Extremely poor customer service by the receptionist that was there 5/12/23 around 10:30. She was more concerned about being on her phone rather than communicating with a person about their glasses. When asked by the person why it was taking long she scolded person with a nasty attitude as if she were speaking to a child. So unprofessional! First time visit took my mom here and the experience was awful. Appointment was at 3pm she wasn't seen until about two hours later. Only to received the worst treatment/bedside manners by this unprofessional and unethical MD who lacks empathy towards elderly patients with Parkinson's disease. I clearly provided her medical history in the new patient care package they asked to be filled out and I did state that she has Parkinson's. The staff failed to put that information in the computer for him to see but that is no excuse as to why he put his hand on my mothers head rudely and rough because she couldn't stay still while he was trying to examine her eyes. In spanish he told her as he grabbed her by the top of her head saying dije no the muevas in a very stern and forceful voice. He then asked if there were any questions and stated he would prescribe some eye drops. He then turns to me and gives me the clipboard and says in the same tone of voice take this to the front as if I was one of his employees. Didn't even bother to say please or can you please give this to the receptionist. In my experience working in the medical field I've never seen a patient get treated how my mom was treated today. The office is dirty the walls look like they don't get cleaned the patient restroom smelled like urine and didn't even have the proper supplies. I then asked to speak to the office manager. She took me in her office and apologized on his behalf that it had been a long busy day for him. That is no excuse or give him the right to treat any patient the way he did to my mother today. My mom is a 78yr old woman who didn't deserve to be treated like this by him or anyone. Definitely not going back there and I feel horrible for any patient that has maybe experience his unprofessionalism and doesn't speak up of have anyone to speak for them. read more

Only placed guaranteed to see you at least 30 min AFTER your appointment. Seems like they over book because money right. They prefer quantity over quality. Considering the majority if not all of their patients are senior citizens. COVID policies are lacking. It seems like they do the minimum for their patients. From the lobby to the service. At times staff could be rude. Remember they're dealing with elderly. So dealing with some hearing loss and confusion comes with the job. read more

My mom had went to see the doctor so she can get a laser on her eye because her eye started bleeding & the doctor told her that she doesn't need anything because he sees no blood but yet my mom does. Worst place to come to I came payed $130 for just a contact vision test I normally do the month to month contact change doctor only had the ones that last 2 weeks told me to come back in a week to get the new Trials I did they didn't come in when I went back, now today almost 3 weeks later I called and now they tell me that they barely ordered my trials yesterday like come on I went almost 3 weeks ago for my test those trials should of been order the same day I went in not 3 weeks later now when the ones I have don't work anymore now I can't see and still have to wait, on top of that they didn't even give me my prescription target vision center is cheaper then this place target only chargers $110 for both glasses and contacts exam never coming back here again !!! read more

The doctor is the rudest person ever! And his fat assistant too!... I had to leave my mom appointment early because he was being rude not showing her the respect she deserves as a patient. He was answering my moms questions like a fucking smart ass. So I told him " you need to look at my mom when she's asking you questions and showing her respect, your being rude by not explaining her concerns with an appropriate approach" then his like if you don't like it then change doctors. definitely will!! Took my dad (Last name ..Pola) with Dr Casimiro. The Dr and the his office people are very nice and professional. Dr Casimiro took his time in explaining every thing related to my Dad's vision. Horrible time here. My appointment was at 2:15 pm I arrived 30 min earlier, it's was 3:00 pm and they haven't called me.. I ask what was happening, oh we are sorry but we have 2 patients in from of you. I'll be another 30 to 45 mins what the fuck they make you do appointments for.. On the front counter they have a sing saying if you miss an appointment you will be charged a fee of $25 are you guys serious. OK well I was here already. In 2007 my friend Deana had won a free corrective eye surgery, I was a perfect candidate. Well unfortunately I found out I had glaucoma so I was recommended to Dr. Gonzalez if it wasn't for him I would be blind he saved my vision. I do not recommend going to this place. My dad came here for a regular eye exam and was told that his vision was relatively good and that his prescription would be low, however, his prescription was so high he was unable to see anything at all. He would feel dizzy while driving and he describes his eyes going cross-eyed. After putting on these glasses for a week, he decided he had to return them and change the prescription. The assistant laughed at him and told my dad it was the way my dad was putting on his glasses... um, my dad has been wearing glasses for more than 10yrs, and I'm highly positive even a child knows how to put wear glasses. He asked for his money back and they wouldn't give it to him until finally they did but only half! They said they would refund for glasses but not the exam since "it's the glasses that don't work." What an excuse. AVERT AVERT. My dad says the staff was rude too and he could tell they were making fun of him and making jokes about him being old. Extremely rude. Dr. Casimiro is attentive and he relates well with his patients, but the staff here is horrible!!! I understand the the girls at the desk are secretaries and most likely have no medical knowledge at all, but that does not and should not excuse them for not doing their job. After an appointment a request needed to be filled with the insurance company for approval, but the staff did not file it until more than 2 weeks later. Two doctors including Dr. Casimiro expressed that this needed to be taken care of soon. The disconnect between the medical staff and the supporting staff is staggering! How can there be such carelessness and lack of care or pride for that matter in the jobs they care out? These secretaries are better off working in a company where there mistakes and there carelessness does not affect people's health and the timely manner in which they receive that medical attention that is needed (with urgency in this case!). Obviously there is no one supervising these girls to make sure they accomplish all of there tasks on time. I expressed my dissatisfaction over the phone and in person, and they did accommodate for an impromptu appointment right away. And while the staff was courteous, others were visibly upset including Dr. Casimiro. I don't regret expressing my concerns while being obviously upset and while I do not blame the doctor I do feel that the work his staff provides (or lack thereof) is a direct reflection on him and his practice. I do hope this serves as an example and that this does not happen again. However, if you come here, I recommend that you call periodically and remind the front staff to do their job! read more
