Took us over to one of her assistants and she explained to us all the options and extras we could get. The second time I went in for a yearly eye exam, the receptionist greeted me with a good morning, asked what she could help me with?, before I even greeted her back. The wait was an hour but only because there was a family of 4 ahead of me. The Dr. called me in went into the exam room, asked me a few questions and proceeded. She answered all my questions. I do need glasses ! Before the last exam, she explained she was going to dialate my pupils and that I was going to see blurry for a couple of hours. After, she took me over to choose my new glasses , after like 5-10 min she came back to check on me and see how I was doing and to see if I needed help with choosing some glasses. Really liked that she's there her patients. Told my mom about Dr. Lovato, and I think she'll be giving the office a call.

As per the other comment here, I can see how they complain about the front office not picking up the phone. I called them at 1:50 ( their lunch is supposed to end at 1:45). They did not answer the phone. I had to call 4 other times before I got someone on the line. However, that was not a problem. Literally, if a Doctors office is full of patients and sometime it will take some work to get ahold of someone. The front was very helpful and sweet. Wish they did have a better stock of glasses but it's fine.

Honestly, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had trying to get medical…read morecare. I was previously a patient at this office, which is why I decided to call them again when I started experiencing pain in my eye. I've called multiple times trying to schedule an appointment, but my calls were repeatedly ended. I was told they were having internet issues, but that explanation was very frustrating considering what happened afterward. Another person and I called around the same time. They answered her call and were able to schedule her an appointment, while they did not answer my call when I called the office number. The voicemail also specifically says to leave a message with your phone number so someone can call you back. I left a message, but I never received a call back. When I finally did speak with someone, I felt that the receptionist was extremely rude toward me, and I also felt that the doctor was rude during the call. I was calling because I was experiencing eye pain and was simply trying to get an appointment. I don't feel that I should have been treated that way, especially as a previous patient. I also want to mention that since receiving care at this office, I've noticed that my vision has gotten worse. I can't say what caused the change in my vision, but it is something I've personally experienced and it has added to my concerns. At this point, I will be looking elsewhere for my eye care. I understand that offices can be busy and that technical issues happen, but patients should still receive basic communication, professionalism, and respect--especially when they are calling because they are experiencing pain. Very disappointed with my experience.

Dr Tran and her staff, including Melissa, Jackie, Alejandra, and the latest addition to the awesome…read moreteam , Ruby, made our visit a very pleasant one for the second year in a row. They have a very good selection of inexpensive frames for the frugal shopper and for customers that enjoy high end items as well, and everything in between. In addition they have a section just for children's glasses as well One is bound to save with VISIONWORKS in BG, in fact both times i saved more than 40-60% per frame, on 4 frames (saved hundreds) The staff are never pushy about making a sale as they are in other places, and Melissa gave us some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. Dr Tran Is always extremely patient with me and my hundred questions, well maybe only 30 questions, and she is always very thorough with my eye exam. She has 3 machines that test ones eyes and a remarkable NIKON camera (retinal scanner), that although it costs a bit more (i paid $49), is well worth it to make sure one's eyes are healthy, especially if you are over 60 as i am and have hypertension or hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia or two out of 3 as i do My vision is precious to me and after going through a scare last year, Dr Tran's NIKON left me assured that there was no permanent damage to my eyes in an instant, no long wait and sleepless nights, so when they suggested the NIKON exam, i immediately agreed and thank GOD all is well once again

She appeared rushed throughout the visit, was overly impatient, and made uncomfortable facial expressions toward my father that made him feel unwelcome and disrespected. I would not recommend this office to families bringing elderly parents or grandparents. Patients deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and respect, especially older adults who may need assistance from their caregivers.
