The Worst! We ordered doors in July and they are sitting at the store and we are still waiting for one door that came in wrong. No contact whatsoever from the person in Millwork. You can't get a hold of anybody in the store to help. We have been charged for a purchase that We never received at our home. Amazon, move over. You are no longer the cheapest for every single thing. After my French Door LG gave up on me, it was time for another four-figure fridge purchase. I was sick of that bottomless pit freezer that you could never find anything in anyway. I hit up Lowe's first to see how things looked in real life. The fridge I chose is just awesome. Outside doors are smooth and clean. Inside the fridge is a secret filtered water dispenser. Up top is an ice maker that knows when to stop. Under $900 and $120 cheaper than the Amazon price. And everything in the freezer is easily visible as soon as you open the door. Delivery is free, but there was a $50 charge for the LG haul away, which I had to choice but to pay. On the plus side for us Burbankers, there's a new-fridge-rebate-program with a $50 cash rebate for any new fridge, which increases to $75 if purchased in the city of Burbank. Delivery day was a breeze. Lowe's calls you the night before with a time window and tons of text messages in the morning about when you are "next." The guys were super careful and even hauled away the giant fridge box. Brick and mortar is not dead! read more

This store is very clean and organized. It is easy to navigate and find items. Employees are not that friendly. It feels like they are hiding from customers. I was looking for an item and I couldn't find anybody to help me. So I had to check online to be able to find the item. Five stars for the garden. They really beautiful plants and trees to purchase. They have a big selection of cleaning supplies and plant food. They don't have cashiers and it's only self checkout. They have customer service which only does the returns not purchases. Purchased a portable air-conditioning unit three days ago tried using it today. It's not working, took it back to the store. They refused to return the item because return window is 48 hours only asked for a supervisor this circumcised looking dude came to tell me he can't do anything claimed he's a supervisor but in reality he's an assistant manager. I was 10 hours past the return window and he wouldn't help, called corporate complained, and was able to return it at another store.. he was telling me a sales associate failed to notify you about our 48 hour window. It's not even on the receipt. How would I know you have a 48 hour window to return an item if it's not on the receipt and no one told me anything about it. What a joke. This jokester wasn't feeling well that day or maybe more. Who knows. Clearly needs more training to handle customer service. read more

Despite spending almost $11,000 on appliances with Lowe's we cannot get the install we paid for!!!! Over 3 hours on hold with customer service and 2 install appointments that were completely ignored by Lowe's. Ordered a washer and dryer and induction stove from Lowes and purchased it with installation. The order was delivered on time but they didn't have an install kit and said I needed to purchase it. No where on the website did it say I needed an install kit, I would expect this to be included with the online purchasing experience. I would have paid for it to avoid this nightmare. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone between Lowe's and Maersk (their third party install company) and they told me the install was rescheduled for Wednesday. They didn't show up. I spent another hour on the phone on hold and redirected from Maersk to Lowe's and then Lowe's hung up on me multiple times. This have been the most frustrating process and I'm deeply disappointed that this is how Lowe's treats customers that spend thousands of dollars with them! I finally rescheduled for Saturday (8/29) and AGAIN THEY DID NOT SHOW UP!!! I even confirmed the day before but they continue to fail us. Ivan in appliances is very helpful and attentive .The problem is Electrolux it's a company which provides extension 5 years warranty .They are irresponsible and absolutely do not take care if you have this kind of insurance. Went there yesterday looking for an item on their website (cleaning supplies) a full aisle. Went up and down, asked for some help as I couldn't find what I needed, spoke to several people who really couldn't care less, they were just there to get a pay check. Finally found someone who looked up what I needed, we don't carry that, then why is it on your website? In the past, going to that location, only one cashier was there to check you out, other staff just walking around. It's no way of running a business. I knew company policy stated I had 30 days for the adjustment...I guess he was just too lazy to do his job. Manager came and was more than happy to assist me. Located in Burbank Empire Center, this is a nice, clean, big Lowe's with a great nursery/outdoor section. I've been here a handful of times to purchase window treatments, xmas tree and decor, and plants. All our purchases have been satisfactory, with quality products. I use to think Lowes was better than home depot based on service and return policies but I am mistaken - bad service and bad return policy. Buy your stuff from home depot, if you go beyond the return policy, they will at least give you credit. Im building a home and probably spent over 20k, Lowes wouldn't even exchange a $25 item while home depot took back two door witj credit and both were ordered a year ago. read more

If you're looking to avoid the other big box depot? Try Lowe's. They carry comparable products. I'm personally avoiding retailers that outwardly cooperate with ICE in their outrageous roundups of day workers. Lowe's was a few miles further than the competitor, but I can feel good about where I spend my money, thus voting with my wallet, a powerful tool. My most recent visit I bought a dishwasher, a major purchase I wanted to be careful about. The store had two associates at the appliance service desk and my helper was incredibly well informed about features, including whether the interior was plastic or stainless steel- apparently the difference between life-length. Installation costs were tallied at checkout and expect to roughly double your price for delivery and setup unless you're splurging on top shelf models. I had a lot of fun cruising the aisles for lighting and made an impulse buy when I saw the RGB LED lighting ropes. The garden center is worth the look, and while you're there? Stock up on cleaning potions, trash bags and kitchen essentials. I'm subtracting one star for slow response time from the installation department. read more

Stopped in to pick up supplies to paint a bedroom. Service was very helpful and I'm fairly certain I have everything I need to complete my little project. Two cans of paint, scrapers, rollers, tape, brushes, plastic, trays etc. I spotted veteran parking out front and they offer a 10% military discount, my son wasn't with me so I couldn't use that but nice to know. The purpose for my visit felt like things were coming very full circle since it's my sons old bedroom I'm painting to turn into a guest room since he's moved out to serve our country. Found what I needed so I'd recommend- not sure how they compare to a Home Depot but the prices seemed fair, fingers crossed my guest bedroom refresher project comes out nicely. Went to the store and there it was on the shelf. Place another online order for a large box of borax for $21 only to have receive another box with the smaller amount ($6.98) but was charged $21.! The two star rating on this big chain store Lowe's is 100% right and it only deserves two stars because they do have merchandise on the shelves but go to Home Depot go anywhere besides Lowe's they are awful. You cannot find somebody to help you to save your life. I mean literally I think all the employees hide and even if you tell the manager, it does not matter everybody needs a job hire some more people. I don't know what you need to do and these red and blue colors that they wear. They blend in with the customers unlike Home Depot, where they wear bright orange so you can spot an employee in Lowe's. I waited on an aisle for 15 minutes aisle 20 and then had to go all the way to the front of the store to ask for help he said I will call somebody over the loudspeaker which he did. I waited another 10 minutes and as I was storming out I saw a man and a Lowe's vest helping a man that I saw walk into the store after me and he was being helped and I asked the story employee I said are you the only one here helping customers and he said like it was a joke yep, just me ma'am I'm here helping everybody's just me. I said this is ridiculous. Who's your manager They told me OSCAR I said where is OSCAR he pointed I don't know where he was pointing. he said over there somewhere, but this store is always always like this, but that's it. They are not getting any more of my business. They are closer to me, but it's ridiculous. Home Depot is not That far away. I had 5 Commercial single dryers delivered and the driver says I can't unplug or haul away the old dryer even though I paid for hauling and installing everything is paid for and he doesn't do hook up. Lowes why do you sell Commercial Washers and or Dryers if you don't install or haul away? You want to make money but you want someone else to do the dirty work that doesn't make any sense.
