Do not buy anything with a credit card from Lowe's. They must have been hacked. Purchased one large order on line and our credit card was charged multiple times. We were double billed then 6 more smaller charges and no explanation. We contacted Customer Care and they only saw the one charge and didn't seem interested in the possibility that they have been hacked. They said there was nothing more they could do. No concern about losing our business and a $1000 order. We also spoke with our credit card company who confirmed that there were bogus charges and promptly closed our card and reissued a new card. Very inconvenient during our major renovation. Lack of concern by Lowe's was very frustrating. read more

Do not go here if you have any questions of any sort from the staff. Out of five guys in the pro desk area none of them were willing to try and help locate materials or answer questions. Then, after buying an online order, the lady tried to explain how refunds to personal bank accounts are given as statement credits. We purchased a new refrigerator from Lowes. The delivery was fine. When they went to hook it up they noticed there was a water leak. We got the leak fixed in the piping. but due to having to move the refrigerator in and out, it still needed to be leveled. The installation contractor said they weren't allowed to level it. When I contacted Lowes they were unconcerned and said that I needed to wait until Thursday to get it fixed. I had food that needed to be refrigerated and given how quickly I thought the fridge would be properly installed and I could put things back in pretty quickly this was a problem. As it wasn't leveled it was not practical to do unless it was pretty empty. I found the manager and customer service at the warehouse to be unconcerned. Things happen, but the unwillingness and lack of concern I experienced with lowes management and the warehouse customer service makes me hesitant to do business with them again. This Lowe's is a little out of the way for me but I have visited a few times... Almost always after a trip to IKEA. I visited over the weekend with my mom and sister as we needed supplies for a project we were working on. While it took a little while to find exactly what we were looking for, they had everything we needed and the staff was nice to point us in the right direction. The place was clean and organized, parking was a breeze, and check out was easy peasy. I didn't notice a lot of health and safety measures except for the "masks required" sign on the door, but I also didn't see anything concerning. Overall, I always choose Lowe's over the other big box hardware stores and this location is far from the worst in Columbus. read more

The workers at checkout could not figure out how to get the scanner to accept payment using the gift card. They explained it was my fault basically. In addition the workers tried to add on an extended warranty after I told him no. This is the second time that I tried to use a gift card at this Lowe's and it never works. Walked out and bought one at Ace Hardware using the gift card toward payment. read more

My standing freezer gave up the ghost last week, so I grabbed my dad and his truck and off to Lowes. I'm equidistant between 3 locations, and he preferred Polaris. Well, I scored a great find in the scratch and dent section! Half off a pretty fancy unit due to a dent in the door that was all cosmetic. We looked to the left and got a major steal on a dinged up gas grill as well! There didn't seem to be any regulars in the appliance section - neither of the staff members we spoke with were familiar with the department and policies, and it didn't look like anyone else was coming. A very nice and helpful team member helped us load the truck and we were off to install. I don't recommend carting a wet freezer down your basement stairs when it's 90 degrees and rained on it, but that isn't to do with Lowes! I do believe they do delivery and install, but same day doesn't appear to be an option, and I needed a freezer and fast. read more

We needed wood pellets for our stove. The Lowes closest to us did not carry them. No problem, this place is near Costco. We found the pellets. Hubby loaded them up on the flat cart. 40 pounds each. Heavy and I am of NO help. Since we are in Ohio, the cart wanted to go right. We struggled trying to pull it left or at least have the cart go down the middle. JZ at self checkout immediately rushed to help. Then noticing our age got someone to cover for him and insisted on loading the 10 bags in our car. I thought JZ was young, turns out he is nearly as old as us but soooooo strong. Too often people just do their job without actually seeing their customer. I wont hesitate to return here. Yes JZ stepped up but so did others who stepped up to cover for him. I left feeling I mattered. It's a good feeling. read more

Yet another terrible experience with Lowes. Making a larger purchase with a $300 Lowe's gift card the girl at the checkout scratched off the pin number so hard it was unreadable. OF COURSE Lowes wasn't able to help me at the store, so we had to spend an hour on the phone trying to sort things out. Still not sure if I'm out the $300. They have lied to me on the phone about shipping in the past making me burn PTO. So not my first bad experience with them, but it will be my last. This is the best Lowe's in the city by a pretty good margin. The folks at the pro desk are great and the employees that help load and unload our really friendly and kind. They also have a marked down shelf that sometimes have some pretty good prices. The other thing I like about them is they have stuff that Home Depot and other places won't have like that flashing tape and some of the other items. read more

The bald garden center guy was so rude for no reason. He told me 2 different locations for lawn bags both of which had 0 lawn bags. At check out, he rang up a clearance item for full price. Luckily I checked my reciept. When i told him he rang it up wrong, he told me that was customer services problem not his. I went to customer service and theres was a line of 10+ people. This Lowes has the absolute WORST customer service of any place I've stepped in to. I'm sure there are good people working here, but 9 out of 10 times have I gone through this store and received ZERO interaction from employees (welcome, hello, offer to help, even eye contact!). My last trip in, in the door department, i approached the 2 employees who were sitting at the computers. I started with an "Excuse me" at which no one said anything and I was finally looked at with blank expressions.--No "Can I help you?", "I'll be right with you" or anything. I said I had a question about the doors along the back wall and the lady motioned towards the gentleman with a "you help him" reaction. Lowes really needs to up their customer service training as this experience was the icing on the cake that I will never step foot in here again. I had plumbing issues for 2 faucets and garbage disposal both leaking. My initial thought was that I need to hire a plumber who can come out and give me an estimate to fix the issues, which is what I did. First, I had The Rooter Works come out and give me a decent estimate to fix the problem but no guarantee that could fix the issue which would raise the cost. Didn't feel comfortable with that, so I continued my search. The Eco Plumbers gave me a quote of $1,094.00 (POSSIBLY fix) to $2,876.00 (entirely replace both faucets and the garbage disposal) (additional side note; unbelievably HIGH). I went to my boss who had a similar issue, and she suggested I go to Lowe's. I cannot stress this enough; GO TO LOWE'S. A customer service worker helped me pick out a NEW disposal along with NEW faucets, paid for it all, and they had a company they're contracted with come out and install everything. This was 2 weeks ago, and I'm still unbelievably happy with the decision. Long story short; plumbers quoted me $2,876 to replace my 2 faucets and a garbage disposal. Lowe's did it for less than $800. The difference = 5 Stars. read more

Just a horrible experience from start to finish. We used Lowe's as an installer for our fence. David Lull was the sales guy and was difficult to deal with, seemed like he couldn't believe we could afford a new fence by how his attitude was towards us. He also was very annoyed when I would call to ask about changes to the order or additions. We payed out a lot of money for a new fence and it took more than 3 months to deliver our supplies we paid for back in April. It is now end of August. When the supplies were delivered, they didn't send the actual fence, just posts and concrete. Now our contractor is scrambling to get into contact with Lowe's to see where our fence is that was "delivered". Use an independent contractor, not this joke of a "big business " read more

The store is fine but... I do not recommend Lowe's brand moving boxes (only choice available at the store). The ends of the box that open and close are too short and do not "meet", causing a gap that is only covered by the tape you use. This was consistent design on every size of box. Don't know about wardrobe boxes though, they were out. Home Depot has better and cheaper boxes. read more

Stopped at Lowes while in the Polaris area to see what the big box stores had in terms of tile and appliances for a kitchen and bathroom remodel I am planning for a flip. The store is easy to get to, the parking lot is large, and the shelves were well stocked. The prices are pretty much the same you see everywhere with the sales being where you save money and the day to day prices the same as Home Depot or Menards. Every Lowes store is essentially the same but the layout varies from location. One thing that does make a difference in the location is the employees. I have no idea why these Big Box stores do not have their manufacturer reps wwork with their department head and employees to educate them on their products so they can better serve their customers. Finding help at the Polaris was a disappoint when compared to their Easton and Silver Drive (near Crew Stadium) locations. While their employees may not be the most knowledable, they are at least easy to find. When I couldn't get help at the Polaris Lowes I left without making a purchase and felt like I wasted the stop. If you know what you want and what you need shop at Lowes. They do have a decent contractor program but if I were the home owner I would bring my builder or contractor to the store instead of purchasing something that may or may not work. read more

Do not buy appliances to be delivered. Lowe's contracts with another company who contracts with another third party. Our delivery team had no idea what they were doing. They got the lift of their rental truck wedged in our driveway and proceeded to drive back and forth to unstick and created big gouges in our driveway. They scratched our floor bringing the old fridge out and scratched/ dented new fridge. They couldn't lift the fridge up a stair so they just left it in our garage and drove off even though we paid for installation. They said nothing to us, just got in the truck and left. Neither Lowe's or the delivery company would find a solution for us. The delivery team was at our house for 3 hours and no working fridge plus lots of damage to our property. read more

During my recent visit, I did however feel like the sales team continues to not take the virus as serious which is why I can't give the full 5 stars here. One more red tape process to not give discounts. Then went to pay and used chip reader. Chose debit. Went though the process and left. Was half way to my car and got yelled back because i didnt pay. I prefer this location because I have a secret entrance. I think it was built just for me. I park on the far right and go through the doors by the lumber and also use that checkout. No matter what I get, I am usually in and out of there in 10 minutes or less. This is important because being in Lowe's for me is about as excruciating as any non-metro-sexual male having to be in Sephora. It's awful. Not the store- just me IN the store. But this store accommodates me on a level they didn't even realize and weren't even aiming for! First day of cyber Monday sale and I wanted to purchase one of the advertised 'cyber steals' - great buy on dewalt planer for 150 off - none in stock and unavailable to order. Contacted store - was told to call corporate or possibly special orders- special orders said they sold out and won't be getting more at the advertised price. I ordered a dryer from Lowe's for delivery, instillation, and to take the broken old dryer away. I received a phone call on Monday that it would be delivered between 1 and 5 pm on Tuesday. I made the proper adjustments to my schedule and when I arrived home at 11:30 am the dryer was sitting in front of my door with no one around. I called the store directly and they said they would transfer my call. The next thing I heard was Dial Tone. I tried 2 more times to get ahold of someone at the store. I eventually had to call the call center and was on hold for over an hour. The call center worked to try and solve my problem I told them that I was so aggravated to just come and get the dryer. They said they couldn't do it today which is a problem because it is on my very small porch and impeding my exit and entry to my house. Then they said they would try and asked me to have some patience which I said I would leave it there until tomorrow at 5pm. Here's the kicker the delivery guy called me and started arguing with me about it. Then hung up on me. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would we ordered a tub about a month ago and was told it would deliver on September 26th. I tried to call September 27th and was given the run around so on my Friday night after work I had to go into Lowe's Polaris to figure out what is going on. The "manager" Christie told me there is nothing she can do it was ordered through a vendor and they are closed. Unacceptable when your spending this kind of money and why did I have to drive there to get any answers. Meanwhile her"customer service" pose is standing behind her staring at me as I'm having this heated conversation. We left with she will call the vendor Monday and get back with me. Monday comes and no call from this "manager", so my husband calls at 6:00pm and spoke with someone that said it was already delivered and we have to come in to get it straightened out. Again WHY do I have to come in. Well I come in at 6:30pm to my surprise Christie and her posse are there and again have no answers or explanation why she didn't call us. I ask to speak with her manager which on Friday she told me she doesn't have. Andy came out to discuss what is going on and was the only intelligent person I spoke with. He still doesn't have answers because yet again the vendor is closed, but he has promised to keep us updated which he already has. In the heat of the moment a lady behind the counter started laughing at me, yes laughing and she is in customer service, I told the Bitch to stop laugh. Wrong choice of words, but again completely frustrated. This customer service lady proceeds to come around the counter like she is going to fight me. Are you kidding me I am the customer and you are going to try and fight someone, how do you still have a job.
