Last year, I ordered online one week in advance, and the flowers were delivered by late morning on Valentine's Day. This year, I ordered again online, but this time the night before Valentine's Day. Well, the flowers were so late getting delivered that the recipient had already left work and gone home (I wanted them delivered to her work location during the day). The deliveryperson ended up driving the flowers to the recipient's studio around 5:15pm or so. Not what I wanted. Part of the joy of receiving flowers is having a 'pleasant surprise' while also generating a topic of conversation with classmates/colleagues/coworkers. Receiving the flowers after the day is gone really diminishes the romantic surprise. I wish Ithaca Flower Shop would post a delivery schedule, or warn customers that orders after a certain time would arrive late in the day. Super bummed!

Glad they did because they were at the wrong apartment number. The arrangement was a "fragile" one as the kind delivery man explained and the piece was in great condition for traveling in a car. Wonderful color. It looked like a ton of purple orchids but I'm not really sure that's the accurate naming. Anyway, we would recommend Ithaca Flower Shop if you're in the market for having flowers delivered to anyone. What a great gift to receive! Especially after long move.

There's an anecdotal half-joke among us QPoC that a white person with colorful hair typically means "safe" staff for BIPOC/queer folks, but that was not the vibe I got here, sadly. It's too bad that Asian customers are treated this way at an establishment that sells so much Asian-inspired merchandise (kawaii goods, food items). I won't likely be back, even though it is a cute, very modern boutique. I will just head down to Michaleen's Florist & Greenhouse down the road and the farmer's market instead for plants, soaps, gifts. I feel more welcome in those spaces, even if they're predominantly white.

David was so gracious and easy to work with; I came to him with such a late request for these centerpieces and bouquets and he made it happen in just a couple of months' time. The team at Willow Floral used such high-quality plants, my sunflower and greenery centerpieces lasted almost 3 full weeks after the wedding.
