First pedicure since Covid. Definitely make an appointment and try to know which treatment you want. I needed Nuskin ($45) to get rid of all my cracks and callouses. I've never had a pedicure or anything here. I've only ever gone for acrylics. I went there a couple times for an acrylic set. One time I went for a fix and they asked me like 3 times if I got them done there. I kept pointing at the tech that did my set and they just didn't believe me??? Idk. They're really rough. I ended up going somewhere else where they do acetone soak removals and found a couple exposed nail beds from this place ripping off my acrylics to get a fresh set. They're also super overpriced. $50 for a set that didn't even last me 2 weeks before they started breaking. I go to a girl that charges $20 and these have lasted me 3 and a half weeks. read more

This is [was] my go to nail salon, I usually don't have a problem with the quality of service. However on August 12, I called around 2pm to see if they were business and was told "no, we're available come in". I didn't catch the lady's names (I don't have a preference on who does my nails) the lady's worked on my pedicure and manicure simultaneously. The lady doing my manicure must've been in a hurry, she only did 2 thin coats and didn't make sure my nail lengths were filed evenly. She was done before the lady doing my pedicure had even started (she was only able to remove the previous gel polish and when she looked up my manicure was done). After she finished with my pedicure, I paid $75- tipped her $10 and the other lady $5= $90, just for the gel polish to start chipping less than 24hrs later. I've been to this salon where the lady giving me a pedicure was the one answering the phone, assigning clients to technicians and I sat there patiently for 2+ hours getting a gel pedicure , watching people who came in after me leave before me. I didn't complain, I didn't ask for a discount and I even reassured her, "it's fine, I know you're busy." read more

Just went there for the first time yesterday and I have to say I will definitely be back. The lady that did my mani and pedi did a great job, she was so gentle and asked if everything was looking good. She even swatched two polishes for me before deciding and was super nice about it. Most places aren't nice when it comes to mail polish decisions. I'm very shy to speak up about my nails but she did it for me. On a Tuesday night at 5:30pm, I decided to walk in since it's near my work place. They had 1 customer, so it wasn't busy. Yet, no one acknowledged or welcomed me as I entered the store, so I had to wait a bit to get a technician's attention. Hello!? $28 for gel removal and gel manicure. Since they were closing in 1.5 hour, the lady seemed to be rushing her work. She started to make personal calls on her iphone and spilled stuff on the table. Facepalm* At the same time, she used a brush to "clean" the sides of my polished nails, but she made it worse and uneven. Plus, she rarely talked to me. It's cool, I will stare at the TV instead. I typically don't like to chat while getting my nails done but the woman doing my manicure had a lot to say. The man doing my pedicure didn't, which I liked. He did a wonderful job. I over-tipped because he worked really well on my feet. He also dug out some ingrown toenails I had. He didn't tell me I had them but I figured it out when he plucked a piece of nail out of my toe. The woman doing the manicure wasn't as awesome. I asked for a colored french manicure with a white line underneath (for both mani and pedi) and she forgot I asked and the end result was OK but not glossy at all because she only did one topcoat. He didn't forget and did a good job and my toes look so much more glossy (still after a few days) than my fingernails. They have spa chairs. Love it. LOVE! And big plasma tvs with the sound turned up I could happily watch the chick-flick of the day. All in all... good times. They do the job and if you get the guy, he'll do it thoroughly and you can relax. Location is easy to get to and you're not facing any other person but the TV. Awesome. read more

I will NEVER return. I had been a loyal client and I am in complete rage over today. I had an appointment and was patiently waiting. The wait was almost an hour, I understood they were behind and was patient. However, another client walked in demanding her nails be done and she couldn't wait. They took that rude client over me knowing I had been waiting and had an appointment. I hate this place now, how dare you waste my time like that. Beyond pissed and I can't comprehend the reasoning behind that decision. Then speaking in their language as if I couldn't tell they clearly noticed that I was next! Fuck this place!!! Do not go here. Hi ladies.. I know it's been 3 months since my last review but I thought it was important I would share this... So after coming here and posting a review on the bad service I started noticing days later that my big toe was feeling itchy. I let it go on for a couple of weeks including a month after since I didn't think it would be bad and treated it with ointment and still I refused to update my review because I thought it wouldn't make sense to since it was a month period of time that I didn't make the post. However, three months in I just wanted to share photos of how the "itch" on my Toe turned out. I did not visit any other salon after coming here, I painted my own nails at home due to me being afraid to visit a new salon. I was afraid after leaving the lucky Nail & Spa salon that the work hadn't been done properly since I did feel a bit of pain from the poking and the nail cutting on this toe and boy was I right. That being said, my toe has severe Fungi and now also has an ingrown nail. An apology coming from the Salon through Yelp is not enough for the pain that I am constantly in. To those of you who get your pedicures here and have had good experiences, I thank God for you because unfortunately mine was actually not only overpriced for the job that was done; but painful, horrifying to say the least. In response to Nancy's review... I HATE HAPPY NAILS TOO!! THEY MAKE ME SOOO ANGRY! :[! So today, I just happened to pass by Lucky Nails- I remember searching them up on yelp but I didn't remember what the other yelpers said. Here's the basic overview... UPFRONT: They have a nice selection of examples for you to choose from if you're looking for acrylics- sparklies, flower designs, glitters, you name it, they can probably do it. I also liked how each example had a price label on it so you know they're not trying to jip you for your money. The receptionist was very nice, and was helpful in picking out the right design for me. I decided upon the white glittered tips for a total of $35 (shown in the uploaded pictures). DURING: I'm really picky about nails (as I am about hair) so I usually let them know before hand what I want, and if I see something I dont like, I'll be sure to voice it. So when the lady started putting a really really thick layer of the wet powder stuff on my nail, I made sure she knew I liked my nails evenly done and thin. She reassured me that they'd turn out thin- and most of them did, although some of the tips were uneven. (I judge a good manicure by how evenly the acrylics are cut, and how even the thickness of the tips are sanded). My manicurist did hurt me a little bit while using the spinning sanding tool around my cuticles but everything was okay until she dabbed alcohol on them. I was in pain for about 5 seconds per nail with the alcohol but other than that, I guess everything was okay. PROS: - They do have nice plasma screen TV's and the girl was nice enough to actually turn around the whole table so I was able to watch 'Step it Up 2' while they did my nails. - They only spoke to each other in Vietnamese when the others came over to admire her work on my nails - They didn't try to push anything on me (extra wraps, pedicure, etc) I was in, and I was out within an hour. ( I LOVE SAVING TIME!) - I didn't feel like they were rushing their job to try to get me out quickly so they can get to the next customer either :) CONS: - The manicure itself looks decent, but I want to say that the even-ness of my nails can be improved (although you can't really tell by the picture). - I feel like these might start coming off within two weeks- but that's just my experience so I'll update this when I find out. - Besides the basic cuticle oil at the end, there was no lotion, and no hand massage to conclude our session- after the cuticle oil, I was told to wash my hands and then escorted to the front to pay. Overall, I am satisfied with my $40 manicure ($35+$5 tip) because I think they came out cute and for a decent price (even though the minor 'unevenesses' still bother me). And, I had an appointment at Hime's for next wednesday that was probably going to cost me around $100, so I'm glad I saved the $60~ I guess Hime will have to wait til next time! :) read more

Joanne takes her time time soaking and scraping off your old Gel.. she does NOT use any machines to remove them faster. This is soo important to me because, after years and years of going to another place my nails were so thin and brittle because they would just use their machines to get my old gel off taking layers of my nail with it. She knows what she's doing and she takes her time cleaning your cuticle. this is my second Gel and I already feel my nails stronger!! read more
