4 pc combo leg and thigh

This is a really a small place good seating just not for a ton of people. Very clean, swept and tables maintained. The food was really good. The lady at the counter had me laughing so hard, great recommendations, will be back for sure. Only was able to try some of the menu. There is a lot of choices.

It was just okay. We stumbled upon this place when we were looking for a good friend chicken spot. The reviews were good so we decided to give them a go. I do feel the chicken was not of good quality. It did not feel good after the meal - this could have been the frying and not necessarily the quality. The chicken was good value which we appreciated. Next time I would opt for a nonfried option.

Shrimp, 4 pc chicken, coleslaw

Happy to be back here!! It's been a while and I'm craving for their chicken so bad. Small shop with great flavors. So many choices on the menu, make sure to make up your mind before arrival. I was only planning to order the chicken only with shrimp but probably there's a misunderstanding so I ended up getting a chicken combo meal plus the shrimp. That's okay, the food is amazing. Quick and friendly service. The wait wasn't too long. Happily got my food, I was trying to shooting some videos from the front, and there was a crazy lady ran to me and shout at me and cursing and asking me to stop taking pictures of her. LMAO. Advice for the owner: Don't let psych people scare your customers away!!!

BIG BIG SHRIMP!

Ooopo weeee! My daughter had a craving for fried chicken--not any fried chicken but Louisiana Fried Chicken. She knew exactly what she wanted: The Louisiana Combo, which included one piece of chicken, one piece of fried fish, eight fried shrimp, a fluffy dinner roll all atop a mound of crispy golden fries. It also included a drink for 13.89. The cashier was patient as I changed my mind to order gumbo. Our food came within 6 minutes. Everything was piping hot and fresh. I didn't even take a photo before we devoured the combo. This is definitely a contender for best fried fish ever!!!! My gumbo was amazing with BIG BIG tempura shrimp floating on the top. All was clean, simple and delicious! Don't slap yo mama though! Just enjoy the flavors! 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up!!!

chicken buried under all the fries

There's a lot going on in here. I didn't have the time to read all the menu options posted so I stayed basic and just ordered their fried chicken and fries since it's in their name it's gotta be good, right? And it was! chicken was crispy, fresh and juicy. fries could've been crispier but they weren't bad. Service was quick and friendly enough. Prices were great. I'd definitely return and try their other dishes.

Best Louisiana fried chicken I have been to the fish combo is soo bomb !!!!!

It was my favorite but last time the chicken was pale yellow, not crispy, threw it out. Gross.

Crispiest, juiciest chicken. I always get a tray for office parties and am literally the most popular person at work!

Yummy food and amazing service! The vibe was very cute and I had a fun time here!!…read more I had stopped by after my convention looking for something fast and tasty It was only upon discovery of their god like chicken sandwich where i discovered what love was. I highly recommend it as well as the fry. It's not overly seasoned yet has the right amount of subtlety in the potatus. 11/10, I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area!

The good: The people working at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. We took a while to order, and they were patient and courteous. They gave our kids free little light up chick toys that they absolutely loved and kept them entertained while we waited for our food! The bad: - The reason it took us so long to order was because they were seemingly out of half of their menu items. Everything we wanted to order was out of stock, so we settled on boneless chicken with fries and chicken gyoza - Something very important to note is that they primarily serve dark meat for the boneless chicken. Dark meat can have a pink/red color even when fully cooked. We had several pieces that looked so red that we didn't feel comfortable eating them because it just looked unappetizing how red it was and I didn't feel fully certain it was cooked because I don't carry around a food thermometer lol. But no one in our party got sick, so I assume it was cooked? I honestly don't know. -When we arrived, they were playing very loud, very explicit hip hop. I love hip hop myself and it would have been fine if our kids weren't with us, but with kids it was just kinda weird to be listening to very explicit lyrics at 10 AM lol. It wasn't just normal hip hop, it was like the extra explicit cut of some SoundCloud rapper. Eventually they changed it to very loud country music. Just weird vibes either way

It was a weekday evening. Two kitchen staff and one server that does to go packaging as well…read more The order is placed by a kiosk in the front. It was simple and easy to navigate. On the screen it says "food takes 25-30min" I waited 50 min... There were at least 4 people waiting for their orders. Whenever one of us tried to talk to the server and as they were approaching, I could tell she was going to somewhere else like to the kitchen and intentionally tried not to give the eye contact with customers. The customer is next to you how can you not look at them...lol After almost an hour I got my food only to find that pickled radish was spoiled. Luckily I added an extra so it saved me. When I took out the container it was already full of gas and about to explode. When I opened it, smelled horrible like raw food left in the garbage disposal for weeks. (You can see how cloudy the juice is from the picture) Over all, I understand that this location has the worst review among other bb.q chicken in SGV, I'd choose other place next time. Food was good so 3 stars for that.

The food at bb.q Pasadena is pretty consistent and if you're looking for that typical flavor of…read moreKorean fried chicken, you will get that here. I only ever order takeout from this location and there's definitely things that could be improved. The location is on busy Colorado so parking is a nightmare. The workers here have absolutely no sense of urgency. Often I've been the only customer picking up and the speed of service could only be described as "meandering" to find and hand me my order. As previously mentioned, there's no issue with the food. It's juicy and flavorful. But there's inconsistencies like sometimes I get the side radish and utensils but other times not at all. The attitude of the workers you interact with are that of someone who has absolutely no pride in their work and are simply tolerating customers. It would go a long way to improve this location if workers were trained to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible. The cost is also astronomically high for chicken. A whole chicken is $31 before any taxes or fees. It's not competitive with other Korean fried chicken places and you have to imagine part of the cost is due to the location. I would be sad if this branch closed, since it is closest to where I live, but it wouldn't be a shock that it did close. There's a lot of low hanging easy changes that could be made. Better training from management, more local deals, and focusing on customer service.

I ordered two different flavors. I wanted part mild and part hot with a side of blue cheese dressing, to go. I was shocked when I went to open that to go container, and saw that they did not separate the mild chicken from the hot spicy chicken. In any event, it spoiled the dinner, because some people don't like spicy chicken, and since it was placed together, the whole thing was spicy. This has never happened to me before. Restaurants separate the mild from the spicy, or other flavors are separated, either by separate containers, paper or foil or something. And the portion size for the bleu cheese dipping sauce, was too small for the size of the order. It was pretty disappointing to say the least. --------------------Update-------- After the response from the restaurant that says they mix flavors on to go orders, I can't recommend this place. Can you imagine, ordering BBQ and Lemon-Pepper, and they don't know they should separate flavors, unless you ask for separate containers? Pretty pathetic to say the least. A hard pass for me from now on. Sheesh!

The wings, good GOD they were awful. Dry, over fried, hard yet somehow not crispy, and worst of all: all 4 flavors that my group tried were not good. The Mild was just Frank's Red Hot cut with what tasted like white vinegar, so it was just nothing but sour vinegar flavor. The Hot was just Frank's Red Hot, but the wings themselves were so bad it made it taste even worse. The BBQ was marginally acceptable, and the Lemon Pepper was just sour and salty. My group ordered sandwiches and burgers as well, all of them were dry and tasted off. As a whole, please NEVER COME HERE. My group
