To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the customer service I received from the manager on duty at the Lowe's Altamonte Springs location on State Road 434 on July 16, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM. Earlier that day, I received an online order that was delivered to my home. When I returned from work and reviewed the delivery, I discovered that the product I received was not the product I intended to purchase. I had ordered a paver base Step 1 product containing aggregate stone for stabilizing soil prior to installing pavers. After speaking with a customer service representative, I learned that the product listed on Lowe's website was not accurately represented and that the item number was associated with a different product than what I expected to receive. I requested to speak with a manager to discuss options for correcting the issue. Unfortunately, the manager's demeanor was unprofessional from the beginning of the conversation. Rather than listening to my concerns, she immediately stated that the product had been verified and that the store did not carry the product I believed I had ordered, despite it being listed under the same item number. I suggested a reasonable solution: pick up the incorrect product and deliver the correct item from another Lowe's location that had it in stock. However, throughout the conversation, the manager repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me to fully explain my concerns. I attempted to explain that Lowe's should have notified me if the item I purchased was not actually available as represented online. Instead of discussing potential solutions, she repeatedly stated that the only action she would take was to schedule a return pickup and that nothing further would be done to resolve the situation. When I asked if this was truly how Lowe's handled customer concerns and whether no effort would be made to correct an apparent website or fulfillment issue, she replied that this was company policy. The conversation became increasingly frustrating because I felt my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed. While I acknowledge that I became upset during the discussion, it was only after repeated interruptions and an apparent unwillingness to listen or work toward a solution, I had enough of the interruptions and stayed shut up. The manager ended the call by hanging up on me. Rude Afterward, I attempted several times to call the store back but was redirected to corporate customer service. The experience left me feeling that the manager lacked the customer service and conflict-resolution skills expected of someone in a leadership position. I am disappointed because I have always believed that customer service should focus on finding solutions when issues arise. While mistakes can happen, the response to those mistakes is what defines a company's commitment to its customers. Unfortunately, my experience at this location did not reflect that commitment. I hope Lowe's will review this incident and provide additional training and guidance to ensure that customers are treated respectfully and that managers are equipped to effectively resolve concerns when they arise. read more

Buyer beware! Appliance Service Issues: I would not recommend doing business with Lowe's. Or Whirlpool. Or Flamingo Appliance Repair. I bought a Whirlpool dryer from this Lowe's 6 months ago and it's blowing cold air...again. There's no recourse of action. I would not recommend them. On 8/4/25: I purchased a Whirlpool dryer with a 1 year warranty from Lowes in Altamonte Springs. November 2025: Dryer stopped blowing hot air. Lowe's denied responsibility and directed me to Whirlpool warranty, who directed me to Flamingo Appliance Repair. 12/2/25 Flamingo Appliance Repair fixed the problem by replacing a heat sensor. 2/2/2026: Dryer stopped blowing hot air again. The soonest Flamingo could come out was 2/10. 2/10/2026 an automated text announced the tech couldn't make it and provided a link to reschedule my appointment. The soonest availability was 2/18. 2/18/2026 At 8:51am an automated text announced the tech couldn't make it and provided a link to reschedule my appointment. The soonest availability was 2/25/25. I phoned Lowe's, who claimed no responsibility once the appliance is sold. Lowe's directed me to Whirlpool. Whirlpool denied responsibility and directed me to Flamingo Appliance Repair. Great experience with Lowe's walked in qith a goal in mind to paint my guest bedroom. I already had my selected color and trim in mind. Set over to the paint area where they prepared my paint under 10 minutes. I got to walk around a bit to see new things and plan a head for other projects. I returned items to this store in 2024 and was issued a gift card in exchange for money due to no receipt, no problem until I went to use the card 3 months late. the card has the money on it but I can't use it because someone put my license in system incorrectly. I spoke with the store manager and he was unable to help. Corporate offices take no incoming calls without receipt to reissue the car. the store manager never returned my calls or made an effort to assist. in other words I lost approximately $102.00. customer service non existent read more

Shopping for washer and dryer. Definitely knew we wanted top loader. This was the second visit back to purchase after taking measurements at home. Had the same employee both times. Walked around for about 30 minutes until we selected a pair. When we were ready to purchase a pair, she told us she had to check if they were in stock. They weren't AND we weren't able to purchase them unless they were in stock. We couldn't back order them or anything like that. So then we chose another cheaper and not as likable set and they weren't in stock either. I was now annoyed so needless to say we drove across the street to a competitor and bought the same set for $2 cheaper and it'll be delivered in 10 days. I came just to pick up some screws. The gentleman (and I use this term very loosely) was helping someone so I patiently waited. While there was a lull in the convo I asked where I could find my screw. Quickly he told me it didn't exist but there was a substitute. I began to look and did not find it. So I waited. After he finished I thought he would assist me but he chose to tell another customer where the nearest pawn shop was . Really? I kindly left and went to Home depot. I'm a Home Depot gal but for whatever reason, Home Depot doesn't have the water softener pellets I need. So I ordered the pellets online. They were ready in a couple hours at the customer service desk. I received an email notification. I decided to pick up the next day. I did a little shopping before visiting the customer service desk. The lady was very helpful and even though my online order was paid for, she offered to ring up my other items. That was nice! I appreciated how this Lowe's was almost set up exactly like Home Depot. It was easy to find my way around. Unfortunately, they have very similar items to Home Depot so I was unable to find the light switch replacement I need. Home Depot doesn't have it either. Lowe's garden center looks better than Home Depot's. I'll definitely be back for citrus trees. Parking is ample. Better than Home Depot. read more

I've been going to this Lowe's since 2006. As a contractor. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars. I always enjoyed the visits to the store and the friendly atmosphere. This location is ok. When we moved into our house we bought both our toilets from here. We paid for the plan to have them install them. The one in our master bath went fine but in our guest bath I had to have them come back out a second time and it still isn't right. And it was quite a hassle to get them to come back out. They do have a lot of home improvement items at decent prices though so it's worth the trip here sometimes although I'm lucky to have another one closer that I like better. read more

So if I could give this place zero stars I would. I have ordered two different appliances from them and I have had the same experience both times. There's not as much the actual store itself, the delivery service is horrible. They give you a 12 hour window in which they will make their delivery, that is not very convenient for anyone that I know. It took three deliveries for my refrigerator, the first time it wasn't even on the truck. The second time I got a 10 minute window to pick up my dishwasher and because it was unplugged, they just left it there and charge me for the haul away, If you need a quick tool you can go to Lowe's, but if you're making any major decisions require delivery, I would highly recommend you go somewhere else. read more

Ordered a dryer and made arrangements to be home on the delivery date. They canceled with little notice and didn't want to commit to a delivery makeup. They also told me they had the appliance at their warehouse, so it wasnt an issue with receiving it. Called five people asking for help rescheduling and no one stepped up. Each explained why they couldn't help and took up my time . I could have had a dryer today through Best Buy for the same price and now I'm waiting until next week. Left my family in a bad spot, but they didn't seem to feel any concern over it. Lowes always has items in stock and well organized. The store was clean and had many options for every project you can think of to do to your home. Today I went to purchase a dryer and was helped by an employee in the appliance section. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained each element of the dryers. He explained to me the different delivery options as well as pick up options. I picked the dryer that gets the job done and is affordable for me. I picked up my dryer and the employees helped me load the dryer in my car without any problems. They were careful and precise with loading my dryer. I felt comfortable and taken care of. You will not receive a phone call to inform you. You will receive emails the order is preparing to ship. We are always a fan of Lowe's, and on this occasion I needed to pick up an entry door that was only available at this location. I called ahead and the department head was holding it for me. I cannot remember his name, but he had the door on a cart and ready to go. Now that is what I call GREAT customer service! Once I paid for the door, they offered to help put it in my SUV, but I declined the help. So nice to offer, though! First time at this location and it was not a good experience,rude employees that do not help you or even try to plus a the check out all I got was a hello. I only give this place two stars for having what I needed well sort of not really,I was looking for a specific piece for my shower head but had to buy the whole shower part,I walked around for a long time looking for someone to help me so I think next time I will stop at the Home Depot near by instead. Be wary of buying appliances here. We purchased a new refrigerator with an ice maker. We were never told there was any problem with hooking up the ice maker but when they arrived we were told they could not even disconnect due to copper pipe. As luck would have it, I was going to do it but found the shut-off for the water line was rusted. We had a new water heater installed the next day so, no problem. They put in a new shut off and everything is fine. Lowes told me they would leave the refrigerator in the garage and just call this number to have them return to finish the installation. Just got off the phone after being on hold for one hour and three minutes "while they were taking care of other customers." Imagine how happy I was to hear their computers are down and asked me to call back in an hour or so, after being on hold for over an hour. Easily could have picked up and explained the hold-up an hour earlier but there was no consideration for the customer. read more

I bought a couple of things at Lowe's to get ready for a project: among them, a wheelbarrow that was on sale according to the flyer that came with the paper. When the cashier tallied everything up, the "quick math" part of my brain flashed red - seemed high, it said. So I asked how much the items were, which, apparently, really annoys the cashier. So she said, I can't tell you - you gotta pay first. So I paid. Sure enough, wheelbarrow was $90, not $80 that the flyer OR the big sign by it said when I picked it up. Now if you think I'm not going to NOT donate $10 free money to a big box store, you don't know me. Off to CS I went, where young lady questioned me on my knowledge, memory, and integrity (or all three?) as far as what the price of that item should be. She insists that THEIR system says it's $90, and if I think the sign said it's $80, did I take I picture (to which I had the proper comeback of "No I didn't, but I didn't expect to be charged the wrong price". I said, why don't you take a walk with me and see for yourself? She said, no YOU go (cuz clearly it's MY fault). Thanks to Covid-19, I did the docile thing instead of insisting she goes. So, 15 wasted minutes later, refund in hand, I was just missing one thing: not a word of apology was uttered. Shout out to the garden area workers who answered all if my what seemed like 1,000 questions! I also felt like this location has so many options for greenery and flowers for the garden. We checked out home depot and another nursery but felt like this store and way more options. We Purchased 24 little pool pink flowers 2 white hanging flower pots, tiller tool, miracle grow that was 2 for $12 and some other gardening tools. We just bought a house that needs renovation , so we are at Lowe's at least several times a week. The staff here are super helpful and friendly, but there are some who are not very knowledgeable. As a rule, I prefer Lowe's to Home Depot, because they almost always have what I need, and HD doesn't. Also, they sell Sherwin Williams paints, and have their brochures with various color palettes. What I don't understand, however, it's why on earth would they put the cart returns in the few parking spaces that are next to the shades trees. About half of the shady parking spots are taken up by the cart returns. Why bother to plant the trees then if your customers don't benefit from the shade? read more

Shopped Lowe's for years in Fern Park and south Florida with great experiences and good service. However we will not shop this location anymore. It's always a hassle to pick up online orders or return something. Usually there are five employees in that area yet only two are actually working and taking care of the line of customers in front of them. The others just look at the line and walk off or go behind the wall. And mist of the time there is only self checkout available with only one employee available to assist you if there's an issue. I could not put 0 stars or that is what my answer would be This has to be the worst Lowe's store in the company. I honestly cannot type all that has happened into this review or I would be on here just as long as it takes to even try to get someone to answer the phone at the store or once they do answer to get to the person you asked for (which does not happen either). Even the installation team tried one day to get a hold of the store after I was on the phone with them for over 45 minutes and it took the install dept. almost 25 minutes just to come back and say she left a message for Jessie the asst. manager to call me. In all this back and forth already with a bunch of calls I had already told one of the call takers at the install dept. after this is all over I am going to be asking for a credit of $ back because this is ridiculous. She told me that would have to be discussed with us but we do not do that until the install is completed. In a nutshell we ordered doors for our home months ago. 4 doors for almost $10,000 worth. It has been a complete cluster ever since. I honestly started typing everything into this review. I figured why not if I can wait on hold that long and deal with all of this for this long someone can read this but I ran out of room even before the end of it all. So, let's just say this. I got a message from an employee during all of this by the name of David. Once I passed along what he said to the actual installer he called the store and someone named Jessie who said he was a specialist contacted me and wondered if I had the recording of what the employee had said. Remember the 1-800 installation dept. had already told me before that they left a message for Jessie the asst. manager to call me. But now he is a specialist and no he never called me before. How is the priority the message and not me the customer??? Next a call from Linda (at the store) about the doors and much discussion about the door to be cut and we are not installing it. She apologized and said would refund our money for that door that day. Very nice. BUT that was months ago. No refund that week. A lot after this has transpired and as I said too much to type BUT I had to buy my own supplies to get the other door in, the installer came on his vacation week to install both doors. And 2 days ago I look in my account and this store finally refunded us but the amount was $299. That was the price of a door installed and not the door returned which was more. In addition install completed 2 weeks ago and not a one person has called or anything. I called the 1-800 number for installations and of course one person said they had to transfer me to a specialist. I got an Amanda (she was a call taker just like the other person). After going through ALL of this AGAIN and explaining wrong door refunded and also calling back for $ in credit because of all of this she says I have to escalate to the store because we cannot do that. I tell her what I was told in the beginning about the install dept. doing it and she says not sure why they told you that. She said I am sending it to the store manager and he should reach out to you within 24 hours. Well we hung up the phone on Tuesday 9/28 at 430pm so 24 hours would have been by yesterday at 430pm. It is now the 30th at almost 3 pm so I'd say the 24 hours are WAY past due and once again just an example of the poor customer service, we got our money, so who cares, by Lowe's. I am owed money for the wrong door being refunded. I am owed money for the supplies I had to buy to complete install and I want $ in credit back. When one of the people involved in all of this says to me, " to be honest I haven't seen a customer get THIS F OVER in a long time, I'd be asking for $ back or something. You think? Me not wanting to shop at Lowe's ever again is one thing. Word of mouth is everything. Me being owed money is another thing entirely. How about the District Manager call me ASAP. read more

We were doing some home renovations so we elected to open a Lowe's account because there was no interest for 18 months which would give us time to pay it all off. However they failed to tell us we wouldn't receive a paper bill so we didn't know we were late on a payment until I received an email telling me that. Our payment arrived 2 days late and we were then contacted to tell us we lost the zero % interest rate etc because of the late payment. We immediately called the card company and they did take off some of the penalties but limited our credit line. So I will be shopping from now on at Home Depot! read more

Friendly Faces have been replaced by barely functional fools. Sadly, I'll be either choosing another Lowe's or finding another big home improvement store. For the last three times that I have been here the service is poor, meaning that you have to ask for help before you get half-baked answers. "Z?" in customer service is particularly rude. I've enjoyed this Lowes for years with the likes of Asha and others, but all things being equal, customer service makes the difference. Everytime we have to go to this Lowes, it is like pulling teeth trying to get someone to assist you. As much money as I'm about to spend, some help would be nice. I had an issue with blinds where they were cut very wrong and it was a nightmare trying to get anyone to assist me to get them adjusted. Then I was told they can't just take an inch off, which would've resolved the issue after waiting for an hour. Also we bought what were supposed to be brand new outdoor lights, they were clearly very used and corroded. Caution - Do not rent carpet cleaner without inspecting it. This was the first time I ever rented a carpet cleaner. I did my research between Bissell and Rug Doctor and decided on Bissell and Lowes was close to us. I guess when people rent and bring these back, people take no responsibility for cleaning them before returning. The gal who checked me out simply wheeled the unit out of the cage and off I went. Went I got home, I noticed the smell of dog excrement. When I turn the unit on the side, I saw that the rollers where filled with dried excrement and hair. Worse, brown water came out all over the floor (they didn't empty the tank). This is unacceptable and disgusting. I disassembled and thoroughly cleaned everything before I started to clean the carpets. After cleaning the carpets, I cleaned everything again. I'll let them know when I bring it back, but if this is how all the carpet rentals work, the business model doesn't work. ** Update ** The store manager provided a full refund. They showed me a document that should be given to people who rent with the instructions about cleaning...I wasn't given one. We purchased tile from this location which was supposed to be delivered today February 20th. We called this am and was told the delivery person would call 20 minutes before delivery. At 530 pm we called to report no delivery was made. We were told it never made it on the truck. We were furious. No call from the company to let us know there would be no delivery. They promised it would be here Monday sometime between eight and five we explain to them we will not be here between eight and five as we both work that the delivery would have to be after six. After that phone call we hung up then we called back to speak to a manager to report this issue to a manager because they were so unprofessional in the way they're handling it. we were put on hold over 30 minutes and a manager never came on the phone no one ever answered it. I would recommend that no one ever goes to this Lowes or uses them and I will be reporting this to the manager in person and go up higher and possibly cancel my whole order. read more

I even called a second time after wasting time at the Apopka store. They even put me on hold to go check. I really fell for it. I drove all the way over there, (from the other store), and low and behold, no sod. They haven't had any in weeks. Lowes, you have competition RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. I can usually find what I want here, and the employees are usually very helpful. I'm pretty sure they are trained to seek out the women and assume they don't know what they're doing, which is fine since that's usually the case. I've determined that if you're looking for selection, this is the 2nd best home improvement chain in the area. My local Lowe's is great! The staff here is very helpful, they come up to you & ask if you need help. Quite a surprise to me for a home improvement store! They also have some very knowledgeable gardens staff. We come here for most of our home improvement items first, then go elsewhere. We will be back gain soon! BTW- the MyLowe's Program is worth it. It tracks your receipts & purchases which makes going back to buy the same item (like paint) very easy! read more
