My experience at Lovely Bride was nothing short of phenomenal! Their space was beautifully appointed and so much fun to be in, and everyone was more than accomodating and friendly. We worked with Kendall and she was extremely helpful and attentive but also gave us space when we were having personal/family moments. She was mindful of what I was looking for but also encouraged exploration and allowed me to try on styles that I would have otherwise skipped over, which was helpful to see 1. things that I wasn't expecting to like and 2. also confirm the style(s) that I did like. For Covid, they were extremely safe and we felt very comfortable with the precautions they took. They limited the number of wedding parties in the space at any given time and had us all in dedicated rooms, and were all distanced within the rooms. My visit to Lovely Bride was my first wedding dress shopping experience, and honestly I should have stopped after this visit. I went to two other bridal shops in the area and neither of them even came close to my experience at Lovely Bride. I worked with Julia who was simply amazing! I had a rough idea of what I was looking for, but also my extent of research consisted of pinning on pinterest and watching Say Yes to the Dress. But luckily Julia gave me a full education on dresses. We started in my own private room, which was such a nice touch, not having to walk through a store wearing a gown to show my mom and sister. We chatted about my wedding day, my vision, and overall what I wanted. Then she took me to the racks of dresses and explained the differences in them, and got my opinion of each style, what I liked, what I didn't like, and was very straightforward about price range, and stayed as close to my budget as possible, not showing me anything too beyond what I was willing to spend. I tried on about 6 dresses, but the 3rd one was it! However, we wanted to do our due diligence and she did not rush me or my party to make a decision. With each dress, she took her time to clip me in, explain the dress again, and let me take a private moment to soak it in and reflect on what I liked, what I didn't like, and how the dress made me feel. The dress I fell in love with, was a little out of my price range, and I still wanted to honor my 2 additional appointments that I had made at other bridal shops. Julia was NO PRESSURE! She took my measurements, just in case, and gave me all of her information if I decided to go with Lovely Bride. I wish that I could give more than 5 stars for my amazing experience at Lovely. It was that amazing. I took my mother, my fiance's mother, and my two sisters for what I expected would be a long, stressful day of wedding dress shopping. Lovely was my first stop and the first time that I ever tried on wedding dresses. Shelby was my consultant and I could not have been more lucky to have been paired with her. She was PERFECT! I had actually reached out to Lovely about a month and a half before my appointment about specific gown styles. They didn't have them in the shop, but were able to lend them in from the designer at my request. I was so impressed with that before even arriving. Once I got there, Shelby asked me a few questions about my wedding, my style, and what I was (and wasn't!) looking for. She asked me my budget and that was the only time the price conversation even came up which is EXACTLY what I wanted. I didn't need to know each time I put on or off a dress what the price was. After I told Shelby a bit, she took me to look at a few dresses and got a sense of what I might like. She came in with a few dresses. The first one was nice, but not THE dress. She was really great at figuring out what I did and didn't like about each dress and what my personality and wedding personality was like. I wasn't settled on a silhouette but I was between ballgown and more fitted. I tried both on and neither were really ME. She managed to take the things I liked about each dress and found THE one. I would not have picked it out myself, and before I put it on, I wasn't sold. But as soon as I put it on, it was magic. I tried on a few more dresses after that, fun, clean, sparkly, but that dress was just in everyone's mind. I put it on again, and then we went out to the front room, put on a long cathedral veil and headpiece...and it was just IT. Shelby was amazing! She was always there when we needed her, but left us alone to think and talk as well. She wasn't super pushy but made sure I got exactly what I wanted. My appointment never felt rushed or anything like that. It was amazing. I ordered my dress that day and now and excitedly waiting for it to come in! The experience I had yesterday was the best experience I ever had. I had the manager working with me and she knew allll her shit. Like she was on her knees holding the bustle for the dress. Then she would go under the dress to adjust and make it look just right. Every dress I tried on I got a million compliments and even the other stylist would come in and say omg your toosh looks amazing in this dress and is there a dress you don't look good in?! It was so fun and I NEVER had that experience before. I've tried on probably around 50 dresses total already. The stylist knew my vision and actually showed me dresses that matched it. Like I was totally blown away so much so that I cried! I felt comfortable, welcomed, heard, and beautiful! I traveled from Syracuse to come specifically to this shop because they carried Hailey Paige, Pronovias & Watters gowns when shops in Syracuse didn't. At this point, I have been to 9 bridal shops (1 in Denver, 1 in Syracuse, 1 in Vestal, 1 in Los Gatos, 1 in Sunnyvale, and the remainder in San Jose). I am definitely a picky to-be bride! The dresses here were in great condition and were of great quality. I worked with Jasmine who was super cool and easy to talk to. She kept the gowns she pulled inside my budget (something some stores don't always do). She helped me with my fitting and understood exactly what type of gowns I wanted. The best part about this place is the ambience. The store's located in a converted home and is super charming. There are vintage and modern touches that make this place super Pinterest-worthy, on-trend, and cute. I loved the living room area with the neon lights, velour ottoman/coffee table and wood floors. The wallpaper was really cool and the lighting was really nice in the living room. The lighting wasn't so great in the backrooms and the pedestal they have for you to stand on is rather short/small but I did like how the changing room doubled as the "stage"/mirror space (when others usually have it separate). Could not recommend Lovely Bride more! The dresses are absolutely gorgeous and very modern. Even though there were several dresses I could see myself in, Julia helped make my decision SO easy, was amazing at figuring out my style from the get-go, and recommended some incredible options! We went during COVID era, so masks were required, but the entire boutique was clean and hygienic. I think the best part of the entire experience was that it was so low pressure - Julia gave a ton of tips as far as what to look for and think about when trying on each dress, then gave us ample amounts of time (in private) to get a feel for the dress and chat about the pros/cons.
