I had two people for my service and I was finished in a timely manner. They were both really gentle. I went in and got extremely short acrylic set and a normal "30$" pedicure. My total was 95.00.... Prices on the board reflect the acrylic set to be 38$. It's a nice set, but 95 before tip is a rip off. I will stick with my Irving mall nail salon. *I will be going back in tomorrow to hopefully resolve the issue. read more

I showed Nancy a picture of how I wanted my manicure to be and she stated that it could be done! Nancy lied to me and told me that the nails I showed her would be done for me when in reality, they didn't know how to do the nails I wanted! And they were simple nails by the way meaning : NO DESIGNS, NOT LONG AND NOT EXTRAVAGANT! Nancy, why did you just tell me that the nails I wanted couldn't be done?? MONEY HUNGRY EVIL PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT GET ANYWHERE BECAUSE I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE! I'm so grateful that I comprehend English because the owner ( Asian man with oval glasses and slim in stature ) tried to run game on me! He lied and said that I was sleeping when the nail tech was doing my nails , he lied and said that I told the nail tech to do my nails like this and on top of everything, he was yelling at me, being aggressive towards me and basically stating that it was my fault that I ended up with the nails because I didn't say anything to the nail tech which is a lie! He also said that he heard me agree with the nail tech about liking my nails which is a lie! Before the nail tech commenced doing my nail, she first brought one acrylic powder which looked too pink and glittery and I told her that it looked too pink then she brought another acrylic powder which I agreed on her using because when she swatched it on a paper towel, it looked similar to what I wanted and from then on everything just went LEFT! I kept questioning her every single second while she did my nails and she kept reassuring me that everything was going to be fine and to give her time to finish so that I could see the finished product! Yes, I am reviewing a nail salon. Anyone have a problem with that? Ok, now that we've cleared that up more about Lovely Nails. I've visited a few times for a basic mani/pedi and Lovely Nails has become my go to place for a routine 6-7 week mani/pedi. Why? First they understanding the meaning of superior service. I usually schedule an appointment and upon arriving I've never had to wait. I walk in the door and go directly to the chair. On the occasions that I've walked in without an appointment, they are honest and upfront with me and let me know how long the wait will be and they meet that time.. I appreciate this as I've been places who tell me the wait is 15 minutes and 30 minutes later I'm still waiting. Next they do superb work. The water is temperature is always just right (anyway for me). I've never been cut (thank you). The techs are friendly and respect that sometime I just don't feel like talking during my mani/pedi. Actually, I prefer sit in the chair, uninterrupted and have a little quiet time (on my last visit I actually fell asleep in the chair). Lastly the price is right!!! They have Tuesday special: basic mani/pedi for $25. Yesssir!!! Keep up the superb work Lovely Nails! read more

I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. I have received many mani pedis all over the place and this is by far the WORST to have experienced. I woke up in literal pain from her "getting my ingrown toenail" (WHICH NO OTHER SALON HAS EVER DONE SO) and i can't even wear my heels today. The "dip" is a shit job and super thick looking and the sides of each of my fingers hurt from them cutting my skin away (not a normal/ professional manicure) i told them they were hurting me multiple times and they didn't care. I went to this place about a week ago, service was amazing until I notice my toe getting so swollen to the point I couldn't walk and I take my sock my toe was green. Went to care now and it was obviously infected. I will not be going back to this place don't recommend it to anyone. This Unsanitary establishment then tried to convince me that I dropped something in my foot and they didn't do it , but my doctor clearly wouldn't give antibiotics for a bruised toe nor would they have to cut it open to DRAIN AN INFECTION!!!! read more

Tien did my nails and she didnt even let me pick my color out before putting me in the chair for a pedicure. She didnt give me a massage either. I was like wth? My nails are cute but if I would have known it would have been half assed I would have just gotten a color change on both my nails and my feet. I paid $45.00 for a gel manicure and pedicure - wont be back. Should have dealt with the wait time at Zen - at least they give you what you pay for even if it is a little more. I loved this place!! I visited last night and the entire visit was pleasant and I left relaxed and happy. It is small... five pedicure chairs and three nail desks but this is not a detriment... make an appointment and things run fine. It is not a fancy salon, no extras like so many are doing now (seriously, if I want an alcoholic drink, I will go to the bar)... however, it is very clean and comfortable. Vuong did my pedi and he took such care and was so gentle that I almost fell asleep. Well, that is one reason, the other is that it is a quiet salon.. no blaring music (soft instrumentals only), no loud tv, no screeching voices yabbering back and forth... it was lovely! Tien did my nails.. gel powder.. and did an awesome job. I am extremely picky about the thickness and she did a perfect job. I love them! I've already recommended to a couple of women at work and I have a couple of friends I will be convincing to give a try. Loved it! read more

I was excited to get my nails done here after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures. I went to the salon on August 6, 2021 and I waited about 20 minutes before they were able to get someone to do my acrylic full set (this isn't a bad wait for no appointment). I paid $57 for my manicure ( very short french-tip ombre) before the tip, which I would normally pay for a good manicure. Unfortunately, the nail tech (I want to say her name started with a T based on her cosmetology license on the wall by her station) rushed through my manicure and what normally takes a good 45 min - 1hr took 30 minutes, max. There was a lot of leftover acrylic never buffed from the underside of my nails, the nails were all different shapes, and the worst part is they all came off in less than a week. My normal sets last me 3 weeks before they start coming off. Needless to say, I was not impressed with the work or the quality of the manicure AT ALL and I hope that no one else has to experience this! read more

I was going to let this slide but its not fair nor right!! FULL SET/OVERLAY- I went here last week and now 3 nails want to come off. Thats because they were stingy with acrylic and acted stingy with the nail glue. My nails were loose & about to pop off during vacation..embarrassing! I & the tech decided to just add acrylic to just 6 of my nails because they were nice and long but the other 4 needed falsies. Why was I charged for a full set? I haven't ever went for a overlay or anything similar to this and be charged for a full set but okay fine..But now I have to get a refill after 1 week? WOW I didnt know if you add 2 colors ex: yellow nails and clear glitter on top, thats a design? Yes i was charged for designs and didnt know til checkout! Also unprofessional to keep shaking a bottle. If the polish is done remove it from shelve. If polish is thick, use some polish thinner instead of applying gunk to someones nails,took long to dry. PEDICURE- was okay, but i prefer a tech to massage both feet for atleast the same amount of time. ex: dont spend 1 minute on one foot and 17 second on the other..(thats uneven lol) My tech was very lazy, instead of buffing each nail she just ran it across my feet,barely touching nails. My skin was more buffed than my nails. And pay close attention of prices on window and service list. Confusing and you could be quoted a different price, so ask before getting any service here. NOWAY AM I GOING BACK! Its hard/dangerous to do anything when your nails are popping off!! The amount I paid with the service i received, i feel highly ripped off!! read more

Wonderful nail salon!! Definitely go for the spa pedi... o m g it is so relaxing. Heavenly treat, and an incredibly affordable price - $25 for a mani pedi on Mon-Wed is insanely cheap! I can't imagine they can keep that price forever, get it while it's on special! The staff is super nice and professional, and they do beautiful work. Great staff, really reasonable prices. I've been in several times so I've had a few different people do my nails but they're always pretty consistent, unlike other places where you can't trust more than person to do a nice job. They take time to make sure my nails are the right length, not too thick, and the lines are straight. One thing I really love about them is that they're not as gossipy and judgemental as some nail salons are. I like a clean, classic look so I always get the same thing-- acrylics with white tips painted on with gel. Many of the salons I've been to in the past will try to upsell me on designs or other styles by telling me I'm so boring and that no one young does white tips anymore. Not at Lovely Nails. They accept me for my boring French-tipped self. They do usually ask if I want a pedi, but I've never had to say "no thanks" more than once. read more

Got an infection on my toe here from a bad pedicure because the tech cut deep into the sides of my big toe while screeching at me asking me why I had cut them myself after I had told her this was my first professional pedicure. I'd never had an issue with ingrown toe nails before this and I do now. I had a super expensive doctors visit and had to have a shot of the strongest antibiotics possible to cure the staff infection. My toe nails haven't recovered since and when I went back and tried to get the salon to cover my medical bill they refused to give me the insurance info (I don't think they have any) so I filed a complaint with the state. Save your self the hassle and the possible ailment and DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

Nancy spent a lot of time fixing what the other salon had messed up. She was friendly and gave lots of suggestions for what would work best for me. Walked in and was served quickly. Service was impersonal but that suits me (would rather read than make small talk). The pedicure part of the deluxe pedicure was good but the "deluxe' part was a joke. No pressure with the massage and the "hot stone" consisted of rubbing one smooth stone on my feet for about a minute. read more

This is the WORST place i have ever gone to, it is ridiculously over priced. My "pedicure" only consisted of changing my nail color and slightly cleaning my cuticles. She said to remove callous it was $10 more.. then for just a fill it was $25, after i asked the girl and she said it was $15, the guy from the back came and said no that it was $25, and it wasnt even done right. I have been here dozens of times and have always had great service. The pedicures are heavenly and the massage chairs work well. I have never had any kind of issues and they do a great job of trimming my ingrown toenails so I won't have a problem with them. Prices are fair and they spend a lot of time on you. I drove by one day and saw on the window that a fill was 11.99. Of course when I came in several weeks later, the price went up to  $16. I came in on my hour lunch break and the guy took forever. I ended up being late back to work. A fill should only take 30-40 minutes not over an hour. When I went to pay, he said it was  $27. Of course I looked at him upset and confused. He said they charge extra for coffin shape. I asked why didn't he tell me that before he started on my nails???!!! He waited until he was finished to tell me. He pointed to a sign with small lettering at the front corner of the store. I told him how the hell am I supposed to read those small a** letters! What kind of customer service is this???!!! Okay! I did like this place. The first time they did my nails they were nice. The second time the lady Tran did my nails great. The third time Tran let one of her regular customers go in front of me so I just left. The fourth time took the cake! I went in for a fill in of regular nails short with toe polish and she tried to charge me $38!? Tran was throwing random numbers so fast she was getting confused herself and frustrated. I would've paid more for a fill and toe polish than my last full set.After she took my nail polish off I asked her how much that was. She said 5. I paid the $5 and got up to wait on my best friend. Then the lady started getting smart. Asking me you didn't bring enough money and you can just get your nails done and not you toe nails. I never once got smart with her because I refuse to allow someone to bring me out of place. I politely told her after she said you knew you were coming to get your nails done why didn't you bring enough money. I just politely told her ma'am I'm not going to argue with you.
