I had a really good experience here today when I stopped by to buy some shampoo for my dog. Online I learned that they carry a particular shampoo the is good for a skin condition one of my dogs has, so I knew I would be close to the store and I decided I would just stop in. Tomorrow is bath day for all my dogs so I did not have time to wait on shipping. When I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance with anything. When I told them what is was there to purchase, they led me right to it. The price seemed pretty fair to me and I was pretty excited to get a good value! I also picked up some dog treats , of which they had a pretty large selection. In fact I was amazed at all the goodies they carry here. read more

Tractor Supply Co. at 1200 S Loop 288, Denton, TX 76205 This farm/tractor hardware store is somewhat amazing. Well the star of my purchase today was this griddle. They had like 10 in stock when we first looked at it and they were going for right at $250 plus tax 12/2025. Which is an amazing discount at this time. This is the holiday season so check your pricing before you go but if you do get a good deal. This is your best decision you will make for the Holiday Season . The "Even Embers" griddle made this trip perfect. Finding such a discount deal at your local store is one of the most amazing feelings during the Holiday Season . I've been here at least three times since we purchased this griddle and I keep finding more and more good deals. All the associates in the store are very helpful and attentive to your needs. I've only been here a handful of times, but I seem to always forget how impressive this place is! You can get everything here!! They have a good size parking lot and the store has a lot of square footage. I usually see employees loading a customer's vehicle when I arrive. They have trailers marked for rental outside, they host a vet clinic and on my last visit I saw baby chicks inside. They also sell and rent large equipment- as their name suggests, that includes tractors. I will admit that I am being conservative in my rating considering this place is like a playground to us. I do have several reasons for that. First, I'm not the type of customer this place is geared towards and am ignorant on the quality and pricing for products needed by horse owners, farmers and well...anyone who has a tractor. Disclaimer: I don't have or need a tractor! I am always a bit weary about rating a place when I am not knowledgeable on their products or I am not the target audience. Second, I wasn't adversely affected by this, but I got the impression there is some sort of staffing issue. Perhaps a little short handed with a mix of newer or possibly less motivated employees? I found so much here, but they were also behind on their stocking and rotating in of the new products as the clearance sold (and should be condensed) on both of my recent visits. That's a huge job, which is why I lean toward short handed, but there were also multiple wandering employees who weren't working the floor or helping customers or even looking in my direction. What I will say is the 3 employees I came in direct contact with my on my second to last visit and the 1 employee I came into direct contact with on my last visit were all polite. I will also say that on my last 3 visits I have gone in for exactly 1 thing, usually something I find immediately, like weather stripping, and then leave there with $70 worth of pet stuff, lol! They have a section of clothing and shoes, a huge pet selection including some of the best prices I've ever seen on pet beds, hardware, automotive, organizational items, knives and knick knacks. That's just the stuff that caught our attention, there are of course generators, a variety of things for horses and a bunch of items I can't readily identify (hence my earlier statement and rating). Regardless, this store is great and worth checking out! I bet you find at least one thing you need and something you didn't even know they carried! What's that? Oh right. Yes, yes, I'll tell them. My dogs want you to know they approve of both the beds and treats sold here. :) read more

I came in at about 8:15pm on 9/28/23 at the location in Denton off of loop 288 because I wanted to check out the store for supplies and other items for a pet! Unfortunately, not all my customer needs were met. Upon check out I was not greeted or acknowledged.. The cashier did not ask me for my phone number as she was engaged with another employee sitting on top of the register on their phones. I am a cashier at a local pet store here in Denton and I am just flat out dissatisfied with the customer service specifically. Regardless if it is 45 minutes before close I would've at least expected just a little bit of customer service as I understand it is the end of the day. After checking out a gentleman behind me was asked what his phone number was and was greeted immediately (he was probably a regular) But I personally just felt disrespected because I know what it's like to be a cashier and I know what good service is and what bad service is as well.. Bunch of kids and inexperienced folks running g this show. Pathetic service. I feel bad for them really. They either need to do some serious training, or hire about 5 more people for the Sunday afternoon shift. Maybe just don't come here in the weekends. Lowe's or Home Depot probably has it and you'll be out of there much faster. read more

I went for worm treatment for my dogs and everyone was very helpful but I'm writing this review primarily about the cashier. The lady ahead of me in the line talked to her so badly and kept calling her "girl" because she didn't like how the lady bagged her plants and the cashier handled herself so well. I can't imagine how I would've reacted to someone talking to me as nasty as that woman spoke to her. Kudos to you! read more

Came here to pick up a few things that I could only find at this particular store. This was my first time coming to TSC and it has a solid selection of items to choose from. Their prices are very well priced and have a lot of hardware to choose from. The staff is very friendly and more than happy to help you out with any questions you might have. Once we move into our house, I can definitely see myself returning here for those outside items that you can't find anywhere else. read more

we drive up from lewisville just for dog food, supplies and my husbands work gear...store is always well stocked. plenty of parking. can find some great deals. i got huge pumpkins for fall for $1.99!!! my problem is they need to reel in their vendors a bit. got harrassed non stop by steve the blue buffalo dog food (not a brand i reccommend with my history of canine care) tried to be nice and he still wouldnt stop pestering us even after we declined everything and said we werent interested. wanted to be in and out quick. great store but maybe ask the vendors to not be pushy. read more

I have a friend who has been dealing with a broken tiller for almost a year now. She purchased the 3-year Power Plus warranty ($49.99) and has been without a working tiller for 5 weeks now. Now, after hiring me to deal with this for her, I have been lied to by Tractor Supply Company and Power Plus. Apparently the tiller is still under the manufacturer's warranty and so, it appears, that both TSC and Power Plus are mendacious and have stolen money when the tiller was still under the manufacturer's warranty. Update: After calling the Denton store 3 times I was FINALLY called back by the manager, Christopher Ashby this morning. (He doesn't seem to be at work much and the other employees have been instructed to not give out his email address or their employee IDs. Something is fishy. TSC has refunded the cost of the tiller but will not refund the cost of the worthless warranty. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY Crooks. read more

a warning to all!! do not shop tractor supply for anything. we bought a truck box on may 27th this year. it broke on one of the supporting sides. we tried to take it back to them figuring they would honor there product? but no!! they said they can not warrantee the product. the weld did not break the stronger part of the metal did??? plus they ask if how they can be sure it is there product?? there product tag is affixed to it! duhh! read more

Love the store for quality, sometimes pricey, and rarely can find an available large cart for feed bags while shopping. They have everything you need, and seem always busy. Helpful....depending on who you ask in store. Customer service needs sharpening, but will continue to shop there due to quality and stocked items. read more
