I have been going to Lovely since I was in high school- at least 12 years. The staff has always been so wonderful. They are fun to chat with and patient when I am choosing my nail color. Which takes me an awfully long time. No matter who is working on my nails, they are always top-quality. I went here with my wedding party and they were so accommodating, as always. Their no-chips always last me at least two weeks. Their mani- pedis always end in a warm towel after a massage. Who could ask for more? Another update for this place- In the last year I've been going here, the service has been fantastic. I've dabbled with other nail salons in the area too and none of them really compare to the overall consistency of Lovely Nails. Yeah, they might have weird hours or close early or whatever, but I've since learned they're a small family owned business and am more than willing to cut them some slack for that despite the potential annoyance I've experienced. THEY DELETE GOOGLE REVIEWS! So I'm coming to Yelp to spread awareness of how shady they are. HORRIBLE! A literal nail nightmare. First of all, they don't follow their own prices. I got a no chip pedi, $45, that's fine. Then I got a short acrylic set in white acrylic, which based of the price menu it should be $25, but I go to pay and I'm told it's $100? How? $45 pedi + $55 for this HORRIBLE JOB??? She said it's $55 because we used white acrylic. You mean to tell me using ONLY white acrylic cost more than PINK & WHITE ACRYLIC? She says yes. I say okay so you just don't even go based off your price menu then huh? She goes no. Look at this work. So sloppy, messy, and THE WIDEST TIPS IVE EVER HAD ON MY NAILS. NOT TO MENTION SHE SNIPPED MY FINGER 4 TIMES! Honestly and truly a horrible nail salon. Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

I have been going to this location for over 3 years and I actually go out of my way to get the spa pedicures here! Although there's nothing super fancy about this place, the staff and the cool fish tank are enough to keep me coming here. At other salons I feel like I'm sometimes interrupting a family event where I'm the only one who speaks English, but here the staff will talk to you if you want and they remember all their regulars! read more

Best place to get your nails done in Lisle! I get a pedicure every 3 weeks. I just love having my toes done! I had a friend tell me I should try Lovely Nails a few years back. Since then, I have never gone anywhere else. I even have my mom going here on a regular basis! (and the woman never had a pedicure, EVER, in her entire life until this year!) That is how good they are! They are always friendly and really take the time to work on you. I've never felt rushed. I've always left with perfect nails! Once I went home and tripped. Of course, this messed up have of my toes. I went back in and asked them if they could fix them, since they are less then a mile away from my house. They redid the entire foot at NO CHARGE! (Of course I tipped!) To anyone in Lisle, I recommend Lovely Nails for all your nail needs. read more

I just loved this place, me and my husband went to this place on our anniversary just to spend some time together and get mani pedi. Such lovely girls these people just don't rush you they take their time and provide you the best service. She worked so well my big toe is not hurting anymore, bless you girl.It's not fancy and all but hello not everybody is about bling. And their old guy he is one interesting man we enjoyed listening to his stories. The only flaw back I found was the parking lot of this strip mall but this is not related to their service. read more

I am extremely pleased with this place. I've gone to numerous places to get my nails done, and this by far is the best! The lady who did my no chip mani was extremely nice and it was wonderful. She trimmed and cut my nails exactly how I wanted them. I had a change of heart on the color mid-mani and she listened to what I wanted and made it happen. I am very pleased with the end result and I can tell my polish is going to last a long time. Will definitely be back again!! read more

Love this place..I use to live in lisle and I would cone here faithfully ever two weeks...now that I moved to south side of Chicago I can only make it out here about once or twice a month...but its ok because the pedicures really last and yes I am a faithful and loyal customer...I will drive an hour for a great pedicure and excellent customer service...now pedicures are 23 bucks (use to be 20) thanks economy but its still fairly priced and still worth it... read more

I have gotten two pedicures at this nail salon and both times have been absolutely great! The technicians are friendly and thorough, and my toes came out perfect each time. The prices are kept very reasonable with a standard pedicure costing $25 - anyone who has to touch feet for a living deserves to be tipped a pretty penny in my opinion, and considering the quality and professionalism here, I wouldn't think twice about adding a few extra dollars as a gratuity. Extra bonus: my favorite burrito place in Lisle is just a hop, skip, and a jump away so there's really no question in my mind about where to go when I need either fix. read more

I found this place on yelp and thank god because otherwise I would never have gone! You never know what you might get with the small mom-and-pop-type nail salons found in every strip mall. I had a $12 manicure which is probably as inexpensive as it gets in this area. The girls were knowledgeable and very good at helping me find a color I liked. I had no wait at 4pm on a Saturday. My only tiny complaint is that by Wednesday (4 days) my manicure has chipped terribly. It's not small chips, there are large chunks of the polish peeling off. Maybe it's because she did only a single coat of color or maybe it's from all the dishes I've been washing - I don't know but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to hear from other people if they have had the same issues with their manicures...Otherwise, it was a good experience and I'll probably give them a second chance to see if this time was just a fluke. When I first walked in I thought this place would be great... little did I know that it would be the worst set of acrylics I have ever gotten. During the filing part of my nail the lady cut my cuticles multiple times and she didn't do anything about it! I told the lady that I wanted the $35 set of gel acrylics, but once I went up to pay she said it was $45. I was confused but I knew I just had to pay. Once I got home I realized that my nails were bumpy, uneven, and crooked. I do NOT recommend going there EVER!!!!!! read more

This is the best nail salon I've been to in the area, with prices being average. It's very clean and updated. The staff is so friendly and take the time to get to know you! Very importantly: they don't rush to get the job done, and it shows. I've received nothing but flawless no-chip manicures and pedicures here. No-chip manicures have been lasting about 2-2.5 weeks for me (I work in a school and wash my hands/use sanitizer constantly). I highly, highly recommend this nail salon! read more

The older woman who worked on my pedicure seemed annoyed to be working. I don't know why people are saying prices are so great here... they're not that great especially considering the poor service. The instruments did not seem to be cleaned properly and there were mosquitos everywhere because they had the whole place opened up. I nearly got bit twice. I will never be back ! I have been coming here for about 3 years now because the lady that has been doing my nails does a good job. I came in today and sat down for almost an hour during that tine no one asked me what I was as getting. The girl that typically down my Nails (Lan ) was not there. During this time 4 people all white. Came in a asked for pedicures, 3 of which put there names down and left. They come back all for people are getting ready to be seated. I ask what is my wait I am told another hour and a half, I ask how. After waiting almost an hours. I am told because these people have a appointments. No they didn't I was there before all these people and heard them ask the wait and put there names down. She gives me attitude and says well I can't take you. I promise I am thrash confrontational person you will ever meet and at no point did I get loud but that was so rude and racist. And no one that work there that knew I was there even spoke up. There are a few men that do pedicures, and one in particular will massage your feet for 10 minutes and is so meticulous with painting. I found Lovely Nails through their Yelp reviews, and was not disappointed! I went on a Thursday afternoon for a pedicure. They only had a few customers and there was no wait. I was shown to a tub right away and was taken care of by a very sweet girl. The pedicure was basic, but she gave me a great scrub that was removed with a hot towel and a long, massage. Very nice. I almost never get a good massage at discount nail places like this, but when I'm paying $23 for a pedicure I don't really expect it. I'm just looking for my toes to look decent for a few weeks. Well, my toes look great! They have a good selection of polish, OPI, and a few others. I don't think I saw any Essie though. I went there expecting something pretty awesome I guess because of the good reviews, but honestly... far from impressed. A couple of positives- I didn't have an appt So i was thankful I was able to just walk in without a problem. As another reviewer has mentions: Some of the ladies who work there do not have as thick of accents so it was nice to be able to have conversations with them and not fearing that they were talking "smack" (as other reviewer said) in their language to each other. That was nice. I didn't get a pedicure, but the spa chairs did look nice. Thats about it for positives though. I thought the salon needed a major makeover though. -its white walls with tacky mirrors or little things hanging here and there looked trashy. -The tables where I sat to get my nails done had like half a wall on the side of my chair which made it impossible for my legs to fit under the desk which meant i lad to sit far away from the table but leaning forward the whole time so he could reach my nails which reallllllly made my back hurt. -the chair was also on wheels, which while i can see the benefit, but because of the position i was in, i rolled around a lot causing my hands to slip away from the mans hands. Speaking of him, I do not know if this man just can't speak any english or what. but basically I walked in a woman told me to sit where he was so i did. and he never said a word. just started filling in my nails. And i said fill right? So with a fill I currently have the acrylics on from the last time I got them done. You would think that he could tell how i liked them by looking at the ones I had. Or would at least take the time to ask me how long i wanted, or what shape but none of the above. He just started going. And yeah, I could have spoke up and told him i wanted them shorter but i just kept thinking maybe he did a different order or something and would get to that part later. I don't paint nails so i don't know! He did a pretty terrible job though. The acrylic went all the way back to my cuticle which really hurt as things started growing, they were so thick because he didn't sand them down nearly as much as i like, nor did he sand down under the tip which i also like causing them to just look messy. They were way longer then i like as I work with my hands constantly, and they were in shape almost daggers! they were so sharp i would scratch anyone i ever got my hands remotely close to! Then as soon as he was done putting the nails on, he pointed to the sink for me to wash so i did and when i turned back around he was gone. So i sat down and looked around confused. When finally a girl got up from the customer she was currently working with to quickly and i mean quickly paint my nails. she flew through it. and while for the speed they looked good, i was impressed, but just didn't care for the fast service like i didn't deserve it, but also she had to leave her other customer, it was just weird. She also didn't talk though. Once she was finished she just turned the fan on next to me and also just got up and left. So thats that. They didn't have a very good, or large selection of nail polishes to choose from, that was disappointing. I am only allowed to wear very light shades at work and I chose a light blue and while it was pretty it was still too dark. And the polish came off wayy sooner than it does when i get them done other places. first they started turning Yellow, probably from the top coat they use. Then just started chipping off left and right! So i had to pay more money a week later to get a polish change at some place in the mall!! So ugly I was so sad! and spent $23 dollars on a fill when the place i usually go charges $15 for a fill! Will not be going there again. Ever! read more
