They did a lovely job. I got a cat's eye manicure and it turned out so pretty. Lee got me started and Kate finished up. I was there right before they actually opened but they took me right away without having to wait. I was in the area and it was convenient to stop here. Prices were reasonable. read more

I walked in and asked what the wait would be for a pedicure. I was told 10-15 mins. After a few minutes they put me in the chair, started process of soaking my gel polish off. Left me sitting there for 40 minutes. By the time they came over to start filing the tub with water I stopped them and told them to forget it I just want a polish change as I had places to be. She attempted to cut my nails I told her just paint them I do not want anything else done. She cut them anyways, she made the nail on my one toe crooked. I go to pay and leave and they charged me $48! I brought my own gel polish in also so all they used was acetone, 2 pieces of foil, a nail file and clippers. Never had an experience like that at a salon ever. Bunch of crooks who did a bad job and lied about the wait time just to secure business. read more

very disappointed little over two hours getting a pedicure , showed few pics of something I wanted simple and basic for a upcoming wedding. wanted a natural clean look , no vibrant bright or wild color. I got glitterly silver- and when finished I went to my vehicle pulled away went around the corner and polish started coming off go back inside and ask for a fix and explain I was just there few minutes ago still try to charge me after the polish was old. read more

Little longer wait than usual with or without appt because they are short staffed but great service!

Tucked away in a plaza near Target.. my expectations were not high. Upon walking in, the salon itself is nothing fancy- but its nice. The reason I'm giving this nail Salon 5 stars is very simple. Service. They were kind to me when I walked in. The salon was super busy which made me think I would definitely get a rushed pedicure, but that was not the case at all. She took her time as if the place was empty and I was the only customer she had for the rest of the day. I honestly felt pampered!! There is nothing worse than a rushed pedicure.. so the extra long rub down was GREATLY appreciated. I felt great when I left and I will DEFINITELY be back! read more

One year later!! So I had no choice but to go in here bc all other canton salons suck at nails themselves. So I figured I would take the risk of being cut again over my nails being shitty. Anyways....they won me back. I believe her name was Lindsay, (the only white girl lol no offense) she did a fabulous job! Not only that she was quick! My nails look amazing! My fingers aren't cut! Unfortunately she doesn't do acrylic for those of u who do that. But if u want some powder dip she is def the way to go!! I most def will be returning to see her and her only!! Original Review: My nails at least look ok, but the lady scratched up my leg during my pedicure. Not only that, but she couldn't stay focused on what she was doing. She kept looking around, eating whatever she was eating, watching the tv, whatever. Often kept pausing, hands on me not doing anything. What should have been maybe an hour and a half trip to the salon turned into 3 hours. Try #2 I should have gone with my gut and not gone back. Like yea ok my nails look good, but for some reason I always leave with some markings. 3 fingers on each hand are bleeding bc she decided to get to close to my skin when filing them. Like seriously?? Not ok. I don't see how they have any good reviews if both times I left there they leave me bleeding. Never Again!!! And just like another review says, they take people out of order. There was one person ahead of me when I got there and they called 4 ppl before me. So unprofessional. You guys need to learn how to do your job!!! read more

Had a pretty good experience here. I made a reservation for a party of 4 to get our nails done. Upon entering, none of the employees greeted us. We were confused what to do so we waited around for about 5 minutes before we saw a paper sign in sheet. We put our names on the sheet. Make sure you put on the sheet if you have an appointment! There is not a space for it but they do not check their appointment book when taking customers back. After about 10 minutes someone came over and took us back. However, there was a miscommunication because they took us back to the pedicure station, and we signed up for manicures. They took one member of our party for her manicure after the miscommunication was resolved. We all went to different parts of the salon at different times, so we didn't finish at the same time. Overall, my nail tech did a good job. The price was great for a gel manicure! It was about $20 cheaper than the place I normally go to. All in all, I would say it's worth it for the price now that I know the flow and how it works there. read more

Came in yesterday and it was truly a nightmare. I came in with my mother and wife, who also got their nails done. I wanted a full set, even though it was busy I was seated relatively quickly and an older gentleman came over to work on my nails. I should have known it would be bad, since I was put off from the beginning. He kept telling me to relax my hands but pulling on them at the same time so he didn't have to lean in... thus making me more tense. But I persisted. I showed him a reference picture for the sort of nail shape I wanted (coffin nails, a bit like stiletto nails but with the tip squared off), he said okay and we were on our way. About midway through, I realize two things: I hate these nails, and I want this to be over. They looked... fat. The nail shape is supposed to be feminine, but instead I look like I have squared off nails that got too long. When he asks me to wash all the acrylic gunk off, it's even worse. They're lopsided, uneven, some nails are longer than others... truly awful. Top this with the fact he's literally SCRAPED AWAY at the sides of my fingers while he's filing and left me BLEEDING, and I'm monumentally upset. I'm in tears by now. I don't see how these can be fixed, and on top of that I don't really want him to try and fix them because my fingers hurt. My mom also tells me they look horrible and that I should say something, and I'm right in the middle of telling her I don't know how they can be fixed when the guy tracks me down and demands to know what is wrong. I'm trying to explain it through tears and he starts SCOLDING ME because I should have said something earlier. He takes me back to the booth and starts "fixing" my nails. They still look wrong, but at this point I'm wondering if I went too short or if the shape isn't for me. He's still scolding me the whole time, so I decide to cut my losses and just get the polish on so I can go home. After I've washed a second time, he has the balls to ask me to pay him $30. He explains that he's actually saving me $3 because it's supposed to be $33. I ask him how, since the board says a full set is $28. He tries to explain it, but his English isn't the best so I tell him I don't understand. He pulls the manager over. The whole salon is looking at me. Awesome. The manager explains that the SHAPE of the nail is a $5 add-on. I told them okay, but this was never explained to me nor is it on the board. I told them multiple times $2 is not a big deal, and I can pay it, but they should be making it more clear. The manager acquiesces and charges me $28. Polishing was the fun part. He continues scolding me, insisting that he told me, that it's a complicated shape to do (lol obviously) and that I should have paid $30. The whole time. Both the manager and other nail techs are telling him to let it go, but he just keeps at it. I completely shut down, and stop talking. Just "ok" and "mhm." Of course the polish looks like shit, but I figure I can take it off when I go home. I'm sitting waiting for them to dry and my mom comes over, who is appalled at how they look. I was about to let it go, but she came over to a nail tech who had worked on my wife's nails and asked if there was any way he could look at them. This is where the second star comes in, cause at this point I was about at a 0. He comes over, immediately identifies what's wrong, and takes ten minutes out of his time to fix them for me. I even like the other color I picked for the repolish a little better. I feel like an absolute idiot for not getting his name, but he was honestly the saving grace of this place. Also worth mentioning: my wife's and mom's nails looked awesome, so maybe it's just one rotten egg. Probably not going to come in again to find out, though! read more

I had a problem last week with a tech who was obviously unwell so she didn't do a good job on my French tip pedicure. i didn't want to complain because she was clearly having issues but I later wrote a note to the salon owner/manager. He was very apologetic, offering to fix my nails at no additional cost. When I went back he did a beautiful job, carefully paying attention to every detail. I'm very happy with their service and will definitely go back. I have a great set of French tips that should last quite a while. read more

I went in for the first time ever last week and if I could give 0 stars I would. My tech didn't say anything to me except "no" when I asked for a cut down and design. She stated she didn't have time?? It was slow enough she could have done it. NOT ONE nail was the same shape/length. Horrible polish job as well. I asked for matte top coat and was told she couldn't do that because they were out of it. It was literally sitting next to the regular top coat half full. She also didn't paint them down to the cuticle like they usually do. I had a crooked nail and pointed it out and she somehow managed to make it even more crooked. The owner did nothing for me, he didn't offer to fix them, or even compensate me for the horrible service. Horrible horrible place ran by shady people. If you are black don't go here I was discriminated against as soon as I walked in the door. I was told that they didn't know how long I had to wait which signified to me that the the owner didn't want my business. Also was told if I get white that if I scratch my skin that my nails will turn a different color. He tired to make me pay before he started laying the acrylic on my nails. Was told that what I asked for(which was a full set and a pedicure)was a lot of money! And that he didn't want me to tell him that he told me a different price when he finished! And when he finished my nails he told me that he didn't have time for me. There was a lady waiting to and I asked her was she getting a pedicure and she said yes. Which blew my mind bc I was told that he didn't have time to do my pedicure. read more

I've tried this place twice. The first time was a busy Saturday morning running around canton. The man told be 15 minutes when I walked in. After waiting 45 they finally sat me down in the pedicure chair. I was glad to have sat down because I was about to leave. I waited there soaking for an HOUR!!! I dried myself off, put my shoes on, and left. Here I am 6 months later giving it one more try because they were the only place with an appointment available. My appointment was 7:15pm, it is now 8:15pm and I have yet to be helped. Never. Again. read more

I have had mixed results going here. I like that they take walk ins and I could usually get in on short notice. However the nail techs I had were always pretty distracted or seemed focused somewhere other than my nails. I often had thick glob-y paint jobs on my acrylics and often ended up repainting my nails at home. Every few visits My acrylics would be really misshapen or miss covering part of my natural nail. I stopped going after they were "buffing" my already thin natural nails with the drill, and filed down to the skin on multiple nails. It was painful and made growing my nails out even more difficult than usual. They are fine for a last minute mani or pedi, but I wouldn't recommend getting acrylics here read more

I have been getting my nails done for 6 years-- usually at the same salon. My girl books up a month ahead of time so lately I've had a hard time getting in for a fill. I went in to this salon today as a back up. I made an appointment yesterday. I got there and was told that I would have to wait because "appointments got to go first". I didn't put that I had an appointment on the sheet because it didn't say so and I figured they'd look at their appointment book and see my name. Thankfully I got there when they opened so I didn't wait too long. The tech I got (I'm going to assume the owner, it was a male) was not exactly outgoing. I told him I knew my nails were bad because I had been trying to get in somewhere for weeks but my work schedule makes it difficult as I work 11-7 most days. He commented about the extra work he would have to put in. Didn't speak much. Pointed at things rather than saying "next hand" or anything. So that experience was slightly awkward. On the positive side, he paid a ton of detail to my nails and made sure they looked even. He made sure the polish was all over the nail and didn't miss any spots. He definitely did a very good job- so no complaints there. So, I didn't give 5 stars because I did not think my tech was very personable. But I'm giving 4 because otherwise, the place was clean and my nails were well done. The place was packed with regulars so I assume most people come back. read more

Horrible service! my daughter and I signed in together. the manager was so rude skipped over my daughters apt and instead of making it right she answered me with attitude and said she will just have to wait 20 minutes or more longer after waiting 30-40 min of us already waited. As the lady was already staring my nails and cut my cuticl in 2 places with blood everywhere. We ended walking out!! Will never go back there again read more

I'm giving one star only because there isn't an option to give any less. Being new to the area I was looking for a new salon. After receiving a bad shellac job at LV Nails, I found myself at Lovely Nails four days later with a lot of hope. THEY DID AN EVEN WORSE JOB. Lovely Nails - The worst shellac job of my life. - Nail Salons Near Me - North Canton, Ohio

By far the best pedicure I have ever had but MAKE AN APPOINTMENT- DO NOT WALK IN! Good: Now, let's be honest; most people don't really care about the color of their toenails but come sandal season we would like our heels to be round and not square. So, getting rid of the dead skin is key. She did an excellent job, I think I'm a couple of inches shorter. And...they use the callus shaver! I don't know why this isn't standard for everyone but it isn't. This was the third place in the area I tried and definitely the best. Bad: They only have 3 chairs which can be a nightmare in summertime I would never even attempt to walk in for a pedi here. I did it once and was so frustrated I just left and it took me a couple of months to even consider going back I was so mad. Part of the problem was their failure to properly explain to me that it would be a wait of well over an hour maybe two. When I walked in she only said it would be a little while without explaining that there were people with appointments coming. After more than an hour waiting for the people who were already in the chairs when I walked in the door I was not happy when 3 people with appointments came in. It was evident that I was going to have to wait at least another hour. She never made this clear to me. Not the cleanest place I've ever been mostly just the small uncomfortable waiting area. I wish they had more colors to pick from and that the polish was displayed better. The pedicure was $28 plus tax which was also the least expensive of all the places I went. read more

I've been here in the past for a shellac manicure and they did a fantastic job. I went back today after maybe 7 months of not going to this salon and the service was definitely not as good. To start off, the woman who did my nails didn't ask me about the length or shape of my nails. My natural nails were pretty long and she completely filed them down to the square shape, which isn't how I like my nails to be shaped. I like my nails to be more rounded or naturally shaped but she filed them to look very sharp and square. I also asked for a manicure so that my cuticles would look nice and she did not do a manicure. She just filed my nails and then painted the shellac base coat on. The polish job itself was pretty decent and I like the color but there are little things about the way she painted my nails that I do not like. She got some of the color on the side of my finger and did not wipe it off. She also got a drip of polish back on my cuticle and just left it there. When I left the salon, I was mostly happy with the way my nails looked. Then I looked at the shape of them more closely and my thumb has 3 sharp edges at the tip. I thought she was just smoothing out the top of the nail but it's completely rigid and not smooth at all. One side of my thumb nail is almost rounded while the other side is clearly more square looking. The woman that did my nails was an older lady that did not tell me her name so I'm sorry if this review doesn't help. I would not recommend this salon. Side note: My mom paid for my nails and tipped the woman $5. I wish I could give my mom the money back and tell the woman she didn't deserve a $5 tip. I will not be returning to this nail salon any time soon. read more

This is one of the worst places I've ever been to, and I've frequented numerous mani/pedi places. The place looks clean enough, but between the price, service, and a couple other things, I will never come back here. Most places I've gone to in Atlanta have been Asian-run, but I unfortunately had a nail technician whose English was simply incomprehensible. She would ask me a question, and I could make neither hide nor hair of what she was saying. She'd repeat it several times, and I would eventually give up and say yes or no, not sure exactly what I'd agreed to. Then there was the job that was done on my fingernails. I don't know how, but this woman completely messed up the shaping of my fingernails. I had 2-3 nails that were fine, naturally shaped, but then for example, on my left ring finger, it seriously was lopsided and no curve whatsoever. About 1/3 of my nails were like that. The thing that especially annoyed me, however, was the fact that my toenails were really poorly done. I spent so much time after the appointment walking carefully, sitting at that air drying thing, etc. And then somehow about 3 hours later, about 1/3 - 1/2 of my toenails were chipped. I do my own toenails fairly regularly, and nothing like that has ever happened to me before. Seriously, WTF?! Oh, and the fun thing that really topped this all off was the area where I was supposed to step up to the pedicure chairs, was covered in water. They put some towels down, but that doesn't really resolve the issue. To add insult to injury, with tip, I was out of $50 after my mani/pedi. That's more than I've ever paid in Atlanta, for a job I'm just going to have to redo myself. Yeah, I'm definitely not coming back to this place again. The only reason I gave them an extra star is my sister loves this place, and the massage chairs were super comfy and actually worked out a couple kinks in my back while I was getting my pedicure. read more

Absolutely terrible the girl who did my pedicure was fine but the gel fill that I got is beyond terrible paid $35 for absolutely nothing. The paint doesn't even meet my cuticle and is in jagged lines they shaped my nails so they look fat width wide and I simply am appalled at this. They gave me a full set a few months ago and did it wrong so air got in and caused mold under my nail. Do NOT go here! read more

My cousin and I planned a day to go get out nails done and we found this place and it had some good reviews. However, it was the biggest mistake. We waited about 45 minutes, signed in both gel manicures and pedicures. Finally we got to the pedicure chairs and the gentleman took a huge chunk out of my big toe! At first I thought he may have just snagged the cuticle but when I got home I realized how much skin he had taken off! He then covered the cut with clear nail polish! I had polish on my toes where he didn't even take the time to clean it up. When that was over we went over to get our nails done where he quickly did the shaping, quite horribly and crooked. Then did the French tip polish even though I wanted gel. One day later and all my nails are chipped and cracked. Not one nail looks like I just paid $60 the day before!! They got a burst of business at one time so maybe they were just rushing but my cousins' nails were all crooked and done quickly and messy. She wanted a manicure and the lady said she didn't need one and just painted her nails! We will not be back and I regret going in because it was a waste of $60! read more
