TERRIBLE SERVICE Do not go unless you want your skin to be glued to the acrylics, want the bacteria from the person before you, or want to stared at my Kevin. I went with Kevin to get my acrylics and he wouldn't stop staring at me and telling me I had a pretty face in such a creepy manner. When he started on my nails I noticed he didn't switch out his gloves -- his gloves were dirty with holes in them!!. Kevin didn't clean my nails and left cuticles as is. He proceeded to glue on acrylics that didn't fit my nail bed. I told him the acrylics he chose didnt and he decided to put even more glue and let the glue bleed over to my skin!! So, at that point not only did I acrylic nails bigger than my actual nail bed but he was GLUEING my skin to the acrylic!!! He noticed the glue had dried so he acted like he "filed" the sides. Little after, i see he is lifting the nails. I thought he was going to fix them or start over but NO.. he took part of the acrylic off and told me he had an appointment lined up and turned off his desk lamp... there was no one at salon. The salon was DEAD, they were about to close. I sat there confused with glue on every finger and part of the acrylic on my nails bc he didn't properly remove them. What the actual fuck. I now have to go to a different place to detach my skin from the acrylic nail he left. I tried to take some of it off but I still was left with acrylic glued on. Please save yourself your time and money and go somewhere else. This place is very unprofessional, dirty, and creepy.

NEVER EVER AGAIN! Kevin mentioned that it is $14 for the full set plus $17 for gel +6 dollars for the length of my nails!! Incredible! I understand that a lot of small businesses are suffering the causes of this pandemic but so are normal hard-working people like me and others who just wanted to treat themselves and end up paying more than what they are supposed to. Shame on them!

Nails done by : TAMMY she is amazing at what she does! My nails came out exactly like i wanted them to thanks to her! I always like getting glitter manis and pedis and she suggested putting a light color on the bottom and then the glitter on the top, which made it look AMAZING! TY SO MUCH TAMMY! ‍ not to mention pricing is amazing and affordable and the nails last pretty long! i also suggest if you want Tammy call ahead of time to book her!!! She also does waxing! I've been coming to this nail salon for years as it is down the street from my home. Recently I found out that the owner Julie sold the place and my nail tech Kevin is no longer here. I am so sad, Kevin was the best at doing acrylic nails and his wife Helen gave the best pedicures. Now I'm forced to look for a new place and new nail tech. I tried to get a pedicure from another lady, but I did not like the job she did. She didn't cut the cuticle, she didn't clean under my toenail, didn't cut the ingrown or trim the sides and didn't scrub or massage my feet So disappointed. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE Do not go unless you want your skin to be glued to the acrylics, want the bacteria from the person before you, or want to stared at my Kevin. I went with Kevin to get my acrylics and he wouldn't stop staring at me and telling me I had a pretty face in such a creepy manner. When he started on my nails I noticed he didn't switch out his gloves -- his gloves were dirty with holes in them!!. Kevin didn't clean my nails and left cuticles as is. He proceeded to glue on acrylics that didn't fit my nail bed. I told him the acrylics he chose didnt and he decided to put even more glue and let the glue bleed over to my skin!! So, at that point not only did I acrylic nails bigger than my actual nail bed but he was GLUEING my skin to the acrylic!!! He noticed the glue had dried so he acted like he "filed" the sides. I went here because they had a sign outside saying it was $14 for a full set so I very confident sat down and did my nails did not ask for anything special other than gel color I did not ask for any special shape .. The man did a great job however when it was time to pay they said it was $37 when I asked what about the special? Haven't been here in years!!! I decided to stop by yesterday and wow I will definitely be back! Their prices are amazing and I love their work. Kevin did my fill. Kelly did my pedicure. They both do such a good job, Kevin however is a must see for acrylic nails. I really liked that they had relaxing music when I was there made it that much more enjoyable. Please save your money! The manager is so rude, and doesn't know good customer service. I went in on Saturday for full set. I got home and the gel started coming off, so I called they told me to either go back right now or wait till Wednesday. I said, no I have a wedding in 2 hours. I want to go in tomorrow. The manager wanted me to wait till Wednesday because Sunday was too busy. I walked in early on Sunday. The ladies who were there looked at my nails, and they agreed with me on how bad my nails looked. So they asked me to wait for the manager. The manager walks in and looks at me, but proceeds to ignore me. He takes another customer who was waiting. The lady who was helping me tells him to look at my nails, and they're arguing in their language so I don't really know what they are saying. He still doesn't acknowledge me, so finally after 5 minutes he comes and looks at my nails. He says, I said to wait till Wednesday. I wasn't going to wait till Wednesday just because Sunday is "too busy". This is why I woke up early to be one of the first customers of the day. He didn't end up doing my nails, and the kind lady who was helping me out from the start ended up doing my nails. I am never going back here again this wasn't my first bad experience with them. read more

The rating is based on the false advertising they have in the front of the salon. I went with my husband and mother in law. It says acrillic 15, pedicure 12. So we went in hoping to get good prices. They charge $5 extra if you want medium to long nails. Medium being the tip of the finger. The nails have little bumps on them that you can clearly see with the reflection. Men get charged $15. And despite that they still didn't want to cut his cuticle. They were rude a few times and it seems like they only want to get on to the next customer. $30 for ombre acrylic. read more

Came in at 05:15pm with my sister and niece, we had an appointment at 05:30pm. My niece and I were able to have our nails done but my sister was skipped twice!!! Not to mention the lady that is doing my niece's nails took almost 2hrs to do when it should have 45-50mins. In all honesty, you have a better chance getting your nails done somewhere else were they honor the appointment time and not skip you over. This was the most ridiculous thing ever!! My sister didn't not travel from MN to be skipped over. Horrible customer service the manager has favouritism with his clients so if you're planning on coming in don't! I highly recommend Kathy's Nails!! Excellent customer service and better nails for your buck! read more

I went in with a prior hot pink gel and wanted a new mani.. the guy going my nail left a bunch of hot pink all over my nails.. He seemed like he was rushing and only did one coat of the white polish..I asked if the spots were going to stay there and he was MAD and started drilling over the gel... The pics I posted is the end result of him still drilling on my nails.. I asked Kevin if he could help and he didn't care he stated he couldn't do anything since I had hot pink polish from before.. I have never had this issue and I always get gel mania.. I guess I get what I paid for $$$ read more

Kevin is the worst. After removing my acrylic nails, he yanked the center part of my real nail making it bleed. He wanted to continue with adding a new set and I had to stop him telling him I'd need to be back another day because it can get infected. He started yelling at me telling me I wasted his time. UNEVEN NAILS. WORST nail salon I've been too. I decided to go to this one because it was close to the gym I workout in & it was a MAJOR disappointment. When I walked in I noticed that they do not use bags for the pedicures and it seemed very unsanitary. There was a guy doing my nails and he was very rough even after I told him if he can file softer. I asked for a coffin shape and he gave me these ! HORRIBLE never coming here again ! Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

At first I didn't love the gap that made it look like my nails had grown out a little. BUT, it has a purpose and my nails last me over 6 weeks. I usually have to get them done because how much they grew out, never had any chipping or lifting. Lin knows how to shape my toenails just how I love them. If you prefer a gentle massage she's your gal. Cash only Parking is limited but next building over has parking. Not the Chinese food place. I'm simple so $90 will get my gel pedi and gel builder nails. You can't beat the price especially for the quality. Make an appointment because they stay booked and busy.

While the price is affordable, I will not come back due to sanitary issues & incorrect methods they use. We made appts for 12 pm and my nails were not started until 12:45 pm. My nail tech (Michelle) was very nice and she does nails well, however, she used the nail grinder tool to clean my cuticles. My cuticles HURT for hours after my nails were done and weeks after the appt, I still have cut up cuticles and scabbing from the blood (pictures attached). I wish I had known in the moment that this method is not okay; it should have been a cuticle cutter. Once I got to my car and quickly googled that I found: Grinders are made for shaping hard artificial or natural nail surfaces, not living skin. Using a high-speed rotating bit on the delicate cuticle and the nail bed can easily cause painful skin tears, deep friction burns, and severe infections. These aren't correct practices used by this salon; they are taking the easy route to get it done quickly. Would not recommend. I would give them 1 star but Yelp removes those reviews easily so that's why I'm putting 2-stars.

We were assured that wouldn't be a problem and were told another technician would be back from lunch shortly. That person never came back, so I ended up waiting until another technician finished someone else's pedicure before she could start mine, which defeated the purpose of booking both services at the same time. During my manicure, the owner (or manager) seemed to be rushing through the service. When I politely pointed out a few issues with the shape and some imperfections, she didn't seem happy about the feedback, which made the experience uncomfortable. As a paying customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect attention to detail, especially when getting acrylic tips, builder gel, and gel polish. To make matters worse, it's only been one week and one of my nails has already chipped. With the services I paid for, I expected my manicure to last much longer than that. Overall, I left disappointed with both the service and the quality of the work. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this nail salon.

However, there are some sanitation practices that need improvement--specifically, certain tools like nail bits should be 100% disposable or properly single-use, and that was not consistently followed. During my most recent visit for a manicure, I had a very disappointing experience. I am someone who struggles with nail biting, and I had been very disciplined in allowing my nails and surrounding skin to fully heal over the past few months. Unfortunately, the nail technician excessively cut the skin around my nails--areas that should not be trimmed. As a licensed cosmetologist, I am aware of proper nail care practices and understand what should and should not be removed. I did communicate multiple times during the service that the cutting was too aggressive, but the issue continued. By the end of the appointment, it became clear just how much skin had been removed. I am now dealing with painful sensitivity and multiple hangnails on most of my fingers as a direct result. It's frustrating to have undone months of progress in one appointment. On top of that, my nail polish is already chipping on one of my nails, and the entire polish layer is lifting and will likely come off completely, which is disappointing so soon after the service. While I truly wanted to continue coming here, this experience has made me reconsider returning.

These aren't even square and she kept cutting the side of my toe nails and filing them back when they were too short and hurt. I've been coming. Here for a long time this is probably the worst shaping I've ever gotten here. I could have done my own shaping better than that at home. Just ridiculous *** it was around 5-7 weeks since my last pedicure so my toes were not "really short" besides the big toe that broke. I added another picture to show that she was filing into my toe nails after cutting them super short as short as she could get them and made half of them round and tiny. She also cut the sides of the nails which you aren't supposed to do due to infection and hang nails. I asked her not to do this. there was no reason for her to cut the sides of my nails on one foot and not the other leaving with me with uneven toes. I appreciate the response but I feel that there should be an attempt to fix the situation instead of making excuses or insinuating that I'm making this up.
