several trips to here to pick up mulch, soil, sand & rock, and plant life to furnish our big front yard project. On most visits I had plenty of help loading up my truck full of supplies, but there were 1 or 2 visits where I had zero assist, and other patrons/customers approached to help me, when no Lowes staff was available at all. I've also ordered online to pick up in-store, but only one cashier was on hand to help find my order which took about 15-20 minutes to locate. Occasionally good deals can be had at Lowes which is why I visit regularly. read more

I have called the nursery and the CUSTOMER SERVICE at Lowes three times each. The phone would ring 9 to 10 times and than I would be disconnected. This is not the first time this happened. The sad part is the store knows of this issue and can't seem to resolve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I am never asked if I need any assistance, and sometimes the cashiers don't talk or even greet you. Like today when I went in, I greeted the girl, and all she said the whole time was "Military discount?". I'd like to see more professional customer service. read more

This is the worst place I been. So many things happens when i come here, starting with employees dont know nothing. They are rude. They dont know how to use their own computer system. They're not on the same page whatsoever. In one store they tell me I can't do a phone sale. In another store they do but it cant be $700 dollars. Yet they cant tell me what's the maximum amount. In another store they do let me do a phone sale. In most stores employees dont know that the debit card and c.c. machines are able to process Samsung and iphone pay. I have to tell them how to do it. And even after i shows them politely they still get mad and are rude towards me. I only come here for the 20% of my customers that like to shop here. But belive me I will make sure not even my 20% of customers and everybody i know in fb and in person know about this so they dont shop in lowes anymore. Sometimes employees forget that we as customers pay for their salaries. Bad business wont bring repetitive customers. read more

I usually like Lowes , but I recently ordered 500.00 worth of custom blinds, they took about a month to deliver them I practically live across the street, than I waited and waited for the installer, I finally called them and they said oh you have to tell us they are in" guess what I did 3 weeks ago!!! Then the installers came out and did a good job but they left me all the 15 ft boxes to dispose myself. So disappointed with my preordered item. 9-6-20 went to Lowe's in Denton Texas to look at and buy a miter saw I seen online. When my husband and I got to store we looked to see what they had in stock. There was a tag on shelf that had the sku/price/ item description on it. The saw was not in stocked we wanted to purchase. So we took a picture of tag and went to customer service. We showed the person the tag and she said no problem we can order the product there and pickup when it comes into store. So we purchased the saw got receipt and begin to wait for the date on receipt 9-14-20.Well went up there today 9-15-20 waited about 15 mins and clerk comes up and says they do not carry this item anymore and gave me a refund. WHAT! Why didn't I get this information at checkout or a phone call or email saying there was a problem! I didn't even get a sorry we apologize for the mix up nothing ! Well then I ask to see a manager about this and he could not be found..Wow what away to treat customers Lowes needless to say I will not be back! read more

Customer service is extremely rude and not helpful. After explaining my situation with a late delivery, I was met with attitude and and excuse. After explaining the problem once more I was transferred without a word. I was not even told who or what department I was being transferred to. Thank you to the man in the lumber department that was able to figure out my situation with a refrigerator delivery. I did not appreciate the attitude or lack of help with the situation from customer service. We will not be doing our shopping here again after the way this situation was handled. read more

We bought a dishwasher at Lowe's back in April to put in our new house. We were displaced for several months waiting for our new house to get done. We accidentally lost the receipt for the dishwasher. After searching for days, we finally gave up and called customer service at Lowe's on 288. The girl that answered was so helpful. She looked up the purchase and she sent a copy of it to our email. She was so patient and kind throughout the whole process. Lowe's will always get our business. This is not the first time a Lowe's employee has gone out of their way to help us. read more

Lowe's has gone downhill! I went with my husband to buy some supplies for our yard and there was no one that could help us bring down the supplies! There was a man who had three people helping him but as I waited and they saw me wait for help they just left and followed the other man around. I was so surprised at how little help we can get lately at Lowe's, my husband has an injury that prevents him from lifting or getting things down and I'm too small to help him. I told the person at the register that they need to put more help around and she just looked at me like oh well! I'll be taking my business to Home Depot where I usually can get more help. I wanted a screen door and after visiting and not finding one we liked decided to check the website. There it was so we ordered. The wrong size arrived so we decided to return it to the store. Asked for assistance which took 15 minutes. We got a cheerful and quick refund and then it all went wrong. Asked customer service to place the order. She told us to go to "millwork". There is no sign for that but we assumed it was " Doors and Windows". There was no one. So we pushed the assistance button. After five unanswered pages and two intercom pages a worker showed up from another department and tried paging and calling with no response. I asked him if a manager could help. Three unanswered pages. At which time we left with no purchase. Ordered again online. If wrong this time there will be no further purchases from Lowe's. read more

This store is terrible. The bins are disorganized and poorly stocked. If you're lucky enough to catch a glimpse of an employee, they will be walking around staring straight ahead to ensure they dont get stuck helping someone. If you have the audacity to ask for help, good luck. The only reason I keep getting stuck here is because the other option in town is typically just as bad so you just get into a cycle of who was worse last. read more

My fiancé and I came in on June 30th to look for a refrigerator because we had just closed on our house. When we got there, our sales persona was very kind, but let us know that unfortunately they didn't have anything in stock or that we could buy off the floor that was in our price range ($1500). We went ahead and decided that we would just order one through the and we were told that it would be delivered no later than July 22nd. Kinda sucks not having a fridge for that long, but we thought we could make it work with our little mini fridge and a cooler for a couple weeks. Fast forward to today (July 21st) and my fiancé and I call Lowe's this morning around 9:30am to verify that our fridge is still scheduled to arrive at our house tomorrow. The girl who picked up the phone said "yes, absolutely, they will give you a call two hours prior to dropping it off." At this point we are getting so excited (because hello we want ice for our drinks finally) until I get a voicemail at 5:00pm saying "hi, it looks like you ordered a fridge and unfortunately we still don't have it, so it is being delayed further." .... umm what. So I tried calling back SIX TIMES. Two of those times, someone picked up the phone to just hang up on me. I finally had to call someone in the lighting department to find Madeline or Madeleine (couldn't tell over the phone). They transfer me to her and I let her know everything that I just typed out. She listened to what I had to say and she apologized for the run around and being told that I'd for sure receive our fridge on the 22nd when that wasn't the case. She went ahead and found a fridge that she had in stock that was almost identical to the one we purchased and this one was actually more than we paid, so we are grateful. She let me know we would have to return the fridge we purchased and re pay for the new one so I would have an updated copy. Right as I was asking what I needed to do to repay, the phone hung up. Soooo I called back. And the new girl who picked up the phone had a bad attitude. She obviously knew who I was and told me Madeline had left for the day and that she could only take a message. So. I repeated myself all over again for her to then tell me I didn't need to do anything and that Madeline was handling it. I said "okay, thank you" and I couldn't even get a "you're welcome, have a good day" all I got was a "mmhmm" and *click*. I work in retail and I know things are crazy right now due to Covid, but c'mon, a little customer service goes a long way. read more

Called seven times in 30 min never getting a department to answer/ help. If they cant answer the phone and help not sure their service will be adequate. Ms/Mr Manager, call your store, ask for a dept like appliances, and see if you get a response you expect as a customer. All i wanted was to ask a few questions about a product. The service at this Lowe's is embarrassing for the business. Two or three employees will stand at a register ignoring customers talking amongst themselves forcing you to all but literally step between them to get them to pay any attention to you. I asked to get a board of plywood cut and you would have thought I asked them to build a house. One guy huffs a bit and walks off toward the machine without saying a word... I guess he's helping me. He didn't offer to help carry the plywood leaving me and my girlfriend to carry it. This stuff isn't light and she ended up dropping it and busting up her ankle pretty bad. By the way, we would have used a cart, but there were none to be seen as we later found out, they were scattered across the parking lot. I guess chatting at the register is more important that providing these for customers. Anyways, I got what I went to the store for, but only after feeling like an ass for bothering the employees and now I'm tending to my girlfriends ankle because a grumpy employee didn't dare offer up anything but the minimal service. I understand it's a big store and hard to manage all these people, but I've been to Lowe's a number of times now with the same treatment. This isn't atypical. But I'll be going to The Home Depot now, where they try to up-sell you, but it's better than being ignored. To Lowe's: Please talk to your employees about customer service. They carry everything but love and underpants here. The place is huge and I've never been here where I cannot find what I came for. I had been using those blue-water drop-in thingies to make my toilet water blue for a few years - not knowing that they rust out your toilet hardware (oops!). Things started leaking, so I knew I had to get the parts to fix it, but everything was so corroded, I wasn't sure how how to take the stuff out of the tank without damaging the porcelain - so I brought the toilet tank with me to Lowe's. I put it on one of those big flat carts and wheeled it to the plumbing section. I pressed one of the red help buttons in the aisle, and immediately, an automated voice announced that a customer needed help in the plumbing department. Very quickly, a knowledgable young man came to my rescue. He helped me remove the corroded hardware and helped me pick the right accouterments for the repair so I would not need to make a return trip. He also informed me that the blue stuff was the culprit, so my purchase would last longer. Good, honest folks work here! read more

So I called them to see if they had an item in stock... After 5 minutes of holding I decided to drive there and see if I could beat them to the punch. So I stayed on the phone still on hold and I got there in 10 minutes and asked someone if they had what I needed. (Fence post driver) I was sent in a couple of directions to look to no avail. At 25 minutes of holding someone came on and I asked them if they had it, they said they don't carry it. Awesome. read more

But not worth it for this type of after the sale service. this has been the same for the past two times I've needed customer service, I don't think they give their employees enough tools to help the customers. 1 star is being generous......Purchased flooring from this store. The company they contracted to install the floor was awful and left the floor with grout on the tile and haze. No one was notified about the exterior door that only opened 1/4 of the way, 2 weeks went by then someone was sent out, after I had called multiple times to check up on this. Then someone finally came out and they have to ask their door company they contract out to what to do with the door...... have been promised multiple calls back with no luck, hence why I keep calling. Asked if I could talk to a district or regional manager, was rudley told they dont give out that information. If I were you I would not waste your time at this store, at least with the install and managment team, because I have gotten no where with them. Very disappointed. Went to the store on Saturday and bought a refrigerator and a microwave. They said they would deliver it on Sunday afternoon. At 12:00 they called and showed up. They had to move my old refrigerator off the back deck and then bring the one from inside the house out to the deck. They brought my new one in the house and set it up. James and Chaz were polite and very courteous. They got it done quickly and neatly. Thanks guys!! read more

I placed an order for a new front door 8/19/2018. It was supposed to be installed on 10/5/2018. Today is 10/24/2018 and I still don't know when I will have a new door. They damaged the door at the store. I found that out on 10/5/18 -the day they were supposed to install the door. They never called back to tell me what they were going to do. I called back 10/11, the person on the phone promised a return call the next day. No one called. On 10/13 I went to the store and spoke with the store manager - Craig. Craig called me a few hours later suggesting I accept the damaged door. It only had a gash in the side -the hinges would cover it up - they could caulk over it. He did not offer a discount. I declined the damaged door. He promised to call the manufacturer on Monday to expedite the door. On Monday, 10/15, Courtney from Lowes called to say the Door would be in Nov 7. She said she would speak with her manager about the install and adjusting the date of the promotional financing and call me back. She did not call back. On 10/17 I called and spoke with Hailey. She said she would check on the promotional financing and installation. I asked if Lowe's was going to provide a discount for the comedy of errors that I have experienced. She explained they always do that after the work has been done. Surprise! Hailey never called back. On 10/22/2018, I called the Complaint line at Lowes and spoke to Bernard. He said someone would call me within 24 hours or less. That the store manager would have the report in less than 2 hours. Today is 10/24 and I have not heard from Lowes. Lowe's charged my credit card on 8/24. So I have been paying for a door for two months. The store can't seem to get it together. They will not extend me the courtesy of providing accurate information or returning my calls. It seems they say what they need to say to get you off the phone or out of the store. Calling the Corporate Customer Care number did not help. They merely pointed the problem back to the store. They did not want to call it a complaint. read more

If I could give this Lowe's a negative about of stars I would. I purchased flooring and installation for my house at Lowe's. The installer showed up and stated the floor needed to be leveled which I expected because my home is older. They called and told me it would be 1500 dollars to level 380 square feet!!!! I have a copy of a quote from them originally quoting me at 1000 max price for leveling. When I told the installer I was going to to store to purchase the leveling he said he was going to pick up the bags of concrete we left the house at the same time. Only to find out after I purchase the company canceled him for the day. I feel that I was tricked and lied too to get me to spend money that day only for them to not follow through on there end of the deal. read more

Lowe's did my siding a little over a year ago and this is the second time it has blown off. Has buckled up several times! Literally looks like a 5 year old did the job.. told me 3 weeks ago they would send someone out to repair it and nobody showed up. I called back today and they told me there wasn't anything they could do because my warranty had ran out! We went with a short list of things that was fairly specific, but left before getting even half of it after a full hour of trying. It consistently took 5-10 minutes to find a worker each time we needed someone to help us find something. The workers we did find either didn't even know the products in their zone or were surly and rude. The most helpful person in the store was a fellow customer that witnessed us desperately trying to find a worker and just helped us out of kindness. The store is also very bad if you are disabled. They have a sign saying handicap accessible, but it isn't even a little bit. Many aisles were too narrow for my chair, the store's power chairs were dirty and broken/rickety), the corners were often too narrow for making turns so I always had to go the longest way around to things, and there was stuff just piled up in the aisles, including employee carts and displays. I could hardly move around. We are now officially Home Depot customers; we will never go back to Lowes. TL;DR Unhelpful and not handicap accessible. Never going back. Terrible customer service. I bought a product online, which they had in store. Went to the customer service desk and nobody was waiting in line, only people there were two employees talking. They kept talking for a minute or two, which I didn't mind. It was clear one was getting off work and before he left he needed to tell the other one some information on how to do some work related stuff. Once he left though the woman seemed perturbed that she had to help me. I told her I had an online order to pick up. Instead of scanning the confirmation email that I already had pulled up to give to her, she had me read the order number out loud several times, she couldn't type in the number right. I asked her if she needed my ID (which I already had out), she said no even though that is what their pickup store policy is. Another worker came over and she asked him to go get it. She told him the information, he took off, and she said it would be a few minutes. Well, it was more than a few minutes and he came back with the wrong product and left. I was stuck standIng there waiting a couple of more minutes because she had started helping other people. After she was done she was like: that's the wrong order. So she called the guy again and told him the information. I waited there for over ten minutes. She called him agaIn, told him the same information. I waited there for a long time until a different employee finally came up with the correct order. He was mad and snippy with her because apparently she had told them the wrong location to get it.... Also, their wood cutting machine was down so I had to go to Home Depot for my other products. -- Moral of the story, save your time, go to Home Depot first. read more

It's 845 and they don't close till 10 PM. Another customer had already been waiting for over ten minutes for help with the ceiling fans. I needed help with the ceiling fans and asked the service desk to page someone. 10 minutes later I asked them to page someone again. Five minutes later I go back and this time a young lady says can I help you find something, I give her an item number and she says they have two in stock. I say none are on the shelves can someone help me find one it's been over 15 minutes alteady. The other customer left and eventually I left. The sad thing is is the store is nearly empty. I get out to my truck and I see six employees standing in the parking lot talking. read more

Lousy service, clerks standing around talking and ignoring customers. I looked and looked for the item I needed but couldn't find it. The ONE clerk in electrical was busy. I went home, ordered the item on-line, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, the website told me it was available for immediate pick -up in store, drive back to the store and wait for them to retrieve the item. WOW, wouldn't it have been easier for everyone to just see if I needed help? This is the usual service I receive at this Lowes. read more

The Only reason I gave this place one star is because I had to. I spent 45 minutes waiting for someone to show up in the appliance area.I Pushed the button more than 7 times before getting a response. I was greeted with 3 workers who would not work with me they continued to tell me the same thing and would just push me onto a different worker instead of helping me. I asked one worker at the bathroom section and he replied with "I'm busy" and walked away. I do not recommend you buy any thing from them or you will have to wait for 7-10 days. read more
