Amy and Maddison are wonderful humans and did a great job finding the perfect dress for my daughter.

I am what I think of as a'non-traditional' bride (43, never been married) and the idea of planning…read morea wedding and choosing a dress/venue/accessories gives me a huge amount of anxiety. I grudgingly went with my mother and aunt to Heart to Heart with no appointment and no real clear vision of what I wanted. We got there just as Emily was finishing up with a scheduled bride and even though she was waiting for her lunch delivery she abandoned her break and spent at least 2 hours patting my hand, calming my anxieties and reassuring me that there was a dress out there for me somewhere. I must have tried on a dozen dresses and left feeling strong affinity for 2. I live out of town and have been looking online for other options I might like. I found something I was wild about but no one within a 2 hour radius could get it for me to try on. I emailed H2H and got a response in hours saying they could get it. I will definitely be back to try it on. I highly recommend these folks. They are great at what they do.

My daughter attempted to book her very first bridal appointment with Heart to Heart's sister store,…read moreTwo Hearts Bridal, and made it clear from the beginning that she was not prepared to purchase a dress that day. This appointment was simply meant to be her first bridal shopping experience. Instead of being welcomed and guided through that milestone moment, she was essentially told by the owner, Sarah, that if she was not prepared to buy during that appointment, this should not be her first stop. Despite that disappointing start, my daughter ultimately found her dress at Heart to Heart SOLELY because of Amy and Madison. They treated her with kindness, compassion, patience, and professionalism throughout the process, and they deserve recognition for the way they handled her experience. What happened afterward, however, was completely unacceptable. My daughter originally posted anonymously on Facebook asking if her first bridal appointment experience was normal. She did not publicly discuss finances and did not disclose private details about her budget or personal situation. Sarah chose to publicly identify my daughter by name in the comments and also called out other anonymous commenters by name as well. She then proceeded to publicly discuss details about my daughter that were inaccurate and should have remained completely private and confidential. I understand that reviews and criticism come with the job. Not every customer interaction will be perfect. What matters is how concerns are handled afterward. Unfortunately, instead of responding professionally and privately, Sarah chose to respond publicly, defensively, and in a way that lacked professionalism and discretion. What is even more disappointing is that both my daughter and I gave multiple opportunities to resolve this privately by phone. Sarah has still never contacted me personally. Instead, another manager returned my call and explained that Sarah "does not contact customers." At this point, Sarah has also blocked my original review rather than addressing the concerns raised in it. Blocking criticism instead of taking accountability only reinforces the issue. Constructive criticism does not require defensiveness or public retaliation. Sometimes the appropriate response is accountability, professionalism, and a willingness to have an honest offline conversation before publicly discussing a customer's personal business inaccurately. Again, Amy and Madison were wonderful and are the sole reason my daughter walked away with any positive feelings from this experience. Their professionalism stood in stark contrast to the way this situation was handled afterward.
