This place is the best! I'm actually mad at myself for not leaving a review sooner because I've used them for years. I don't get a ton of px but when I do, it's the best experience. A few years ago, someone I knew suggested using a smaller pharmacy and not a large brand like CVS or Walgreens. Wow they were so right! Found loving hands with a quick search to see which ones were near me. I'm only a block away from them so the convenience is great. The first time we used them, I needed antibiotics and they delivered it to my door step later that day so I didn't have to get out of bed. AMAZING! Just used them this last week. My doctor prescribed me a newer pill and they didn't have it in stock but said they could order and have in one day, which was great, however they warned me that it was coming up as $280 which seemed odd. So I called my doctor and px coverage and they said it's because it's such a new medication with no generic etc. so I called them back and said well I guess I will just pay the $280 Because I need it. They said maybe they can search around for some coupons and deals. They told me to go to the pills website and there were some deals on there and to sign up and tell them the code I get sent. Did that, they said ok let us see what this code can get off of the pills and call back. They called back an hour later and got the cost down to under $200. I was so in shock that they cared so much about how expensive this was for me. They truly care! They are awesome. I've also never waited in line when I'm there, never had issues with parking. We came here for the first time today. I had a harrowing experience in the emergency room, and when we got to CVS on Moorpark Road and Janss road, the pharmacist asked when I needed my prescription, and I said "as soon as possible, but hopefully 20 minutes." She laughed said "we have a back-up. It will be two hours, at least." So I took my prescription and left. I looked up pharmacies in the area and found this one. I first called to make sure they were open, and told the pharmacist we were on our way. I told her that CVS had a 2-hour wait, and she replied"Oh my goodness!" I liked her already. When we arrived, we found a quiet pharmacy with a comfortable waiting room (with water, coffee, cookies and candy and a TV!!!). It took her about 15 minutes to fill my prescriptions, and she gave my husband and me goodie bags with welcome gifts. After a very stressful and scary morning, it was wonderful to run across such tender loving care. We are moving to the area in a few months and we already added this pharmacy to our contacts so we wouldn't forget. But there was no need, because we also got refrigerator magnets. What an amazing, old fashioned concept with a caring pharmacist who even fought with our insurance company on our behalf when they said it was too soon to fill one of my prescriptions. Since I'm going on vacation, she secured a "vacation override" so I'd be sure not to run out during my trip. And they have free delivery! What more could one want? When going through illness or pain, it is a comfort to know there's a pharmacy nearby that will pamper you and not treat you like a number and herd you around like so many cattle. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! My fiance saw this ad for PPE supplies and asked me to check it out. The prices seemed rather high. Digital thermometers were over $10, N95 masks $12, gloves (100 per box) were $13, hand sanitizer is made on-site, $5 for small size and $8.50 for regular, toilet paper rolls are $2 EACH! But what really shocked me the most is that the pharmacist who prepares the prescriptions came out to answer a customers question about their medication and had NO GLOVES and NO MASK on when she came out front to talk to the patient picking up their medication!!! I guess she thinks it's okay to handle medication and talk to people without any type of COVID 19 preventive measures. NOT A SAFE PLACE..... Is their sanitizer really okay? It's up to you. read more

I have been coming here for about a year now since they opened. They always have my Meds ready as it's a monthly order. But I never have to call and order it. I just go in and it's ready! They are the nicest people and it's so convenient not having a huge line to wait in for service! I will never go anywhere else again! The only complaint I Had was weekend hours, but I see now they are open until 3 pm on Saturday which is great! I highly recommend this pharmacy if you are sick of the rat race of the large pharmacy! This is the best pharmacy I've ever been to! First of all, they are SO nice and welcoming to their customers. When you walk in, they take your prescription and then show you to this awesome waiting room stocked with tons of magazines, water, coffee, tea, crackers, cookies and a really big bowl of candy. Last time I was in there, I even noticed a sign for free wifi but I didn't even have a chance to use it because my Rx was ready so fast so I can't speak to whether or not that part is true (I have no reason to doubt it though). They get your prescriptions ready super fast and If needed they'll even deliver your Rx for free. Loving Hands truly lives up to its name. read more

buyer beware!!!!!! this pharmacy is now in the practice of "extortion"and hold your medication for ransom. i have been going to this pharmacy for a number of years. i've been short changed out of refills because the expiration dates come before i request my refill. now the new thing is the owner is charging an amount 5x' to 10x's my copay this amount is extra unexplained and illegal i'm even told to pay the extra money in cash. when i asked the pharmacist to call the owner about it i can hear her tell the poor woman "that if i don't pay it i can go somewhere else". really?!!!!!! i'm a disabled senior citizen... this is unacceptable!!!! i cant imagine how many other patients this greedy unethical woman has charged because she won't give you your rx without the money. i feel very sorry for the pharmacist who is the only reason i stayed at this place.. she has always been extremely nice and helpful. goes the extra mile to make sure you get your medication. Let's just be very clear here! There was ABSOLUTELY NO MISUNDERSTANDING IN YOUR VOICE WHEN YOU WERE CALLED YESTERDAY IN FACT YOU SOUNDED PERTTY ARROGANT ABOUT IT. Also I was on the phone with one of my daughters who along with her family will no longer be using your pharmacy. This includes ALL my family members. You did what you did AND YOU said what you said. What a pleasure - I'm 80 years old and have way too many scripts to manage. But after waiting in long long lines for years at several CVSs wondering why I keep returning. Finally I gave up and found this lovely place with a most helpful and genuinely friendly pharmacist - Marina. I had no RX insurance card with me at that time. "Don't worry, I'll take care of that" she said, "please make yourself comfortable in the next room and have a cup of coffee or any other beverage.". The next room had a television and comfortable seating with many magazines. I did not have to wait long. Wow! And when my refills became ready, she gives a personal call. Parking is only a few steps away - and on going back, there hasn't been any delay. We like that. Do yourself a favor, check 'em out. Good luck. read more

Loving Hands Pharmacy goes above and beyond always exhibiting exceptional care for their patients. Sandy is hands down the best. He's quick, sharp, responsive, follows up and always has a smile. I find that they always go the extra mile by delivering prescriptions (for free) when I need them and can't leave because one of my kids is napping or sick. They once even stayed after hours to give me my prescription because my doctor's office had called it 1 minute before they closed. If they don't have what our prescription requires in stock (rare), they even run to their Simi location to get it. They are kind, compassionate and run a business that invites their customers back. I can go to any pharmacy but I choose this one for all the reasons I noted above. The first time I went there, the owner welcomed me by giving me a mug and a pen . They really remind me of a friendly neighborhood business. Props to Sandy - he's really the face of that establishment and makes for such a easy, positive experience. I was compelled to write this based on my last experience when my Dr.'s office called in my prescription at 5:59 and Loving Hands Pharmacy accommodated me whereas most establishments would have closed and reopened the next day to handle it.
