I waited over 40 minutes to be served. She put my hands to be soaked and they were so wrinkled. I love my manicure and pedicure, but of time is important think twice before booking here. They overbook themselves.

I came here for a pedicure and unfortunately wasn't very impressed with my first experience…read more The first thing I noticed was that the arm of the pedicure chair was pretty dirty. The pedicure started off fine with soaking and exfoliating, but when the technician was cutting my nails, she accidentally cut the corner of my left big toe and it started bleeding. She noticed right away and took care of it, and the bleeding stopped quickly. I've had many pedicures before and this was the first time I've ever been cut to the point of bleeding, so I didn't feel comfortable having her continue. I asked her to just colour my nails. Another technician ended up taking over and she was much better and seemed more experienced. My biggest issue was really the cleanliness. Besides the chair, the UV/LED nail lamp was visibly dirty with a lot of old stains and residue on it. Overall, the service was okay, especially after the second nail technician took over, but between getting cut and the cleanliness of the place, I wouldn't come back. I'm very surprised with the good reviews on Google.

Blissful uses non-toxic products that don't sting your nose nor gives you headache and can sometimes irritate your skin. The nail technicians are all friendly and they know what they're doing. I was told that they never reuse their foot scrubs. This is very important to me and I guess to everyone. You don't want to be using the same scrubs other people used. I did both manicure and pedicure and both times I'm very satisfied. This place is highly recommended.

Dishonest Pricing and Poor Customer Service…read more I brought my 12-year-old daughter here for a pedicure, which is listed on their website for $28. I called ahead to confirm the price and was told it would be $35 because it was shellac. When it came time to pay, they suddenly said it was $45. I reminded them of what I was told on the phone, and the woman at the front responded rudely, saying my daughter "didn't look 12." After some back and forth, they said they'd charge $40 instead -- but I refused because I had already confirmed it would be $35 and that was already more than what they have listed on their website. They finally agreed, but the entire situation was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I also got a shellac manicure for myself, listed online for $40. At checkout, they charged me $45 without any explanation. Again, they didn't care about what was advertised or discussed ahead of time. This place is dishonest and does not honor the prices they advertise on their own website. It felt like they were trying to get away with charging whatever they could. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone looking for transparency or respectful service.

The man who did my nails (I believe he was the owner as he took the calls when the phone would ring, greet customers, etc.) was super friendly and he helped me pick out colours for my nails based off the photo I showed him, he wasn't annoyed or anything (I wanted a different colour for each nail). He did take his time on my nails which I appreciated, I rather someone that takes longer to do nails than rush it and they don't look as good. Overall the place was really clean and the staff there were super friendly and welcoming, the pricing was pretty fair too. I'll definitely be coming back to get my nails filled here!

I have been a loyal customer of Pure Nail Bar since they opened and have been getting cat-eye…read moremanicures and pedicures here since 2023. I live just down the street from the salon, which makes it convenient, but the main reason I've continued coming back is because I've consistently had positive experiences and have always left happy with the service. Unfortunately, my most recent pedicure was disappointing. From the beginning, the technician's demeanor made me feel uncomfortable. She handled my feet as though she didn't want to touch them and provided very little communication throughout the service. Rather than simply telling me when to lift my feet or place them back in the tub, she would just look at me and seem to expect that I should know what she wanted. It felt awkward and unwelcoming. The biggest issue was with the cat-eye polish. I specifically requested and paid for cat-eye polish on both my manicure and pedicure. My manicure was done by another technician and the cat-eye effect was exactly what I expected. During my pedicure, however, I was told that the effect was difficult to achieve on toenails because they are smaller. After I questioned why my pedicure didn't resemble my manicure, she only applied the cat-eye effect to my big toenails and left the remaining toes as they were, explaining that the other nails were too small. She mentioned she could try, but by that point I had another appointment to get to and didn't feel like I should have to keep insisting on receiving the service I had already paid for. To make matters more frustrating, I was then told that if I wanted a darker cat-eye effect, I should request a black base next time. Had this been explained at the beginning of the appointment, I would have gladly considered that option. Instead, the explanation came after the service, when it was too late to make changes. The hot stone massage was also uncomfortable. The stones were very hot, yet I was never asked whether the temperature was comfortable before they were applied. A simple check-in would have made a big difference and demonstrated some concern for client comfort. I want to emphasize that this review is based on my experience with one technician and not the salon as a whole. Over the years, I have had many excellent pedicures here and have always felt well taken care of. That's why this experience stood out so much. As a customer who has supported this location for years and lives nearby, I left feeling disappointed, unheard, and as though my comfort and satisfaction were not a priority. I hope this feedback is received constructively, as I would like to continue supporting this salon and seeing the level of service that originally made me a loyal customer.
