They helped change out my lenses, didn't charge anything and were fast. Highly recommend!

Growing up in a disadvantage neighbor you believe that local businesses would your interest at heart, as a teen this place took advantage of my family, they only sold me individual contact lenses instead of selling me an entire box. Now that I am older and I have learned about the various options of ordering contact lenses such as rebates and specials, I see how this doctors office cheated me of those benefits, vendidos ! read more

Stay away from this place!! Came for a check up. I can't believe that one of the doctors ( I believe) is not wearing a mask, and the nurses are not wearing them properly. I think these people don't know that there is a virus going around. Stay away from this place people. Now I am thinking on getting tested... read more

I've been going here since I was a kid and I had appointment but it still took me 1 hour to be seen after the set time but either way the people are nice and accept Medi-Cal read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They take forever and the chunky lady in the front has a fucked up attitude. I had called last week to set up an appointment because my daughter got a referral so I decided to take my son as well. So she said me and my son weren't able to be seen because we didn't have a referral but like I said I had called and they said to just do a walk in next time they need to say I need a referral. That chunky lady needs to get her attitude straight if not people will stop going because of her stupid as attitude and next time for them to be more specific. read more

Great service! Friendly staff!! Nice glasses selection, with very good prices for cash patients. Would definitely recommend this place.

Bro, this place sucks! The last time I was here they couldn't get the prescription on my glasses right. They kept saying it was my eyes trying to "adjust" to the new prescription. Not true. It took almost two months to get my glasses. I wasted time and money. Today I called them and asked if I can be seen since I broke my glasses and they said yes, but I had to wait 10-15 for them. Btw the girl on the phone was rude. Anyway, I get there and there's no social distancing. When I finally got to talk to someone they went to the back, got an ugly frame to replace the one I paid for and gave me an ugly mirror to try them on. I couldn't even see if they looked good or not. I can keep going and going. . Never again. read more

I've been coming to this office since I was a little girl maybe 7, the doctors the staff are friendly, sometime maybe a bit serious but they are running a big office, it can be a little bit of a wait but been here since I was little I'm not planing on changing it anytime soon. They were extremely helpful as well when I started with my contacts journey & anytime I need a fill they have something in hand for me. amazing office overall! read more

This optometrist clinic always have been excellent, the problem started after Dr. Luis Perez stopped to manage this business, Wife and I've see Dr.Perez for the las 20 years,he is very professional and excellent person who always see his patients as a family member, unfortunately the personal at the front desk doesn't have customer service skills, My wife told then one time that they have to change their attitude because we as a customer deserve respect, During the Covid-19 they were asking to all the patients to wear a mask, and I asked then to wear their mask too , their answer was that they don't need it I hope the person in charge of this business pay attention to this reviews , read more

I've been to this place 2 times and each time I've been here it's been a negative experience. First time i came to get glasses and second to get contacts. Both times they failed to call me when my order was ready. And both times I had to call to get an update and they couldn't find my orders even though I had been charged. I could forgive this but what made it worse was both ladies working here both times are so bitter and unhelpful. One younger woman with boxy eyebrows and heavy make up has a nasty attitude. The second heavy set older lady gets bothered when you ask questions about how long an order may take, the cost etc as if it isn't her job to answer these questions. I'd say stay away from this place. You have better luck going to Costco where even there you'll get 10xs better service read more

been coming here since i was about 15 years old (currently 22) and i've decided to go to another eye doctor. the gordita receptionist is lowkey rude as well as the muchacha with the glasses. the only nice people there is the doctor himself and the guy with the glasses and 1 long sleeve. i guess the problem here is the front staff. now that i can make my own decisions, im moving somewhere else. don't recommend this place! read more

I am so glad I found this place online after a Google search for local eye doctors, and even happier that I gave it a chance. The employees are nice, quick and efficient. I haven't been to an eye doctor in a few years, and I've been meaning to go because I need transitional glasses for driving. The eye exam was thorough but but didn't take longer than needed. Turns out the glasses I have are too strong for my needs and when I asked about contacts, they were honest with me that they'd probably be uncomfortable because I don't need to wear glasses all day. Walk-ins are from 10am-12 and 2-4pm, and they also open every other Saturday. Now even my mom and my husband want to go check it out themselves. My mom, because she's tired of the rude receptionists at Dr. Nakauchi's (see previous review); my husband, because he was impressed by the amazing deal I got on my glasses which he didn't even get at Costco. Yes! Definitely going back. read more

Incompetent doctors and staff. When I requested my prescription that I PAID for I had to jump through hoops. The first person I spoke to told me I had to come in and pick it up. I moved out of state... the 2nd person finally allowed me to fax an approval over but refused to send me an official medical release form and they tried to refuse my hand written release. Then after releasing my prescription to me, they left out critical information I had to call back and request for. Happy I can use a new doctor in a few months. Go somewhere else if you can people. The staff are rude asf read more

Cesar is great at his job and is very helpful. Glasses were on point and great customer service.

Some relatives and I have been to this place for more than a decade so this is very disappointing to write. The staff here is nice and welcoming but the optometrists, with the exception of Dr. Luis Perez can be classist. My cousin won't come back here after an optometrist rejected giving her eye contacts because she wouldn't be able to "afford" them. I've never had an encounter like hers but hearing whenever I go for new glasses and I choose ones that will come out of pocket, the Dr. hesitates for a while to order them you. This place should know better, just because you are working in a low-income area doesn't mean you have to be opprobrious and discriminate towards the patients. read more

Been coming to this place for years . Doctor is really awesome . I have referred a few persons here

I'm so sad that I haven't been able to see the doctor here in over a year as they are truly the best doctors I've ever been to. Unfortunately, this location has gone down hill over time. The staff is very unorganized and overbooks patients. I've scheduled an appointment TWICE and I've been told that it shouldn't be a long wait due to the time I've chosen which has been 11:30am. I walked in on both occasions and the place (which is extremely small) was jam packed, so much so that I even accidentally hit someone with the door as I tried to open it. I asked the receptionist if it would be okay for me to wait outside and if they could call me when it was my turn as there way way too many people packed into a small room. She said, "if you are not inside, you'll probably be skipped." Excuse me? WAIT INSIDE, WHERE? I've been coming here for well over 10 years, I've never seen it this bad. People were sitting shoulder to shoulder and had no masks on. The situation was horrible. Truly, lm saddened to leave this place. If these receptionists don't get their acts together, they're gonna loose a lot of loyal patients. read more

I had been going to this place since I was a child. But, like many, life got in the way regular vision check-ups. Was glad to see that they took in walk-ins, they took my insurance, and they were quick! Staff was really nice and the Dr. was very cool. He even gave clarity about being a first time glasses user and how to progressively get to a higher prescription instead of giving me a strong prescription all together. They have a variety of glasses that'll work with insurance, which I thought was fantastic! Definitely check this place out! read more

I recommend this place it's affordable and the staff is great ! It's a small place but that's ok I'm not looking for luxury I just need affordable prices and this is it . The Dr. Is nice super cool. read more

Very humble people here. Best service I have ever seen in a vision center. My son broke his glasses and the lady at the front desk took care of it with such an ease. Talk about being a problem solver. The optometrist is also a nice guy that treated my son like he had known him forever. He hooked us up with affordable options. Highly recommended. read more

The receptionist is really rude, she seems to hate her job or something because I've never come across someone that rude, I literally had to bite my tongue. Been coming here since I was in the 6th grade, I'm currently 22. So it's a long time and I miss the old receptionist. The doctor is very nice. That's all. read more

Wow, read the reviews for this place and didn't think that they really are as rude as they say. THEY ARE! I came in and they were attending a lady. The lady was telling them about the quality of her brand new glasses that were broken and the only thing the receptionist told her was "it happens" They make you sign in even if you're asking just a single question and will laugh in your face if you ask a question they deem "dumb" for someone who might not know the process of getting glasses or contacts or just an exam it may not be a dumb question. I came for contacts and they laughed because i was not aware that contact prescription expire after a year. I was under the assumption, that like glasses, it would be two years. The lady with the glasses was rude to most people that came in. Especially the receptionist with the clear glasses. Exhaling harshly out as if annoyed. I've worked receptions before. Yes it's difficult to work with customers but shouldn't be a reason to laugh at their faces and be rude and disrespectful. Will be taking my money elsewhere. read more

Ive been going here for over four years because the insurance makes this my location the staff is nice for the most part the lady in charge who fixes glasses has a little attitude and tries to over charge for everything they make their own prices for new frame or fix lenses she also tries to rush you out when picking glasses or new frames the doctor is also nice but tries to rush the appointments and doesnt even test you right or with full attention he also just cares about money it makes sense we all do but they do not have the patients best interest i also got a recommendation by the doc for laser i looked them up on yelp and they had horrible reviews i went to my own LASIK center because my friend had it done and the reviews are excellent the doc got mad when i didnt go with someone he recommended they just care about money and him working with other doctors for making more money seems like they lost their passion for doing this if they ever had one read more
