This is the first time Kieu has worked on my nails and she did a beautiful job. It's close to Christmas so I got some beautiful sparkles and a sweater pattern on one nail. It's the cutest! Had a lovely time yesterday!…read more My friend was the one who arranged the appointment. I didn't ask for the specifics, but it seemed like she either was texting or messaging someone directly, and was able to get us an appointment around the time when they were opening. We walked in at exactly our appointed time, and they had our seats waiting for us. They only had four employees at the time, and two of them were already assisting other customers, so my friend and I hopped into our seats to be assisted next,, while the hubby enjoyed the massage chair while he waited. This ended up being three manis and pedis, plus gels for all nails for the girls, and took around 1.75 hours because my friend was able to get some very cute hearts on top of the gels. Very, very thorough. They were able to clip my toe nails short and round, and did general maintenance on all nails/cuticles. The massages were great, too. Something that I really liked was that they try their best to not have the gel hit your skin; it's literally just a hair away from the skin at all directions. And the products they use were very good, as I haven't had any sort of skin reaction that I've had at other salons. The staff was hands-down amazing. They asked what we wanted, and they delivered every time. My friends' nails came out super-cute, and I'm very happy with mine. And the hubby's mani/pedi were possibly a little bit of a challenge (he has weird nails), but they got through it as much as they could. Would happily come back!!

Absolutely terrible service. We used to come here all the time since they opened but didn't return…read moreafter mediocre service back in December. I was surprised at the time but we decided to give them another chance as they had been good in the past. I booked an appointments for manicures and pedicures for my two girls 5 days in advance. Big mistake. We arrived for our appointment and there were only three techs for 5 people who were already in the salon. With us, that was 7 people there for services. It appeared to me that the 3 people sitting in the pedicure chairs were just beginning their pedicures. The tech asked me if we had an appointment and I responded that we did. I asked her if it would be long as I had another appointment to go to and she said they would take one of my daughters right away and the second one within 10 minutes. It was not right away. We sat there and she called my first daughter up 20 mins later. She put her in the chair for the pedicure, filled the water up, had her soak her feet for less than a minute and then immediately emptied the water. I sat there completely stunned while my daughter looked at me and shrugged. The tech (owner of the salon) then proceeded to race through cutting her toenails and removing cuticles. This did not resemble any kind of pedicure service we had ever experienced anywhere. It was then that I noticed that the tech was using the same pedicure tools that had been used on the customer who had been sitting in the chair beside my daughter on her. The tools had not been sanitized. My other daughter was called up in the middle of this. By this point, we were 30 mins past our appointment time. She had my second daughter sit in the chair and then proceeded to go back to a different client. At this point, I had had enough. I told both of my daughters to get up and that we were leaving. I told the owner that if they were running late for my appointments, they should have informed me as I made my appointment 5 days prior. She said nothing. No apology, nothing. When we got home, I noticed that the sides of my daughter's toes had been nicked by the tools used, most likely because the tech was rushing so much to finish. Absolute garbage customer service. Unsanitary tools. Rushing through services. There are a lot of nail salons in Langley to choose from. We won't be going back to this one and I can't see them lasting much longer if this is their new standard of service.

I happened to be going to Guildford Mall and decided to get my nails done beforehand. Yelp reviewers were right about this place -- clean, nice job, friendly staff, and prices were very comparable to other nail salons! The owner, Lana, was there and was super friendly. I had to wait about 10 minutes (as I did not have an appointment), but I didn't mind as I was not in a rush and it gave me time to look for my nail polish colour. She also offered me some tea or water while waiting, which I declined since I wasn't thirsty at the time. The girl who did my manicure, Noewa, did an excellent job and didn't rush at all. During my manicure, Lana came back to ask if I wanted tea or water this time, and I happily took a cup of tea, which was so nice! Just before my nails were done, I overheard Lana ask Noewa (in a motherly way) if she had taken a break and to get something to eat. If you ask me, that's a nice boss to have, making sure her staff gets the proper treatment! I'm not sure if these 2 ladies were related, but it was still a nice thing for Lana to do. To top it off, they have a stamp/loyalty card, which gives you $5 off after your 5th and 10th visit. This is the only nail salon I've been to that has a stamp card on top of their usual discounts/deals during the week. I will definitely be coming back!!
