They have the cutest to-go boxes. I swear that at this location, the vegan food tastes like sunshine. Nothing over-salted, nothing smothered in fake premade condiments, just pure, bright flavors. Save the planet curry with thick rice noodles is still my #1. Delicious and thoughtful. I've seen many come in and have their meal paid for by someone who paid it forward and it's so easy. Come one, come all!
I was in the area today and saw this place was a couple of doors down from where I needed some lab work, so popped in here to grab some food. I remember Loving Huts fondly back in NYC and have gone there before with friends for meals and always enjoyed. Today, when I walked in, place was empty and I was the only customer. I wanted a tofu banh mi and also ordered a slice of pandan cake. I waited for my order in their comfortable eating area and browsed around as they have merch for sale and plenty of books on vegan life and eating. I was a vegan about 10 years ago and since then, have loosened up my diet a little but I will say I still love places like Loving Hut. Deep down, I am a vegan but don't tell anyone...shhh... Banh mi is smaller than the traditional ones but very tasty and stuffed with lots of tofu, caramelized onions, pickled veggies and greens and minus veganaise. Pandan cake was ok, a little dry but the taste was good. I'll probably try to finish it soaked with a little oat milk. Overall, a good dining experience and will come back when I feel nostalgic for Loving Hut.
For awhile, I've wanted to try this location but it's 20 miles from my house. I've had it on my radar to try after one of the days I report in person to my office as I'm hybrid. Last week, I finally made my way there and absolutely loved it! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating for my peanut/treenut allergy to ensure a safe dining experience. They were also patient while I looked through the menu to make my decision and offered their personal favorites. Once I placed my order, I began to look at the beautiful decor and atmosphere of the dining area. As well as continued to look at the vast menu of tantalizing vegan options - yum! Dining to fuel both your body and soul is something you don't find every day. Loving Hut lives up to its namesake in a couple different ways. Pay It Forward - Buy a future meal for someone in need. I was able to pick out a meal from the menu to purchase for someone in need to choose at a later time to provide a nutritious meal for them. In addition, they donate all food scraps to prevent food waste and help Better Piggies Rescue. As well as sponsoring piggies monthly as well. Love seeing giving back to the community for both humans and animals. Overall, I loved my experience and would recommend to others!
I have ordered from the Phoenix location once before, but this was my first time here and dining in. An all vegan restaurant makes my heart happy, but it makes it hard to choose what to order because I want to try everything! I ordered the oinks in a blanket, the crispy egg rolls, and the fried rice. It's been YEARS since I had pigs in a blanket, and these took me straight back to my childhood. The croissant was "buttery" and flaky, and the "hot dog" was thin but tasted like the real deal. Yum! The crispy egg rolls lived up to their name and were packed with filling. The fried rice was a huge portion, and again it brought me back to childhood. I haven't been able to order fried rice in forever, and the ham was good and again tasted like the real stuff (or as close as it could). Flavorful and delicious. Saving the rest for tomorrow. It's cafeteria style where you order at the counter and take a number and deliver it to the table, so I can't speak on service in the traditional sense. But the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and the dining area itself is very zen and chill. Will definitely be back!

I wanted to play a trick on my brother and mom, so I ordered a few items that closely resembled meat and poultry dishes. They couldn't tell the difference, and it was a brilliant way to showcase the flavors and satisfaction of vegan cuisine. I've ordered the golden vermicelli, fake chicken Golden Beauty and the Amazing Saute. All were delish! The restaurant's positive ambiance, adorned with affirmations, creates a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. Moreover, their collection of vegan literature and plant-based products for sale amplifies the experience, making Loving Hut not just a restaurant but a hub for all things vegan. The staff's passion for veganism shines through, ensuring a friendly and knowledgeable dining experience. This vegan haven has won my heart, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to explore more of their delectable menu.
I placed a catering order for a birthday in late February and I've been meaning to write this review for some time! Not only did the owner, Linh, work with me every step of the way and created a fantastic menu of delicious vegan meals for our guests, she was so incredibly patient and listened to my needs! Our guests LOVED the food, especially the birthday girls and raved about the quality. Thank you guys for making the birthday catering so easy and flawless and providing such delicious options. I fully recommend loving hut!!! 10/10 experience!
The short and sweet: if you're vegan and you've never eaten at a Loving Hut (it's a vegan chain but not all homogenized like a McDonald's, each one will have a slightly different menu and there are no standardized recipes across the chains), you've gotta try it at least once! It's not everyone's cup of tea but I greatly appreciate an establishment that chooses to be all vegan. It's typically Asian fusion food, with some American options like burgers/sandwiches. The salads tend to be super fresh as well. The long and detailed xD Normally I would give this place 4 stars but because I'd like to give some extra support to a fully vegan place I think they deserve a 5! It takes commitment and conviction to be a vegan establishment. I'd know, my family owned the first fully vegan restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA and worked it for 7 years, way before being vegan was "normal" My brother and I took my dad here because he's very strictly vegan and won't eat at a place that isn't fully vegan for spiritual reasons. When you walk in the menus are displayed and you order at the counter, pay, and then get a number to place at your table (indoor and outdoor availability). Water is self-serve. They also ask that you place your dishes into collection bins when finished. The workers here all seem very happy and have a nice energy to them! The place is also decorated nicely. It's super cute inside with greenery throughout and feels very clean. Dad ordered the pho, I got the bun hue (spicy noodle soup), and my brother got the pad Thai. Loving Huts in general tend to be big on using tofu and mock meats, so if soy is not your thing your options will be more limited or you'll have to ask for modifications. They're usually very willing to accommodate. The pho definitely satisfied my dad's craving! We all enjoyed our entrees and ate every single bite. The flavors are good, granted a little mild, especially considering my soup is supposed to have a spicy kick to it. We also ordered the chow mein to-go and it smelled delicious!
I love this restaurant with its welcoming and friendly staff, expansive menu and upbeat decor. They have childrens books, positive artwork and eco-conscious directives throughout the space. The food is plentiful and very friendly to vegans, vegetarians and those who just prefer a meatless meal. The prices are reasonable and the location is convenient. Will definitely return!
I was so happy to find Loving Hut super close to where I was staying! The staff are friendly and helpful! The atmosphere is welcoming and I enjoyed looking around while waiting for my food to be prepared. I ordered the Mongolian Wonder with a side of brown rice. I also got the Golden Rolls, which were amazing! I decided to get the Bun Bao Wow to go. I also got a slice of cake. Everything was delicious! read more

What a sweet space. I had been wanting to try loving for a minute. It's vegan. I'm not but love veggies and wanted to try it out. The rainbow roll was crunchy cool ad delicious on a hot AZ day after hot yoga. The thankful Thai tea was also a nice treat, even though I ordered hibiscus tea. I also got carrot cake because I couldn't resist (not photos). It was also delicious. I love they have an option to pay it forward with a menu item for someone to have later.. great experience I'll definitely be back to try more items read more

This was my first visit to Loving Hut on southern. It was a long drive from Peoria but their social media posts made me want to try them out. I love supporting all-vegan restaurants. They were open for dine in. The service was ok. I did not get the dressing for my entree and when I asked about it the server said it doesn't come with it, but then later returned with it and said he made a mistake. The food was good, like the other Loving Huts. It was not anything special that I would need to make a return visit for. If I am in the area again I would choose this restaurant over other Tempe restaurants. read more

I have been a patron of this Loving Hut and the one in Glendale for many years. The food is delicious and is definitely my go to comfort food. The staff has always been pleasant and the owner is a sweetheart. I particularly love how this location is decorated. I also think this company has good values. They promote donating to charities and they have a pay it forward option to feed the less fortunate. I will always support this small business. read more

My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch right at 11am when they opened. It looked clean and the lady taking our order at the counter was very friendly and helpful giving us recommendations. We ordered the Spicy V-Pad Thai and Golden Beauty with a side of brown rice, grabbed a couple of glasses of water and sat inside. I looked at one of their vegan cooking books while waiting for the food which was ready in about 10 minutes. The place got pretty busy right after we placed our order with half of their indoor tables taken. There were also a few tables outside. The food was delicious!!! The pad Thai bowl was huge and all of the veggies were very fresh and crispy. The Golden Beauty's seasoning was very good and the spicy sauce that it came with was very much needed to compliment the dry fried chickless protein. The side of brown rice was about a cup and a half and we added soy sauce from one of the bottles available on the counter. I highly recommend this location and we'll be back to try other dishes before we leave AZ for the season. read more

I'm so excited they opened one near me! I used to visit the one in Glendale all the time. I got the golden vermicelli and bbq rolls with fries and a slice of the pandan cake. So much love and thought goes into making their food and packaging it with care (we called it in and took it to go). Vegan or not, you should check Loving Hut out. The prices are reasonable, the food is fresh, tasty, and filling, and you will not be disappointed! read more

We have a loving hut back at home (CA) it's my mom's and I's favorite which is why we were excited for the opportunity to try this one. The sushi was falling apart even while in the box, the fries were cold, they gave us regular instead of sweet potato. Very poor presentation. read more

4.5/5 Craving a healthy-ish meal that delivers on price, portions and flavor? Then give some love to this hut! I enjoyed the food at the downtown Tempe location but it's such a pain for me to get there so I was excited when I this new locale opened up where a wing place used to be. I've been meaning to go here for a while and I was really craving veggies so this was the perfect choice. Everything here is vegan and a lot of the items here have an Asian flair. Protein options include tofu, faux chicken, shrimp and beef. I opted for the "Be kind crispy noodle" dish to go. It was securely packaged in a cardboard box and a very generous portion. The description online says it contains "crispy-crunchy wheat noodles topped with our sautéed medley: BBQ beefless protein, tofu, broccoli, carrots, bok choy, cabbage, napa cabbage, onions, & our homemade sauces." I loved the combination of veggies, noodle, faux beef and delicious full flavored sauce. I really enjoyed that crispy crunch of the noodles and they were still super crispy after driving back home to eat it. It was a little hard to eat the noodles with the rest of the ingredients since they came in a big tangled fried mass but it wasn't too bad of an eating experience overall. A cute little detail is that they included some little slips of paper thanking me for being kind to the planet and animals by eating a vegan meal instead of a meaty one. One paper had a bubble blowing llama on it and the other had a coffee drinking, tie-wearing squirrel on it- so adorable! read more

CALLING MY VEGAN AND PLANT BASED FRIENDS. We have a new go to! I love leaving a place not feeling like I over ate or worse, ate unhealthy even if it was, "vegan." The "meats," are soy based, but everything on the menu has a description so you know exactly what you are eating. Loving Hut has burgers, pho, curry and more. The dessert was unique and incredible. Taste, texture and presentation of all the food was great! Belly full, heart so,so glad! read more

Tried this restaurant for the 1st time yesterday and WOW. Was so happy with the costumer service, space for dine in and the food was actually amazing. I ended up getting 4 desserts and 3 different plates of food. Already planning my return. Def recommend! read more

Love this place!!!! Perfect for any craving The delicious wonder of my dinner!!! Lol I ordered this about 20 mins before closing and everything is so FRESH!!! Yes, the Southern/McClintock location is open. It has been for more than a few weeks. The day I visited was coincidentally their soft opening day.
