Just stayed in the house for racing weekend. When we arrived there was a thick layer of grease in the kitchen sink. Dishwasher full of dishes. Weren't sure if they were clean or not. Carpets were filthy. There was food from previous tenants in the fridge. It was tidy and cute, but not very clean. The shower light had a short that caused it to come on and off randomly. Plusses were: Air conditioners in every room that worked, and plenty of hot water. 1 bath upstairs served 4 bedrooms. Keurig machine worked once. Talked to owner about replacement and were told he would take care of it next day. He came and got it, but didn't replace it. read more

WOW doesn't even begin to describe how gorgeous this place is!! Gratitude and Grace was the perfect place for a wedding in every way. My son got married here on 8/24/24. I was astounded by the beautiful grounds! Ron was THE best host anyone could ever ask for. His attention to detail was above and beyond. Anything you needed, he was there for us from the booking until the end. He is absolutely a one-of-a-kind, amazing host!! Bride and bridesmaids stayed at the stunning Victorian house the night before the wedding. It was pristine, clean and such a treat to be able to have the house on the property, which added to the experience. There is even a gorgeous pool with seating all around and a hot tub! It does not get any better than that! And ladies, the bridal suite is amazing! I would say without hesitation, this is the most beautiful wedding I've ever attended. The ceremony was outside under the arch, dancing was in the immaculate barn complete with lights and chandelier on the second floor. Food was served under tents on the lawn, which was perfect. What I loved was that there were so many places you could go on the property, should you want some privacy - the barn, the house, seating by the pool and other seating around the property. I will forever have etched in my heart how wonderful this place is! Everyone that attended thought the place was spectacular and the Bride & Groom are over the moon with cherished memories of their special day! My wedding was such a magical experience and a lot of that has to do with the personalized service and support I received from the staff at G&G. As an out of town bride and a Covid bride, Ron was flexible and understanding. He sent us vendors that not even my wedding planner offered to help us cut down on cost when he heard how much we were paying for things. He was resourceful when we needed a home for our groomsmen, sending us websites and making calls on our behalf. We got more than a venue when we decided to book with G&G. He made sure all of our house guests could transition in when we were out running around and even offered to watch our dog while we had wedding business to care for. When the power went out he came over to ensure we felt comfortable, as Chicago people we were not use to the country ways and he never made us feel uncomfortable. He was so welcoming of all races and personalities, that my wedding guest couldn't stop talking about how "Cool" he was. Leading up to my wedding his team would send me pictures of new pieces of furniture and even offered to allow me to use leftover items from previous weddings to again help cut down our cost.  His flexibility was shown when he allowed us to come a day early to set up and stay a bit later to ensure we could pack up. The house itself fit everyone of our house guests and they loved the layout. AWESOME! Everything here was so perfect from the property to the victorian house to the Barn! The owner Ron Riddle is amazing and made sure through out the whole time we were there from Friday for set up to Saturday the wedding day that we had everything that we needed and was always checking in to make sure we were good. Our perfect wedding venue. We loved everything about G & G from the rustic barn, to the ceremony space with huge open skies, to the gorgeous farm house. Ron is WONDERFUL. Very easy to work with and communicate with, and he'll put you right at ease. He's always making improvements to the grounds too - the landscaping is stunning. We had a salsa band come play in the space and it was SO MUCH FUN. Perfect for a medium size wedding (we had about 125 guests). Plenty of magical nooks for folks to wander off to, plus beautiful scenery. We love DIY so we had a crew of our friends & family to help decorate the barn, and we ordered and arranged our own flowers. Plenty of sparkle lights are up already, so there's a good vibe to start with. read more

As soon as we visited Gratitude & Grace in Ithaca, NY, we knew we found our wedding venue. Ron and his property made a lasting impression on us. The whole G&G property is filled with natural beauty. Ron and Dani were very helpful and responsive throughout our planning and re-planning process. We originally were supposed to get married in Sept 2020 but due to the pandemic, we postponed to July 2021. Fortunately we were able to keep all our vendors the same! We hired Ron's band - The Riddler's - and so thankful we did. Every song was a hit and kept our guests dancing in the barn until late night! All our friends and family keep referring to our wedding as the "concert wedding" so you know they were good. It rained on our wedding day so we got married in the barn but it was so romantic and intimate being surrounded by our loved ones on both levels of the barn. I can't say enough positive things about this venue, Ron, The Riddler's and our entire wedding weekend. Everything was so FUN, enjoyable, stress-free and beautiful. My friend selected Grace and Gratitude as her ideal wedding destination. Last weekend we celebrated her marriage and this was the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever been to. I have been to a lot of weddings over the years, but this one topped them all. This venue made for the most perfect photo opportunities with stunning backdrops for both a ceremony and reception. The whole bridal party stayed in the white farmhouse located on the property. The house was huge and full of many bedrooms. Staying here made it convenient for getting to the rehearsal and wedding. The neat part about this venue is you can make your wedding as personalized as you would like. The venue is basically set up as a Do It Yourself wedding. The happy couple said their vows outside under an arch full of flowers with farmlands and hills in the distance. Incredibly gorgeous! Dinner and dancing all took place in the neatest barn. Dinner was served upstairs in a square formation with great natural lighting and an awesome chandelier in the center. Downstairs the dance floor fit us all, and dancing we did all night! There were gardens to take photos in and wander around. I keep thinking about this wedding and what a memorable venue it was. read more

My husband and I were married at Gratitude & Grace in July of 2014. We loved every part of the experience - from booking, to prep, to using the house. Literally one of hte best "vacation" experiences I've ever had, and one of the smoothest wedding venues I've ever worked with. Ron, the owner of Gratitude & Grace, is amazing. Warm. Professional. Quick to respond. Immensely helpful while we stayed at G&G, but wasn't in our hair. He didn't nag, poke around, or snoop - in fact, he was just the opposite! Genuinely helpful. Genuinely interested in creating a beautiful space. We respected his space, and he respected us. Easy! Decorating the barn and property was a cinch - Ron has amazing lighting set up, lots of supplies on site (i.e. a ladder, hammer), and it was easy to make an already beautiful property "our own" with a few hours of work. All of the vendors we worked with for the wedding in the Finger Lakes knew G&G and Ron, and we had to do very little in the way of logistical coordination. The house is incredible. Nice mattresses. Everything was clean. Everything we needed was there. Showers were hot. Surroundings luxurious. All 14 of us had a cozy, comfortable place to stay. If you are looking for a place to say I do to the love of your life. please don't look further ! It was the most perfect day of my life! The venue offers everything you will need plus more! We stayed from a Tuesday to a Sunday and had our wedding on Saturday ! We basically did a DIY wedding and Ron offers the perfect space to allow creativity and originality to create the wedding of your dreams! He was so amazing to work with and always got back to us with any questions leading up to the day! The house has everything you need, just bring your family and friends and its the perfect home to relax and enjoy your favorite people before your big day! THE STARS AT NIGHT ARE AMAZING HERE!!! the barn has the perfect amount of space that you would need and the outside space has a beautiful garden and seating everywhere!!! Seriously look no further ! Ron's helper Jack was there every day while we were there maintaining everything! He even took the bags off the roof of my car and brought them inside. MAGICAL...the only way to describe Gratitude and Grace!!! We knew from the moment we stepped onto the property that there was something truly special about it. Between the house, the barn and all of the outdoor space, it was an amazing setting for the backyard/barn wedding we were looking for. Being able to stay on the property was an added bonus, especially since we were able to enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi (when we had the time!). Every room in the house had it's own unique décor and comfortably accommodated our wedding party. The barn is rustic, yet elegant...and has an epic dance floor! The landscaping on the property and the surrounding fields are breathtaking and made for beautiful wedding photos. Since we were having around 200 people attending our wedding we decided to put a tent out the back of the barn for the tables/chairs and it worked out wonderfully! Our guests were able to enjoy the sunset as we were eating dinner and there was plenty of room to dance inside. Ron, the owner, is awesome!! We truly enjoyed his company and found he was there to help with anything and everything needed throughout the entire weekend. Ron, the proprietor of the venue, is one of the nicest guys you could ever come across. He legitimately just wants to make your day as special as it can possibly be and goes above and beyond. Dealing with Ron is such a pleasant and easy experience that it almost makes up for some of the other vendors you'll inevitably deal with. Gratitude & Grace was very much a DIY venue, so the owner, Ron, was not too heavily involved with the set up or vendor coordination (which was totally fine!) The important thing was that he was available to answer all of my questions (and I had many), and available on site to walk us through the property and the "how to's". He was very responsive via text and phone call the weekend we were there for the wedding, and would often come out of his cabin on the property to just check on us and see how we were doing with the set up. Ron had such an easy going and friendly nature - he also allowed us to decorate pretty much however we wanted (within reason of course) in the barn, which was wonderful. Gratitude and Grace also has a great location - it was close to the room blocks (Hampton Inn and Inn on Columbia), close to downtown Ithaca, close to our welcome party venue, etc. We were also able to party as late as we wanted to - some wedding venues have time limits. This venue was also ideal for our wedding party size - 53 guests total. There was the perfect amount of space for dinner seating upstairs, and then dancing and cocktail tables downstairs. No one felt too cramped or too spaced out in the barn, and the grounds were perfect for outdoor lounging. Everything worked out seamlessly, especially since nearly all the vendors we brought in have worked at the venue for other weddings - they were all already familiar with the property so that made things easy. The lodging at the house was also very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Ron takes really great care of the property, and it definitely shows - the entire space made for the most beautiful photos and experience! Our son was married at Gratitude & Grace last weekend and it was a magical venue! Ron and the G&G staff are fantastic. It was a Hindu-American wedding and lasted 3 glorious days. The spacious and beautiful house was perfect for housing the wedding party and a convenient spot for the hair and makeup artists to beautify the already beautiful wedding women. The grounds and event barn are spectacular. Well-maintained and visually breath-taking. The grounds accommodated a large tent without it appearing to overwhelm the gardens. The outdoor areas on both sides of the barn were utilized for various events. Cocktails and appetizers on one side and dining on the other side and dancing in the barn. Ron and his facility manager, Rob, were incredibly accommodating. This is a great venue to create your own event as you can bring in whichever vendors you prefer. We got married at Gratitude & Grace in June 2014. Someone once told us that a wedding day is like your own little world that you create for one day. Set the scene, create the memories, let the love pour over you from family and friends. It was truly an amazing experience, one I couldn't fully grasp until the actual day. In large part, the wedding was so spectacular because of Gratitude & Grace. We wanted to get married in Ithaca because we met at IC and it was always our special bubble, a beautiful town with such gorges, natural surroundings. Hoping for a rustic, Ithaca vibe that was private, yet open, had the accommodations for guests, catering, dining, while still accentuating the breathtaking outdoors, we came across G&G. Ron was extremely helpful and passionate from the start. This was a new venture for him back then. We'd get updates on how the barn was coming along, surprise texts like images of the exquisite chandelier. Talk about pride of ownership. He was extremely accommodating in terms of letting us have access to the venue with caterers, DJ and other vendors ahead of time to plan the arrangements. The barn has a prep kitchen that was key for our caterers, there's power sources everywhere inside, the 2nd floor double french doors allowed for a spectacular cross breeze that kept the whole place very comfortable at the end of June. Every angle, every nook and cranny of the property has been landscaped and decorated that you can have your choice of where to have the ceremony, photos, cocktail hour etc. We wound up booking the homestead for 2 nights for our bridal party as well. This was so helpful to have a home base, connect with our wedding party and have early access to the barn for prep. We can't say enough wonderful things about G&G and Ron. We should mention, we planned the entire wedding from Los Angeles! Talk about potential nightmares, but Ron was so communicative, we felt very comfortable and had no problems! We constantly think back to our wedding day with much pride and happiness, wishing we could do it again and again. read more

We got married at Gratitude and Grace in August 2015, and it was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. It is absolutely gorgeous- the gardens, house, barn, and surrounding fields are beautiful and make for an ideal setting and some really nice pictures. The barn easily accommodated all of our guests for dinner and dancing (we had 80 people, but many more could have fit). Our entire wedding party stayed in the house for the weekend, which was very convenient and also a lot of fun. The house is well appointed with a beautiful bridal suite, hot tub, and pool. Ron is the nicest guy, and very accommodating! He made us feel right at home and we cannot recommend him highly enough. This venue is not all-inclusive: you have to hire your own caterer, rent bathrooms, provide your own DJ and sound system, etc. However, we loved the flexibility that this setup allowed us. Our wedding was fabulous, and it was in large part due our choice of venue. I would recommend Gratitude and Grace to anyone! read more
