Had a gel manicure less than 2 weeks ago and it's chipped and lifting. I approached them about it - in the nicest way possible because...there's no need to be ugly about it, right? But the Lady in Charge wanted to debate that the poor condition of the manicure was on par with the time that had passed. Really??so are we supposed to drop 50-60$$ every 2 weeks for a gel??Maybe they don't realize there are nail salons every 100 yards and we have choices about where to spend our money. I have worn Acrylic nails for about 42 years. In all those years I have been too a few nail salons. Nail salons have come along way since I first started getting them done. From Acrylic to Gel and Dipping I have tried them all and Acrylic to me is the strongest for what I do for a living. While using a hand file to an electrical one you are always going to get nicks. And yes there's blood but it's certainly not done on purpose. In the last 16 years I have had Lisa do my nails and toes. Lisa does a fantastic job on my nails and I only like her or her brother Phuong to do my nails. I think that all the manicurist that work there does nail and toes very professionally. If you want you nails or toes to get shorter or stay long they will abide to your request. If you wanted a certain color or style I'm sure they would abide by your requests of style or shape or color. While there's down time in the salon those ladies are always cleaning and mopping and wiping down the pedicure chairs. I have referred several friends and customers to get manicure and pedicures done. She has a following on social media showing her styles and her art work. read more

Today is my birthday and on a whim, I decided to get a manicure. I haven't gotten a manicure in probably two years, but I wanted to splurge on myself and get my cuticles cleaned! I called about 10:30 AM on Thursday and they answered quickly, clarifying the prices, and that a walk-in would be OK. Right when walking into the salon, I was greeted by multiple staff members. I sat down within the first minute after asking what I wanted. I showed them a picture from their yelp, asking for a clean, short, natural gel manicure. All staff were kind and friendly. I don't do my nails often because polish and gel do not typically stay in my nails longer than a week. I have a few friends that regularly go to Love Nails so I gave it a try. First time I did a gel mani and second time I did a gel pedi and Lynn did my nails the second time and suggested trying dip which I've never done before. The gel mani stayed put for 3 weeks. I was getting some lifting on the edges at the end of the three weeks but it was awesome to it last so long. The dip is going strong at 5 weeks. I'm ready for it to be off but it's not budging. The space is small but clean, and definitely no-frills (no massage chair or Jets in the pedicure tub, no ventilation system, some lower end polishes). Service was very kind and proficient. My nails (regular manicure/pedicure, not gel) lasted a solid week. The polish on my nails was a light color, so was a bit streaky and didn't get full coverage. They did a great job on nail cleanup, shaping, and cuticles! For a fairly cheap (note they add a service charge for credit card payments) salon, this met my needs to do a semi-annual mani/pedi for a wedding I attended, but wouldn't make this my regular spot. read more

I absolutely adore Love Nails, the staff, the energy, and the services! I've been going there for almost 2 years now and I will only go there to get my nails done. The great customer service starts when I call the salon. Lisa always answers the phone and recognizes my phone number. I usually come in for a gel manicure and pedicure and it doesn't matter which staff does my nails because Lisa always makes sure it's to my liking and if not she will make sure it is fixed. That is the case for every customer, so there is literally NO excuse to leave the salon and feel unsatisfied. Just saying. They also have a TON of colors and are always getting more for each season. Perhaps my favorite thing about Love Nails is the fact that they are GENTLE. Very disappointing experience. The salon was overcrowded with a strong toxic smell from all the acrylic nails in a closed space. My daughter's nail was injured and started bleeding after her first-ever manicure. As an infection control professional, I can say the tools and environment didn't seem clean or properly sterilized. When I spoke up, the technician lied and said it was red polish--not true as she never used read color whatsoever. They also charge you the card fee ($2.00 extra)and push for cash payments. Unprofessional and unsafe. Plus they keep speaking in their language thinking that nobody knows, so rude! I won't be going back there ever again. They should be careful of a lawsuit read more

Very expensive & they do a very rush work on pedis. I was there a couple of times, but I didn't enjoy it. Very small and crowded place.

My boyfriend and I came in for mani and pedis. The techs seemed super rushed, especially with my boyfriend. He just wanted a simple trim and cleaning of his nails and they grinded his nail down with the grinding tool. Not sure why that happened if he wasn't going to get color, and the nail trim is super uneven. The nail tech rushed his process when there were no lines. My nails were left with no cuticle cleaning, and glue all around the base of my nail, and my toes are completely uneven. They did the most bare minimum we paid $160 for the both of us. Kim did my nails and was incredible today! This was my second visit and now they'll be my permanent nail place. She actually managed to paint a "diya" on my nail?! You don't see the flame as too big cause my nail is super tiny, but I can't wait to go back in 3 weeks when my nails are a bit longer and get them done for Diwali with the "Diya's" which show the flame properly. Out of the tens of nail salons I've been to in my life, this was my worst manicure. I don't usually like leaving bad reviews but this place messed up my finger nails so badly. I went twice - both times they gave me women who must have been in training? The second girl used the drill on my nails (which only had gel on them) for so long that they became so thin that all of my fingers would burn when I'd take a shower or wash my hands with warm water. I've been having to grow out my destroyed nails for the last 2 months and they still are so weak that they break to the point where they bleed. Would not recommend this place. read more

I wish I lived in the area bc this would be my regular spot.
