Lemon bar, needs more lemon curd
    Kim T.

Was nearby for a wedding, decided to pop in for a hot beverage of chai pumpkin spice latte and a lemon bar Lemon bar: was craving more ratio of lemon, scraped the powdered sugar off so it was less sweet. Pumpkin spice chai latte: enjoyed the slight burnt flavor to it, in a good way. Asked for it less sweet, which I am glad . All in all cute spot, decent amount of seating

The food is excellent. I'd probably give it a 9 out of 10. I do like the gluten free clam chowder and their fries are so good and different from anywhere else. The view is amazing! Staff is friendly and super helpful and accommodating. I eat here pretty frequently whenever I'm working in the area. At night they have a heated enclosed patio so you can still hear the waves while you dine. Excellent cocktail options. Menu has something for everyone.

I came here to get a drink and food after we went to the beach. The place was crowded and had a few tables but they were allWe ordered the chai latte and grilled cheese.

Cute coffee spot with lots of seating, and stunning views. I've only gotten coffee here, always delicious and to my liking. Friendly service from person taking my order and another one making coffee were both personable.. even shared a few laughed I like to stop here while I'm on my walk.

One of the most delicious double espresso shots ever. Added a pump of caramel sauce and the server was polite and smiled when taking my order. The eating areas were very clean considering it literally sit a few yards from the beach. Not much sand on the floor at all

This place has it all! Great seating and ambiance, friendly staff and amazing sandwiches! For the picky eater there are hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches. For the more adventurous pallet there are my favorites the Cuban with ham and spicy sauce and the new vegetarian smash burger made with jackfruit! Full coffee bar as well, for whatever your coffee needs are!

Unfortunately, the only thing good about this place is the ocean view. If not for that they have nothing going for them. We ordered a banana muffin and a strawberry matcha latte. The banana muffin was extremely mushy on the inside and smelled funky, fermented and rotten sour. I had to spit the bite I took out and my friend refused to try it. She did smell it and confirmed it was bad. I've never had a muffin that god awful. So I went back and told them the muffin is bad. They tossed it and offered another selection. So I got the cinnamon roll. They offered to heat it up. I should have known that's a sign that the cinnamon roll was not freshly baked as well. We took a bite and the outside was hard, dry and stale. The inside was okay and soft which is how the entire roll should be. Then I had some strawberry matcha latte and it was like sweet like syrup! I went back to ask for hot water and used up 3/4 of the cup to dilute the matcha latte. Then we used their restroom and it was filthy!! The vent had nasty lint and dirt hanging off of it. There was no ventilation and it was just stuffy. The corner of the bathroom had cobwebs. Whoever owns this place has zero pride in their establishment and could care less about their customers health both in food and hygiene.

Friendly, fast service and pretty average prices. We got an iced vanilla matcha and a hot mocha. Both were phenomenal, so delicious! Not sure why they have poor reviews, I think this place is lovely! Right next to the coast so the views are beautiful. Highly recommend :)

Ah, the views is perfect. This cafe is kissed by the fog most mornings. A loving kiss indeed. You can feel the positive vibe. The view us 5 stars, however the hot chocolate is only three stars. It is not easy to meet the 5-star threshold. I do admit I have high expectations. The chocolate should be scalding and almost syrupy. Let's not skimp on that magical cocoa bean that in bygone days only the king could eat/drink. Back to the cafe, it is worth a visit after a short walk along the shore. Great staff.

Located right next to the Lover's Point parking lot, this cute cafe serves up plenty of delectable items, like breakfast sandwiches, crab salad panini, chocolate chip muffins, hot cocoa, and various coffee beverages. I got the croissant egg sandwich with bacon, and an iced mocha. Everything was made fresh and yummy, I even watched the bacon sizzle on the grill. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, with tabletops that actually light up with scenes of the ocean, and the actual ocean outside as a beautiful backdrop to this awesome spot. And the staff was friendly, adding to the bright and welcoming atmosphere.

This is a great cafe right on the ocean front of Lover's Point Beach. I go here often and have never had a bad experience with the food, drinks, or workers. They are extremely welcoming and friendly! On this visit, we got the club panini and breakfast sandwich with bacon. Also got a caramel latte, house drip coffee, and blueberry scone. The scone was one of the better scones I've had before and it tasted super fresh-- enjoy it warmed up! Both of the sandwiches were extremely tasty! Love eating at the tables right outside their store and admiring the ocean views while people watching!

Enjoy this picture. That's the only thing this place has that is positive.

We were sat right away and offered drinks, orders taken, and food came out quickly. I had the smoked salmon benedict, which is one of my go to's for breakfast. My friends both had the classic country breakfast. My only, and very minor compaint, is that my food came out a little cold. I was surprised because it did come out seemingly fast. Cold food is one of my pet peeves, but I didn't feel like sending it back. Even as a semi cold meal my food was very good! Even the oven roasted potatoes it came with were bomb. We were tended to consistently between the bussers and servers who all worked together. The service was very fast and friendly. For lunch, I went with their Big Sur pizza on gluten free crust. The crust was impressive. Not my favorite I've ever had but still a really good job. The pizza was vegan with fried oyster mushrooms, baked white mushrooms, various veggies, and a red sauce with white sauce drizzle. Pizza was great. Really sold me on coming back the next day. As for brunch, they did not have the GF biscuits. The gravy was still vegan and they offered to serve it on GF focaccia bread. However, at $22, I couldn't do it. Besides, I would at least need to add a couple eggs for some protein and I wasn't about to spend all of that on brunch. So instead, I went with huevos rancheros. This was excellent. The poblano sauce was spicy and hearty, the tortillas nice and crisp, and the pinto beans an interesting change of pace. The potatoes were awesome. Place is plain and pretty basic. The outside seating is in the sun and facing a blacktop parking lot, so you don't come here for the ambiance. But the food and service were excellent. Great vegan meals.

The fun artwork and paintings throughout the restaurant added so much personality and made the space even more enjoyable. We started with the duck pâté and bread. The pâté was silky smooth with just a hint of sweetness, paired perfectly with the toasted bread. It literally melted in your mouth. The octopus with bean and honey sauce was another standout. The sauce complemented the octopus beautifully. The octopus itself was incredibly tender and soft -- not chewy at all -- and honestly reminded me of some amazing octopus I had while visiting Portugal. The mussels came in a very generous portion, and the tomato sauce was so good you could drink it by itself. For our mains, we had the sea scallops and the seared tuna, and both dishes were excellent. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtful, and well executed. The coffee and tea cups were the Bodum brand, great quality, double-lined, and they kept the drinks warm while still being comfortable to hold. I had a pizza with non-dairy cheese. The crust was outstanding, with a great chew, just-right char, some of the better thin-crust pizza I've had. Miyoko's makes a fabulous cashew-based mozzarella pizza cheese that eschews binders and is a dense liquid rather than solid, and it's a remarkably good substitute for real mozzarella di bufala.
