I was in need of a mani pedi for my nephew's wedding. I went to one place that said they could not take me. A friend recommended this place, and her nails are always on point! I have never had a "dip" manicure before but it sure was quick and easy. Hu (I think her name was) worked on my nails and a gentleman worked on my toes. Acrylic was on my skin and I got cut plenty of times I loved the nails but the application was not it I had to go back and tell the guy to do a soak off and give me a refund because this was painful and then he wanted to drill my natural nail to remove the extra acrylic. I'd like to give this place 5 stars for the great pedicure I received from Lucy. However, my shellac manicure was really disappointing. This was my first time with shellac and I told the techs that it was really important to me that my nails look nice as I just got engaged last night and am going to be showing my ring to all my friends and family when we get back to NY in a few days. That's why I chose the shellac, because its supposed to last 2 weeks or so. When my fingernails were wet, they looked great. However, I had lumps and bumps and bubbles in the shellac when it dried. I showed this to Ann, the tech who did the manicure and she fixed some of the bumps by filing over the shellac and applying more topcoat. However, there are still bumps on my ring finger and most of my nails have no shine at all from the topcoat while a few are shiny. I could not tell that most of the nails were dull when I left the salon because Ann had rubbed oil all over my cuticles and nails and they looked slick and shiny. An hour and one hand washing later and half my nails are dull and I don't know how to fix them. So for a $53 mani/pedi plus $10 tip, I feel ripped off and upset on what should be the happiest vacation of my life. :( read more

i've been a customer for over a year now, i didn't have problems until recently. i get acrylic on my two big toes and they break 3-7 days after i get them done. i came back this afternoon to get it fixed (3rd visit in ONE WEEK) the woman who works at the front right table tells me "you dance that's why it breaks come back later." first off, it doesn't matter what i do because this has barely became an issue after over a year. when i tell her this has been barely happening recently (my last two toe sets) she interrupted me saying "okay come back later) it was so rude and by her tone she was not sorry. i have given them hundreds of dollars over the year and a half i've been going. the way i was spoken to was so wrong and disrespectful. read more

Wow, Initially I got a new set of acrylic nails from this shop eleven days ago and by day ten they were all lifting, and I have not done anything to damage them. So I went in to get them fixed. There was no apology for the problem, only the comment that "I should do dip nails." (My dermatologist asked me to not do them because of the acetone soaks each visit, so I have to do acrylics.) When the technician started working, he decided that the nails had to be removed completely. They could not be filled. SECONDLY, I'm unhappy because he actually charged me for the mess-up and charged me for a full set. $35.00...guess they're rude to people they don't know well. read more

At first was kinda of hesitant about the pedi I received. I asked for the gel spa pedi. I think the girl forgot what I asked for bc until she saw her coworker doing the things she should've done originally. Needless to say had she not remembered my review would've been a 3 or so. At first her massage was equivalent to me just putting lotion on. No real rubbing or massage. However, after my toes were painted she decided to bring out the hot towels and really massage the legs and feet. Now that foot massage was WAAAYYYYYYY better. In fact my foot had been killing me (I'm on my feet like 10-12 hours a day) so that's why I really wanted a gooood pedi. She really got into the muscles and massaged deep. I'll definitely try it again just to see if it's the same service or better. No one offered water or anything. Not sure if they serve alcohol/wine. The quality of nails at this place is horrendous. They are not friendly, especially the lady that sits in the front on the right by the wall of nail polish. I came in for ombre nails and they tried to argue with me saying I had to have my nails really long for the style, which is not true. I'm 7 months pregnant and moving into my new home this weekend and didnt want super long nails. The guy that sits in front on the left did a horrible job on the ombre. He didn't blend the two colors well, therefore the ombre appearance doesn't look right. He also put too much powder on the bed on my nails and now they're super bulky, even after he filed and grinded them. My nail bed looks really wide and it looks terrible. I wish I could upload a picture on the Google review. Got my eyebrows waxed as well and she didn't do what I asked and left a lot of hair that I had to pluck myself when I left. read more

I've been to Coppell Nails several times because of the prices on Monday/Tuesday, but I am always disappointed with the customer service. I really want to be a regular there but I never get greeted like they do some regulars. They always start off kind of nice, but after they finish my nails they totally ignore me and I am left to decide whether I'm dry or not and leaving myself without help putting on my shoes or anything. They just run to the register when they see me packing up so I don't forget to pay them. I noticed that the regulars they know well they treat like queens and don't let them touch anything and check on them several times after they finish and almost walk them out and open the door. I've never experienced that from them, so I'm on a mission to find better customer service. My nails always look decent though so they are my last resort. read more

I stopped in to Coppell Nails recently because I got off work early and thought I deserved a pedicure to get ready for summer. The salon was basically empty yet it took close to 15 minutes for someone to finally come to my pedicure area (my skin was so wrinkly from the water by this time). Throughout the experience the girl seemed crazy distracted on other things rather than my nails... she would randomly walk off for some reason and would just stroll back a couple minutes later. I just got a basic pedicure (not even a spa one) and it took close to an hour and 15 minutes because she was all over the place. Then when she was done she just left me there in the chair. No thank you. No let's go get your nails dry.. nothing! Honestly it was a terribly awkward experience and I doubt I'll be back. read more

I am so glad I checked out the reviews on this place, specifically about Na, who does a fantastic job on my nails. I never thought I would find someone who could do my nails like my former nail tech in Grand Prairie. I am very picky and I was driving all the way from Lewisville to GP to get my nails done every few weekends or so. It became too much of a pain, so I started to look into reviews of places close to me. Na is definitely the best at her work and I am so glad I found her! First time going to this salon on a weekday after work. Salon was not very busy, but I was barely greeted and then ushered into a pedicure chair. The foot bath was luke warm and the pedicurist acted as if she wanted nothing more than for quitting time to arrive. Leaving her be, I let her work, where she butchered my large toe cuticle and drew blood! Then dunked it in the luke warm bath. Thankfully I was already taking antibiotics for a sinus infection, otherwise I am sure it would have gotten infected. After mentioning it, she did not even apologize for the cut!! Maybe because I didn't make an appointment or I am not a familiar face, I was not feeling Coppell nails. I walked in on a Wednesday for a pedicure, pink and white fill and a eyebrow wax. However once I saw the price for the fill- --$30, I quickly changed my mind. At Allure Nails down the street you can get a fill for $22. My eyebrow wax was $10 which I felt was expensive as well, except the lady did a great job. The best wax I have received from a nail spa hands down, so I might return for that service alone. The pedicure was ok, the color selection was not great and the massage was not the best, it was $25. The salon itself is kind of old looking with a little work needing to be done as well. read more

I went to the salon on Saturday 1/21/2012. I was very disappointed. I went in for a pedi and mani to receive a foot bath. I thought the massage chairs were broken for them to come to me with a foot tub that I could have done on my own. No massage no bubbles. I went because my husband wanted me to go and relax I left frustrated and wanting to cry. Then they sat in front of me talking about me not knowing I had a translator on my phone. When I got up to wash my hands to guys swiped my card without telling me a cost moved my things for someone else to sit in the chair. I will never again go there. A waste of money read more
