What made this experience so frustrating was how rude the employee at the register was. I left feeling like I wasn't being treated fairly. Later in the day, my father returned with the exact packaging and the exact same receipt. They accepted the return without any issue and were friendly to him. Based on how differently we were treated while under the same circumstances, I was left feeling like I was judged differently only because I was a younger customer. Whether that was intentional or not, that's how the entire experience came across. I expected consistent customer service for everyone and unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.

They are closed on Sunday and close at 5PM during the week. That doesn't leave much time to pick up paint supplies if you are the average working person. Why they close when most customers would come in I do not know. Its places like this that block Home Depot and the other big box stores from opening. They wonder why we want big box stores? So now I have to adjust my schedule and put off work that I have. Hire some cheap labor to man the store on the weekend if you don't want to. work.

I was asking what I needed to know to match up some outdated Color Wheel (purchased by S-W just FYI... so they SHOULD be the experts on Color Wheel paint, right?) paint products as best as possible. They told me it wouldn't match identically because time has faded the other product. I stated that I understood that. They stressed it over and over. I explained that I understood. You can't really say anything bad about their service because it was very polite and done with a smile, but it was mind-blowingly tedious and it was like pulling teeth to get a proper answer. I was asking what kind of information they needed from me other than the color number and name, what I should look for in the old info and I kept getting "that won't match exactly because there are thousands of colors of paint in each catalog that S-W keeps." Yes. I get it. How can I assure that I get to the closest of the original colors. Can I give you the number and the name? "We don't stock out of date colors here. It won't match exactly because.." I understand. But I can give you the name/number and you can give me the S-W version and I can know you've fully warned me that it won't match exactly, but knowing that I can paint the small test piece I want to see how badly it's different? "It won't match exactly because..." Yes. I understand. I did find out they don't sell anything smaller than a quart. It was the human interaction equivalent of getting stuck in a phone menu loop with a computer. I wound up walking out without any knowledge of what I needed to provide or do. My wife shot an email to S-W from her phone and they replied within a day with exactly what I needed to do. However, by that time, I had gone to Home Depot and within ONE MINUTE the guy was making me a $3 sample size of Behr paint that would match the out-of-date Color Wheel paint. He also warned me (BUT ONLY ONCE) that it might not exactly match old paint and to be careful where I tested it. I told him that I understood and he wished me a good day. I walked out with my paint and a smile. The places we tested covering up a few scuffs are perfect.

I stopped in here to get a gallon to match the paint our builders used on the house. It was time to do a little touch up work. I was unable to obtain a quarter sized piece to match as the paint really didn't come off the wall that well. They did their best but it may have been a touch too glossy. So if you go for a color match, make sure you have the right size. I'm not sure if they have a guarantee or not. The paint does go on well with good coverage on the first coat. The staff is pretty helpful, they have lots of accessories for your needs. Beware of their prices though.

This location is awful! I spent an hour there trying to get paint. It took them a 35 minutes to find my account, and another 25 to figure out my paint. I'm the only customer in the store, and now I know why. Despite my having all the information they needed to find my account and make my paint it took an hour and come to find out they gave me the wrong color paint! Today I went to the sherwin Williams in winter park on 17/92, I was in and out in 10 minutes! So my advice is skip this store, save yourself the hassle and go to winter park!

Like most Home Depot locations, this place is huge and it would be easy to get lost wandering the aisles, seeking that elusive product. But one good thing, you can always seek out a Home Depot associate in the orange apron and they can point you in the right direction. Since it was close to closing, the associates seemed more intent on getting out of work and I really can't blame them. Still, they directed us towards the aisle we needed (I believe it was aisle eleven) and we had a slew of padlocks to select from. We made our choice in a somewhat speedy fashion and we're out of there before closing with our newly purchased padlocks. I will say that the neighborhood might not be the safest at night, but they had a mobile trailer with security cameras in the parking lot to monitor the activity. All in all, I will give this particular Home Depot four stars overall.

The place is still lovely, even lovelier with the peaceful friendly animals looking at me. Nice ponds, places to sit. They sell pallets of St. Augustine sod, & can deliver it to your home. Right now though, because of the freeze, they only have 1 type of St. Augustine. SUPER FRIENDLY employees. You can spend many hours there exploring if you want to.
