On 12/17 I went to Joeval's for wedding dress shopping. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Michelle for her service. Before arriving at Joeval's my first appointment was with David's Bridal, and it went terribly - so the energy coming into this second appointment was very tense. Michelle greeted us warmly and immediately took us over to the dressing room area, where she had chairs set up for my entire family. She immediately took interest in my story, and wanted to hear all about how my fiancé and I met. She got me talking about how excited I was for the wedding, and in almost no time at all everybody was laughing and having fun. Michelle took some time to explain to us how the appointment will work, and was extremely transparent with us about the selection of dresses. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us focus our vision. She directed us to the rooms where we could start looking through dresses, and my family and I had an extremely enjoyable time browsing options to try. After selecting the dresses we wanted, we transitioned back over to the dressing room area. Michelle made me feel extremely comfortable with the entire process, and helped me fasten each dress before showing my family- this allowed all of us to clearly envision myself in each dress, while also outlining areas for possible alterations (which Michelle was extremely helpful with suggesting options for!) In addition, for dress shopping my fiancee made me a fun playlist, which I was unsure we would be able to use; however, when my Matron of Honor told Michelle we had some music, Michelle immediately turned off the store music, and allowed us to play our playlist instead. This was an incredibly kind gesture, which allowed me to feel like my fiancé was a part of the day, even though he could not be physically present. Once we found "the dress" Michelle asked me if I wanted to try it with a veil, to which I informed her that I am more partial to tiara's. Without hesitation, Michelle immediately went into the back and selected three different options for me to try based on what she thought would match with the dress. Michelle absolutely nailed it, and selected a crown that made my whole family get emotional when I put it on and completed the look. When all was said and done, we ended up purchasing the dress of my dreams and the perfect tiara (which I was not anticipating buying the same day), all within the budget. When we were leaving the appointment we checked the time and realized that we had been in the shop for an additional 2 hours over our appointment time; however, Michelle never rushed us, or even asked for us to be mindful of the time. Michelle - I cannot thank you enough for your kindness, your professionalism, your wealth of knowledge, your patience, and your attentiveness. It is not enough to say that you went "above and beyond" when you truly provided the most magical wedding dress shopping experience for myself and my whole family. I have to give a shout out to Jordyn! I fell in love with a dress back in October, I ended up buying it. Two months later and watching to much Say Yes to the Dress. I was starting to doubt my decision. I picked something that I never imagined I would wear. I emailed Jordyn about my dilemma. We had a fabulous bridal fitting with Courtney!!! We called at the last minute hoping for an opening, and Joeval's fit us in and welcomed us with open arms.
