Bought a lawnmower kit online over 2 weeks ago. Nobody knows where it is. I've exhausted all my options of contacts for getting answers and I have no answer. The product was fine. The customer service was good. Their price matching policy needs to be reviewed and augmented. Purchased a grill on 7/2/26 for our cabin which is several hundred miles away from the Lowe's. The purchase was $251. The very next day the grill sells for $179. When we returned from vacation I contacted the store and was told that it now sells for $279. That is what they would now charge me. I even offered to send the screen shot of the listing. Sorry, you would now pay $279. Doesn't matter if it was reduced the day after purchase, it's what it is listed at when you contact us. Had a similar experience last year with Home Depot. I had a bad delivery experience w/Lowe's in Reno, NV Jan 2025 and I told myself I would not use them again. Here we are Memorial weekend Appleton, WI and they had a great sale on washer & dryer so I purchased them for delivery and installation. Delivery crew would not install dryer because gas hook up is in the basement not on wall. Delivery guy did call dispatch for approval to install and he was told "NO". Absolute stupidity. Gas hook up in basement looks exactly what a gas hook up looks like in a wall. WHATEVER !!! Dispatch supervisor, who i spoke with, absolutely rude and had no care that I was a customer. read more

Please take the extra two minutes and go to Ace or Home Depot. I went to Lowes to take advantage of the dewalt tool deals . The employee who helped me checked the item numbers and grabbed the tool which should be free with the buy two batteries get the tool free deal. All the cabinets were locked and the employees are the only people who have access. When we got the register the employee at the check out struggled and didn't have a radio to call anyone. After a half hour the manager Lisa finally showed up. She took 15 minutes to investigate only to come back and tell me the tool was in the wrong place and I would have to pay full price for the tool. So be aware that even though you are not allowed to touch the tools and the only one with access to the cabinets is them, you are still responsible for there mistakes. They even walk the tools to the register just to hand it to the person working the register. So good luck checking the item #. Take the extra two minutes and go anywhere else. It's not worth the time and headaches. Learn from my wasted 45 minutes in the register with 0 help or answers. read more

I would never recommend Lowe's installation service to anyone and will not use them again. Long story short: It took them 5 months to replace a patio door. I made innumerable calls to get the installation completed and was met with inconsistent and non-responsive responses. The problem was incompetence in completing the trim! Lowe's uses an out-of-state company (UHS) to hire local contractors to do installations. As a customer, you go through installation support when problems arise. Their response is to call UHS (when they can get through). UHS often has their phones switched to voice mail during business hours. When you get through to them (either me or Lowe's) they may agree to set up an appointment in few weeks. I had to send photos of the shoddy workmanship (mismatched wood, caulk running down the side of the wood in big clumps and improper installation of the trim) to get approval for the redo of the trim. Three times the local contractors came to look at the issue, agreed there was a problem but need approval from UHS to correct it or they would not get paid. That approval takes weeks and promises to call you are not honored. It was only when I contacted Lowe's corporate office that the job was finished by a new, competent contractor. The communication between the customer, Lowe's, UHS and the local contractor is convoluted, inconsistent and simply a mess. I learned an expensive lesson: hire a local company and deal with the installation directly. Avoid middlemen! I rate Lowe's installation a zero. read more

The last 5 times shopping at lowes the service is horrible. There is never anyone in the department you are shopping in. When you do find someone there they tell you the same thing it's not my department but I will try to help. Which you are great full for them trying but it doesn't help because they know nothing. Decided to buy a outdoor fire Place this winter 2023. Put it outside under the patio. Cover was placed over the top. Speed forward to June 2023. When cover was removed this is what we found. Manager at store said "there must have been a little wet under it" this product was never used. unwilling to help unless a receipt is found. then we would have to call a 800 number. I understand that they have a 90 day policy but to be frank this is ridiculous. Who would have known. Picked up tile in December. Found four tile cracked. $5.44 per tile. I let it go...started project in February and I was short tile. Ordered more. Received text it had arrived. Went to pick up. Waited twenty minutes. Couldn't find it. After waiting another ten minutes was told it was damaged. Asked to speak with manager. Waited another ten minutes. I asked when I could expect replacement. Was told seven days. I had to cancel the order. I couldn't deal with the gross incompetence. Was told they would try to make it right. Was only told sorry. Bought some tile, paid for the tile, but needed a truck to haul it so said I would be back to pick it up. Went back, and they said I couldn't pick it up for another week. Keep in mind this was in stock when it was purchased. Complained via Facebook, and got nothing but a canned apology with no explanation. The manager then asks if he can be of further assistance. I advised "further assistance" implies he has already provided assistance, which he did not. Apparently he thinks it is resolved, but I need to make a special trip at 80 miles one way. read more

Our experience at this lowes has been horrible. Poor customer service and inexperienced staff. We bought all appliances. Fridge, dishwasher,washer and dryer, stove and range hood. First of all was informed that I would get a new washer and not floor model. Of course I got both damaged floor models of washer and dryer. Neither in a box. Called Ryan in the appliance department he told me to wait until all appliances where delivered before he'd do anything about it. Ryan is a horrible manager for the following reasons. One said he'd follow up. Didn't. Called him back because the appliance where delivered in winter and they wouldn't even deliver them into the new build. We told them that may not be ready and would need them hooked up at a later date. Called Ryan 3 times about this issue. Never gets back and says they probably won't hook them up. Next issue---not only was the washer and dryer damaged the gas stove looks like it's damaged also with a fork lift because box is tore and can see scratches as well through the box. None of the appliances are even out of the boxes yet and it's been a nightmare. I hate to see what the rest of the stove or fridge or dishwasher issues are going to be. Ryan was to get back to me on Friday about hooking up everything but of course it's Saturday and I'll be calling back. I only expected to receive non damage product and that they stand by what we were told when purchasing 8k of appliances. No one really gives a rat what was promised or at least I'd expect non damaged product and better service than this. If the employees don't show compassion and empathy or a sense of urgency to resolve. I'm ready to go back and get a refund and tell them to pick up their junk appliances. Samsung will hear about this issue as they are also getting a bad rap because of the junk we got. read more

I like buying my plants for my garden here over Steins Gardens and Gifts. Their plants are refreshed and replenished weekly by their distributor. When everyone else in town was out of basil at the end of May, Lowes had big beautiful basil plants. They also have a lot of colors of spray paint that other stores don't. I find their prices to be very similar to Home Depot, if not a little less. They also have better looking bath fixtures and lighting than most big-box stores. Came all the way from Green Bay to buy a sink and faucet. I wish we had one locally. The employees were extremely helpful explaining the different options and sizing on the sinks. We also had someone help us in the lighting department with locating a missing light fixture they did not have in stock at the time. This store was immaculately clean and organized. Their price match policy is nice and only covers big box stores and exact model #'s. Bought some tools from lowes. What a mistake! The logo says hassle free tool returns. The first time i use my 1/2 drive flex head ratchet the head broke off. Next time i am headed to town i stop at Lowes for a hassle free return. The lady at the counter said i need a receipt. Its some new policy. I searched for that receipt for months. Finally i found it. Head back to the store with the receipt and the lady at the return counter needs a manager override to accept the return/exchange. I was sent home because the manager was no where to be found. I called customer service while in the parking lot. They sent me to the manufacture who says we don't have that one in stock so its a lowes problem. Really?? So much for hassle free. First off huge thanks and kuddos to the store manager Jim Kieffer in Appleton WI! You don't get customer service like this anymore!! We had purchased an Allen & Roth ceiling fan online as we do not have a Lowes in Green Bay. No matter what we did it couldn't be balanced or get rid off the hum that sounded like a choir! We called in a fan expert as we love the fan and he basically threw his arms up saying it's a motor imbalance. When I contacted customer service I was assured that the store manager in Appleton would be in contact with us because that is the closest location to us. Surprisingly in this day and age Jim called! He told us no one has the fan in stock and he would order it for us from their distribution center which he did. We explained everything we had done to rectify the problem to no avail. Jim arranged for a new fan to be brought to us and the defective fan picked up since it was an online purchase and we are about one hour away. Not only that we were given a day and a call ahead for the exchange. The new fan is up and running beautifully with no shake rattle and roll and we love it! We cannot thank you enough for your exceptional customer service Jim Kieffer! You truly are an asset to the Lowes group!! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! We spent 1500$ on carpet which ended up being defective. (do not buy Mohawk carpet. It is complete garbage) We were treated horribly by the staff there, they even accused us of not buying the carpet there even when I had my receipt in hand! The manager refuses to call us back. TERRIBLE! Have gone through 3 refrigerators I bought here...All under warrantee and all broken. They all came scratched and dented. First one made such terrible noises I had them take it back within a few days. The second one lasted for about 2 years but the repair man almost lived at my house...It finally couldn't be repaired any more. The 3rd one is 1 yr. old and it appears that the fan is broken. Now I have to wait over a week before they will send someone out to fix it! Besides the scratches and dents, it came with a crooked sticker on the front freezer door that read "smart inverter"...took the store manager 1 year to get a replacement door (that is also damaged)! Service with them has been a combination of damaged goods, incorrect orders, orders that have "mysteriously" been lost, delivery men that didn't even have the proper tools to reverse the doors (I had to provide them with the proper wrench), and a store manager who repeatedly ignores my calls and emails. I even complained to their main office's customer service dept. and was dismissed with a "scripted" comment implying that my only option is to live with the defects and just deal with the broken fridge till the company they have contracted to do repairs shows up! read more
