I have moved more times than I can even count as I was previously active duty military and then moved several times with an active duty spouse. I have NEVER had anyone even come close to being as wonderful as the two kind, meticulous, quick while somehow still managing to wrap every item and secure it as if it was their own precious possessions. My situation was unfortunately a last minute move that they had no problem being willing to accommodate as my fiancé had passed away after his worsening medical issues caused the planning of a small ceremony next month to be replaced with a funeral and I couldn't bare to be in the apartment after the traumatic and tragic death-not only are these guys incredible movers but they are truly caring and went out of their way to continuously reassure me that I had no need to worry and give me their condolences while going ABOVE AND BEYOND to move and then set back up all of my belongings in less than 2 hours but with incredible attention to detail. Someone had hired other movers and was moving in and I watched as those movers bounced her bins up the stairs-almost dropping each trip and carrying her mattress up uncovered and letting it rub a dirty hand rail the entire way up the stairs- seeing how they had loaded her possessions and then how mine were secured-including a computer chair/items like it carefully strapped in with multiple bungee cords- I not only felt bad for her but knew that I would not ever use another moving company. They charge a flat rate while almost every other company moves as slow as possible and then keeps racking up the bill, knowing that both my old and new apartment were on the second floor and I only was charged $100 extra which was still at least 5x cheaper than any other mover I've hired previously would have found a way to charge me to do the same work, way less carefully and taking the entire day to do it. You simply can NOT go wrong if you hire these guys to get your possessions moved and set up quickly and safely...additionally, they are both very personable and make sure your items are exactly how you want them set up and where you want them and if you want something moved you will see them moving it right away and not even slightly irritated because they truly want you to have everything where you want it Ray and Andre have made my tragedy less stressful more than words could ever express and when I move to the first floor in a few months I wouldn't call or trust anyone else but them. read more

My wife and I recently contracted Low Cost Quality Movers (LCQ Movers) for 2 upcoming moves. We chose them from Angie's List because of their positive reviews. To say we were massively disappointed is an understatement. If you are considering hiring them - PLEASE READ ABOUT OUR EXPERIENCE FIRST: At the initial interview with Ray Riccelli (the owner) he told us he had a crew of 4, all long time and reliable employees. On the day of the move he showed up along with 2 workers. We noticed 1 man kept taking breaks to talk on his phone and he kept going into rooms that we had said were off limits. After the truck was loaded and taken to their destination for unloading, Ray showed up at the destination with 2 new workers and the sketchy morning worker was gone. I asked Ray, where is the morning worker? His response was that the worker didn't want to complete the job. Later in the afternoon, my wife called me in hysterics. Her bathroom drawer, which was off limits, had been riffled through and her jewelry which had been securely hidden had been opened and her 2 karat diamond studs were gone. When I told Ray why my wife was calling, he told me, now I see why the worker wanted to leave. I asked Ray how well he knew the employee. He said he picked him up that morning at a McDonald's parking lot and didn't know anything about him, let alone his name! I reread our contract, no where did it say that we were okay with day laborers and had I known that LCQ Movers hired that kind of workers, I would have signed on with another moving company. I asked Ray about his insurance where an employee commits this criminal act and he claims his insurance doesn't cover this. Ha! Ray and LCQ Movers thought it was acceptable for a random, unauthorized day laborer to have unsupervised access to our home and possessions! (Did you eVerify them?!) Ray promised me he would find this individuals name and number so we could give it to the Peoria Police Department, whom we reported this crime to. 4 days later, Ray texted me that he had the name and number and would call me later. After repeatedly calling him for a week, Ray keeps making up excuses as to delay our talk if he even bothers to respond at all. To date he has not turned the name over to us or the police department. I hope you're sitting down, because I have a fantastic story to tell you. The heros of the story were Ray, Andre, and Nick. The people needing saving were me and my fiance. We were in a rush to find an affordable place to live. You see, I have two rare health conditions, plus a few common ones on top of that. I'm disabled and quite physically challenged. My fiance works a lot of hours, takes care of me, and packed the entire home we were moving out of. In planning for the big moving day, I hired Ray, Andre, and Nick, at a great price, and enlisted the help of friends to save on moving costs. They treated this move like they were determined to help a very sick person, and his fiance, with a very important need. This company was a breath of fresh air. After searching all over the Phoenix and Scottsdale area to find movers I called this post card and talked to Ray. What a professional sounding guy he was on the phone. He wasn't pushing me to buy anything and promised me that I could relax and let him and his workers do their thing. I told him I had to talk it over with my roommate and let him know. The next day I called Ray back to let him know that we decided to go with him and Low Cost Quality Movers. Ray said I will get you over a contract to sign. He told me not to worry about anything and let them do the move for me. Later that night the contract came and I signed it and sent it back via email. I didn't have to pay anything up front which was awesome and very grateful. On April 19th Ray himself and his co worker Andre showed up and were very professional while handling my furniture. My roommate had them follow him to our new apartment and they unload the truck. We in return got them lunch and they were very appreciative of that and the tip we gave them. WOW WOW WOW! No kidding. Everybody knows moving is so stressful. Ray and his team made my move stress free. They are so careful with your belongings. They are professional and friendly. They communicate with you along the way. They are prompt, work incredibly hard and have a sense of urgency. Even their tools to disassemble and reassemble your furniture is top notch (drills with built in flashlights). They find solutions for everything. Some of my screws were stripped and they found a solution. Nothing stumps them. They even left some of my furniture put together sturdier and in better condition after the move than it had been put together before my move. Do not hesitate to hire them. We've all heard horror stories of some movers hijacking your belongings. These guys are the best and very trustworthy. Their prices are very reasonable as well. My spouse and I will move again to hopefully a house. We will definitely be repeat customers. These guys are down to earth and real. Very nice and flexible with date changes so it goes. Even in the midst of things going wrong, they guys follow through with a smile on their faces.
