WIFE REVIEW!!! I came here on a Friday and it was busy, I waited about 25 minutes as it was busy and I was a walk in! Anyhow I had this nice guy work on my feet! I selected the $30 pedicure with $5 callus removal because I'm extra like that! Anyhow they have all these nice products that smell so good and they rub you out with your package! I enjoyed myself. I would of liked my toes to be a little more cut down and filed but all in all it was a good massage. Don't mind my fat legs y'all, I'm 7 months pregnant. As I sat there towel wrapped my guy went and took care of another older lady, which was fine. She was just getting a cut down, file for her nails & clear paint.... But being in soaked towels that turn cold, was kinda unpleasant for me. I waited about 15+ minutes for him finish. I know we're suppose to soak but it took a little linger then normal. I got here about 2pm, waited till 2:30 and didn't leave till almost 4... so as you can imagine it was inconvenient... Again, service was great, No real AC, fans blowing, a few flies here and there--- but they are super friendly! Just a few things about my personal visit I didn't enjoy! Okay so really late on writing this review, this happened before COVID but i definitely want to put this out there... I needed to get my nails done last minute and this is literally like 5 mins from my house (my other nail place was packed) so it was convenient. BUT LET ME TELL! YOU WORST DECISION EVER . Long story short, I went in with the mindset that I wanted to get a yellow color for my mani, the nail tech guy straight up said "THAT COLOR WOULD NOT LOOK GOOD ON YOU" LIKE excuse me ? Did I ask for your opinion SIR!!?????. Went with the yellow anyways, and when he was applying the gel, for some reason the gel wasn't drying and he kept blaming me, that I kept touching my face and I kept getting makeup on them and that was preventing them from drying . I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TO A PLACE WHERE SUCH CRAPPY SERVICE HAPPENS WHEN THE PLACE IS SO DEAD! I came in because my acrylic nails were dull and I wanted to take them off, I called this location and asked how they take off the acrylics and she stated they drown it in acetone and take it off. That's what I booked for. As soon as I got there, no customers what so ever so I thought hey this will be fast. The nail lady knew what my appointment was but still did my nails incorrectly! She used an acrylic nail to take off my gel acrylics (which I wanted to avoid because it hurts) YET SHE DID NOT LISTEN. The first two nails came off easy so I wasn't upset but the third and fourth nail hurt and I told her to stop but she kept going and as soon as I told her I'm done she swipes my thumb leaving it bleeding! AND I WAS SO MAD! The manager came up and asked what's wrong and I told her my appointment was for acetone removal not quick and easy removal. AND The lady working on my nails didn't care! She gave attitude! She is the damn worse! The manager tried to settle the issue but I was upset and I asked for her name and her nail license. GUESS WHAT? This place has had many owners throughout the years. It's close to my moms house so I stopped by in need of a urgent pedi! By far the worst experience ever! A gentleman did my toes. He was so unbelievably rough.. he would pull my feet like i was a sack of potatoes.. I went with the option that included a massage.. well I couldn't wait for it to be over.. he would use his fingernails to massage me and dig them into my skin! Avoid!!! I literally got kicked out of this place! Im new to this salon, came in twice only. I liked the salon because of one of the manicurist, I believe his name is Tim?, he did such an amazing job with my gel manicure the first time. I went the second time to re do my manicure. But, only after ONE day my nail chipped. So I came in the following day to get a pedicure and took my sister for a manicure. Since I was there already to get a pedi, I asked one of the manicurist, which I believe is the manager, (skinny Asian woman) if she could fix my chipped nail since she's the one who did it and since I only got it 2 days ago-She told me that is wasn't her problem and that she wasn't going to fix it...?????? Like ok??? I paid money for my manicure, so I have every right to ask for a fix, especially after 2 days. She went on and on saying it wasn't her fault and that it's not a big problem and that it happens because we use our hands a lot.... LOL OK WHAT?? I was going to drop the conversation and just say never mind, but when she told me that it wasn't her problem, I obviously got infuriated!! I told her that every salon I've ever been to always has respected that and have always been able to fix it. She rolled her eyes and told me she can take off my nails and refund my money.... like are you fucking kidding me? Great customer service, right? Notttt! Like you're gonna go through all that trouble to take off my nails, but you won't do a simple fix? -_- I told her I didn't want a refund I just wanted a quick fix that SHE had to fix it since it was chipped after only one day.... she then, told me and my sister, that she will fix my nail but that she will not be able to give us service... what. The. Actual. Fuck!? I then asked her, "you will fix my nail but will not give us service?" And she replied "yes, I have a lot of people come in and I'm busy so you have to leave" mind you there was only 1 customer AND prior to that she had no problem giving us service. So then i told her not to fix my nail but to do my sisters manicure and she refused. She said she'll fix my nail but not give us service. I told her never mind and we got up and left after she sarcastically said "come come let me fix since it's my job to do so". We walked out. I walked back in 1 min later to ask for her business license, she refused at first and I told her I have every right to ask for it, so she walked towards Tim's desk and grabbed a license.... so I'm sure she didn't even give me HER license.. I wouldn't be surprise that she didn't even have a license. BUT THIS WILL NOT GO UNJUST... I WILL MAKE A STORM AND REPORT THIS SHOP TO THE DCA. read more

Today was my first time coming here and I made sure I called ahead to see if they could do a fill for acrylics with ombré using pink powder. I saw they had some pictures here on yelp of the ombré and it looked nice! I came in and waited 20 minutes...which was fine and then Ann did my pedicure which I loved! However, the guy that did my nails, I was very unhappy with the result. I understand that I asked for a fill and that the previous person that did my nails used pink powder but it turned to a nude color after weeks. If you couldn't fix it, just tell me ahead of time. The guy filed my nails down a lot and I even started bleeding!!! On the bright side I loved the coffin shape he gave me! BUT when he was done, it was not an ombré. The girl next to me asked to see my nails and she even thought they looked horrible. Ann got Tim to fix my nails, which was very nice. They couldn't still give me the ombré look that I wanted so I had to settle for a solid color, that I didn't get to choose. 2.5 hours later I was still unhappy with my nails and I still ended up paying too much for what I got. I had an appt at 6.. wasn't started till 650 They did a pedicure for 25 that was supposed to be extra sea salt scrub & callus removal but it was a normal pedicure & didn't spend that much time on me. She started a white tip that was not even so I just asked if she could do a simple one color instead, she got up & went to help someone else. I sat there for 15 min almost walked out then they started my nails.... 32 for full set & gel. They're shorter than I wanted & I spent 2 hours here. I had Tammy give me a gel manicure. I asked for something glittery for Christmas. I picked one color and was going to pick another to compliment the glitter but Tammy insisted I choose what she wanted, because she "has been doing nails a long time and she knows what looks good". So...I let her. She took super long, my nails basically have no base color, just a clear glitter gel, the gel is cloppy and uneven. I am very unhappy with the set, especially because Christmas is so close. Now I have to find another salon to fix this...it is all just a big inconvenience. There is a MAJOR language barrier as well, none of the ladies can understand or speak English well. I have been coming here since early September 2017 and have been so satisfied every time. I would get a fill in/new set from Tim and they look amazing. Makes the nails look natural instead of some other places make nails look like fans. The service is great here too, if you need a color or design, they'll make it for you in that exact way you wanted. Do not be fooled by the welcoming attitude. The second they get comfortable they push services on you like a desperate vulture. Furthermore they get feisty when you decline and in turn you get a mediocre pedicure and a horrible nail job. The worst. Being new to OC I wanted to try a new nail place. I was given a recommendation so I checked it out. Completely disappointing not to mention expensive mistake. Went in for a fill and pedicure. Pedicure started w a Luke warm water, pAid extra for callus removal. The pedicure lasted about 12 minutes. $25 wtf! I let it go. I waited a bit to have another person get started on my nails. Fine no big deal I wasn't in a rush. Finally she started and they insisted the gel polish but my nails still turned out horrible. She did a total of 4 coats. 3 gel polish coats and one clear coat. They nails were not filed evenly and they looked so unnatural and thick. Most people pay $25 for new nail set, this was only a fill and still I paid $25. When it was time to pay I said add a $10 tip and she says ok plus $1.50 for using a credit card! I said what?!?? That got me really upset! I'm generous but don't take advantage of people. I left so upset and will never go back again! Stay away!!!! read more
