Mani/Pedi Found this salon based in Yelp ratings and man it did not disappoint. Call for a walk in and was told yes but could I wait an hour. Said yes and then promptly got a return call in 15 mins they were ready for me. Tech was Lux and he was amazing. Professional, thorough and very communicative about the treatments as it went on asking if any adjustment were needed. Technique was excellent and he looked over his work several times before presenting to me for approval. The salon was laid out very nicely and extremely clean. All of the staff were very nice and I noticed they know most of the clients walking in the door as many of the staff looked and welcomed them by name.....very impressive!!!!! I also appreciated that they didn't try to upsell any services, while I was somewhat surprised that a menu with prices wasn't presented to me. All worked out well and the price was extremely reasonable. Bottom line this is a top scale salon and I would highly recommend it. read more

Got a pedicure with one of my girlfriends here and it was a great experience! She called ahead to make an appointment and requested we got ours done at the same time. Definitely recommend making an appointment because while they do accept walk ins - sometimes timing just doesn't walkways work out and you wouldn't want to miss out if you had somewhere to be and you couldn't get in lol! It's a clean interior and the staff wear masks which I appreciate. I chose a basic pedicure while my friend did shellac deluxe - we both loved our services and it was a very pleasant experience. Been meaning to try this place since I've heard great things. Very clean salon. Plexiglass still in place and staff were all wearing masks. I also saw staff sanitizing regularly when I was in for a service. Washroom was also very clean. I went with the ultimate mani and pedi with gel polish upgrade. From start to finish it was amazing. Hannah took her time. The massage and peppermint mask were the highlight. So relaxing! It was definitely worth it. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years and gone to places downtown that charge me $90 for a set and this was possibly the best experience I've ever had. Helen shapes them perfectly, she also painted them right to the edges which is a pet peeve of mine when they don't. She was pleasant and every single one of them was friendly. She knew exactly what she was doing and I think I found my new nail place. I've previously been dedicated to Crystal Nails in New Westminster as they do a good job but I often feel rushed in there and have had some shaping issues. I actually thought this was one of their chains but this place has no affiliation with the other one. Every single person that came in they knew by name and they were regulars. My favorite place to relax and de-stress while having a manicure or pedicure. Pedicure today from Linda, what a treat, she is polite, efficient and gives a relaxing yet firm leg rub. This little place is a hidden gem! They were friendly, polite, cleanly, thorough and hardworking! I have been getting my nails done for years and I had yet to find a place that paid attention to detail and was working to be accurate. I have been going to Helen and Linda for a year now, both are very good. They do what you want and give ideas for you to choose from. Prices are very good compared to many places. Establishment is clean and they are careful to clean all instruments and foot spas. They have vents to suck up all the filing dust and clean the table for each customer. The establishment is now larger and newly renovated in bright white with great lighting and rows of front facing windows. Very cheerful now. 5 Stars read more

They are meticulous and my mani pedi always comes out perfect but they are also quick so you aren't there for hours (For a mom, this is important). Got a mani/pedi here yesterday. Mani came out nice but not so impressed with the pedicure. They brought out a metal cheese grater- when it was time to exfoliate my heels. I was disgusted and did not allow them to use it. They keep small baskets with all of their "tools" and I definitely don't think they sanitize anything. I used to go here because it is really close to my house but there is a girl who works there who is incredibly cold for some reason. Another family member of mine used to go there to and she said this girl was argumentative with her. She did my nails a few times actually and while I thought she was pretty good -- she is so hot and cold -- it just makes me uncomfortable. The last time I went she ignored me the whole time even though I was sitting right next to her. If I had to guess (which I have to because I see no reason for her behavior) I would say she was annoyed that I didn't call ahead and book with her because she wants the tip. However, it wasn't personal at all and I felt so uncomfortable the entire time I haven't been back. I wouldn't say don't go here because all the other girls are sweet but this one is putting a damper on the whole operation. read more

I got a pedicure here. The gentleman who greeted me, who I believe is the owner, is really enthusiastic and friendly. The lady who did my nails didn't speak any english which always makes things awkward. I had some sensitive spots on my feet from blisters and she didn't understand when I was trying to tell her. They have a good selection of polishes to choose from but not quite the colour I was looking for. The price is good. It was $35 for my pedi. It's a far better deal if you get a mani/pedi together. It's not decorated nicely, it's just standard hole-in-the-wall nail salon. At one point something smelled like it was burning and it got worse. It smelled like burning plastic. It was stinging my nostrils at the end. I didn't complain and just waited for my nails to dry, paid and left. It was strange they didn't acknoweldge it. I got a $25 mani/pedi & Free bottle of nail polish deal from bcdailydeals.com for natural nails. I wish I didn't. There was 1 person working on me and my sister, so it took forever, and was not enjoyable. The mani and pedi were not very good, nail polish bubbled after, no massage or anything. When we went to get our free bottle of polish, we found out it was not a new bottle, but a pick from their used nail polish they use at the store ( and i dont mean the one they used on me, im talking about half used bottles) When I said, we do t get a new bottle, we get a used one? the worker said, not used, only used for pedi's. Is that not used? They also wanted us to pay the HST for the used bottle, we passed, kind of gross! Such a crappy place, I would never ever ever ever ever go bank, or reccommend it to anyone. Hi, I recently purchased a deal from BCDailyDeals.comfor $25 for Mani/Pedi with free bottle of Nail Polish. I went yesterday for a mani/ Pedi and here are the things that made this a not so great experience. 1. On the deal they advertise $46 normally for a mani/pedi and sold it for $25. When you go there their everyday deal is $35.00 for a mani/pedi. EVERYDAY.... 2. The "free" nail polish was the USED bottle from the cupboard where you pick your color. There is no "new" set of bottles to pick from. 3. The OWNER was smoking out the back door (great spot) BUT with the door wide open so from 10 feet away from where I was sitting smoke smell inside his establishment. After he came back in he NEVER washed his hands. And he also works on clients nails. 4. I'm not super particular and reasonable when getting a great deal for something, but the girl painted my toes like someone in Kindergarden. 5. I had a 10am appt. I was there 5 min early. No one was there. Owner strolled in at 10:05 (ok) and had me sitting in chair for another 10-15 min while the girl who was doing my nails was also late. 6. I asked for clear nail polish on my hands after seeing what was done to my toes and a CRUSTY (for real) bottle of clear polish was used. It started to peel after 6 hours at home. I did not wash dishes or have them wet (other than washing my hands) 7. The place is very very run down. 8. It took 1 1/2 hours, there was no foot scrub, massage, the smell dirty was soaking in my body. I could go on, and on but, don't want to start getting too petty. The place was just GROSS and I feel I need to go for another mani/ pedi. I left smelling like a dollar store longing for a shower, the biggest thing is their regular price is $35.00 for a mani/ pedi. There was no real deal to be had here. GROSS GROSS GROSS NEVER GO HERE!!! I'm a reasonable understanding person and for me to take the time to write this means something! read more
